I visited the shop during the daytime on a regular day! [Atmosphere of the shop] There were various types of dishes and they were delicious! [Feedback on the food, staff's response and attitude, etc.] The atmosphere was very nice, and the food was satisfying in taste. The service was also good, so I would like to visit again!

✳️Hyakusai Kenbi Akebi no Mi @ Ochanomizu, 2nd visit. A wide variety of dishes at the Japanese buffet, surprisingly affordable! Easy for families to visit. Started with the online reservation limited sashimi assortment - very fresh! Sushi - tuna, squid, salmon. The quality of the ingredients was amazing! The popular dish is the hamburger. It's very large and disappears quickly. Surprisingly juicy and meaty. Tempura was ordered at the table and brought freshly fried. Each person gets their own hot pot, similar to a ryokan, with a sweet flavor. Enjoyed other dishes like shumai, simmered dishes, and mapo eggplant. Satisfied with desserts like sweet red bean soup and jelly. I definitely want to go again!

Buffet restaurant "Hyakusai Kenbi Akebinomi" cooks dishes without using chemical seasonings or preservatives as much as possible. They use plenty of vegetables to create a buffet that is gentle on the body. During lunchtime, you can enjoy freshly fried tempura, and during dinnertime, you can also order freshly fried tempura and sushi. Despite being a weekday, the restaurant is popular with good customer traffic, and it offers a reasonably priced hotel buffet. The attentive service provided was very satisfying. Thank you for the meal. Lunch buffet order: ¥1,690

After the declaration was lifted and gatherings of up to 4 people were allowed, I cautiously went to lunch with my subordinate. We decided to have a leisurely chat, so we chose the lunch buffet at Hotel Juraku in Ochanomizu near the office. The lunch cost 1690 yen, which was reasonable. The buffet mainly consisted of Japanese cuisine and was said to be healthy. I made a reservation online. The outdoor staircase was closed off, so we entered the restaurant on the 2nd floor from the hotel lobby. We were a few minutes late, and there was a line of people waiting. It turned out they didn't have a reservation. I approached the staff calling out names at the front desk, and they let us in. We received a brief explanation and placed our tempura order. Now, onto the buffet. Indeed, there was a lot of Japanese food. Most of it was served in small dishes. We filled our trays with various items and just as the tempura arrived, we started eating! We also had clear soup. Oh, I forgot to take photos. After silently eating, I intended to chat, but ended up talking anyway. It's okay if it's in a low voice. When I drink, I tend to get louder. We started with the tempura, which was delicious. Then we enjoyed the dishes on the small plates. Time for seconds. Curry, karaage, mushroom rice, soup, bread, mozuku... everything was mixed up. The curry was really tasty with a rich flavor. The bread was average. As time passed, we felt better and better. We had sweet red bean soup, fruit punch, matcha jelly, cake... The drink options were a bit lacking. They were free but not very exciting. The conversation continued, and we decided to add some alcohol this time. We paid with PAYPAY and headed to our next job.

I met up with a friend for lunch right after the state of emergency was lifted, so we visited the restaurant together. It was my first time having lunch there as we usually went for dinner before. They had a buffet with a variety of fresh salads and you could order tempura at your table, which they would keep refilling. The menu mainly consisted of Japanese dishes like simmered dishes, udon, and curry. We finished our meal with white rice dumplings and dessert. The food was delicious. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I still prefer the dinner menu though.

Store Name: Akebi no Mi Taberogu Healthy Buffet This is a highly rated restaurant that has been featured in various media outlets. The recommended order is the lunch buffet for ¥1680. The appearance and taste are great, with a good balance of Japanese and Western dishes, including curry and sweet red bean soup. The variety of options is also impressive. They offer organic roasted coffee and delicious desserts. The service includes a wagon service and freshly fried tempura. The product quality is rated at 78 points, service at 80 points, and cleanliness at 80 points, resulting in an overall rating of 80 points. It is recommended to make a reservation, but on weekdays, you can usually find a seat without any issues. The location is a 5-minute walk from Ochanomizu Station, and if you walk along the tracks in Akihabara, you will find it easily. You can order from 11:30 onwards, and the food is served buffet-style. Overall, the satisfaction level is high due to the healthy lunch, good value for money, excellent service, and no time limit allowing for a leisurely meal. I would definitely like to visit again if given the chance. Thank you for the meal.

