In a cozy little shop that reminds you of a traditional Italian restaurant, the menu offers over 20 a la carte options and over 20 pasta dishes, making it hard to decide what to order! Each dish is so tempting that you'll want to come back again and again! This time, I indulged in 5 dishes:
- Red snapper carpaccio ¥1,200
- Baked young corn with anchovy sauce ¥1,320
- Iwachu pork cutlet with fresh tomato sauce ¥1,500
- Penne arrabbiata ¥1,260
- Saltimbocca ¥1,800
All of them were delicious! I was already quite full from the pasta, but the Saltimbocca reminded me of the one I had in Italy, so I couldn't resist ordering it as well ☺️

We happened to find this restaurant while walking around Ebisu looking for a place to have lunch. It opened at 12 pm that day for some reason. The interior with tables for two had a nice atmosphere and the service was efficient and impressive. The "Whole Tomato Salad" exceeded our expectations. It was exquisite. The perfectly round, semi-frozen tomatoes were easy to cut through with a knife. The simple yet classic flavor of cheese, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar dressing made the salad outstanding. I ordered the "Puttanesca" pasta with anchovies, capers, and olives in a tomato-based sauce, while my husband ordered a large portion of Bolognese, his favorite. Both dishes were perfectly seasoned. This Italian restaurant offers great value for money, and it's rare to find such quality. I believe the dinner menu must be even more delicious. The lunch experience speaks volumes.

I recently visited this restaurant with the desire to eat delicious tomato sauce pasta. The tomato sauce pasta I ordered did not disappoint in terms of flavor. The sweetness of the onions stood out, and the perfectly sized bacon added an exquisite touch. The pasta itself had a chewy texture and was satisfying to eat. The salad was also very delicious. The dressing had a luxurious feel, and it paired well with the vegetables. The salad was fresh, colorful, and visually pleasing. The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit and has a long, narrow layout, which may make it a bit intimidating to enter, but I think it's perfect for a date. The atmosphere is ideal for couples to enjoy a leisurely meal together. However, it was a bit disappointing that there was no cheese to sprinkle on the pasta. Overall, the restaurant had a good atmosphere, and the staff were polite, making the dining experience pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who want to enjoy delicious tomato sauce pasta and salad, as well as those looking for a perfect atmosphere for a date. I definitely want to come back again in the future.

Located about a 3-minute walk from Ebisu Station, the easiest way to find it from the metro is through exit 5. The exterior has a charming old-fashioned look, while the interior is characterized by dim warm lighting. The walls are covered with wine labels, and there are photos, uniforms, and balls from an Italian soccer team on display. I was happy to see Totti from Roma displayed, being a soccer fan myself. I visited for lunch and the tomato salad as an appetizer was delicious. I had the Cacio e Pepe pasta which was perfectly al dente and incredibly tasty, making for a luxurious lunch experience.

Today's lunch was Italian! I found this restaurant while looking for one. Walking from Ebisu station towards Naka-Meguro along a big street, I turned a corner and saw the restaurant. The entrance was dimly lit, making me wonder if it was open. As I approached, I saw the open sign. There were two doors at the entrance, so I hesitated until I opened the second door. Inside, the interior had a vintage and classy feel, with small tables for two lined up. The walls had various menu items written on them, giving the place a unique atmosphere. When I sat down, I was handed the lunch menu. It had many options, and after some deliberation, I ordered the pasta with mullet roe. The salad came first, beautifully presented with cute tomatoes on a white plate. The sauce underneath had a stylish touch. The tomatoes were cut in a way that seemed slightly frozen, which was a delightful surprise. Then the pasta arrived. The amount of mullet roe was just right, providing a perfect balance of saltiness and unique flavor. It was mixed throughout the pasta, making every bite delicious. The leaf (I forgot the name) that came with it had a subtle taste that complemented the pasta well. The portion was on the smaller side, but it was just right for me. It was a satisfying meal.

A hidden gem of an Italian restaurant near Ebisu Peacock. The interior is long and narrow, with a vintage feel and dim lighting, making you feel like you're in Italy. For lunch, they serve tomato salad and bread. They offer four types of pasta with oil, tomato sauce, or cream sauce bases, making it hard to choose. The tomato salad is a specialty, served whole and chilled on a plate with coleslaw-like toppings, powdered cheese, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. It's like a simplified version of Swallow Grill's stuffed tomato, reminiscent of a Caprese salad without basil. It would have been better if the tomato wasn't too chilled. The Pomodoro is okay, nothing special. It's more on the classic side. Maybe because I've tried a variety of flavors before, I prefer something that is more in line with the times.

