It has been about 10 years since I last visited this restaurant, which used to be called Tonchan Street. Today, I ordered lunch set B. The pasta was penne and I chose tiramisu for dessert. The Kamakura vegetable salad was crunchy and delicious. The pasta was al dente and had the perfect texture. The tiramisu I had after such a long time was also delicious. Compared to the past, the restaurant now has about five tables, but it was full by noon. I would like to visit again for dinner next time.

I have been to this restaurant a few times before the pandemic, and it is actually one of my favorite places. I'm glad they have reopened properly after the lifting of the state of emergency due to COVID-19. It's a hidden gem for me to enjoy authentic flavors nearby. I want to visit alone on days when my husband is away on business trips, so it's a special place for me. I have always been drawn to the good taste of the interior design that has remained simple and sophisticated. I ordered the "Pranzo A" set, which is just the right amount for me. For lunch, I was happy to see that they still serve the Kamakura vegetable salad that I fell in love with when I first visited. It impressed me back when organic vegetables were not as mainstream as they are now. The pasta I chose was the "Spaghetti with Brown Mushroom in Garlic Flavor." Many places serve mushrooms with cream or tomato-based sauces, but I was intrigued by the simple garlic flavor. It's a hit for mushroom lovers! The pasta that arrived was exactly as I imagined, with a modest presentation that was appealing. The use of oil was excellent, with a perfect emulsification that allowed me to taste the garlic flavor while enjoying the glossy oil. I rarely achieve such a perfect balance of oil in my own cooking. I savored every bite and felt deeply moved. It's like meeting your first love again and reigniting that spark. I want to make more frequent visits since it's so close by.

I saw this site and thought, "Wait, is it closing down?" So I decided to come for lunch right away. For lunch, they had two options: Pasta Lunch (something A) and another one (something B). The Pasta Lunch was 1300 yen, and the other one was around 1900 yen, I think? Not too expensive. I ordered the Pasta Lunch and had to choose from three options. I chose the Peperoncino with green peppers. The other options were bacon and eggplant tomato pasta, and tomato penne. I was in the mood for something light, so I chose the Peperoncino. First, they served Kamakura vegetable salad and two pieces of bread. The salad also had a side of bread and a tomato-based dish, which felt like a good deal. The pasta was delicious, but since it was just Peperoncino with green peppers, it felt a bit lacking in ingredients. So I added plenty of powdered cheese and enjoyed it. A drink (coffee) was also included, adding to the value. The atmosphere inside was quiet and dimly lit, making it easy to come in alone. I remembered being taken here by my boss before and having wine, so I thought I'd like to come back at night next time.

After trying three times and finally getting a seat, the salad, pasta, and of course, the panna cotta were all delicious. The flavors were rich and satisfying.

My regular senior took me out for lunch. The pasta was refined and delicious. The location is familiar to me, a back alley where I used to be around in the late 90s. It's nostalgic to think about my days at the gym.

This is a retro and cozy restaurant. The sweetness of the vegetables and the taste of the pasta were both delicious. The tiramisu was also amazing! It seems like a lovely couple runs the place. I hope they continue to do well.

