A cozy cafe in Daikanyama that emphasizes spices, "Spice & Cafe FamFam." Located on the second floor of SodaCCo, about a 7-minute walk from Daikanyama Station or Shibuya Station South Exit, this cafe offers a sunny terrace seat and calm table seats. The atmosphere is spacious and relaxed. Among their menu of drinks, alcohol, and desserts, they also offer a variety of curry dishes. One interesting option is the ★Tender Pork and Okra American Southern Style Curry for ¥1200. This dish is reminiscent of Creole-style Gumbo with okra served raw and pork belly cut into cubes for a unique texture and balance of meat and vegetables. A great choice for a leisurely meal or simply relaxing at the cafe. Enjoy a chilled Asai Lassi for an additional ¥300. If you want to spend a relaxing time, this is the place to be.

I visited to try the trendy spice curry recently. I ordered a chicken and keema mixed curry, and it was very delicious. The portion of rice was quite big even for a regular size, so I think I'll order less rice next time. For women, I recommend ordering less rice. The interior of the restaurant is decorated with many indoor plants, and the atmosphere is relaxed with slightly dim lighting. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was broken on the day I visited, so it was quite humid inside, but there were still many customers. There were couples, friends, families, and solo diners. I would like to visit again to try other menu items.

After getting my hair cut, I met my wife at a cafe. The iced coffee was incredibly delicious! The terrace and interior were spacious and clean, creating a nice atmosphere. Next time, I want to try the curry for lunch as it looks delicious based on reviews. Awesome, awesome!

The first visit was good, so I came back for a second time. The customer service and taste were great during the first visit, and it was a relaxing time. However, the second visit was disappointing. I had made a reservation for a sofa seat instead of a table seat, but I was kept waiting for at least 5 minutes without any confirmation. There was no apology during this time. Mistakes happen, but is it really that difficult to at least say sorry, or were they really deep in thought? We were left unsure of what to do. After that, we were not guided to our reserved seats, and we were left sitting without knowing when or where to move. It's a shame because the first visit had such a good impression. They have created a lovely restaurant, so I hope the staff can improve their customer service.

A restaurant near Daikanyama Station where you can enjoy curry and craft beer. I saw a friend enjoying curry and craft beer for lunch here the day before on SNS, so since it's nearby, I decided to go for a quick spa outing. I had noticed the place in passing, but with so many other must-visit places nearby, it always felt close yet far away. The interior is spacious with terrace seating as well. It may be a hidden gem in Daikanyama. Since it was the weekend, there were reserved seats available. I arrived at 11:30 for the 11:00 am opening. No customers were there before or after me, and I was seated at a solo table facing the wall... haha. I ordered the Chicken and Keema Curry (1300 yen), which was beautifully presented as a spiced curry. The spiciness was quite mild even with the Keema, with the spices being the main highlight. It was quite delicious. It's nice that you can adjust the amount of rice to your liking. I wish the chicken had a bit more presence though. They also offer a set with craft beer. I had come with the intention of enjoying a drink, but the uncomfortable solo seating and the somewhat unfriendly service brought my mood down, so I just quickly ate the curry and left the restaurant. It seems like a good spot to relax and unwind in Daikanyama, so it's worth checking out.

It had been a while since I used this place for a meeting. The order system had changed to using QR codes. I took advantage of the Happy Hour deal and had a Spring Brewery beer. I paired it with black truffle potato chips, which went perfectly with the beer. I started with beer and ended with a highball. Some of my companions had spicy curry as their last dish, but I had dinner waiting for me at home, so I focused on drinking.

I visited the cafe on a holiday afternoon. It was not as crowded as I expected, probably because it's a hidden gem with a lot of seating in a back alley. I ordered apple dessert and chai. The apple dessert takes about 10 minutes to bake after ordering, and it was delicious with warm apples, ice cream, and caramel sauce. The chai had a strong spice flavor, and the banana cake was also spicy and tasty with a hint of banana sweetness. It's a cafe where you can relax for hours, and many people were working there. Highly recommended cafe in Daikanyama. I will definitely visit again!

