This cafe, which is closed on weekends and holidays, had very high reviews, so I had high expectations. However, I was surprised when I entered because it was about one-third of the size I had imagined! It turns out there are seats on the upper floor as well. The taste of the coffee was honestly mediocre, but it was a calming cafe with a beautiful view of the greenery outside the window where you can work without being disturbed.

I was drawn in by the phrase "limited to weekdays" and rushed in as soon as they opened. It is located on the second floor of Kusatsuki Kaikan, and I thought the cafe was in a space like the second photo, but they were separate. There were about 20 seats facing each other at long tables in the store, and it was about 80% crowded about 30 minutes after opening. It's true that you can see greenery outside through the glass, but I felt like some people were exaggerating when they said on Instagram that they could forget about the city here.

Located in Aoyama Ichome, the Sougetsu Kaikan is known for its Isamu Noguchi stone garden and ikebana. Occasionally, rare films are screened in the hall here, and I was aware of the building itself. There is a modern cafe space on the second floor, and I had the opportunity to stop by when it first opened. The building faces Aoyama Street, with Akasaka Palace right in front. Upon entering, I toured the stone garden and then headed to the cafe reception on the second floor. It was early in the morning, so there were hardly any people there, but a young woman who seemed to be there for work and a couple who seemed to have met up here crossed paths a few times. It felt quite cool to meet up here for a date (laughs). The tables were set up in a separate area, so I paid at the register first, received my items on a tray, and then moved to the seating area. They offered espresso-based coffee and several baked goods. The baked goods were reasonably priced given the location, but they were on the smaller side. I had an iced latte (¥600) and an almond croissant (¥350). The latte had just the right balance of espresso, not too weak or too strong, making it easy to drink. The croissant was warmed up and while it was on the smaller side, it was crispy and quite delicious. The view from the seating area overlooked the greenery of Aoyama and you could see the flow of traffic below. It wasn't a breathtaking view, but it was a nice space to relax and take a break, with the trees in the background and trucks and taxis passing by. There was a mirror on the ceiling that created a humorous effect, showing the cars driving on the ground and the ceiling, giving it a sci-fi feel. The overall impression of the coffee and food was not particularly strong, but I was impressed by the space and the scenery. It's a bit off the beaten path from the commercial area, so I wouldn't necessarily come all the way here without a reason, but it could be a place that would be appreciated on a date! The stone garden that incorporates light and water into the space (no photos allowed) was also beautiful.

Visited the cafe on the 2nd floor of Sōgetsu Kaikan for lunch. The counter space on the 246 side offers a view of the greenery of Akasaka Imperial Palace. The large table in the retail space allows you to enjoy the view of the greenery of Takahashi Zekisei Park through a large window. I purchased a poke bowl lunch box with iced coffee. The tuna and sea bream poke bowl, with diced fish, cucumber, and avocado, was well-seasoned and surprisingly delicious. Even if it had been served at a high-class counter in a traditional Japanese restaurant, it would have received high marks. The self-service lunch, priced over 1200 yen, may not offer the best value for money, but I was satisfied with the view and the taste. Even after 2 p.m., the popular cafe continued to be crowded with young people. Thank you for the meal.

I visited around 16:40 on a weekday. This café is only open on weekdays. It is a café that can be recommended for architecture and interior design enthusiasts. In the lobby of the Kusuki Building designed by Tange, there are Isamu Noguchi's works displayed. The reception counter is also designed by Isamu Noguchi. As you go up the stairs to the second floor, you will find a large counter seat and an order counter. Going up to the third floor, you can enjoy a spacious area overlooking the greenery of Akasaka Imperial Palace and Isamu Noguchi's lobby. The café space is supervised by Nendo. You can relax in an Eero Saarinen Tulip chair and enjoy a luxurious time. ★ I changed the cafe latte (iced) to pistachio cream for an additional 100 yen. The nutty fat in the cream was heavy and delicious. ★ I had the Croissant Amande for 350 yen, and had it warmed up. It was small. The inside layer was a soft and buttery dough, with more buttery taste than expected.

I stopped by CONNEL COFFEE near the office in the morning ☕️ It's located on the 2nd floor of Sotsuki Kaikan, so if you miss the sign, you might accidentally pass by, so be careful! On this day, I was hit hard by the intense heat, so I got an iced cafe latte and a few baked goods to go. In addition to baked goods, they also have light meals like bread, and the concept is nice, so it's recommended for those who want to do a little work in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere!

I heard about a healing cafe with lots of greenery, but when I visited, there was no greeting upon entering or leaving. There were three female staff members at the counter, but no one guided me to the register. There were five lunch packs available, but the bread was cold and hard. It seems like they expect you to warm it up yourself with the microwave. If they call themselves a cafe, they should improve their customer service. The third-floor seating area, which is said to be spacious, was not available due to exhibition preparations, and the opposite table was packed with 10 people. It's a shame that such a nice environment is being wasted. It was a disappointing experience, and I won't be going back for a second visit.

Located along Route 246 heading towards Akasaka Mitsuke from Aoyama Itchome Station. On the second floor up the stairs of Kusatsuki Kaikan, there is a cash register counter and a large communal table where you pay before being seated. There are also counter seats and table seats in a spacious area slightly above the stairs. The building, designed by Kenzo Tange, features a stunning stone garden designed by Isamu Noguchi. We tried the Banana and Coconut Opera for 550 yen and the Iced Tea for 500 yen. The Opera had a sweet banana aroma and a crunchy coconut texture as accents. The layers of sponge and chocolate cream were beautifully presented. The portion size was on the smaller side. The large windows overlooking lush greenery outside created a relaxing atmosphere. This is a high-class hidden gem cafe.

