I visited the restaurant with my family on a regular morning. The location is on the 26th floor of Asakusa View Hotel, overlooking the Skytree. The hotel is conveniently located on Kaminarimon Street, directly connected to the Tsukuba Express (TX) Asakusa Station. However, the escalator-equipped A2 exit in front of the hotel is more convenient. I had stayed at the hotel since yesterday, so I had breakfast here. The Morning Buffet, which opens at 7:00 am, costs 3,080 yen. Breakfast seems to be exclusive to hotel guests. I arrived at the floor five minutes before opening time, but there was no line. Only a few groups arrived at the opening time. I handed in my breakfast ticket and was guided to a pair of seats overlooking the Skytree. There were cards placed on the table that could be flipped over. I explored the buffet table, which had a wide variety of carefully selected items. Should I go for Japanese or Western food? Let's start with the Japanese food section, which included tofu and thick fried tofu from Ichikawa Tofu shop nearby, red salmon, shishamo fish, okonomiyaki, onsen tamago, rice (Niigata Koshihikari), and miso soup. The rice was particularly delicious, with a glossy and chewy texture. The tofu had a rich soybean aroma. Shishamo fish is rare to find at buffets. For the second round, I tried the cold meats, ham, shrimp (with sweet chili sauce), and quiche, which were all good. I also had bread, guava juice, and blended coffee. Among them, the shrimp and quiche stood out. The hard bread was especially tasty. Cups for takeout were available near the reception. The staff outnumbered the diners, and they were very attentive, engaging in bold communication at the reception and in the hall. It seemed like there were no group tourists today. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Thank you for the meal.
