I visited "Garden Dining" in Odaiba, which is a buffet dining at the Grand Nikko Tokyo hotel. I made a reservation online in advance for 7,600 yen including tax. This time, they were having a "Meat Festival" theme, so it was all about meat. The buffet restaurant had a nice open atmosphere with a view of the garden. Here is a review of the dishes I tried: - Green asparagus fritters: Lightly fried asparagus served with aurora sauce, very tasty. - Ice wine pot-au-feu: Slow-cooked pot-au-feu with well-seasoned meat that melted in your mouth. - Creamy white fish wrap: Delicious dish with white fish and cream. - Wagyu beef roast beef: Tender roast beef with a nice meaty flavor. - Australian sirloin roast: Meaty sirloin roast. - Iberico pork steak: Fatty and sweet pork that was the highlight of the meal. - Tornado sausage: Flavorful and meaty sausage. - Paella: Authentic and flavorful paella with seafood. - Lasagna: Creamy and delicious lasagna. - Various cakes: High-quality hotel cakes. Overall, each dish was delicious and of high quality. The variety may not be extensive, but each dish was satisfying. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was pleasant. I would love to visit again if I have the chance. I paid with a credit card and received a parking ticket, making it convenient for those driving. It was a very enjoyable dining experience. Thank you for the meal.

Lunch Buffet I recently had lunch at the GARDEN DINING at Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba, where they were having a Hawaiian Fair. It was a great opportunity to enjoy delicious Hawaiian cuisine while in Tokyo. I particularly enjoyed the asparagus with chicken, ox tail soup, and roast beef. The roast beef was a bit hard to get as the chef was not always present to slice it. It was a very relaxed atmosphere, but surprisingly there was a group of about 10 high-spirited university students having a party at the corner table. Their conversation revealed they were either aiming to be like Minato Ward guys or trying to impress them. It was interesting to see such a gathering at a hotel buffet. The food was delicious, and I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal. Menu Highlights: [Cold Dishes] Aloha! Lomi Lomi Salmon Aloha! Ahi Poke Low-temperature cooked chicken breast Cold Chicken Spam Omelette Chili Mayonnaise Hawaiian Cobb Salad [Hot Dishes] Thick Green Asparagus Fritters Oxtail Soup Hawaiian Pizza Garlic Shrimp Pan-fried Mahimahi with burnt butter soy sauce Scallops with macadamia nut butter and colorful vegetables Pork shoulder loin wrapped in banana leaves with Hawaiian salt and passion fruit [Chef's Special] Roast Beef from Australia [Deserts] Malasada Orange Mousse Banana and Coconut Cake Pineapple Jelly

Wow, there was a lovely Hawaiian quilt hanging on the wall, creating a nice atmosphere. Although the variety wasn't extensive, each item was made with care. The dressing for the salad and the Maui onion sauce on the asparagus were delicious. The roast beef was moist and tender, and I even tried putting it in the tail soup for a delicious twist. I came for the garlic shrimp and enjoyed plenty of them! The garlic flavor was strong and tasty! The shrimp were a bit pricey, but they were very delicious. The seafood marinade was also good. Additionally, the asparagus, mango cake for dessert, and acai sauce were all delicious. The mini pancakes were served with small pieces of malasada, which were great with chocolate or acai sauce. The acai sauce was tangy and sweet, and I had multiple servings. Booking through One Night was slightly discounted, making it a good deal in the 6000 yen range, and the restaurant wasn't too crowded, which was nice.

On July 15th (Saturday), I went on a two-night, three-day road trip to Tokyo and Yokohama. For dinner on the first day, we dined at Garden Dining located on the first floor of our accommodation, Grand Nikko Tokyo Odaiba. We had pre-booked the "Hawaii Fair" dinner buffet. After being seated and briefed, we started the buffet, enjoying a variety of dishes to our heart's content. The highlight was the Chef's service, offering dishes like Japanese beef roast beef and Australian sirloin roast beef. I personally enjoyed the Japanese beef roast beef the most. The garlic shrimp bucket with warm dishes was also delicious. We had drinks like Myer's smoothie for my son, craft lager for me, and the free-flowing drink option for my wife. The quality of the dishes was impressive, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful. Despite not being able to eat as much due to our previous meals, we had a great time enjoying the buffet at Grand Nikko. It was a satisfying dining experience.

