I was able to walk in without a reservation at 6 p.m. on a holiday. I thought it was a high-end restaurant, but the bill for 3 drinks each and 3 dishes was reasonable if you don't order too much. The atmosphere was quiet and calm, and I would like to come back again. It felt like a casual version of a high-end restaurant.

A little walk from Yotsuya Sanchome intersection towards Akebonobashi, you will find it on the left side of the road. It has a stylish exterior and interior, making it perfect for a date. The staff are very polite and I was seated at the counter. The counter seating area is of average size and not cramped. You can watch the chefs prepare the dishes in the open kitchen. The dishes are all carefully prepared and delicious until the end. The drinks are also good. In terms of cost performance, it is quite good considering the quality of the food.

I had a reservation-only seasonal course at this restaurant, where a French chef prepared Japanese cuisine. The dishes were even more delicious than expected, with each ingredient's flavor enhanced by the broth and sauces, creating an exquisite taste. Both the meat and fish were delicious, but the seasonal kamameshi rice, made with edamame and Oyama chicken, was my favorite and I had multiple servings until I finished it all. The staff recommended beer, sake, and wine to pair with the dishes, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant, with each table having its own space, was exactly to my liking. The attentive service from the staff also deserves high praise. Considering the quality of the food and the reasonable price, this restaurant offers great value for money.

I had a harami set meal on Saturday! It was incredibly delicious~ I always choose harami for yakiniku, but the harami here is really tasty. It's quite rare, but it's just how I like it. Lunch will be temporarily suspended in May, but I definitely want to go back when they resume.

On a Saturday afternoon, two of us visited the restaurant. My companion ordered curry while I chose the fish lunch. The curry came with salad and sherbet. The fish lunch included a variety of appetizers and was luxurious. The fish was cooked perfectly and delicious! I also tried some of my companion's curry, which was also good. Both the appearance and taste were very satisfying. I would like to visit again.

I heard that the Kaiseki curry here is delicious, so I came to try it out. As the restrictions are slowly being lifted, I decided to venture a bit outside my usual area and come to Terunari in Shinjuku. Despite being a Kaiseki restaurant, they offer curry for lunch and it's said to be delicious, hence my visit. The dinner menu seems a bit high-end, but the atmosphere is welcoming and not intimidating. The staff are friendly and the place feels cozy. I initially came for the curry, but looking at the menu, there are other tempting options like fish and meat set meals. I ended up changing my mind and ordered the meat set meal with Harami. The appetizer plate was impressive, showcasing a variety of traditional Japanese dishes. The meat was tender with a unique cut resembling tongue. The sauce, based on balsamic vinegar, complemented the meat well. Overall, it was a delicious meal. I look forward to coming back for dinner next time.

It was my first time, so I went with the regular basic course. The staff in the dining hall were casual yet attentive, thoughtful, and provided smart service. This really made a difference. The timing of the dishes was also excellent. It seems like the courses change monthly. The ingredients used were mostly affordable, and the beef tendon chawanmushi didn't have much beef tendon flavor, and there was hardly any beef tendon in it. I'm not sure of the difference between the regular course and the seasonal course that costs 1000 yen more, but I might have made the wrong choice. Overall, I praise the staff in the dining hall. A2

Today, we were walking towards a well-known Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood for lunch. Upon discovering the restaurant, I confidently walked in. However, as I entered the restaurant and was welcomed by the friendly staff, I suddenly realized something. Wait, where am I? It seems like I mistakenly went to the wrong floor, confusing the first and second floors. Slightly flustered, I was met with a smile from you as you gestured, "It's okay, how about here?" I was then guided to a table in the back of the single-floor restaurant. Whenever we have meals together, you always suggest a seat far from the entrance or aisle. At first, I was a bit surprised because I had never been treated this way by a man before, but I soon realized that it must be completely normal for you. I sometimes wonder how many people have experienced this kind of treatment from you in front of me, and how many have had happy times and important conversations with you. Nevertheless, there are times when I think it's more convenient for me to sit in the back of the restaurant, depending on the situation. This is because during our happy times or important conversations, when I want to call the attention of the restaurant staff for things like the table or our glasses without you having to turn around, I can discreetly signal them or catch their eye, raise my hand, or lightly call out to them. At least when it's just the two of us, it's enough for me to be the only one in your sight.

Michelin one-star restaurant "Suzunari's" sister restaurant. Course menu for less than 10,000 yen! It has a nice mix of Western elements and is delicious and enjoyable. The homemade karasumi (bottarga) was paired with fruits (persimmon), which was a nice touch. The red sea bream carpaccio had a tender texture and a flavorful taste, despite being white fish. The tuna and avocado dish was a classic combination, with plenty of avocado complementing the tuna. The beef tendon steamed egg custard was softer and more gelatinous than the typical chawanmushi. The abalone and daikon radish in a Japanese-style consommé was unique and interesting. The grilled salted yellowtail was thick and flavorful, although the mustard with acidity might not have been necessary. For the main course, I opted for the duck with an additional charge, and it was cooked to perfection. To finish off the meal, there was a traditional Japanese-style rice dish with sea bream, followed by a palate-cleansing granite and a mini dessert. Overall, for 7,150 yen, the satisfaction level was high. I am now curious to try dining at Suzunari as well.

We visited for Christmas lunch with my wife. The spacious interior and distance between tables were perfect for a relaxing time. The food was delicious. The only small disappointment was that the staff, except for the manager, had bed hair...haha. Just fixing that little detail would make the atmosphere even more lovely, so I look forward to visiting again next time.

This is my 8th visit. I ordered the Fish Set Meal (Bonito Tataki) for 1,200 yen (tax included). The appetizers included simmered young chicken, daikon radish with lemon soy sauce, boiled watercress, rolled omelette, and potato salad. The daikon radish with lemon soy sauce had a crispy texture and a refreshing taste. The Bonito Tataki was thick and fatty. Today's lunch was healthy and satisfying once again.

This is my 5th visit. I am happy with the 5 types of appetizers like amberjack sashimi. The daily lunch special is roasted venison. It's great to be able to enjoy this at such a reasonable price, despite the slight overcooking. However, the service was quite poor this time because the usual waitstaff was not there.

A small izakaya in Yotsuya Sanchome. It is said to be a sister store of "Suzunari" in Araki-cho! For lunch, they offer dishes such as dashi soup curry and set meals. I ordered the pork miso braised pork belly (1,400 yen) from the various types of dashi soup curry. It came with salad and miso soup. The soup curry was not watery, but had a thick, curry udon-like consistency. It was delicious. I chose to sit at a table, although there were also spacious counter seats available. The lunch menu included daily specials, curry tsukemen, and Japanese-style curry, with a variety of options. I ordered the Japanese-style curry with mackerel and tofu (served with salad and miso soup) for 1,200 yen (tax included). The salad was fresh and beautifully presented, giving a unique impression. The curry had cheese on top, and I was surprised to find that the white, finely shredded ingredient was tofu, along with the mackerel. The combination of mackerel, tofu, cheese, and Japanese-style broth was a delightful discovery. The service was also very friendly, making for a comfortable dining experience. I would like to visit again in the future.

After seeing this visual, I had to go right away. I tried the Duck Roast Soup Curry Set for 1,500 yen. Besides the duck roast, there was also pork miso stewed pork and Chikuzen stew.
