It's been a while since I last visited. I ordered miso ramen. The thick noodles at Asakusa Kaikarou were good. The soup is like a colloid, similar to Tenkaippin. It seems like there are melted potatoes in it. Just like Tenkaippin, the soup may be a hit or miss for some people. I prefer the classic miso ramen with a crunchy vegetable texture.

I visited this place a while ago and decided to come back for a second time. I remember having miso ramen last time, so I ordered it again this time. They use a vegetable and potato soup base, which they call "Vegipotesu." Hmm, unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the spot for me. I think the reason I waited so long to come back was because I didn't enjoy it the first time. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice though. It seems like my taste just doesn't match with theirs. Thank you for the meal.

I want to eat ramen so bad!! So after work, I went to "Nami". The rich saltiness of the veggie potage when I'm tired, combined with the perfect thickness of the noodles! I was also eager to eat the beef tendon rice, but I knew I would get too full.

I want to eat the vegetable potato ramen from Nami! So, after work, I went to Nami. I got the miso flavor with a flavored egg topping. The chewy noodles in the rich vegetable potato miso soup that you can drink all of, along with the bold chashu, make for a delicious and satisfying meal. Thank you for the meal.

At Ayasekita Station, there is a variety of ramen shops including tsukemen, chuka soba, iekei, and miso. After a disappointing experience with the top-rated tsukemen, I decided to try a place recommended by a colleague. I arrived just before noon on a weekday and there were no other customers at first, but soon a few male solo diners arrived. It was just the right amount of busy. I ordered the recommended salt ramen with extra chashu and a lunch set with boiled gyoza and rice. It was definitely more food than I expected, but I managed to finish it all. Despite feeling quite full, I skipped dinner that day. The salt ramen had a strong flavor, almost like miso, but it paired well with the thick slices of chashu. My colleague, who is a regular, mentioned that the soy sauce flavor was stronger than usual that day, but I thought it complemented the salt ramen nicely. I'm interested in trying out the other flavors next time. Thank you for the meal.

Feeling the sea, waves, and tides at Ramen Kitaiyase located here. Visited after a business trip. The interior of the store has a nice atmosphere with a sea and surfing theme. The cleanliness is well-maintained, and there are great attention to detail. The ramen has thick noodles, but the interaction with the soup was not quite there. However, the concept of focusing on waves shows the owner's passion. The finely chopped green onions likely represent waves and are neatly arranged. The simmered pork would have been perfect if the burnt parts were removed, but even without that, it was delicious. The boiled dumplings were meaty, and I would have preferred more vegetables. The best part of this place is the excellent customer service from the female staff. Their smiles and attentiveness are wonderful. Honestly, even with some minor negatives in the food, the staff's friendliness covers it up.

Today, I was craving ramen again, so I went to a place called Nami near Kita-Ayase Station. I had the miso ramen. The chewy medium-thick noodles were amazing! The rich vegetable potage soup paired perfectly with the miso flavor. The shop seems to recommend the salt ramen, but personally, I highly recommend the miso ramen. It was delicious - thank you for the meal!

Today's lunch was at Nami (Sea) located near Kita-Ayase Station. It was my first time there. The name "Nami" is written in kanji but pronounced as "Sea." It seemed stylish and trendy. From the outside, the interior was not very visible, and it seemed quiet inside. The owner, maybe with his wife, welcomed us warmly. Initially, we sat at the counter, but the owner prepared a table for two at the back. Very kind! I ordered the dipping ramen with soy sauce, which came with everything. The toppings included 5 sheets of seaweed, probably more than 3 slices of chashu, green onions, flavored egg, bean sprouts, and simmered cabbage. The dipping sauce had fried onions and some red seasoning. Inside the broth, there were small chashu pieces. The standard toppings were chashu, half-flavored egg, 1 sheet of seaweed, bean sprouts, and simmered cabbage. On the table, there were rock salt, ginger, and doubanjiang, among other condiments. I did not try the garlic crusher, but it was available. The dipping sauce was thick and had a strong soy sauce flavor. You could add yuzu peel and yuzu pepper according to your preference. The moment the bowl of noodles with all the toppings arrived, I was taken aback by its size and presentation. The noodles were thick and chewy, and the dish had a substantial weight. I wondered if I could finish it all, but I managed to eat everything. I also tried the broth separately, which was surprisingly not overpowering. Despite not knowing the weight of the noodles, the generous amount of toppings made me very full. I also tried a bit of the broth, which was thick, unlike the usual clear dipping broth. It was not too flavorful, which was a pleasant surprise. While eating, I noticed that there were quite a few customers ordering salt and miso ramen. I plan to try the miso and salt ramen on my next visit!