During the Meat Festival, the roast beef and Iberico pork were not like the usual dry buffet meats, but juicy and very delicious. The curry was also tasty with a spicy and rich flavor, but be cautious if you don't like spicy food. The desserts exceeded the standard buffet cakes, with the cheesecake being particularly rich and recommended. Despite being full due to the holiday, the service was attentive and well-done.

This is a buffet restaurant located in the Odaiba area of Tokyo, at the Grand Nikko Hotel Tokyo on the first floor, just a 2-minute walk from the new transit Yurikamome Daiba Station. The restaurant, called "GARDEN DINING," offers a variety of carefully selected dishes from around the world in a buffet style. The space is filled with greenery and light, creating a relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal. The breakfast buffet costs 3,500 yen and includes a mix of Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine. Some recommended menu items are made-to-order omelets, homemade melon juice, homemade acai dressing, and various Tokyo specialty products. The reviewer arrived at 7:30 and had to wait about 10 minutes, but the service was quick and stress-free. By the time they left around 8:30, there was a line of 20-30 people waiting. Overall, they were satisfied with the breakfast, especially enjoying the pasta, sausages, marinated salmon, mentaiko, simmered vegetables, and Tokyo pickles. The made-to-order omelets were a highlight, and the quick replenishment of dishes was appreciated, although the reviewer missed out on the adachi na udon. The fresh melon juice was unique, tasting pure and not overly sweet. Despite some noise from families with children, the reviewer had a pleasant dining experience.

I visited the Garden Dining at Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba, where they are currently holding a Domestic Beef Roast Beef and Spring Harvest Fair. The restaurant has a spacious ceiling and a great sense of openness. The wide windows offer a view of the greenery outside, creating a pleasant atmosphere inside. The buffet on weekends (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) costs 7,000 yen per adult. For reference, beer is 1,400 yen and cola is 1,000 yen. Upon arrival at the reserved time, we were called to our seats in order. The seats filled up quickly. They hold various fairs according to the season, and it seems quite popular. I tried various salads and bite-sized appetizers before heading to the main dishes. The Roast Beef and Spring Harvest were the highlights. The asparagus was surprisingly thick. The chef carefully sliced the best part of the roast beef. Today's goal was the Roast Beef & Asparagus, and both were excellent. The meat had a perfect balance of lean and fatty parts, while the asparagus was juicy and easy to cut. Both had a delicious sweetness and umami flavor, leaving me satisfied!

This year, we celebrated my second daughter's birthday at Grand Nikko Tokyo Odaiba's GARDEN DINING. We reserved the "Early Christmas Lunch Buffet" for 4 adults and 2 elementary school students through the Ikyu website. The buffet included dishes such as roast beef, Iberico pork grill, chicken pepitoria style, roast pork with apple, meatloaf pie, green asparagus fritters, berry caprese, seafood marinade, scallop and clam chowder, and beef tendon curry. The roast beef and Iberico pork tartare were delicious, and the roast pork with green mustard sauce was flavorful without being heavy. The seafood marinade had a wide variety of options, and the berry caprese was very tasty. The pistachio panna cotta for dessert was also delicious. Each generation in our family found something they loved, and we had a great time. I ended up choosing the buffet style option to save money and eat a lot, after debating between sushi or dining at the restaurant. The hotel breakfast was expensive. The buffet had a variety of options including Western and Japanese dishes. I started with the Western section which had scrambled eggs, potatoes, bolognese, bacon, sausages, omelets, croissants, and cheese croissants. The omelets were made to order with choices of onion, ham, and cheese. Then I tried the Japanese section which included shumai, simmered dishes, rice porridge, and miso soup. The combination of rice porridge and simmered dishes was surprisingly good and became my favorite. For drinks, I ended up comparing soy milk and cow's milk, but it was just because the coffee server was empty after I took soy milk. The colors of the food were a bit dull, but that's expected from a hotel meal. Even though I tried to eat a lot, the overall quality did not impress me.