Fashionable town "Daikanyama" is definitely not a place for someone like me, an old man. However, when I heard that there was delicious curry there, it was my destiny to go. I mainly use the Odakyu Line, Keio Line, and Chuo Line. I thought about how to get to this shop, but since it's about a 15-minute walk from Shibuya or from Shibuya Station on the Keio Inokashira Line, I decided to walk. Upon arrival, I found a stylish building as expected. The interior of the shop on the second floor of the complex building "Sodacco" is impressive with potted plants and a wall full of bookshelves. For lunch, they mainly offer spice curries with 6-7 varieties. I decided to order the only menu item with the name "aigake". - Chicken and Keema Aigake Curry (1,300 yen) The firm Japonica rice, accompanied by carrot rapé, alfalfa, watercress, and half-boiled egg as side dishes. The mild chicken curry with a coconut flavor has a refreshing taste with hints of cardamom here and there. The Keema, made with ground meat, carrots, dashi, and basic spices, is a dish that is close to homemade Keema. The umami of the meat and dashi is the highlight. There were people around me drinking coffee and working on their laptops, and I couldn't help but think how great it would be to have lunch or work in such a space. Thank you for the meal.

- Access: 5-minute walk from Daikanyama Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line - Number of visits: First time - Purpose: Dinner with friends - Overview: A cafe dining tucked away in a quiet alley in Daikanyama. The interior has an antique feel, and there is also a terrace seating area that offers a sense of openness. It's a stylish place that can be used for various purposes. - Menu: As the concept of the restaurant is Spice & Cafe, the specialty menu is curry dishes made with spices. They offer various curries such as Keema Curry, Chicken Curry, and creative spice curries. On this day, we ordered the Keema and Chicken combo curry (1,300 yen) and a Heartland beer (600 yen). - Impression: We were looking for a cafe in Daikanyama where we could relax and use Wifi, and we found this place. Compared to other nearby establishments, this cafe has plenty of space and is perfect for a leisurely time. The combo curry we ordered was easy to eat with no unpleasant flavors, a basic type of spice curry. The Keema curry had a rich flavor of minced meat and just the right amount of spice. The Chicken curry was light and easy to finish quickly. With the availability of power outlets and Wifi, along with delicious curry in a spacious setting, we were overall very satisfied with this place. We would like to try other curry dishes here, so we look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the meal. - Rating at the time of visit: 3.32

Located on the outskirts of Shibuya, this café offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy spicy curry and craft beer. I visited for lunch around 2 pm on a weekday. - Pork belly sliced thin with chili oil curry (1,200 yen) Served with rice topped with melting cheese and a side salad. Comes with half a soft-boiled egg. The homemade chili oil with the aroma of coconut and the generous portion of pork belly create a unique curry that is reminiscent of a home-cooked meal but with a hint of spice. - Spring Valley (550 yen) I don't drink craft beer often as it lacks a strong individuality, but I enjoyed it after a long time. The café is very quiet, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind in the afternoon.

I visited this place that I had been curious about for a while, walking from Ebisu for lunch. It is a hidden gem surrounded by greenery, with a relaxed terrace seat. As it was getting warmer, I aimed for the terrace seat. I placed my order by scanning the QR code with my smartphone. On this day, I had the following items (tax included): - Chicken and Keema Curry 1600 yen - Original Lassi Acai 300 yen There are many types of curry to choose from, but since it was my first time, I went with the recommended dish. The curry had chicken cooked with plenty of tomatoes and onions for a long time, and Keema made with minced meat, mushrooms, and vegetables finished with Japanese dashi broth. It wasn't too spicy, so even those who don't like spicy food should be able to enjoy it. The use of spices was exquisite and delicious! The Acai lassi tasted like Acai yogurt, which I personally liked. They also have mango and plain flavors available for 300 yen. The terrace seat during this time of year is pleasant and nice. The other curries have unique characteristics that caught my interest, so I would like to visit again.