Lunch: Octopus and Celery Spaghetti ¥1,200 (tax included)
Located in the bustling area of Ebisu where many Italian restaurants are gathered, there is a quiet trattoria called "Taberna Kuare Ebisu". At first glance, it may seem like the restaurant is closed, but there is a signboard outside displaying the lunch menu. Upon opening the door, another door leading to the actual restaurant appears. The interior is somewhat long and narrow in layout, with dim lighting creating a cozy hideaway atmosphere. I visited around 1 pm on a weekday, and the restaurant was almost full.
For lunch, they offer pasta dishes with oil-based, tomato-based, or cream-based sauces. I ordered the "Octopus and Celery Spaghetti" with tomato sauce. For the side salad, you can choose between tomato salad or green salad, and I chose the tomato salad. The tomato salad and bread arrived first. It was a simple dish with a whole tomato topped with ricotta cheese, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. Although simple, it felt fresh and delicious.
Next came the main dish, the spaghetti. It was al dente spaghetti with pieces of octopus and celery in a tomato-based sauce. Simple, rustic, and homey in flavor, it was really tasty. This time, I opted for both the salad and spaghetti to be tomato-based, but I might try the oil-based sauce next time. If you're in the mood for a tomato-filled meal in Ebisu, this is the place to go.

On this day, I had tomato salad and bolognese. The whole tomato salad with one tomato is very impactful. It's easy to eat with cheese, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. You can also choose a salad that is not tomato-based. I've come here many times for the bolognese, and it's always delicious. The pasta is chewy, and the beef sauce is well-seasoned and goes well with it. I finished eating quickly and felt like the portion was small, so I wanted to have seconds. The restaurant is quite dim even during the day, so it may be difficult to read or work while waiting for your meal. Just something to keep in mind.

※This is a past pic. Had dinner at "TAVERNA QUALE" in Ebisu for Christmas! As usual, after seeing the illumination at #EbisuGardenPlace every year, we moved to the east exit and had Italian food! The interior was dimly lit and had a retro feel! Started with a toast with sparkling wine! We were given a wooden food menu to choose from! Each menu item was served separately to each person, making it easy to enjoy without having to share!
- Assorted appetizers: The vegetables were delicious! The cooking, seasoning, and overall balance of the assortment were very good. It was a delicious vegetable appetizer that you could savor!
- Prosciutto: Concentrated saltiness and umami. A taste that goes well with alcohol!
- Tomato spaghetti: Anchovy flavor is strong, and the al dente texture and rich tomato sauce go well together!
- Roasted lamb: Bone-in lamb meat! Tasty with herbs! We also had Italian beer, a mint and white wine cocktail, and red wine! It was a satisfying restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food! Casual yet delicious!

I was thinking about what to have for lunch today, and I felt like having pasta, so I visited this restaurant. The exterior of the restaurant looks cool and has a nice atmosphere, which I really like. I visited because I was a bit far from Ebisu Station's East Exit due to some errands, so it might be a bit far from the station. Probably the locals are the main customers here. There are many types of pasta dishes for lunch, making it hard to choose. With a small salad and bread, it's around 1000 yen. In this area, 1000 yen is pretty normal. Lunch at a slightly nicer place can cost around 1500 yen, especially in Ebisu. I didn't have high expectations since it's more like a bar than a restaurant, but the pasta was authentic and delicious. It seems like a fun place to go for drinks at night as well. I will visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Lunch. No response even when I opened the door. Appealing to solo diners! The initial interaction felt a bit cold, but the atmosphere was great. There are many pasta options to choose from, making it exciting to decide. It's nice. The menu includes salad and bread, starting from 1000 yen, which is reasonable. The tomato in the salad is famous, so I chose an oil-based dressing. The service is good, but the staff, especially the female, has a cool and not very welcoming demeanor. The tomato with balsamic vinegar and cheese is great! Comes with a mini bread roll. The pasta is well-prepared and delicious! The oil is good too! It costs 1100 yen and they only accept cash.

