The seasonal vegetable Japanese-style salad was crunchy and delicious with tender meat. The sashimi of the day was fresh and had a nice texture. The assorted tempura had a light and crispy batter. The hot pot with chicken dumplings, Nagoya Cochin, and sesame seed was delicious, bringing out the natural flavor of the meat. The grilled Kinmedai with rich sea urchin sauce was also tasty. The udon sukiyaki made with the hot pot broth was a perfect end to the meal. It was a delightful way to finish the course with a refreshing seasonal fruit sorbet. After work, I went to this restaurant with my colleagues as it is close to the station. The private rooms allow us to talk about work comfortably, and being near the station gives us peace of mind. As a fan of chicken, I was drawn to the Nagoya Cochin chicken sign. Upon getting off the elevator, I saw the sign for the women's restroom, so I knew where it was. I sanitized my hands at the entrance and was guided to a private room. The walls between the corridor and the room were aquariums, although there were no fish swimming in them, it added a sense of luxury to the ambiance. I ordered an Energy Sour and plum wine. They had a unique selection of drinks, including Japanese sake like Kyuhei, Shirakawa, Hakkaisan, and various craft beers, making it a paradise for alcohol enthusiasts. I found the plum wine easy to drink and ordered another later. I started with a salad - steamed chicken and tofu with sesame dressing for 890 yen. The chicken and soft tofu were light and mixed well with the lettuce. Next, I had sashimi - tuna for 879 yen and amberjack for 869 yen. Despite not having high expectations for the chicken dish, it turned out to be delicious. The charcoal-grilled chicken for 869 yen was cut into large pieces and had a nice charred flavor. I also ordered the local chicken hot pot for 1429 yen and added more chicken for 879 yen. The chicken was generous, and the broth was tasty. For the finale, I had ramen for 439 yen. The large pieces of chicken were firm and delicious, and the soup was flavorful. I added more broth for the finale and enjoyed the chicken and ramen together. For dessert, I had black sugar kinako mochi for 549 yen and yuzu ice cream for 439 yen. They were light and a perfect way to end the meal. They also offer tea if requested. It was easy to get back to the JR station on my way home. Next time, I plan to try the highball and delicious fried chicken.

The sign on the building says "Uogoten," so maybe they recently changed their concept? I visited around 7:00 p.m. on a Saturday. Since all rooms are completely private, I couldn't tell how crowded it was. It seems there are about 240 seats in total. The rooms even have fish tanks, making it stylish. I chose the 4999 yen course, which includes a 3-hour all-you-can-drink option, and I added the premium all-you-can-drink option for an additional 500 yen. Here is what I ate: Course dishes: - Seasonal dish: Dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet) - Assorted chicken sashimi - Bang Bang salad - Assorted sashimi (salmon, medium fatty tuna, yellowtail, scallop, sweet shrimp) - Chicken sukiyaki (Nagoya-style) - Fried chicken wings & chicken nanban - Grilled chicken skewers - Udon with chicken - Yuzu sherbet I was completely satisfied with the abundance of local chicken dishes. On April 11, 2020, I visited this izakaya with two friends for the first time. Located near Akihabara Station, this restaurant specializes in chicken dishes, including Nagoya Cochin. The place is a hidden gem with 238 seats, making it a large establishment. Upon entering the fifth floor via elevator, we were greeted by a Western-style entrance. The interior was like a maze with private rooms and tropical fish tanks along the walls. We sat at sunken kotatsu-style seats after taking off our shoes. The appetizer (400 yen) consisted of duck prosciutto and chicken with fragrant vegetables, setting high expectations. The dishes we ordered included a sashimi platter with five types of fish (1,490 yen), fried Awaji onions (790 yen), chicken with green onion salt karaage (790 yen), Kyoto green onion tamagoyaki (690 yen), octopus with fresh wasabi (490 yen), and aged chicken sukiyaki hot pot (1,290 yen per person). The drinks we enjoyed were Asahi Extra Cold beer (690 yen), Black Nikka Freezing Highball (590 yen), and Dassai 23 Junmai Daiginjo sake (4,990 yen for 180ml). The sake was of top quality and paired well with the food. The hospitality and attention to detail at this large restaurant were impressive. The variety of chicken and fish dishes, along with a wide selection of drinks, catered to all preferences. Our overall satisfaction was high, and we had a great dining experience.

