TACKNMON
Fuji's "Too Detailed to Convey" has been a favorite segment of mine for a long time, but in recent years, I feel like the comedy isn't as touching as it used to be. It's like, without Nori-san or Sekine-san...hmm, you know? Anyway! Hello, it's Tapio-lover Takumon~☻ Today, I visited "Shunsuido Daikanyama Store." It's about a minute from Daikanyama Station, doing a somersault. Opened in July 2013, it is the origin of tapioca milk tea. Established in 1983, "Shunsuido" is a tea specialty cafe that boasts national popularity in Taiwan. You can enjoy the hit drink tapioca milk tea in Japan. They also have a variety of food menu options, so feel free to visit for lunch as well. They have multiple stores, including Roppongi, Ginza, and Omotesando. I visited on a weekday at lunchtime. Feeling excited, I took a stroll in Daikanyama without a destination in mind, and I was drawn to this place. This store seems to be like the first store in Japan. Wow, it seems like it was quite crowded when it first opened, but now you can easily enter. The interior is spacious, clean, and nice. There are counter seats in the front, table seats in the back, and the register and kitchen in the middle. I secured a seat first, then placed my order at the register. There is self-serve water nearby. The customers are predominantly female. Wi-Fi is available. The restroom is clean and functional. Today, I tried the "Doujiang Jitanmen" for 980 yen. Wow, there are quite a lot of menu options, not just drinks! They have Lu Rou Fan...interesting. When I asked for a recommendation, I was told that this one is personally liked, so I decided to try it without hesitation. The name is difficult. Doujiang Jitanmen (Toujiang Jitanmen). This might be my first time encountering this. After ordering, I received a number tag and waited for a while. After a short wait, it was brought to me. Wow, it's white. Looks delicious. Let's start with the soup. Mmm, delicious. What a soup. Fluffy. The gentleness of soy milk, chicken, and shungiku. The best. It's warming. This is highly recommended for women too! It's healthy, and you can eat it without feeling guilty. Upon researching, I found out that in Taiwan, "Doujiang Shops" that serve dishes using soy milk are essential for breakfast. For Taiwanese people, breakfast means soy milk. So, they take it seriously. Not spicy. The mild acidity of black vinegar was just right. Dangerous, I might get addicted. Taiwanese cuisine is no joke. I finished it quickly, turned the bowl over, and surprisingly, I still have some lunch break time left. Let's take a little more walk~ Oh, I forgot to buy tapioca milk tea...Thank you for the meal. This was Takumon passing by. Bye-bye♪
