I stayed on a weekday during the summer vacation and it was not crowded, perhaps because the vacation had just started. I enjoyed the cocktail time starting from 5:00 PM, but the food was light snacks. There were various drink options, including 4 types of craft beer, all of which were refreshing with a good aftertaste and very delicious. The food was also tasty and paired well with the beer.

A large window, expensive chairs, and a small snowman in a glass that rivals a sled. The snowman may be different, but the display in this glass is definitely made by someone from the executive floor. The luxurious feel of this place, with a soothing snowman, was truly impressive. The coffee I had here was not only delicious, but also very tasty.

It's strange that the lounge mostly serves Asahi or Premium Malt beer, and you rarely see Kirin. However, they have three types of craft beer that you can pour yourself, which could be great for beer lovers. As for whiskey, they usually have Maker's Mark and Suntory, but you don't see Black Nikka or Tris often. It's puzzling.

Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba Executive Floor Lounge is located at the back of the front desk when heading towards the elevator. I decided to stay with a plan that includes breakfast with a Rainbow Bridge view from the Executive Floor for about 30,000 yen. The room's refrigerator includes complimentary drinks (2 each of cola, green tea, Super Dry, and half bottles of red and white wine). I read some reviews before and thought this was a good deal. I wanted to check out the sauna and bath as well. During check-in, I was guided to the afternoon tea time area and offered drinks. They brought me an afternoon tea set. They also brought additional drinks, but it seemed like it was supposed to be self-service depending on the timing. Afternoon tea was okay, but I found cocktail time more enjoyable. From 5:00 to 8:00 PM is cocktail time. When I went a little after 5:00, it was almost full, with a high percentage of women and many solo female guests. The atmosphere was cozy, and there were various magazines available. Although there weren't many options, the staff served the buffet-style cocktails at the adjacent cocktail corner. They made the cocktails from the list upon request. They were continuously making cocktails, which seemed tough. Thank you very much. There were three types of craft beers, and the staff recommended one that suited my taste better than the berry-flavored one. The staff was friendly and made the experience enjoyable. The service was excellent, and I felt the hotel's desire to provide a great experience. I enjoyed sparkling wine, gin and tonic with lychee, three types of craft beer, and the alcohol made the experience even more fun. I didn't come across sake or whiskey, but it was still enjoyable. The raisins were plump and delicious. Thank you for the meal. I had assumed that the hotel's club lounge is usually located on the same upper floor as the room category, but there was also a lounge on the 27th floor with drinks and magazines. The view of the courtyard on the second floor was refreshing as it was different from the view of the room with the Rainbow Bridge view. There was a counter in front of the lounge for check-in procedures, and the seating inside was not for check-in purposes. The restrooms were also located outside with separate entrances for men and women, requiring a key card for access. It was a fun experience.

On July 15th, we went on a two-night, three-day road trip to Tokyo and Yokohama. After eating eel in Shizuoka, we encountered a bit of traffic, but we arrived at our first night's accommodation, Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba, around 5 pm. We checked in and were guided to the exclusive lounge on the second floor. They had a cocktail time from 5 pm to 8 pm with all-you-can-eat hors d'oeuvres and all-you-can-drink drinks, including alcohol (only for guests aged 20 and above after 6 pm). We had a large eel rice bowl around 1 pm, so we didn't need to reserve dinner (especially a buffet) for the first day. I warned my family not to overeat, but my wife still ended up taking a lot of food, saying she wanted to try everything. I also thought I should have at least two drinks since it was free. The staff at the beer dispenser recommended different beers for my two drinks, and they were both delicious. The mini burgers may have been average, but the atmosphere of the lounge, along with the tasty beer, made it a great experience. We were all satisfied and wanted to eat more, but we decided to head back to our room. It was a delightful dining experience!

I had breakfast at the hotel. It was delicious, especially the omelette from the live kitchen. It was topped with demi-glace sauce and filled with cheese, ham, and onions. The cereal was also tasty. The melon was too hard, I wish it was more ripe. I grabbed croissants, pancakes, and Danish pastries on my plate, but when I went to get coffee, the restaurant staff cleared them away. I was disappointed as I wanted to eat them! It was crowded with inbound guests, so I understand the hotel staff must have been busy, but I wish I could have enjoyed my meal until the end. ( ; ; )