During the weekend, amidst calls for self-restraint from going out, I was summoned to the otaku holy land of Akihabara. I visited "Ishibashi," a restaurant where you can enjoy chicken dishes such as "Nagoya Cochin" and creative seafood cuisine. It is located just a 1-2 minute walk from Akihabara Station on the JR and Tsukuba Express lines, on the 5th floor of a building near the station, with a total of 238 seats available. The interior of the restaurant consists of various private rooms of different sizes that can accommodate small to large groups, with tropical fish swimming in the aquariums lining the walls of the rooms and corridors. We started with a toast with a cold glass of Asahi Super Dry Extra Cold beer! This time, we had a mini a la carte selection chosen by the restaurant (Toyama firefly squid with vinegar miso dressing, seasonal sashimi platter, tuna steak in Japanese style, Nagoya Cochin sukiyaki, and udon as the finishing touch) as well as additional dishes (fried chicken, medium fatty tuna sashimi, spicy and delicious Nagoya-style chicken wings, delicious chicken tataki, potato fries, cream cheese tempura, and savory teriyaki chicken pizza). The impressions and descriptions of each dish are included in the photos. Since the restaurant is a one-floor private rental, there is no need to worry about other customers, and the private rooms allow you to enjoy a private space without the staff wandering around unless you call them with the button. It was a recommended restaurant for those who want to enjoy a private space.

I had the opportunity to visit Akihabara in Tokyo for work, and the restaurant I visited was "Ishibashi." I went there with my colleagues for a meal. It's a Japanese izakaya located just a short walk from Akihabara Station. The atmosphere is trendy with slightly dim lighting, giving off a mature izakaya vibe. Since it was after work, we opted for the "Premium Chicken Plan - Nagoya Cochin VIP Course" for 4,999 yen with up to 3 hours of all-you-can-drink. We enjoyed dishes such as Nagoya Cochin sukiyaki hot pot, Nagoya Cochin chicken wing karaage, and grilled chicken thigh, all of which were delicious and satisfying. The chicken had a unique texture and flavor that we really enjoyed. We also had Nagoya Cochin stick chicken salad, and with the all-you-can-drink option, we had plenty of drinks to go with our meal. My friends also enjoyed the experience, so we are planning to visit again.

Date night with my boyfriend on 2/1(Sat) ❤️ After a walk around Skytree, we had ramen in Kinshicho and ended up walking 8 kilometers in total. We were pretty tired, so we decided to stop by a izakaya near the station. We arrived at 5 pm, and it was quiet and almost empty at first, but it got busier after 7 pm. They had a wide variety of dishes and drinks, perfect for a casual drink near the station ❤️ They also had a great selection of craft beers! The girls working there were cute, but it took a while for them to come over when we called and they didn't clear our plates after taking our orders. The place is a 2-minute walk from Akihabara Station. It is located on the 5th floor of a building with "Hidakaya" on the 1st floor. The single floor is quite large with 238 seats. It is smoke-free, making it convenient for families with small children. The interior is stylish, with rooms separated by aquariums. Reservation was made for 19:30 with 3 people. We ordered the Deluxe Chicken Motsunabe for 2 people (1980 yen), which was very filling. It was my first time trying a hot pot with chicken giblets. The chicken pieces were large. We also ordered a Fresh Fish Assortment with 5 types of sashimi (1490 yen), including rare fish like sand lance. It looked luxurious and tasted fresh, very satisfying. We tried the Smooth Cheese Tempura (590 yen), which lived up to its name. I personally prefer tempura over fried food. The Bara Chirashi Sushi (790 yen) was recommended by the staff and it was also generous in portion. We also had the Refreshing Cucumber (390 yen) with maple leaves for a seasonal touch. It tasted like regular cucumber. We enjoyed Super Dry Extra Cold (690 yen) and Bitter Stout (690 yen) beers. I had a sip of the Tapioca Cocktail Milk Tea (590 yen) which was delicious. There are 5 variations available. The overall cost-performance ratio was good, with the main hot pot and sashimi being worth the price. The variety of drinks, especially craft beer, pleased my beer-loving friend. The staff even chased after us to return a forgotten item, which was a nice gesture. Thank you for the meal today~