- What a surprise! The famous Italian restaurant Binoepasta in Urahara Harajuku may be closing because they don't have evening staff! The pay is over 1200 yen per hour! If you want to experience authentic Italian cuisine, please apply now! Call 03-3478-0417. - The classic Italian dishes served in Italian dining rooms are still going strong! The seafood linguine with tomato sauce has a rich flavor. This tomato sauce is something young chefs cannot replicate! - It's been a while. As expected, you can enjoy delicious food with peace of mind because the basics of Italian cuisine are solid. A salad with just salt, pepper, and olive oil is considered Italian cuisine. Grilled saury is also considered Italian cuisine. The skilled techniques like intricate omelettes and elaborate marinated octopus are things that young chefs cannot do. The imported ingredients like prosciutto and fennel-flavored salami are authentic Italian cuisine. There are no loud, handsome waiters or pretentious, greasy chefs. There are no overdressed industry people from the countryside. There is just simple, faithful Italian cuisine. End your meal with an adult tiramisu scented with Calvados! - A reliable, long-standing establishment that lives up to its reputation. Authentic Italian cuisine. The homemade sausage with a hint of cinnamon is a masterpiece that captures the flavor of the meat. The pot-au-feu is a soup. The elegant flavor is enhanced by cheese and basil seasoning. This combination is something that pretentious young Italian chefs cannot achieve. This is what you eat in Italy! - The sea urchin used in cold pasta is not of good quality. The imported ones have a strong smell. Other than that, everything is delicious as usual. - The tagliatelle with sausage is truly authentic Italian cuisine. I want people to understand the greatness of the basics. Most Italian restaurants in Japan serve original dishes created by pretentious chefs. There are too many restaurants that lack the basics. Even if you eat here once, you might think it's ordinary or plain. You should backpack through Italy before making such comments! (laughs) - Braised spring cabbage and platinum pork. Appetizer. All of them have a first-class taste. This restaurant's Italian cuisine is truly authentic. - Tagliatelle with bamboo shoots and chicken ragu sauce. Delicious! The same taste as a popular restaurant in Florence. Assorted appetizers. Salami with fennel, octopus in tomato sauce, chicken breast, marinated eggplant, tomato mozzarella, and more. Everything tastes like popular Italian dining rooms. You can't experience this taste at a fancy restaurant filled with truffles and foie gras. It's the taste of a popular local restaurant on the outskirts of Florence. This is authentic Italian cuisine. Simple and delicious. No unnecessary embellishments. Just Italian cuisine. - Pasta with spring cabbage and anchovy. Seasoned with salt, olive oil, anchovy, garlic, and a little chili pepper. This pasta is so delicious that you can't stop eating. There are probably only three Japanese chefs who can create such a delicious pasta with this simple seasoning. However, it's not an extravagant dish filled with foie gras. It's the taste of a popular dining room in Florence. This is what authentic Italian cuisine tastes like. It's all about the basics. No fancy touches. Just Italian cuisine. - Venison salt-cured carpaccio brings out the mild flavor of venison with the perfect amount of salt. Wild boar stew with a surprising hint of cinnamon. This is the traditional technique of this restaurant, which is the most orthodox Italian restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful traditional Italian techniques. - The fettuccine with truffle butter was incredibly delicious! It tastes just like eating in Italy. This is a wonderful skill. This is a taste that young Italian chefs cannot replicate. It's all about experience. The fall of 2015 featured a special on porcini mushrooms. The reliable taste of an Italian dining room. It's just like eating in Italy!

I had been curious every time I passed by this shop. Since I visited once, it has become my favorite place. I will post a compilation of past photos. The interior of the shop is clean and calm. Upon entering, you will see the kitchen on the right. At the end, there are table seats, and further back on the left, there are more table seats. The assortment of appetizers is meticulous, rich in variety, and a quite luxurious combination. Although not shown in the photos, the Kamakura vegetable salad is exquisite! A simple salad with salt and olive oil, but the chef's skill is condensed in this salad. The tripe is elegant. Among many shops that make it with a heavy flavor, a real chef can achieve this kind of taste. Delicious. Spaghetti with karasumi. Pasta generously coated with karasumi, simply delicious! Squid ink risotto. The balance of ink aroma and saltiness is excellent. The service is also attentive and friendly. It seems that the chef is cooking alone, but there is no waiting time for the dishes to be served. With the coordination of the waitstaff, each dish is brought at just the right timing. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again.

I visited this restaurant for lunch! There were two staff members working. The interior was spacious with seats all the way to the back, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The lunch menu had three options, including a delicious dish with organic vegetables from Kamakura seasoned with olives. The baked cheese on baguette was also tasty and easy to eat. The main pasta dish I chose had a good amount of tomatoes, black olives, and shrimp. You can choose from several main dishes. The flavor was to my liking, with a rich tomato taste. The staff members were not very friendly, but they efficiently refilled water and served the food. If you're looking for a casual dining experience, I recommend this place. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

If you want to eat delicious Italian food in this area of Harajuku where there are few good restaurants, this is the place to go! I had been curious about this place for a while and today I went alone, wanting to enjoy a good meal while lost in my thoughts. The arugula made with Kamakura vegetables tasted just like the arugula in Italy, with a nice spiciness to it. The duck meat ragu sauce tagliatelle reminded me of my trip to Florence, Italy, with its authentic Italian flavors.

