七草粥
I went to eat chanko in Ginza, and I really liked the restaurant! The chanko restaurant is right next to Kanadanaka-san's place. I took the Oedo Line from Shinjuku and got off at Tsukiji Market. After some wandering around, I finally arrived at Sagasho-san's place. The entrance looked impressive, but there was no one to greet us. Huh? I saw a sign indicating to go up to the 2nd floor, so I went up the stairs and found the reception of the restaurant. The 2nd floor was the entrance, it seems. The items I ordered were as follows: Chanko Nabe (Salt) for 1 person - 3,000 yen, and Beer. The salt chanko nabe was reserved in advance for the number of people. There were other options like salt, soy sauce, and kimchi. The beautifully presented hot pot was filled with ingredients such as chicken meatballs, fresh wheat gluten, fried tofu, leeks, enoki mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, Chinese cabbage, radish, carrots, chicken, and white konjac. There were no seafood ingredients, it was more like a vegetable hot pot. The lightly salted flavor brought out the umami of the ingredients, making it a very delicious hot pot. The chicken meatballs were especially delicious. Mixing yuzu pepper into the salt chanko enhanced the flavor even more. Yuzu pepper goes really well with salt chanko. I usually only use yuzu pepper with yakitori, but it was really delicious in hot pot dishes. The yuzu pepper here was also delicious. It was a very tasty salt chanko. Considering the compatibility with yuzu pepper, I think salt chanko is the best recommendation. I remembered Kuranosuke Kizama, who I liked when I was a child. I would like to visit Kizama-san's chanko restaurant as well, but it's far in Shiga. While enjoying the chanko this day, I thought a little about Kizama Kizama. I looked at the banzuke (sumo ranking list), but I didn't see Kizama's name. I also looked for Terao's name, but it wasn't there. It might be interesting to go for lunch and try the chanko soup that comes with it. The lunch menu with chanko soup included is as follows: - Goshiki natto donburi - Kamaage shirasu donburi - Salmon and salmon roe parent and child donburi - Herbal curry (with chanko soup and drink for 1,000 yen each) (reference to website) I would like to try the special hitsumabushi set for lunch, priced at 2,300 yen (laughs)