I enjoyed the Hibiki course at Da Manzoku. The appetizer was chicken breast with sea urchin sauce, which was fresh and tender! The specialty yuba dish had a beautiful presentation that made me feel the autumn vibes. The seasonal vegetable salad looked like a work of art, with silky tofu, tomatoes, and plenty of chopped green onions. The sesame dressing was delicious and I couldn't stop eating it. I chose the luxurious chicken motsunabe hot pot. It was collagen-rich with chicken offal, chicken meatballs, and plenty of vegetables, which seemed good for the skin. The three kinds of sashimi platter looked very fresh and appetizing. The sea bream, tuna, amberjack, and salted squid were all delicious and heavenly. The grilled aged chicken had a crispy texture and concentrated umami flavor, perfect for enjoying with sake. The yuzu pepper complemented it well. The crispy and juicy aged chicken nanban with sweet and spicy seasoning was my favorite. It was tasty on its own, but even better with tartar sauce, enhancing the flavor. The sliced onions on the side were refreshing without being too spicy. The motsunabe hot pot was finished with champon noodles. Even though I was full, I couldn't resist dessert! The yuzu sherbet was refreshing and had a clean taste. This course for 3,000 yen was quite a deal. The chicken and sashimi were incredibly fresh and delicious. The private room added to the experience.

Having drinks with foreign friends~♪ We went to a Japanese izakaya for the first time and toasted with draft beer. The appetizer was autumn vegetables and grilled yuba with silver bean paste. The presentation was so elaborate, like a Japanese restaurant, that my friends were impressed, but explaining everything was a bit challenging. Even though they couldn't find information on shiso, how do you explain shiso flowers? The sashimi was amazing, my friends were so impressed that they took a lot of photos. The presentation of the dishes was incredible, from the decorative radish to the bonito tataki. The staff seemed to have a playful attitude, maybe because of the approaching typhoon. The sashimi was out of this world, my friends were amazed. The aji namero and the garnish of radish were also impressive. Both the yellowtail and the tuna were excellent. The fried shrimp cutlet with micro mini tomatoes was surprising to my friends. The cream seemed to overpower the shrimp, but I prefer a stronger shrimp flavor. The agedashi tofu was delicious, especially as the weather was getting colder. Foreigners seem to like matcha, as my friend had matcha ice cream with kiwi. I opted for a tapioca cocktail as dessert. I just found out that there were foreign language menus available as well.

Had a drinking party at the izakaya "Jitokko Senmon Koshitsu Ishibashi Akihabara Honten" located on the 5th floor of Kawahatsu Building, right by the Showa-dori exit of JR Akihabara Station. We enjoyed the "Hibiki Plan" with all-you-can-drink (3,999 yen). We started with a toast with a highball. The chicken breast with sea urchin sauce was delicious, served in a stylish dish. The tofu with sauce was also good. The seasonal vegetable salad had plenty of vegetables topped with tofu, chicken, and sesame dressing. The sashimi platter included horse mackerel, amberjack, sea bream, and an extra bluefin tuna, all fresh and tasty. The chicken nanban with tartar sauce was juicy and tender. The chicken motsunabe with gin and tonic was impressive with its orange chicken skin and green leeks. The grilled aged chicken had a rich flavor and chewy texture. The lemon sour was refreshing. The champon noodles at the end were a nice finish to the meal. The seasonal vegetable sorbet with persimmon and yuzu sherbet was a delightful conclusion. Overall, the all-you-can-drink chicken motsunabe course offered great value for money.

The interior of the restaurant had a calm atmosphere, which made it enjoyable. It was a place where you could relax. The hot pot was bubbling away, creating a lively atmosphere. It was nice to warm up with well-seasoned dishes. The flavor of the chicken was delicious. The charcoal-grilled chicken needs no words, the deliciousness and aroma speak for themselves once you try it. It's a dish that you just can't help but order. The simple fried chicken was the best. It was crispy and delicious. It's different from the charcoal-grilled chicken, so you can enjoy both. The chicken broth was rich and tasty. It's a dish you'd want to eat even when you're full. There are so many ways to enjoy chicken, which is great. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I met up with friends for a drinking party after a long time, and we went to Ishibashi Akihabara Honten, a chicken specialty private room located on the 5th floor of Kawahatsu Building, just a 1-minute walk from JR Akihabara Station. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is calm and has a relaxed Japanese feel, making time flow slowly. There are many private rooms available, making it suitable for various occasions from large banquets to business entertainment. The course options ranged from 2999 yen to 4999 yen. Since it was a reunion with friends, we decided to go all out and ordered the 3-hour premium all-you-can-drink course. We started with a toast with beer. The all-you-can-drink option offered a wide variety of drinks, from sake to cocktails. The restaurant prides itself on its authentic Japanese cuisine, and the main dish of hot pot and the teriyaki chicken pizza were delicious and paired perfectly with the drinks. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful and added to the enjoyment. With a total of 10 dishes, we were satisfied with the content and ended the drinking party happily. I would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I discovered a great restaurant in Akihabara, which can be a bit hit or miss. I was torn between the spicy chicken hot pot and the motsu hot pot, the top two rice dishes. Both were delicious here. The tofu salad and tamagoyaki appetizers were well-seasoned, showing their attention to flavor. The charcoal-grilled skewers were especially tasty and highly recommended. They paired perfectly with beer. The warabi mochi dessert at the end was a refreshing way to finish the meal. It was all so delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant, and I would definitely want to come back again.

