Visited around 8 pm on a Friday afternoon. There were only 1 or 2 seats available and I was able to enter without waiting. I was in the mood for a little bit of delicious meat, so the style of being able to order just one piece at a time was perfect for me. So, I decided to order only A5 rank meat.
- Zabuton: A large, thick cut of Zabuton. It had just the right amount of fat and looked delicious. It was indeed delicious with a full mouthfeel and a soft, melting fat.
- Sangarachi: Two small cuts of Sangarachi. It was slightly thinner compared to other meats, but it enhanced the tenderness and the meat disappeared in my mouth very quickly. It was exquisite.
- Katashin: The thickest cut I ordered. Since it had a lot of fat, it cooked quickly and I quickly removed it from the grill, but the inside was a bit cold...! However, it was a tender and delicious meat.
- Misuji: A slightly flat, large cut of Misuji. It was also a tender and juicy meat that didn't seem like lean meat at all.
- Ichibo: This meat also had a lot of fat and didn't seem like lean meat. I really like it, but it might be better to order something that doesn't seem like lean meat.
All the meats were of high quality and didn't lose out to high-end yakiniku restaurants. The only disappointing thing was the salt. The pinkish fine-grained salt looked delicious at first glance, but when I dipped the meat in it, it stuck too much and became too salty. It also seemed to have some kind of additive, giving it a taste of artificial seasoning. The sauce was the usual delicious sauce, but with such delicious meat, I would like to enjoy the natural flavor of the ingredients with simple rock salt. The meat was really good, so I would like to bring my own salt next time...!
For 5 pieces of high-quality A5 meat, the total was 1500 yen. This restaurant advertises that you can enjoy delicious meat at half price, and indeed, if you order a 5-piece assortment of this quality of meat at another restaurant, it would cost more than double. The quality of the meat is really high. Just the salt is needed! Even regular store-bought rock salt would be fine! If that happens, it's a perfect score of 120 points. Thank you for the meal.

Today is the festival in Ikebukuro! Fukuro Festival has begun! As someone born and raised in Ikebukuro, I couldn't miss it. For lunch, I had yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) ( *´・ω)/(;д; ) I usually go to a high-quality A5 yakiniku restaurant, but recently I decided to try a cheaper version. I left the quality to other restaurants and focused on quantity, devouring 250g of meat. It may be cheap, but as long as it's meat, it's good enough for me. After satisfying my hunger, I headed to the festival venue.

I worked hard for a while and decided to visit 2-3 places by myself! But ended up meeting drinking buddies, so it turned into a pre-party (0th party) haha. We went to a yakiniku place, yakitori place, a neo-style bar, and my favorite yakiton place in a row, but the first place was a bit disappointing! I used to visit this place often before, but it had been a while since I last went there, even before the pandemic. At this place, you must try the tongue stew, frozen curry, frozen sour or highball. It would be nice if they also had regular cuts of fillet. It had been a while, but thank you for the meal!

I visited this restaurant during my solo trip to Tokyo at night. It was near my hotel, so I decided to drop by on a whim, and I'm glad I did. As a solo female diner, I arrived around 8pm and there were two parties ahead of me. I didn't have to wait long, about 15 minutes, before I could get a table. The Kalbi set was reasonably priced at 780 yen, but since it was a special trip, I decided to order the A5 grade 11-piece assortment for 3600 yen. I was worried about the portion size, so I asked the staff, and they told me it was about 180g. The assortment included some lean cuts as well as some rare cuts, which was a nice surprise. I didn't order rice, but I found the meal to be filling enough. There were no other female diners, but I felt comfortable and enjoyed my meal in a welcoming atmosphere.