Jalan points were about to expire, so I decided to use them all for a lunch here (^∇^) They took good measures for infection prevention with initial disinfection and temperature checks. The small dishes were not fully covered with film, which was a bit questionable, but overall the table spacing was adequate. They had acrylic dividers as well. The most important part was the food. Being a buffet that focuses on healthy Japanese cuisine, the dishes were quite healthy and delicious. Highlights included freshly fried tempura, freshly fried chicken, vegetable gratin, deep-fried eggplant, simmered vegetables, grilled miso-marinated cod (a special net reservation bonus), three types of rice balls (plum, seaweed, salmon), Korean pancakes, flavorful miso soup, and pickled vegetables. The rice balls were especially delicious, with even my wife who usually doesn't eat rice having three, along with me and our daughter. The plum rice ball was particularly outstanding. The curry was on the spicier side, not to my daughter's liking, more suitable for adults perhaps. For dessert, there was lemon yogurt cake and a unique caramel pudding. The adult coffee jelly with a strong bitterness was surprisingly delicious. The sweet red bean soup could have been a bit sweeter though. The drink bar included CC Lemon and ginger ale, and coffee was also included, making the adult price of 1690 yen very reasonable. With the discount from points, the payment per person ended up being less than 600 yen, which felt a bit too cheap. The train view seats were enjoyable, and my family seemed to have a great time, already wanting to come back. The staff were polite, courteous, and provided clear explanations and quick refills. This place offers great value for the price. I would like to come back for dinner next time to try their sushi. If you don't dislike Japanese cuisine, I highly recommend this place (^∇^)

I visited the restaurant on a holiday at 5:30 PM. I'm not a big fan of buffets as I tend to get full quickly just by looking at the food. This time, I used a coupon and points to visit at a lunch-like price. Freshly fried tempura was served first, and then you can help yourself to other dishes. The hot dishes are served hot and cold dishes cold, and everything I tried was delicious. The person at the next table seemed to eat a lot, but for those who are good at eating a variety of foods, this restaurant is very cost-effective. However, for those who only go to the buffet 2 or 3 times, the cost-effectiveness may not be as good. If there are good coupons available, it's worth visiting to enjoy a leisurely meal.

This was my first time visiting since the COVID-19 measures were put in place. To prevent the spread of the virus, items in small dishes are covered with film, and there are a few items that you have to serve yourself. Wearing gloves and masks is mandatory. Perhaps because it was a weekday lunch, we were seated with enough space between tables, which made for a relaxing experience. As for the buffet, the flavors are mostly light and vegetable-based. There is a wagon service, and we were even served French toast (see photos). I felt like there were slightly fewer dessert options compared to my previous visit. Overall, I came for the side dishes and left satisfied! The cost performance is excellent. It seems like you can't order only fried shrimp for the freshly fried tempura, as they come in sets of several items, so you might not be able to eat a lot of them. If you want to eat vegetables cost-effectively, this place is highly recommended.

After leaving the beauty salon, I went to a natural food buffet that I had been curious about for a while. I had made a reservation the day before, so I was able to enter smoothly. They had reduced the number of seats and everyone was wearing masks and gloves, with each dish individually portioned. The buffet mainly featured Japanese cuisine and it was very delicious. The age range was diverse, with fewer people in their 20s and more families, couples, and individuals. Perhaps due to being located in a hotel, many patrons were calm and I was able to leisurely enjoy the buffet alone. I highly recommend the pumpkin soup! If I had one request, as a fruit and dessert lover, I would have been even happier if there were more options in that department!

They have reopened the buffet with thorough infection control measures in place. I wanted to support this restaurant, so I decided to visit after a long time. Here are some of the infection control measures they have implemented for the buffet: - Customers must wear masks and gloves when going to the buffet table. - Many dishes are individually portioned in small bowls (covered with a small piece of plastic). - Plastic curtains are placed in front of the dishes. - Hand sanitizing and temperature checks are done before entering the restaurant. There are partitions between each table. I visited around noon on a weekday. The restaurant was about 60-70% full, with no crowding at the buffet table. The tables were spaced apart, creating a comfortable dining environment. The number of small plates and bowls has increased, and the staff's workload has also increased. Despite this, the variety of vegetable and dessert options was still abundant, and freshly fried tempura was served at each table by the staff. Additionally, there was a new table-side service where staff members would come around with a cart offering different dishes each day (on this day, it was French toast). The weekday buffet had no time limit and cost 1690 yen per adult. I enjoyed dessert and coffee after my meal and left after spending a leisurely 2 and a half hours. The restaurant is putting in a lot of effort, and I will definitely visit again to support them.