I knew the name of the restaurant but didn't know the location. I found it by chance when I took a different route from my usual way home from Kita-Ayase Station. I also learned for the first time that it is pronounced "Shii." When I checked on Tabelog, I found out they open at 18:30. I arrived just in time for the opening. I had no prior knowledge, so I was unsure what to order. Since I was the first customer, I decided to try the limited 5 servings of miso tsukemen for the day. When the tsukemen arrived, I was surprised by the large bowl filled with thick noodles and a big slice of chashu on top. But upon closer inspection, I noticed plenty of bean sprouts and cabbage, as well as spicy green onions on the side, which made me happy. The soup was a thick miso broth, but not overwhelmingly rich. The balance with the thick noodles was perfect. I tried the noodles on their own first and noticed a refreshing flavor that lingered in my nose. The noodles were so delicious that they could become addictive. Sometimes, I get tired of tsukemen halfway through, but this one kept me interested until the end. When I gathered the courage to ask if I could have soup refills, they said yes! They poured some warm soup into a small sake bottle for me. I finished the meal by drinking up the slightly cooled miso soup. It was a delightful dining experience. I'd like to try their salt ramen next time.

The noodles have become chewy and even more delicious! I recommend the salt, soy sauce, and miso flavors, but especially in winter, I recommend the miso flavor which pairs perfectly with the vegetable potage soup. Lately, because it's cold, miso ramen with a seasoned egg topping has become a staple. I also want to try the beef tendon rice, but I always end up feeling full from the ramen. The resort videos playing in the restaurant are surprisingly soothing, and they make me feel like going on a trip. The owner's friendly attitude is just right for me personally. I also like that there's never a line no matter when I go, even though the food is delicious.

In a residential area in Kita-Araya, there is a ramen shop called "Nami (Sea)". It's written as "Nami" but pronounced as "Sea". Today, I decided to try their popular dish, the tsukemen. There are two options available: "Tsukemen Shoyu" and "Tsukemen Miso". I chose the "Tsukemen Miso" for 980 yen. The noodles are now made with whole wheat flour for a chewier texture. The bowl is filled with thick noodles, bean sprouts, boiled cabbage, spicy green onions, and a large slice of chashu. The noodles are dipped in a thick miso broth, creating a rich and flavorful taste. The generous amount of vegetables adds a nice touch. The shop seems to be quite popular, with customers continuously coming in. The wait might be worth it for those addicted to the thick and flavorful broth!

Taste: Delicious Portion size: Average Memorable dish: Miso tsukemen Menu variety: Average Atmosphere: Average Cost performance: Average Crowdedness: Average Customer service: Average Likelihood to revisit: If there is an opportunity - The miso tsukemen has a thick and rich soup, with a miso flavor that is delicious. The noodles are thick and chewy, which is tasty. The toppings include chashu, green onions, and chili peppers in the soup, and on top of the noodles, there are chashu, cabbage, bean sprouts, and seasoned green onions. The chashu is well-seasoned and very tasty. The lunch set's water dumplings are also delicious.