We went to VINOEPASTA, an Italian restaurant that uses plenty of Setouchi fish and freshly picked vegetables from Kamakura. We chose the 1,700 yen lunch course, which includes appetizers, pasta, dessert, and a drink. The meal started with sparkling wine as an aperitif, accompanied by a chef's special salad with delicious dressing and baguette. For the main course, we had a choice between penne with porcini mushroom and pork ragout sauce, and rigatoni with pumpkin and prosciutto cream sauce. Both dishes were cooked perfectly with a good texture. For dessert, we shared sesame panna cotta and cocoa dessert. We finished with coffee. It was a delightful experience to enjoy delicious Italian cuisine in Harajuku. Highly recommended for those who appreciate quality ingredients in their Italian dishes. VINOEPASTA is located at 3-27-15 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.

I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of Harajuku and have a calm lunch, so I decided to drop by this place. It has a nice vibe as if it has been around for a long time. The Art Deco design is kind of unique and different from what you see everywhere else. Depending on how you look at it, it may not be considered trendy, so please be aware of that. There is an open kitchen at the entrance, with smoking and non-smoking seating on either side, which is nice. I ordered the 1700 yen lunch set (there is also a 3500 yen option). It includes two appetizers, a choice of four pastas, bread, dessert, and coffee. The appetizers were a brown mushroom and artichoke salad, made with very fresh and delicious ingredients, and the dressing complemented the ingredients nicely. The bread served as a nice accent. The pasta I chose was penne with lamb ragu sauce and spring cabbage. The pasta was cooked perfectly with a nice chewy texture. The lamb ragu sauce was good, but personally, I thought they could have emphasized the spring cabbage a bit more. The two slices of bread were crispy and delicious. Overall, I was very satisfied with the meal for 1700 yen, which included dessert and coffee. I would recommend this place to people who want to enjoy a delicious meal without focusing too much on the atmosphere. I would like to come back for dinner if I have the chance.

This Italian restaurant in the Harajuku area is the most relaxing and offers proper course meals. It doesn't cater to young people, which is good. It's not for those who are satisfied with just pasta and water. It's a great place for those who appreciate authentic Italian cuisine at reasonable prices. The food and wine are both authentic, with a good balance between price and portion size. The appetizer platter offers a variety of dishes, each with great flavor and highly recommended. The roasted lamb and grilled fish are worth trying. The desserts have a homemade feel, with the orange tart being delicious. The owner and staff provide service without pandering to customers, focusing on their work, which is commendable. The slightly shy smiles of the staff are refreshing, standing out from overly attentive service at other restaurants.

Lunch at the nearby Italian restaurant. I usually prefer a more open atmosphere, but this place is nice and quiet. The salad with balsamic vinegar really lifted my spirits today. The soup was also delicious. The cream pasta made with Kamakura vegetables was just right in terms of saltiness, not too heavy despite being a cream pasta. For those not worried about calories, adding a dessert could be a nice touch. This place introduced me to pasta, as I used to only eat ramen and soba noodles in the past.

I visited this Italian restaurant after several years. It is a traditional and unpretentious place with a mix of decorations. The chef serves delicious Kamakura vegetables that he buys fresh every time. The restaurant has counter seats, smoking seats, and non-smoking seats, with a view of the outside from the non-smoking section. The interior is mainly in shades of tea and white, with some lighting but enough natural light coming in to create a bright atmosphere. On this day, we ordered the lunch course for ¥1,700 and ¥3,500, with sparkling wine and white wine. The ¥1,700 course included appetizer, pasta, dessert, and drinks, while the ¥3,500 course included appetizer, pasta, main course, dessert, and drinks. The chef's whim salad was simple but delicious, with perfectly balanced vegetable draining and seasoning. The appetizer platter had 9 different items, including smoked scallops and grilled marinated eggplant. The spaghetti with garlic oil and the tomato and basil spaghetti were both simple and fresh in taste, cooked al dente. The grilled flounder and vegetable fritto was outstanding, bringing out the maximum flavor of the fish with minimal seasoning. This restaurant excels in serving delicious fish dishes. I tend to stick to my favorite dishes, but even just the salad and grilled fish alone show the high quality of this place. I prefer casual and welcoming restaurants, so I give this place a very satisfying 4 stars.