A colorful morning buffet with a mix of Japanese and Western dishes. It was quite enjoyable. They cook omelets right in front of you, and they never fail to make them perfectly. There were also many dishes made with salad and vegetables, making it a healthy buffet. Buffets and all-you-can-eat meals are always fun no matter how old you are. Thank you for the meal.

We used it as a couple, but honestly, the restaurant was not that delicious. I expected to be able to eat a variety of things because it was a buffet, but there weren't that many options, and we were able to eat everything quickly. There were a few tasty dishes, but I didn't think it was worth the price. We used a dinner voucher given to us by an acquaintance this time, but I wouldn't consider going there on my own dime.

The specialty here is the delicious large grilled asparagus. I couldn't go to Hawaii, so I visited just for the food. At 11:30, there were only about 3 groups of people, but more started coming in from 12 o'clock. Long ago, I remember that the juice was all-you-can-drink, but now only coffee, black tea, and hot/iced tea are free. Hawaiian beer was fruity and cost 1300 yen. The Japanese beer was Suntory Premium Malt. Due to COVID, each dish was served in small dishes, which was convenient. This time, I was looking forward to the asparagus, but it was thin and not very sweet. Maybe it's the season? It's been 2 years since I last came, but I can't say I was completely satisfied. Everything was delicious, but nothing stood out as exceptional. Among them, I recommend the dessert, Stollen, which was delicious. It was moist with dried fruits and nuts inside. However, I forgot to take a picture. When you think of Hawaii, you think of garlic shrimp. Unlike the authentic version, it wasn't as strong, and the shrimp were small, and the poke was just okay. The kids enjoyed the foreign steak and Loco Moco hamburger. I don't eat much crab, but if you come with a family who loves crab, I think winter is a good time to visit. There was no discount because I used a mileage coupon. Also, in August, weekends and holidays are treated differently, so the adult price is 5500 yen. There is a senior discount for those over 60. Even though there were 6 people, we were only charged for 4 people at the time of payment. It was like a service? But it was fun to get together after a long time.

I chose this restaurant for breakfast because I stayed with breakfast included. There were three options for breakfast, but I chose this one on the first floor because the menu was exactly the same as the one on the top floor. I could choose one main dish and the rest was a half buffet. The main dish options were a Japanese set meal or a Western set (with choices like omelette, fried egg, scrambled egg, French toast for egg dishes, and smoked bacon, sausage for meat dishes). The French toast was warm, sweet, and delicious. It went well with the bacon. The selection for the half buffet was a bit limited, but it was just right for breakfast. There were many types of bread, although I didn't have any. They recommended the melon juice, which I tried for the first time and it tasted just like eating a melon.

Hotel buffets priced in the 3000 yen range are rare. The service is very polite and typical of a hotel. Lately, I've been hooked on lunch buffets. You can get a large amount of vegetables with a lunch buffet, and for some reason, my energy level goes up during lunch buffets, whereas it goes down during dinner buffets. 😂

I used it for lunch at an Italian fair. There were many types of appetizers and they were delicious. I really liked the asparagus. The desserts were also delicious, and I was satisfied because I could try all the varieties in just the right size after the meal. Oh, it was a shame that the chocolate ice cream was gone and not replenished, so I couldn't have it. There were various meat dishes, which was good. I thought it was unusual that there was no roast beef at the buffet.

The restaurant was crowded due to an event, and compared to the Italian fair I had at Intercontinental Yokohama the other day, it felt a bit lacking. The price was also higher here, probably due to the location, which was disappointing. I wish the dessert had been of higher quality. Also, it would have been nice to be informed that we could order coffee and tea separately. Maybe I had high expectations from a hotel buffet?