I went to a curry restaurant in Daikanyama for lunch. The menu is very extensive with healthy options, making it suitable for dates or girls' gatherings. The chai-flavored pudding for dessert was delicious and a new taste for me.

I chose the medicinal curry (1,100 yen) that caught my eye on the menu. I scanned the QR code and placed a mobile order. The curry had a gentle flavor with soaked daikon radish, and the marmalade added an interesting touch. I felt relaxed in the cozy interior, with cute illustrations on the hand towels showing thoughtfulness. Both my taste buds and eyes were satisfied. I hope to visit again in the future. Thank you for the delicious meal.

While walking in Daikanyama, I stumbled upon a charming restaurant a bit away from the station. It could be easily missed if you're not paying attention. I noticed a terrace seating area from the street and was intrigued by the cozy atmosphere of the place. Upon entering, I found a warm and unique space. Since everyone seemed to be enjoying curry, I decided to try it too. The colorful curry dishes looked delicious! This place also offers craft beer to enjoy with your meal. It's a cafe where you can see people working on their laptops or chatting with friends. The menu mentioned that the curry is made from scratch with tomatoes, onions, and a special blend of spices. The curry was amazing, with a refreshing tomato flavor, sweet onions, and a depth of spices. The variety of craft beers displayed near the counter caught my eye. Overall, it was a great dining experience with tasty food and a cozy ambiance.

I ordered the "Pork and Spicy Oil Curry" for lunch at a spice cafe where you can feel the warmth of the wood. The curry, made with a gentle coconut base, is generously topped with homemade spicy oil that adds just a light kick. The unexpected combination creates a comforting and delicious taste. On a nice day like today, it's the best to relax on the green-filled terrace, feeling the breeze.

In Daikanyama, there is a curry restaurant with various types of curry that are so delicious it's hard to choose. The dishes all look so appetizing! They have indoor and terrace seating options, and since the weather was nice, I chose the terrace seat. I had the curry with pork, melted cheese, and eating chili oil. It's a combination of homemade chili oil, melted cheese, pork, and coconut curry! The chili oil goes so well with the curry, and adding cheese on top was the best! For dessert, I had the Famfam baked apple, made with a whole apple and served with rich ice cream with a hint of cinnamon. Both the curry and dessert were delicious. What a great experience!

I visited Spice & Cafe FamFam! - Acai Lassi: It was refreshing and not too heavy. Although it wasn't very cold, it paired well with the curry and was delicious. You can choose to have the drink served before or after the meal. - Pork and Melting Cheese Curry with Eating Chili Oil: Some reviews mentioned that the curry was lukewarm, but I personally found it delicious! The combination of eating chili oil and spiced curry was really good!! The curry wasn't too spicy or heavy, so even on a hot day when I didn't have much appetite, I ended up eating it all. The dish was colorful with vegetables, eggs, and carrot rapé, providing a good balance of nutrition and satisfaction. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, located a short distance from Daikanyama Station. Surrounded by greenery, the terrace seats seemed popular. I visited alone, but there were single seats available where I could relax. The option to read books provided in the restaurant was very appealing! Orders were placed by scanning a QR code with a mobile phone, which was quite modern. I would love to visit again because the food was so delicious! Thank you for the meal!

Elegantly enjoying tea. The world may be crowded, but this place hasn't been discovered yet, maybe it's good that it's far from the station. I've started to recommend Japanese tea. That's also good. I ordered through a QR code on the table, but unfortunately, the payment button requires calling a staff member. Once the payment is done... one more time...

The atmosphere of the store is stylish and relaxing, and the food was delicious! Authentic curry! There are unique curries that you can't find elsewhere, so I want to come back again! I was surprised by how well the chili oil and curry go together. It's a cafe-like place where you can come alone. There were books in the back, so I want to take my time and read them next time. The cost performance was also excellent.