This is an Italian restaurant located on Harajuku Street, right near SHANTi Harajuku. Many solo diners frequent this place, and the quiet atmosphere allows you to enjoy your meal in peace, making it a place I have visited alone for lunch several times. **Interior & Atmosphere:** As soon as you enter, the kitchen is on the right side, with the smoking area near the kitchen. It is completely separated, with non-smoking tables in a room at the back. The interior is very simple, with fresh vegetables displayed by the window. The non-smoking room feels like a private space, not too dark or too bright, with a perfect amount of natural light. Despite the busy street outside, the atmosphere inside is surprisingly quiet. **Service:** The staff is not overly friendly, but they maintain a good balance with the customers. They provide the necessary service efficiently, such as refilling water promptly. The chef seems to have a craftsman-like personality. The menu is a bit difficult to read due to the fancy handwriting. **Food:** I ordered the "PRANZO (lunch set) A" for 1,280 yen. You can choose from three pasta options, which come with salad, bread (2 pieces), and a drink (coffee, tea, or espresso). The salad with Kamakura vegetables was fresh, with a simple vinegar and oil dressing. The pasta I had was Spaghetti Amatriciana, with a tomato sauce containing pancetta and onions. The portion was slightly small, but with the salad and bread, it was just right. The espresso served in a demitasse cup was a bit too small for my liking. **Price:** Although I would prefer the price to be around 1,000 yen, the peaceful atmosphere where you can enjoy lunch without worrying about cigarette smoke justifies the extra 280 yen for me. It's not a high-end restaurant, making it a convenient place for a casual lunch alone. I hope to visit with my partner on a weekend, but unfortunately, they are closed on Sundays and holidays. I will definitely return alone when I crave fresh vegetables and well-balanced pasta until we can visit together.

Today, I felt like eating pasta so I visited this restaurant. It is located on a street known as "Tonchan Street" and has a calm Italian atmosphere. The inside of the restaurant is not visible from outside, so it may be a bit intimidating to enter. The restaurant has around 30 seats, so it is not very spacious. There are only two staff members, one chef and one server. I visited around 12 PM and there were about 5 customers. The lunch menu offers 3 options at a slightly higher price point. 1) Pasta + Bread + Coffee for 1280 yen, with a choice of 3 pasta dishes. 2) Pasta + Bread + Dessert + Coffee for 1700 yen. 3) A course meal for around 3000 yen. I ordered the Cabbage and Anchovy Garlic Pasta from option 1. First, I was served a Kamakura vegetable salad with a simple salt dressing that brought out the flavor of the vegetables. The pasta portion was small but deep, providing a satisfying amount. The flavor was simple and paired well with the salad. Additionally, two baguettes were served with the meal.

Harajuku's so-called "Tonchan Street" is lined with Urahara shops. The chef's home-grown vegetables from Kamakura and fresh seafood directly delivered from Shiohama Port seem to be the specialties. I ordered the scallop light kunsei salad and carbonara. The vegetables were delicious, although a bit salty, it paired well with the wine. The carbonara had a good al dente texture, but lacked a bit of pepper. For dessert, I chose the tiramisu which was served with ice cream. The portion was small but delicious. The espresso was lukewarm. The lunch set cost 1700 yen, and the wine by the glass was 500 yen. The restaurant had a slightly dim atmosphere due to poor lighting. The service was not great either. The kitchen and sofa seats near the kitchen were smoking allowed, while the seats further back were non-smoking. Despite it being a late lunch time, most non-smoking tables were taken. Overall, I felt that there was something lacking in the restaurant aside from the food quality. [Rating: ★2.5, I would walk quite a distance to visit again] (Standard rating is ★2.0)