When it comes to a street leading towards Akasaka-Mitsuke from Aoyama-itchome Station, I only knew about the cafe "Toraya" and was looking for a cafe to kill time for the next 30 minutes until my next appointment. I stumbled upon this cafe. It is located on the second floor of the building and is not very conspicuous. Because of this, it is not crowded, and the seating area is spacious, allowing for a very relaxed atmosphere. This cafe is closed on weekends and holidays, making it a hidden gem on weekdays. I ordered an iced cafe mocha. At 700 yen, considering it as a location fee, it doesn't seem too bad.

This is a cafe located inside the Sogakudo building along Aoyama Street. I stumbled upon it when I was in a lunch crisis, as most places had already finished serving lunch. The clientele seemed to be mostly stylish young people, and even the staff were all good-looking. When I arrived, the lunch menu options were limited, and I ended up choosing a rice dish that was served lukewarm, almost cold. Just as I thought I was lucky to have gotten any food at all, they added new lunch menu items on the counter. It would have been nice if they had mentioned that more options would be available soon if I waited a bit. As I was leaving, I noticed a microwave at the corner of the cafe, which I could have used to heat up my food further if needed. It was a bit disappointing that no one informed me about this option, perhaps they have a policy of not providing unnecessary information. The view from inside the cafe was lovely, overlooking the Akasaka Imperial Palace and a nearby park with lush greenery.

I visited this cafe during the day when I had some time to spare before my next appointment. I don't usually come to this area, and it's been a few years since I last visited the Kusatsu Kaikan for a live show. The cafe is located on the second floor of the building, and if you don't know about it, you probably wouldn't come here. I was a bit hesitant to enter the building at first, but I went up the stairs and entered the cafe. It was spacious and open, with a variety of simple drinks available. The seating consisted of large communal tables where a few people were sitting, either working on their laptops or chatting. The large windows provided a nice view of the park in front. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

I had heard rumors, but the atmosphere is really amazing. It's quiet and you can really concentrate. Even the chairs are nice. The seats were pretty full even on weekdays. I especially like the second floor, where there is a lot of space between tables. The coffee is also delicious.

The cafe was open on a public holiday, even though it was normally closed on weekends and holidays. The drinks were a bit on the expensive side, but the roll cake was delicious. The cafe mocha had a rich chocolate flavor that justified the price. I was able to enjoy my drink in the lounge area, which was very relaxing. I wonder if it gets crowded on weekdays?

I always pass by the Sogetsu Kaikan. The second floor here is a cafe overlooking the Akasaka Imperial Property across Aoyama Street. The lunch box is 850 yen. It includes a ham and cheese croissant sandwich, an egg sandwich, a salad sandwich, and minestrone soup. The croissant has a weak butter flavor, which is a bit disappointing, like airplane food. Perhaps sweet items like red bean paste sandwiches would be more appealing? It might be nice to have a leisurely lunch while looking at the greenery. Thank you for the meal.

If you knew, the cafe has a high deviation value!? Introducing a cafe in Aoyama that you don't really want to tell about ☕️ ***Located about a 5-minute walk from Aoyama-itchome Station, facing Aoyama Street, is "CONNEL COFFEE". I visited during lunchtime as they are only open on weekdays. * <About CONNEL COFFEE> A cafe operated by the design office "nendo", which has bases in Tokyo and Milan. The name "connel" (meaning "kneading" various elements) was chosen with the desire to collaborate organically with various people. * <My order> ・Today's lunch box ¥850 (Weekdays 11:45-14:30) *Changes daily, so I recommend checking their official Instagram before visiting. ・Iced cafe latte +¥250 * <COMMENTS> Overwhelmingly beautiful space. First, I was impressed by the stone garden created by the world-renowned artist Isamu Noguchi on the first floor of the Sogetsu Kaikan. And the interior of CONNEL COFFEE surrounded by the greenery of Aoyama felt like a different world. The LUNCH BOX I had was a freshly made "Gorgonzola and prosciutto pizza". The creaminess of the Gorgonzola and the saltiness paired well with the ham, and the walnuts on top were a delightful accent. ***This is a cafe that I recommend visiting even if you have to take a day off ===========

You can enjoy a panoramic view of Akasaka Imperial Garden and the commemorative park through the fully glassed walls. I ordered mango pudding and café latte. The mango pudding was not too big in size and had a nice level of sweetness. The café latte, even in a takeaway cup, had cute latte art that lifted my mood when I removed the lid. The interior of the restaurant is spacious, quiet, and perfect for relaxing.

The overall impression is that it has a high counter next to the office drink counter, and the half upper floor is covered with glass, creating a truly lovely space. It feels really comfortable and relaxing, with Wi-Fi available and few customers on weekdays, making it a quiet and peaceful place where you can easily lose track of time. Payment is self-service, but it's still a place you would want to visit again and again!

Drip coffee for 500 yen. An butter for 300 yen. The drip coffee is bitter, but the type of beans is unknown. The stylish interior of the shop faces Aoyama Street with large glass windows, creating a calm atmosphere. Free Wi-Fi is available.

I walked past this shop several times and was curious, so I decided to stop by for the first time. I got a takeout of drip coffee for 500 yen (tax included). They mentioned that Bondeur Fibon Cafe is involved in the production, so I think it's their beans. They offer a choice of three different beans with varying roast levels, and I chose the second one which was available immediately. It had a nice balance with a hint of fruitiness, very delicious. The interior of the shop had a view of greenery and was quiet and calming. It seems like a nice place to relax and spend some time when you have the chance.

The cafe has a small number of seats, but it has a lovely view of greenery from the large windows. The coffee is delicious, and the sandwiches made with thick bread are quite tasty. They also have red bean butter, which I am curious about. There are outlets available for charging your devices!
