Shake Shack in Omotesando is a well-known American hamburger chain. I had a late lunch here after running errands in the area. They have collaborated with Shake Shack to offer curry burgers and curry fries at all Shake Shack locations nationwide from July 26th to mid-September (tentative). This burger place has a different charm compared to others! Among high-end burgers, this one is the best by far! The buns are soft and sweet, and the patty is juicy! Not only the burgers are delicious, but the fries are also thick and crispy, perfect for someone like me who prefers thick-cut fries! I will definitely go back again!

The cleanliness of the restaurant was not great as it was near closing time. The WiFi was comfortable to use!

The patties were juicy and had that freshly grilled taste. However, I felt they were a bit small... especially for someone like me who loves to eat. I went with a friend, but even with the French fry potatoes, it didn't fill us up at all (lol). However, the price is somewhat high... We paid around 35 dollars for the two of us, including drinks. It's delicious, but in terms of cost-performance... it's a bit questionable! Still, I couldn't deny that having lunch in such a prime location in Aoyama comes with a price tag. I'll definitely come back!

There were several options like Aoyama Garden Cafe, Ki-Hachi, and Shake Shack lined up. Since the first two places had pasta lunches around 1600 yen, I opted for the more casual Shake Shack. The weather was nice, and the terrace seating was pleasant, so I thought it would be a good choice. However, it turned out to be quite expensive. I ordered a burger, fries, and chicken nuggets, and without even getting a drink, it cost me around 2400 yen. I couldn't help but think that I could have gone for a set course lunch at one of the previous places for that price. The ordering system was mainly through a tablet for electronic payments, and you wait for your order with a buzzer. The Mushroom Burger was around 1300 yen, and the sides like fries (small) were around 400 yen and chicken nuggets were around 700 yen. Looking back, the prices for the sides seemed high. The burger itself was on the smaller side, so I ended up wanting to order sides. The Mushroom Burger, a vegetarian option, was my go-to choice. It consists of a portobello mushroom filled with cheese. It was satisfying and delicious. The fries had a crispy zigzag cut and were tasty. The chicken nuggets were made with antibiotic-free chicken and had a crunchy coating. Although the food was delicious, I felt that the prices were a bit high. When I looked back at my past notes, the Mushroom Burger at the Hibiya store in 2021 was 960 yen, the cheese fries were in the 400 yen range, and the nuggets were around 600 yen. The price increase has been significant. Shake Shack, which was supposed to be a casual choice, has now become a place for indulgent burgers.

I went around 12 pm on a regular day. It was moderately busy but it seems like there should be no problem finding a seat. They have kids' chairs available and the restroom is a multipurpose one, so you can bring a stroller inside. It's child-friendly and easy to visit casually. The food was delicious.