Holiday 1:15 PM. Even though it's 15 minutes before closing time, customers keep coming in one after another at this small counter-only yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant. It's clearly designed for solo diners. As a first-time visitor, they explain the types of meat, recommendations, and how to order. I couldn't catch everything they said due to their fast-paced speech, but I managed to place my order.
Recommended set: Misono Light Set 7 - Kalbi and A5 Wagyu Set 200g. Note that A5 Wagyu is only included in sets 7 and 8. The Kalbi meat quality is not great, tough and chewy. However, the A5 Wagyu is delicious with a rich flavor covered by the sauce. The garlic flavor is strong and tasty. The sesame oil soup with green onions, seaweed, and meat scraps is surprisingly good. The seasoned bean sprouts are also delicious. All for 1580 yen. Overall satisfaction is average. It's best to order a set with only A5 meat without hesitation. The table is narrow, and the grill is very close, so be careful of getting your clothes dirty. I wonder if they provide aprons? No one was wearing one, so I didn't ask, but they might have given me one if I had. There was no water served, but they might have provided it if I had asked. This place requires a proactive approach. It's convenient for a quick and meat-focused meal. Thank you for the meal!

After finishing my business in Ikebukuro, I decided to treat myself with a solo meal at a yakiniku restaurant. I love yakiniku and enjoy eating it alone or with others, so a restaurant specializing in solo dining was perfect for me. I like to try different flavors, so I appreciated being able to order just one piece of meat at a time. I was curious about the different cuts of meat, so I ordered an 11-piece assortment along with the cheapest tongue cut and a beer. All the meat was delicious. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable, with many solo diners, including a lot of women. I look forward to returning and trying more items on the menu next time.

When it comes to solo yakiniku in Ikebukuro, I went to Misono. It was my first time, so I was taught the system and ordered the special 11-item platter. Well, the meat was delicious. I also ordered the kimchi and added harami and liver. The liver was really good. I ended up having three glasses of draft beer. Since the meat is not marinated, those who find it lacking may want to dip it in sauce before grilling. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

After picking up a piece of sushi, I decided to have a drink here, where I was directed to a counter seat in a small section of the restaurant. I ordered various cuts of Wagyu beef one by one, starting with the Harami. The fat of the Wagyu Harami was noticeable, but some parts were a bit tough. Next, I tried the Ichibo, which was a little tough. Then, I ordered the Kaonomi, which is my favorite cut. It's unrelated, but I once tried Kaonomi from Australia, and it had a strong smell. It made me realize that cuts near the internal organs can have a distinct flavor. Now, let's move on to the next item.

I visited the restaurant around 1:10 PM on Sunday. Since it was close to the last order time, there were no other customers. The staff confirmed that the last order was at 1:30 PM, but it was no problem for me as I had decided on the lunch plate. I was hungry and started eating without taking photos, but the set included rice, soup, kimchi, assorted meats, and barley tea. I felt there wasn't enough meat, so I ordered an additional set of tongue. The meat ranged from fatty to lean, and was tender and juicy. The rice was soft, and the soup was a bit salty. The staff extended the last order time, perhaps because I was discussing whether to order more meat while eating. They were very kind and offered to help with anything I needed.

This is a yakiniku restaurant for solo diners. It is located about a 3-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station North Exit. The restaurant is relatively small. The quality of the meat matches the price. It's nice that you can try various cuts of meat in small portions, but I wish they had better ventilation as the restaurant can get smoky. The photos show a regular gas grill, so...

I visited around 6:30 PM on a weekday and was seated immediately. I ordered the assorted 11 kinds of yakiniku, Chateaubriand, tongue, and oolong tea for 4,980 yen. The taste was average, not incredibly delicious. The meat didn't feel particularly light in terms of fat content. Maybe I visited on a bad day.