I had the opportunity to stay at the Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba and visited this restaurant on the 1st floor. The buffet style was being offered, with hotel staff serving the dishes instead of self-service, which felt a bit intimidating at first. However, the staff were very attentive and I didn't feel any stress. The dishes were beautifully presented and the staff were very accommodating. The buffet featured dishes from Miyagi prefecture, such as Imo-ni, grilled beef tongue, and strawberries. There were also individual menu items available to order, like Hoy and winter melon marinated salad, and sesame and chicken salad. The main dishes included roast beef and sautéed asparagus, which was particularly delicious. The asparagus had a great flavor and the sauce options were also very tasty. I highly recommend trying the smoked herring roe tartar sauce with the asparagus, as it was a perfect match. The fish and meat sections were separated, and personally, I preferred the fish dishes. The steamed vegetables served with the fish were especially delicious. Overall, the quality and taste of the food at Grand Nikko were better compared to Hilton, although Hilton offers a better atmosphere and view of the Rainbow Bridge. Despite the slight inconvenience of having the staff serve the food, I still enjoyed the dining experience. One of the best things about this restaurant was their welcoming attitude towards solo diners, offering a special deal for individuals which made me choose Grand Nikko over Hilton. It was a fantastic initiative and greatly appreciated.

This time, we celebrated my eldest daughter's birthday with my grandparents at a restaurant. They were having a fair featuring dishes from Iwate Prefecture, and we also ordered a separate birthday plate for my daughter. We were served with tea and coffee, while I ordered a non-alcoholic beer and the kids had orange juice. For the appetizers, there were 8 different small dishes to choose from, and I selected Iwate-raised Holoholo chicken galantine, Nanbu pumpkin soup, raw ham of toro mackerel, salmon-wrapped salted tofu from Sanriku, and salami panzanella baked with Koizumi cheese. The kids particularly enjoyed the salmon-wrapped salted tofu, as the tofu was refreshing like cheese. The pumpkin soup was rich and creamy, which my second daughter loved. The kids also liked the creamy stew with small onions, while I couldn't resist the burdock, taro, and chicken stew and had seconds. The large asparagus was a hit with everyone, whether eaten on its own or with pickle dressing. The Wagyu shabu-shabu was also a favorite, and we all had seconds. For dessert, there were pear, melon, Amaou strawberry cake, and grape jelly, with plenty of options for the kids. I personally enjoyed the black bean and matcha tart. My daughter was delighted with the birthday plate, blowing out the candle on the strawberry shortcake with joy. We also received two photos, one for my grandparents' home and one for ours, which made us very happy. Thank you for a wonderful time☆ Thank you for the delicious meal☆

On Saturday, three generations - grandparents, parents, and grandchildren - went to a lunch buffet. Since it was close to my second daughter's birthday, we had pre-ordered a birthday plate with a cake separate from the buffet. When taking the buffet, everyone wore masks and gloves. There was a kids' corner with small items like corn croquettes, meatballs, and marshmallows, which the children enjoyed. There were also various colored cherry tomatoes with heart-shaped cheese on top, which my daughters found adorable and immediately grabbed. The side dishes, such as large asparagus and shrimp tempura, were delicious and popular with the adults. The swordfish and seafood pasta were also tasty. There were plenty of gratin dishes and pot-au-feu that children like. The main shabu-shabu meat was cooked by the staff on the spot, and it was tender and delicious, so both grandparents and children went for seconds. The dessert variety was abundant, with cute small plates for each item, all of which were delicious and adorable. The restaurant seats were clean and spacious, and the restroom was clean as well. After finishing the meal, we could conveniently go buy toys at Toys "R" Us in the hotel, which was very helpful. Thank you for the meal. ☆

I made a reservation at the Grand Nikko's Garden Dining buffet restaurant for a late lunch. I used a local coupon (electronic) and also used the Gotoeat program, which allowed me to use a combination of discounts. I successfully used 8,000 yen worth of local coupons and Gotoeat points, so I only had to pay a few hundred yen out of pocket. The original price was around 4,000 yen per adult. It's rare to find a buffet open during the pandemic (with gloves provided), but the variety of dishes wasn't as great as I had hoped. There were no standout items like steak, roast beef, or crab. The vegetables and appetizers were decently prepared and tasty. I particularly enjoyed the giant asparagus. The "roast beef" actually turned out to be pork, which was also quite tasty, but beef and pork are in different leagues. The butter chicken curry had a hotel-like taste, but I prefer the flavors of Indian curry. The pasta from the chef's station was presented well, with penne tossed in a large wheel of Parmesan cheese, but it was a simple tomato and mushroom penne. There was a kids' corner available. The dessert selection was relatively good.