I finished the site inspection nearby and left the estimate meeting to my colleague. I decided to treat myself to some spicy coriander ramen at "Manriki" before joining the others for drinks at a nearby izakaya. It seems like they are at a place called "Jitadori Senmon Ishibashi" near Akihabara station. It's a cozy place with individual rooms decorated with tropical fish tanks on the walls. When I arrived, I found my colleagues D-kai and M-mi already there. Despite their serious expressions, I know they are a couple, and I support their relationship. We enjoyed craft beers and various dishes like salad, sashimi, grilled chicken, and caprese. Even though I was full from my ramen earlier, I enjoyed watching D-kai and M-mi enjoy their meals. As we sat in the izakaya near the stone bridge in Akihabara, I wished them happiness and a bright future together. Thank you for the meal!

A university alumni gathering in Akihabara. The restaurant was chosen for us this time. We entered the restaurant while being tempted by the maid recruitment in Akihabara. The restaurant had a stylish atmosphere with a fish tank. I arrived a little late and joined the group. Now, beer!! They serve Asahi Beer's TOKYO Sumidagawa Brewing!! Yes!! I ordered the fragrant Weizen beer. It was delicious♡ We had already ordered a few dishes, so I personally ordered some good ones: Chilled tomatoes for 490 yen, Chikuwa tempura for 490 yen, Kinmedai fish with sea urchin sauce for 790 yen, and Ume suisho (plum jelly) for around 450 yen. I started with the tomato, which was big and sweet, and I ate it as it is without mayo or salt. The Chikuwa tempura was shareable. The guys wanted more fried food, but they had to settle for a little bit. The Kinmedai fish with sea urchin sauce was a bit luxurious. Half of it was fried and the other half was served as is. I ate it while mixing the mushrooms and sea urchin sauce. And I didn't share it with anyone haha The Ume suisho was sour and delicious!! It helped me recover my energy! And then, tapioca drink!! It had coffee liqueur with tapioca!! I was the only one who had tried tapioca before. That's right. I'm different from you guys haha Everyone was excited to drink it. It was a gathering of old men from an engineering university, but in a proper private room like this, we could go back to being college students without worrying, so it was great!! It was fun!

I was suddenly invited to go drinking in Akihabara. The person inviting me was a former colleague from my single days. I hadn't been out of town recently, so I thought, why not go see their face~♪ It had been a while since I last visited Akihabara. It was a bit confusing (^_^;) The place was a building near the station with a restaurant on the 5th floor. My former colleague had already made a reservation for us. The restaurant mostly had private rooms, and the room we were guided to had a fish tank. It wasn't a live fish tank, so there were tropical fish swimming around. Obviously. The three of us gathered and toasted♪ There were several craft beers, and I chose a Cherry Rouge craft beer with a beautiful color. It had a good balance of bitterness and sweet-sour taste♪ After that, we kept drinking highballs and white wine (laughs). For food, we had chorogi salad, chikuwa isobeage, and grilled aged chicken, among others. The grilled chicken was delicious as expected! The daikon radish pickles served with it were also tasty ^_^ We drank and drank, ate a decent amount, had lively conversations with old friends, and before we knew it, 3 hours had passed! "Sorry! I live in Saitama~" "Aw, why not go for another round?" It's easy for them since they live in Tokyo. Reluctantly, I got on the Yamanote Line, with a heavy heart. Next time, I'll make them come to Saitama! It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I also felt like having sake, which paired well with the dishes. The whole experience was enjoyable, and it was a fun family drinking party after a long time. The restaurant was bustling and popular.
