In a bag, there are seafood such as crabs rubbed with spicy sauce, brought to the table. The tradition at this restaurant is to eat them with your hands, which is the highlight. This restaurant, which came from Taiwan, mainly offers three types of menus: the crab-filled "Crab Combo Bag," the shrimp-based "Shrimp Combo Bag," and the lobster-filled "Lobster Combo Bag." The difference between "Crab" and "Shrimp" is not just about the presence of crabs, but also includes octopus, chicken, broccoli, and corn in the "Crab" version, with each serving for two people priced at 7,000 yen and 6,000 yen, respectively. There are seasonal limited editions as well, and this time we ordered the "Spring Course," which is a luxurious version with a mix of "Crab" and "Shrimp," along with a Banh Mi-style salad and spare ribs. The spare ribs are served with a Honey BBQ sauce, which is sweet and savory, and each bone is cut and eaten individually (a knife and fork are provided). They are tender, well-seasoned, and delicious. Just this alone seems to be enough to fill you up. The main seafood comes with three types of sauce. The standard "Signature Sauce" offers three levels of spiciness: mild, medium, and extra spicy. This time, I tried the medium spiciness, and it was quite stimulating, making beer go down smoothly. Additionally, you can choose from "Lemon Garlic" and "Beet Bourguignon" sauces, but it's best to try the representative flavor first. Eating crabs, shrimp, and even vegetables with your hands is an experience that you can't easily have elsewhere, and even if you don't eat a lot, the satisfaction level is high. There is also a showtime with the staff dancing, which raises the excitement level, but it's not really a place for leisurely conversations (also because peeling shells keeps you busy). The restaurant currently has two locations in Shinjuku and Osaka. There used to be one in Fukuoka as well, but it closed due to the pandemic. The Shinjuku location is two doors down from the Lumine Est in the East Exit building. The restaurant is popular among young people, but adults can also enjoy the robust flavors. It's a good place to have an exciting meal with close friends without being too formal. This text is from [Tokyo Totteoki!!]. If you want to see more photos, please click the link below.
