I had never tried the noodles from the Matsufukuya group, so I decided to go to Ramen Street. It was crowded with people at Tokyo Station that day, and all the shops were busy. I chose the Salted Egg Ramen for 1000 yen by purchasing a meal ticket in advance, and after waiting for about 5 minutes, my bowl arrived. When I tasted the soup, I could feel the complex flavors of shrimp and seafood, with a very well-balanced taste. The saltiness was also distinct. The chashu had a flavor similar to the red yeast used in Chinese cuisine. The powdered shrimp on top of the green onions enhanced the shrimp flavor. The seaweed also added a nice touch. It was a well-balanced bowl with a mix of lightness and complexity, where you could still clearly taste the saltiness. It was a delicious meal!

I chose "Hirugao" as the 6th shop on Tokyo Ramen Street. I ordered their popular No.1 menu, the "Salt Ramen Hirugao Mori". Let's start with the soup. It has a gentle salt flavor with a strong seafood broth, especially the shrimp flavor. The toppings include pork chashu, boiled egg, small shrimp, white onions, menma, seaweed, and shrimp powder sprinkled on top. The noodles are thin with a high water content, which pairs well with the salt soup. I finished the whole bowl. It was delicious. Perfect for a morning ramen. Known as a popular salt ramen shop from the famous "Setagaya" brand, I enjoyed a tasty salt ramen at Hirugao on Tokyo Ramen Street on September 24, 2023.

I visited around 5 pm on Saturday. There was a line, but it moved quickly and I was able to enter in about 5 minutes. I purchased a meal ticket and then lined up. I chose the white broth salted egg ramen. The soup was thick and the noodles coated well. The little bit of seaweed added a nice touch. It was delicious.

After finishing a meeting with colleagues, we quickly stopped by a ramen shop. It was not crowded, so we were seated right away at Tokyo Station's Ramen Street. My colleague wanted something light, so I questioned if ramen was the right choice. They ended up choosing the basic salt ramen, while I opted for the creamy white broth salt ramen with an egg. The toppings included chashu, bamboo shoots, green onions, egg, and seaweed. The seaweed added a nice touch, and I regretted not adding more. I noticed that there was a shrimp on top of the egg yolk. The soup had a strong flavor that would go well with rice. The noodles were smooth and easy to eat, and I finished my bowl quickly. We had to rush to our next location, but I would choose the basic salt ramen if I were to eat there again. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I entered a restaurant in Tokyo Ramen Street located underground at Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit. I avoided the crowded shops and chose one with a short line. I had the Shio Tamago Ramen for 1,040 yen, which had thin straight noodles with a seasoned egg and shrimp on top. It was a light and satisfying option.

Visited at 10:00 on Saturday, lined up as the third person, and used a food ticket system that can be paid with a transportation IC card. Bought a food ticket before lining up. On the table, there were condiments such as red pepper, pepper, vinegar, and soy sauce. Ordered salt ramen with the "hirugao" size, which includes 2 shrimp wontons, 2 slices of chashu, half-boiled egg, seaweed, menma, and white leeks. The thin noodles were delicious with a transparent salt soup. #SaltRamen #TokyoStationGourmet #Ramen #RamenClub #Ramen #TokyoStation #TokyoRamenStreet

Today is the first day of summer vacation. I arrived at Tokyo Station a little early and decided to have ramen for breakfast. I chose salt ramen. The tsukemen was very filling, with chewy noodles. The soup had lots of small clams in it, and it was very delicious. I may have eaten a little too much for breakfast, but I feel energized now.

I visited Ramen Street at Tokyo Station for the first time! I was looking for Rokurinsha, but the line was too long... I was too hungry to wait! So, I decided to try Hiryu nearby. I found out after entering that it is actually a sister store of Setagaya. I ordered the hot tsukemen and it was delicious! The broth was flavorful with a nice saltiness and plenty of nori. There were also lots of scallop-like pieces in it, giving it a rich taste. The meat was a bit on the tough side, with a miso-like flavor. Some people might have mixed feelings about it. The staff were friendly and even asked if I wanted to use their apron, making the dining experience pleasant. I will definitely visit again!

I visited Hirugao Tokyo Station branch. It is a ramen shop located in Ramen Street at Tokyo Station. I went around 9:30 pm on a Friday night and there were about 8-10 people in line, but I was able to sit in about 10 minutes as the turnover was fast. The interior of the shop has a unique smell. I ordered the Hirugao Mori Ramen (1240 yen) which is topped with everything in a salt flavor. In addition to chashu, menma, and egg, it also had shrimp wontons. The soup was a light salt flavor but with the umami of clams, I drank it all up. Thank you for the meal.

At Yae-Chika in Tokyo Station, there is a salt ramen specialty shop called Hirugao. It was full, but the turnover was fast, so I was able to be seated without much of a wait. The ramen was served in about 5 minutes. There was a unique smell that I hadn't encountered in other shops. I wonder why there is a small shrimp on top of the seasoned egg... The soup was clear and had a nice aroma. It had a scallop flavor, which is not common in ramen. I later found out that it was made with scallop broth. I have eaten scallops quite often, but this was my first time trying scallop ramen. It was delicious, but had a distinctive taste. The noodles were thin curly noodles, slightly firm and matched well with the soup. The bamboo shoots, which I usually dislike, were hardly noticeable here with just a few thin pieces. They had a mild taste and were easy to eat. The seaweed had a strong seaweed aroma. It was good quality seaweed, but even though the portion was small, it stood out more than the soup. The chashu was average, with a slight unpleasant smell and didn't taste very good. It didn't complement the soup, so it wasn't necessary. Overall, there was a bit of inconsistency, but the noodles and soup were delicious.