I ordered 2 pieces of fillet for 800 yen, 2 pieces of top sirloin for 1280 yen, and 4 pieces of zabuton for 1480 yen. The large rice was 370 yen. I didn't have high expectations since they used a gas-fired roaster instead of charcoal. They were also out of Chateaubriand, which was disappointing. The fillet looked a bit worn out even before cooking, and the taste was not impressive. The top sirloin was just average, despite being labeled as "top quality." The zabuton was similar in quality to the sirloin, even though it was priced twice as much. The rice was also not tasty, which was a big letdown. I was hoping to find a place where I could casually enjoy good quality meat, but it turned out to be different. Overall rating: 3.0

I went to a yakiniku restaurant alone and had a great time. The A5 rank meat was delicious! I had 2 bottles of beer, 1 highball, 6 slices of A5 meat, namul, cucumber tataki, and kimchi, all for ¥5,250. I'll definitely visit again.

It's a small yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant where you sit at the counter. The meat is served in single cuts, allowing you to enjoy various cuts of meat. It's a good place to discover your favorite cuts. As for cost performance, it's something to consider...

I was in the mood for some meat and wanted to eat quickly, so I searched for a yakiniku restaurant that seemed easy to enter alone. I found a place with great quality meat at affordable prices. I feel energized and ready to work hard tomorrow. My luck has also improved.

I recently treated my hard-working mother to a reward, so I visited my local area, Ikebukuro, for a bookstore tour. I had a solo yakiniku lunch at Misono, where I enjoyed their lunch special with 11 different types of meat and a cold glass of beer. The complimentary bean sprout namul and the chilled glass of beer were delicious! I cooked the A5-ranked meat to my liking on the tabletop grill at the counter. The meat was tender and juicy, bursting with flavor. When I saw the bill, I was pleasantly surprised. The only downside was that the tabletop grill was large and took up space at the counter. Overall, it was a great meal. Thank you for the feast!

Visited for Saturday lunch, lured in by the A5 grilled meat half-price deal at the entrance for 1,700 yen. At first, I thought the portion of meat was a bit small, but considering the taste, I'm satisfied with the price. In addition to the meat, rice, oolong tea, kimchi, and soup are included. The interior of the restaurant only has a counter, and the seats at the back are right next to the aisle, so larger individuals may feel bothered when people pass behind them while eating. I was seated at the farthest seat, so I was fine while eating, but I had to be careful when leaving.

August 29th is the once-a-year Yakiniku Day. Normally, I would invite my friends for some barbecue, but due to the current situation, I decided to go solo. I visited a niche restaurant that targets solo diners. I arrived at 11:30 am on a Sunday and was seated at the counter. The staff asked if it was my first time there, and after confirming, they explained the ordering system. I was feeling thirsty, so I ordered a barley juice. The concept of the restaurant is that you can order A5 rank meat by the piece. I started with the "Tongue Assortment", which included three different types of tongue meat. Next, I ordered the "Lean Meat Assortment", as I prefer lean meat over fatty meat to avoid stomach discomfort. The assortment included different cuts of lean meat, each with a unique texture and flavor. I then chose the "Liver and Harami" from the daily hormone selection. I cooked the liver carefully to ensure it was not overcooked. The harami was tender with just the right amount of fat. For chicken, I selected the "Chicken Thigh", which had a good amount of fat that melted away when cooked, making it a refreshing choice. Finally, I chose the "Pork Belly" as the main dish. It was a marbled cut that was flavorful and slightly chewy. Although I considered ordering curry, I decided to finish my meal. Overall, the restaurant is a good option for solo diners, and they also offer affordable lunch sets. It may be a bit pricey for a solo diner, but it's worth trying out the lunch sets for a more budget-friendly option.

I had the lunch set menu. It includes 6 types of meat, 2 pieces each, with rice, bean sprout salad, and soup, along with a soft drink. There are lean and marbled cuts, perfect for when you want to eat light and delicious yakiniku. Thank you for the meal.

I came to the solo yakiniku restaurant "Bisono" that I had been curious about for a while. I visited in the early afternoon and sat at the counter by myself. Cheers with a bottle of beer! I ordered a great value set. The grilled tongue I ordered as a single item was amazing!!! I also tried Carnivor, a black wine for meat, and it was delicious. I would like to visit again.