I came to this lunch buffet for the first time in a while, and it's a reasonable price of 1690 yen including tax. They have taken thorough measures against COVID-19, with guests wearing vinyl gloves when taking buffet dishes. There are a variety of dishes available in individual servings, making it easy to take. The buffet has a lot of Japanese-style dishes, including white rice dumpling soup, which is a nice touch. For dessert, there are mini cakes, pudding, coffee jelly, and fruits like oranges and melons. The drink bar is included in the price, which is convenient. They quickly clear away empty dishes and provide good service. It's nice that there is no time limit for weekday lunches, so you can enjoy your meal at your own pace. I liked it so much that I ended up going twice in a short period. Since there are many healthy vegetable-based dishes, even those on a diet can enjoy the buffet without worrying too much about carbs. I would love to visit again when I feel like having a buffet experience.

I visited for lunch at a quite spacious restaurant. The only option for ordering is the lunch buffet for 1,690 yen (tax included). The buffet table has dishes individually plated and covered with plastic wrap, showing that they are taking thorough measures against COVID-19. This makes us feel safe while dining. The food is mainly Japanese cuisine, and even if you eat a lot, you feel a little less guilty. Despite being Japanese cuisine, there are freshly fried tempura and curry, which are very satisfying. Moreover, they bring freshly fried tempura to your table. I ended up eating too much. Thank you for the meal.

On New Year's Day this year, we enjoyed a special breakfast of traditional Japanese New Year's dishes, but since we couldn't prepare a wide variety of osechi dishes at home, we decided to visit the lunch buffet at "Hyakusai Kenbi Akebino Mi" at Ochanomizu Hotel Juraku. The hotel entrance was decorated with a splendid kadomatsu, creating a festive atmosphere. "Hyakusai Kenbi Akebino Mi" is a restaurant located within the hotel, offering buffet-style meals from morning till night. As the name suggests, the buffet mainly consists of dishes made from carefully selected ingredients such as meat, fish, and vegetables, catering to both those who prefer vegetable-based dishes and those who prefer meat and fish. We had heard that they were serving osechi dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on New Year's Day, so we made a reservation for the lunch buffet. In terms of COVID-19 prevention measures, the restaurant had taken strict precautions, which made us feel comfortable dining there. The restaurant operated on a reservation-only basis, with lunchtime divided into two sessions during the New Year period. The number of reservations seemed limited, and the central floor of the restaurant was mostly empty to ensure social distancing. Each table was equipped with acrylic dividers for droplet prevention, and near the buffet area, guests were required to wear masks and vinyl gloves. The dishes on the buffet table were individually portioned in small plates, and there were acrylic shields placed over the dishes, which further reassured us of the safety measures in place. The review then goes on to describe the various dishes served at the buffet, including traditional osechi dishes, warm dishes, salads, bread, rice, soups, and a drink bar. The warm dishes were kept hot to maintain their temperature, and there was a wide variety of dishes for guests to enjoy. Additionally, the salad bar offered a selection of fresh vegetables and pickles, catering to different tastes. The bread corner had three types of bread, with a toaster available for guests to toast their bread. The review also mentions the soup options, including a sweet potato potage and a white bean soup with mochi. The drink bar had a range of cold and hot beverages, providing a refreshing selection for guests. Overall, the review highlights the delicious and diverse offerings at the buffet, as well as the thorough COVID-19 prevention measures taken by the restaurant to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.

This is a buffet featuring vegetable-centered dishes with a focus on health. The dishes are made without the use of chemical seasonings or food additives. The flavors are light and clearly aimed at being good for the body. Tempura platters are prepared upon request at the table. They also offer sushi and roast pork. For drinks, they have 100% fruit juices, organic coffee, and health teas. All of this for 2950 yen (tax included). It's an all-you-can-eat buffet that is kind to both the body and mind. The restaurant also offers a view of the train from inside, which children would likely enjoy.

My wife and I enjoyed a hotel lunch buffet while being cautious. Before entering, we had our temperature checked and sanitized our hands. It felt reassuring to wear masks and gloves when getting food. The dishes were mostly in small portions, which made them look neat and easy to pick up. The tempura was freshly fried at the table, and we couldn't resist getting seconds. We both love tempura! The curry was quite spicy, which might divide opinions. My wife found it a bit too much. Overall, the food was delicious, although some dishes were a bit too salty at times. Our favorite this time was the stuffed cabbage rolls! They were tender and not too overpowering in flavor - we had seconds of those too. Using points made the meal quite cost-effective. We had a great time dining. Thank you for the meal.

