On a regular Monday at 11:30 am, after finishing delivering to a client at Sumitomo Triangle Building, I headed to this restaurant on the basement floor of the neighboring Mitsui Building. I had been eyeing this place because a nearby follower had reviewed it, and it looked cheap and delicious. About half of the seats were taken when I entered. I quickly placed my order for the Bullet Steak, No. 1 Player Harami-chan! (What's with that slogan?) I ordered the 300g (1,500 yen) portion with a large serving of rice. Even though rice was included, the menu stated that a medium portion was 1.5 servings and a large portion was 2.5 servings. I thought 2.5 servings might be too much, but hey, if it's the same price, go for the large portion, right? My frugal nature spoke up. Oh, where are those paper aprons everyone is wearing? At the entrance? Oh, right, I went to grab one, and another female customer who had been watching also came to get one. If they don't tell you, you wouldn't know. Now, let's see what it's like. First, the rice arrived! It looked pretty generous, but since it's on a plate and not in a bowl, it's a piece of cake. (Thank you, my frugal nature!) Now, for the meat... I see, it looks like this. It came on a hot plate, but there wasn't much sizzling. Still, it was hot enough to keep the meat from cooling quickly. This place had a video on how to eat the steak Guts-style, so while waiting, I watched it on YouTube via the QR code. The video said to pour soy sauce and boldly apply mustard when the hot plate arrives. Oh, really, that sounds interesting. Let's give it a try. First, I took a bite, probably seasoned with salt and pepper. Yeah, it's a bit lightly seasoned at first. In that case, let's do it while the hot plate is still hot! I poured soy sauce all over. The hot plate reacted slightly. Alright, now take a bite. Yeah, eating it with soy sauce is good too. They also said to dip it in the homemade herb vegetable sauce on the table, right? I didn't quite understand, but I tried putting a bit on the hot plate and eating it with the meat. Hmm, not bad, but not great. It tasted like a salsa sauce without tomatoes. It would have been better if they just used salsa sauce. The regular at the next table put a lot of the homemade herb vegetable sauce and spicy miso on top of the rice. Oh, that looks good! I immediately copied him. I moved the meat from the hot plate to the rice. The spicy miso on the table does indeed go well with the rice, as written. Since there's plenty of rice, you can eat it generously. Oh, this really goes well with the rice! The spicy miso is not that great, but (laughs), the homemade herb vegetable sauce goes perfectly with the rice. The guy next to me knows what he's doing! Is there really 300g of meat? It looked like it, but well, it's actually quite a lot. Midway through, I remembered, I should pour some mustard on it! I hesitated, thinking it might ruin the taste, so I just poured it on two pieces. The color of the mustard looks nice. It's like eating a sloppy American hamburger with mustard, but with rice instead of buns. I can imagine doing it with a hamburger, but it's my first time doing it with Harami steak and rice. It's actually not bad. But if I ate it all like this, I'd definitely get tired of it. Ideally, if they had some kind of steak sauce, I might have been able to eat it all the way without getting tired. Well, at 1,500 yen for this volume, I can't complain too much. In these kinds of fancy high-rise buildings, there are often mediocre high-end restaurants, but surprisingly, there are also cheap restaurants like this. If this place were nearby, I'd definitely be a regular customer. I always go to IkiSte for steak, so when I eat meat at a different restaurant, it feels so fresh and delicious, you know. I quite enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal! I'll pay with PayPay, please!