We opted for the course menu for two people, priced at 3500 yen. The meal included a choice of appetizers, pasta, and a main dish, making it quite a good deal. We started with a beer for 750 yen to quench our thirst, followed by a bottle of white wine for 4980 yen, with hints of green apple from Lazio. The wine was refreshing and easy to drink, with a pleasant lack of strong flavors. The wine was brought to our table in a basket, adding to the charming atmosphere. For appetizers, we enjoyed a platter of assorted vegetables and delicious garlic-flavored chicken. The warm dish was similar to oil-infused garlic shrimp, perfect for dipping bread. The pasta dishes were uni and lasagna, with a generous amount of uni that was even more than what you would get at a sushi restaurant. Both dishes were incredibly tasty. The main dish was harami beef, which was exceptional - incredibly tender and without any chewiness. The dessert, panna cotta, was also to our liking. We will definitely be back.

Lasagna for 1400 yen. This was quite delicious, with a signature feel to it. The tomato salad that came with the lunch was also good. Restaurants that use whole tomatoes tend to have good cost performance and give off a vibe of being meticulous in their work. I can't wait to come back for dinner.

I had a lunch set which included a whole tomato salad, bread, and pasta, along with a dish called Cacio e Pepe, all for 1000 yen. The aroma of olive oil and Pecorino cheese was amazing. The interior of the restaurant, although I've never been to Italy, made me feel like I was there - I definitely want to visit someday! They allow you to bring your own wine, but I also want to try the wines they have at the restaurant. The place seems very convenient and I can see myself coming back here often. Amazing!

While wandering around Ebisu looking for a place to have lunch, I came across a nice Italian restaurant. They had pasta and lasagna on the menu, so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant was crowded, giving me the impression that it was popular. I ordered the lasagna. To start, they served a salad with a whole tomato, which was easy to eat and delicious. The lasagna wasn't too heavy with white sauce, and although it was filling, I finished it easily. I would like to try their pasta next time. Thank you for the meal.

I recently visited this popular restaurant in the area and it was quite crowded when I arrived around 12 o'clock on Wednesday. I ordered the spaghetti with karasumi and had to wait a bit. While waiting, they brought a salad with a whole small tomato and bread. I'm not a big fan of tomatoes and it was a bit firm, so I didn't really enjoy it. The karasumi pasta was hot, well-seasoned, and delicious. I think this is a place where everything is just good. I would like to try other dishes on the menu next time.

A small, cave-like Italian restaurant near Ebisu Station. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with limited seating, and it is popular among a diverse group of customers. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from seafood to meat. We started with a platter of appetizers, followed by sautéed beef harami, fluffy omelette, and baked tomato. Of course, we enjoyed these dishes with wine ❤️ The timing of the food service and the ambiance were excellent, and we had a wonderful time. However, the prices were a bit on the higher side. The food was good, but not exceptional. I have been to other stylish and cost-effective restaurants in Ebisu before, so... (^^;) Thank you for the meal.

After finishing some errands in Ebisu, I went on my usual hunt for lunch. While wandering around the west side of Ebisu station, I stumbled upon an Italian trattoria. It was close to 1 PM, so the lunch rush had died down. I was able to get a table easily and chose from a selection of nearly 10 pasta dishes for lunch. Each lunch set came with a salad and focaccia bread. Although I was tempted by some of the classic pasta options, I was in the mood for a tomato-based sauce, so I went with the puttanesca. When the salad arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the caprese-style presentation with whole tomatoes. The tomatoes were fresh and flavorful, making a strong impression. As I enjoyed the warm focaccia, my pasta arrived. It was also rich in tomato sauce flavor with a good balance of vegetable taste, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. This place delivered consistent quality in its classic Italian dishes, and I was particularly impressed by that salad. I'll definitely be bringing someone along next time to share that experience.

A narrow shop that extends into a long and narrow space with a counter at the back. The appetizer assortment includes Caprese, marinated vegetables, and octopus. It's perfect for nibbling as a starter. When asking for the wine list, they bring a wine cart, which gives a warm and welcoming feel. It's a great place to enjoy a cozy atmosphere and have a leisurely drink.

While ordering a bottle of Signum, I had lemon sautéed artichokes, fried octopus and mushrooms, tripe, lamb potato gratin, and two pizzas. The pizzas were different from Neapolitan ones as they were Roman-style, a bit thinner and delicious! They were more crispy than chewy. The gratin was incredibly tasty!