I visited around 9 PM on a weekday. There were only about 3 people in line so I was able to enter quickly. Surprisingly, there were many foreign staff members. The food came out quickly after ordering, which was a good impression. The taste was on the lighter side. Honestly, it wasn't good enough for me to want to eat it again.

I accompanied my mother to a restaurant in Gransta around 15:30 after running errands. Despite not being hungry (we had omurice and sandwich at 13:00), I couldn't resist ordering their recommended lunch set. The restaurant was full and there was a line forming, which is rare for me. The clear salt soup had a gentle and light flavor, almost like shellfish. The thin noodles were smooth and slurp-worthy. The char siu was juicy and tender, one piece was so soft you could almost chew it with your gums. There were two types of char siu. The wonton was large and tender, with a ginger-flavored sauce and a plump shrimp inside. Overall, the ramen was gentle and delicious!

Located in Tokyo Station Yaesu Underground Shopping Street, this shop is always crowded during lunchtime. I arrived before the peak time, but it was still a bit busy. Today, I had the salt ramen lunch set. The toppings included chashu, egg, green onions, menma, as well as seaweed and wontons. When I tried the soup, it was delicious. I could taste the umami of seafood, and upon further research, it seems scallops and other shellfish are used. It was so tasty that I could keep drinking the soup forever. Thank you for the meal.

Upon returning from my overseas trip in July 2023, the first thing I wanted to eat was ramen. I had hoped to visit Ajisai, famous for its Hakodate salt ramen, in January, but it seemed to be a limited-time pop-up shop and I couldn't find it. So, I decided to try the ramen at this restaurant instead. I chose the top recommended ramen on the ticket machine and waited in line for my turn. Surprisingly, the wait wasn't as long as I had expected. I was seated at a table for two and my ramen arrived shortly after. The soup was a golden, translucent color with a slightly sweet taste. The toppings included small shrimp, boiled egg, menma, dried seaweed, two types of chashu, and shrimp wontons. The noodles were thin. It had been a while since I had eaten ramen, and I really enjoyed it. It would have been even better with some spicy oil.

Located in Tokyo Station's Ramen Street, this ramen shop is always bustling with customers at the counter and table seats. I ordered the salt tsukemen. The soup has a strong flavor, with a sharp saltiness. The noodles are flat and smooth, with a satisfying texture. The noodles and soup blend well together, and it's delicious, but I found myself getting a bit tired of it towards the end. I wish the chashu and seasoned egg were a bit more impressive.

A shop at Tokyo Station Ramen Street. The unique and strange smell inside the shop or maybe from the counter seat I happened to sit at caught my attention. The ramen itself is delicious. The chashu and wonton are particularly worth the price. The texture of the green onions and the richness of the soup complement each other well.

It is a small shop inside Tokyo Ramen Street. You buy a food ticket and line up, but they guide you so you can enter smoothly. I had the creamy white broth salted egg ramen, which was lighter than it looked and tasted delicious with the seaweed. I was also curious about the parent and child rice bowl, but the ramen was filling, so I gave up.

Hello! This is Kuidaore Ningyou (Doll) Nitaritai 2! This time, I visited "Hirugao Tokyo Station Store". This shop is located in a corner of Tokyo Station's Ramen Street. I visited on a weekday evening. The place was crowded with about 10 people waiting in line, and I had to wait for about 15 minutes before entering. It seems like everywhere gets busy in the evening. Today's menu: Salt Tsukemen Hirugao Mori (1340 yen). Since it was quite hot that day, I ordered the tsukemen. The noodles were straight and flat, easy to eat with the light salt flavor. The soup was a rich and punchy chicken broth with a slightly strong saltiness. The set included seasoned egg, chopped chashu, wonton, and thick menma. There were about 5 thick slices of pork shoulder chashu, perfectly seasoned. I was amazed to find a shrimp inside one of the seasoned eggs. The staff were very attentive and the service was good. The prices were a bit on the higher side. I would like to try the "Salt Ramen Hirugao Mori" next time. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I came back to Tokyo on the Shinkansen at night. I decided to eat ramen before heading home, so I came to this ramen street. I chose a ramen shop that looked delicious with wonton noodles. The wonton was shrimp wonton, but my companion couldn't eat shrimp so I ended up eating it. The ramen also had shrimp in the egg. I also had tsukemen, but I don't have a photo of it. The flat noodles were smooth and delicious.

After leaving work, I decided to stop by Ramen Street for lunch. It seems like there are more foreigners here now. I chose a light salt ramen from Hiragao because I didn't want it to affect my work later. It has been a long time since I last visited. I ordered the shrimp salt wonton noodles. The price has gone up quite a bit, 1120 yen now. I waited in line for about 5-6 minutes before being seated at the counter. The noodles were thin and slightly firm. The soup had just the right amount of salt and a hint of yuzu, making it delicious. The four wontons in the bowl left me feeling full after finishing the meal. Thank you for the meal!

On a regular day after 8:30 PM, I was able to easily find a seat. I ordered the "Creamy Shio Tamago Ramen" for 1,040 yen, and it was ready in about 5 minutes. The ramen came with a seasoned egg with shrimp attached to it. The soup was thick but light in flavor. The noodles were medium-thin and slightly curly, nothing special. The seaweed topping didn't stand out much either. Overall, it was just okay. I think the regular salt ramen might have been tastier. Also, I had a hard time understanding what the staff was saying. The atmosphere felt a bit chaotic, but I guess it's understandable given the location. Yeah, the creaminess was just average.