I experienced a Japanese food buffet at Akebi no Mi (Akihabara) for the first time in a while! I realized that my Jalan coupon worth 2,000 yen would expire at the end of October. I noticed this the day before yesterday, and since everyone else was busy and couldn't use it, my wife made a reservation for me. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of Ochanomizu Hotel Juraku. The lunch buffet is 1,690 yen for 90 minutes. Since they can't process the remaining balance of the coupon, I could use it by paying an additional 90 yen. In total, I saved 804 yen after considering the transportation cost of 796 yen. When I arrived at the reserved time of 1:30 pm, a staff member called my name. They measured my temperature with a non-contact thermometer and guided me to my seat after disinfecting my hands. The restaurant operates with spaced-out seating as a COVID-19 precaution. I received an 11-minute explanation on how to use the buffet. They seemed to be taking thorough COVID-19 prevention measures. When getting food, it was mandatory to wear the disposable gloves provided by the restaurant and to wear a mask. Tempura was not self-serve, but rather ordered from the staff. When requesting a refill, you had to call a staff member. Now, let's start the buffet! There were various Japanese side dishes lined up on the counter. It felt like a Japanese-style breakfast buffet at a luxury hotel... There were many Japanese-style side dishes that I don't usually eat at home, all lined up in small plates. They were taking great care in preparing them. Each item had a thin sheet on top for splash prevention, and items like fried chicken and pumpkin balls were individually packaged in small paper bags for easy picking. Furthermore, even though tongs were not provided, and you had to use a ladle to serve curry rice, you had to move the ladle to a used box after each use. It was evident that they were putting in a lot of effort to maintain hygiene. Now, onto the dishes. The buffet included a variety of drinks like coffee and juice, but I mainly stuck with oolong tea. The Japanese side dishes were not something I usually eat, as I prefer Western cuisine, but it was fun to try different things! There was only tempura available as a main dish, which was ordered from the staff. It felt a bit lacking that there were no main dishes in the buffet corner... There were three types of bread among the Japanese side dishes, which was a bit surprising. The chef's recommended curry could be paired with white rice or five-grain rice, but the curry itself was light and not very appealing. Among the many understated side dishes, my favorite was the aged sweet vinegar sauce. It was served in small pieces, with crispy fried flounder pieces and a sweet sauce that complemented each other perfectly! Every time I went for a refill, I made sure to keep this dish. I ate too much! But there were also desserts, with several homemade puddings that were delicious! Most importantly, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, buffet-style dining that was previously considered dangerous! They were taking such great care, and I could feel their sincere efforts. I think many privately-owned restaurants are blaming the government for not taking any precautions, but not all buffet-style dining is dangerous! I felt that this establishment was sincerely dedicated to their customers, and the food was delicious. I'm not a fan of Japanese food in general, but I want to support this restaurant!

Unlimited time is amazing. The hotel buffet is very hygienic, so you can feel at ease. When getting food, make sure to wear a mask and transparent gloves provided by the restaurant. Each food item is covered with a clear sheet or cup, so it's safe. The tempura is freshly fried and delicious. If you order at your table, they will bring it to you every time (freshly fried, of course). It was relaxing and enjoyable, so I want to go again.

After about a year and a half, I visited the Tea Water Hotel Jura Ku Hyakusai Kenmi Akebi no Mi buffet lunch. It seems they are celebrating their 12th anniversary this month. Comparing it to my last visit, I noticed that the variety has decreased, especially the charcoal-grilled fish is no longer available, which is a bit disappointing. However, I understand that preparing all these dishes must be quite challenging, and there are plenty of healthy vegetable dishes and Japanese cuisine options. I entered at 12 pm and could stay until the lunch ended at 3 pm, so I am satisfied. The tempura was still delicious and freshly fried. The French toast was okay. The pumpkin soup was my favorite of the day, and I was happy to have plenty of it.***********************************The restaurant has implemented the following measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus: - Request for temperature check and alcohol disinfection upon entry - Request to wear a mask when away from the table - Use of small dish covers, some lids, and film covers for dishes - Installation of splash prevention covers on food stations - Request to wear a mask and gloves when serving food - Restrictions on reservation times and prohibition of using adjacent seats***********************************I could see that they are very mindful of infection prevention measures, and I felt safe visiting the restaurant. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.