I visited a ramen shop in Kita-Ayase that I had not been to before. The shop is located in a residential area a little off from Kan-Nana, near Kita-Ayase Station. It may be a bit hard to find, but there is parking available, which is convenient for those coming by car. When I entered the shop, the menu was written on a surfboard... According to reviews, the owner is a surfer. The shop's name "Nami (Sea)" makes sense. The shop's recommended dish is the "Shio" ramen, but based on reviews, the "Miso" ramen seemed to be popular, so I ordered the "Miso Ramen for 800 yen" and the lunch special "Water dumplings + rice for 100 yen". The soup looked quite rich and thick in color... It was indeed a bit salty and had a thick consistency. Maybe not really suitable for older people... The noodles were medium-thick straight noodles from Asakusa Kaikarou, with a good chewy texture. The chashu was quite salty, and the "water dumplings" from the lunch special had a unique flavor that some might not like. When it came time to pay, I didn't have exact change, so I handed over a ten thousand yen bill... I was asked if I didn't have any change, but I didn't, that's why I gave the ten thousand yen bill... I felt like there could have been a better way to ask. Personally, it seems like this shop wasn't a good fit for me.

After visiting Viva Home in Adachi-ku Kameari, my wife and I went to Nami (Sea) in Kita-Ayase. It was our first visit. We arrived around 2 pm. We parked our car in the private parking lot of a nearby store (3 spaces) and entered the restaurant. There were no other customers. We used alcohol to disinfect our hands and took our seats. I ordered tsukemen with extra char siu, while my wife ordered regular tsukemen. Our orders arrived in about 5 minutes. Even the regular tsukemen came with half a boiled egg, one slice of char siu, boiled cabbage, and bean sprouts. The noodles had a nice sweetness to them and were delicious. The char siu was tender and tasty. However, I found the dipping sauce a bit salty. I crushed two garlic cloves from the counter and added them to the sauce, which gave it a nice kick. I wish it had been more flavorful from the start. When settling the bill, the owner recommended trying their salt ramen next time. We plan to revisit to try that salt ramen. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Nami (Sea) with a colleague from work. It was a weekday night so there were no other customers. I ordered the miso ramen for 750 yen. After about 10 minutes, the ramen was served. The soup had a delicious combination of miso sweetness and dashi umami. It was thick and flavorful. The noodles were thick and curly, chewy and had a high viscosity which allowed the soup to cling well to them. The chashu was thick and had a good texture. When I dipped the bean sprouts and cabbage in the soup, it all came together as a satisfying dish. There were many options on the menu, so I would like to try other varieties next time. It was a delicious meal!

I found a quick lunch spot on the way to my destination by searching on Google and it turned out to be just what I was looking for, so I decided to go in. There was a parking lot right next to it, which was convenient. The lunch was in a new area for me, but I was glad to have found a good restaurant. I ordered the tsukemen with handmade chashu topping. Initially, I was going to get the limited cold pork ramen, but when I tried to add the handmade chashu, the owner kindly recommended that a regular tsukemen or ramen would go better with it. I followed the recommendation and it was the right choice. There were options like beef tendon curry, so I could tell they were confident in their meat dishes. And it was the right choice indeed. When the dish arrived, I was surprised to see the thick slices of chashu taking up half of the bowl, it was really substantial. I first tried the vegetables dipped in the broth, which had a unique and intense flavor. It had a curry-like taste and the slightly spicy, thick broth mixed with bonito flakes was interesting and tasty. Then I dipped the thick noodles and enjoyed the firm texture. Next, I tried the chashu. It was incredibly tender, easily falling apart with chopsticks, and melted in my mouth. It was one of the best chashu dishes I've had in a while. Delicious. I made sure not to splash the broth as I savored the chashu and noodles, and before I knew it, I had finished the whole bowl. It was a great meal. If I have the chance to visit the area again, I would like to try a different menu item.

On Saturday morning, I had a regular check-up in Kumano-mae, Arakawa-ku. I planned to go to a BM shop in Akasaka, Minato-ku after that, but couldn't due to urgent matters. On my way back, I wanted to eat thick soba noodles in Umeshima, Adachi-ku, but all the coin parking lots were full. So, I decided to head to the "Nitori Dining" at "Nitori" in Umeshima, Adachi-ku, which was featured on TV in the morning, but there was a line of about 30 people, so I gave up. I ended up driving along the Kandai and reaching Kita-Ayase! This restaurant, "Nami," has been in business for 15 years since it opened in 2006! It's a ramen shop that I always seem to find when I'm in trouble once a year. They have a dedicated parking lot (3 spaces). I arrived in front of the shop at 12:15 PM. When I peeked inside the door, there were 4 people at the counter and 2 people waiting inside, so it was crowded. I entered the shop as one person left. The name of this shop is written as "Nami," but there is no coastal feel at all in Kita-Ayase, Adachi-ku. The owner seems to be a surfer, and the interior of the shop has a faded tropical style. I sat in a wooden alcove-like space and watched Michael Jackson dancing on TV. It's nostalgic for me because "Thriller" was popular when I was in high school, back in the Showa era. The ramen here is often rich and thick, not the kind of ramen you eat as a finishing touch after drinking. I ordered the limited spicy miso ramen for 900 yen. Payment is made after eating, and the ramen was served in 8 minutes. It came with cabbage, bean sprouts, green onions, wood ear mushrooms, and half a boiled egg, with a large piece of chashu on top. The chashu was meaty and salty. The spiciness of the ramen comes from star anise and Sichuan pepper, not chili peppers, and it gradually builds up. The soup is so thick that the chopsticks stand upright in it. It's like eating medium-thick noodles from Asakusa Kaika-ro mixed in a thick soup! I was actually looking for a straight, chili pepper-based spiciness, so the ramen at "Nami" is always full of curveballs and interesting twists for those who like unique flavors. There was a photo on the wall of tomato salt ramen, I wonder how it tastes? Near Ayase-Kita Station, on the side of "Shobunuma Park," there are "Watai," "Musashiya," and "Nami," which are the top three ramen shops in Kita-Ayase! Thank you for the meal. Note: Kita-Ayase has a Chiyoda Line train depot, and the blue Romancecar from Kita-Senju waits here. I want to relax in a hot spring in Hakone after a long time. 🎵

"Located in Kita-Ayase, there is a ramen shop called 'Nami (Sea)'. I love their rich miso ramen, so I revisited after about 2 years. The 'Zenbu-nose' miso ramen costs 1300 yen and comes with white negi and a large slice of chashu on top. The soup is a vegetable miso base with a thick texture and a very rich flavor. It is not too salty and is quite delicious. Despite the addition of bean sprouts, boiled cabbage, boiled egg, and white negi, the flavor of the soup remains strong. The noodles are medium-thick noodles from Asakusa Kaika-rou, providing a satisfying chewy texture that stands out even with the rich soup and generous toppings. The price may be a bit high, but it is a miso ramen that is worth the satisfaction."

On November 14, 2019 (Thursday), I had a job around Adachi Ward. I usually stand on my feet, so it's like "Adachi" (a pun on the Japanese word for standing). I came to this town for work. At noon, I was near Kita-Ayase Station on the subway. On this day, I visited a place called "Nami (Sea)". Normally, it would be "wave" in English, right? Everyone would definitely make a joke about that... I forgot to ask about it (^◇^;) Oh well, never mind. It's definitely related to the sea. I entered the restaurant at 12:38. Surfboards were displayed with the menu written on them. Before coming to this restaurant, I did some research and the char siu (roast pork) looked delicious, so this time I ordered "Ramen (700 yen)" with "Char Siu (380 yen)" added. The ramen arrived at 12:46. The toppings were bean sprouts, cabbage, nori, garlic chips, and char siu. The soup looked rich and flavorful. And the char siu was thick! (^ω^) Now, the soup... slurp... it's delicious. A rich soy sauce flavor with a sharp impact. The noodles were medium-thick curly noodles, satisfying to eat. The vegetables, cabbage and bean sprouts, provided a great texture. And the char siu!! Thick and tender. I got the top-quality char siu I was aiming for. Highly recommended for meat lovers! Other menu items also looked delicious, so I will visit again if I have the chance. Ending music. This time it was "Nami (Sea)". "Nami" → "wave"... KILLER!! Killer - Shock Waves / Laws Are Made To Break. It was a cool song choice (laughs). Thanks for the meal♪
