The store is lined with a variety of breads as per its concept, making it difficult to choose what to order for breakfast. The bread was delicious, but the highlight was the daily soup. On this day, it was a yogurt and cucumber cold soup. The combination of bread and soup made for a fantastic breakfast.

There is a wonderful bakery that has opened in Ebisu without me noticing. They offer a variety of bread from around the world, which is quite unique to see in their showcase! I bought two types of bread this time, the Pampushka from Ukraine and the Concha from Mexico. The Pampushka is a traditional Ukrainian tear-apart bread, fluffy and with a tempting garlic aroma. It also has a distinctive herbal flavor from dill and parsley, and its fluffy texture made it a delight to eat. It would be great to pair it with soup! The Concha looks like a melon bread with its shell-like appearance, resembling a sweet pastry. It is said to be less sweet compared to melon bread, and indeed, it was not overly sweet. It was delicious and satisfyingly large in size. The store has a few counter seats for eating in, but takeout seems to be the best option. It seems this shop opened in November 2022, and it is likely to become more popular in the future.

I wonder if they always have different menus. Today I bought bread from Taiwan and Turkey, and there are stairs so you can't bring a stroller. Other than that, it's great. It's not that expensive and they have sandwiches, soup, and coffee!

About a 10-minute walk from Ebisu Station, there is a charming bakery that catches your eye with its cute storefront. Visited around 1pm on a Saturday, with only about 2 customers already inside. There was seating available for dining in. The bakery showcases a variety of "world breads," which piqued my interest despite the limited selection. I ordered the Khachapuri Gaspatcho, a unique-looking bread topped with plenty of cheese and a soft-boiled egg. The bread was reheated, making it fluffy and piping hot. The creamy cheese paired perfectly with the dough, and the fresh vegetables on top added a nice crunch. The cold gaspacho soup was refreshing and packed with flavors. Although the seating area was a bit crowded, the bakery seemed popular with customers coming in and out for takeout. Overall, a trendy bakery with delicious offerings, even though the dining space could be more comfortable.

Located around halfway between Ebisu Station and Daikanyama Station, this bakery offers bread from various countries around the world (≡^.^≡)♪【Simmit Sandwich, ¥550】A Turkish bread topped with white sesame seeds in a ring shape, filled with strained yogurt. I tried a sample and immediately decided to buy it (ノ≧∀≦)ノ Nom nom~(^ω^)♪ The crust of the bread is quite light, and it pairs well with the creamy strained yogurt filling. Quite delicious.【Khachapuri, ¥580】A Georgian bread, considered a specialty here. A bread shaped like a double-handled pot filled with cheese and a tantalizing egg~(ノ≧∀≦)ノ Must be heated up! Only in the microwave. Nom nom~(^ω^)♪ The aroma of butter is delightful (ノ≧∀≦)ノ The cheese melts and stretches wonderfully! The egg yolk doesn't stand out much (^ω^)ゞOverall impression: A bit on the pricey side.

One day, I went to Ebisu and after finishing my errands, I visited two bakeries. The first one was "PADARIA" located towards Daikanyama Station from Ebisu Station, where you can buy bread from around the world. This bakery is a sister store of "WORLDBREAKFASTALLDAY", where you can have breakfast from around the world. The showcase was filled with various types of bread from different countries, making it an elegant and stylish atmosphere. I chose two breads this time - can you guess which country they are from?
"KHACHAPURI" - 580 yen
This is a bread from Georgia, specifically from the Adjara region. This bread is known for its egg yolk in the center, which is very eye-catching. When reheated, the cheese becomes gooey and you can enjoy the combination of egg and cheese with the bread. The bread itself is soft and has a nice flour flavor, making it delicious. The cheese is rich and flavorful, complementing the bread well.
"MANOUSHE" - 280 yen
This is a bread from Lebanon, with a thin crust topped with "zaatar", a herb similar to thyme. It is recommended to add yogurt or cheese on top when eating. The bread itself has a strong flavor of herbs and sesame. Since there was no yogurt or cream cheese available, I decided to fry an egg and sprinkle some grated cheese on top. This bread can be even more delicious with some variations in toppings.
I would love to try bread from other countries as well, and I definitely want to try the Khachapuri from Georgia again. If I ever come back to Ebisu or Daikanyama, I will make sure to visit this bakery again.

A bakery with a variety of rare country-specific breads lined up. All of them are things I've never heard of before, so it's hard to choose. And the names are all so cute ♡
◆Hachapuri (tax included 580 yen)
☆☆☆☆☆
A Georgian bread that I often see on Instagram. It's recommended to eat it warm, so when you warm it up, the cheese stretches~!! The egg yolk is also runny. The bread is soft and fluffy, and the combination of gooey cheese and egg is excellent!!
◆Pampushka (tax included 300 yen)
☆☆☆☆☆
A Ukrainian tear bread. The bread dough is very fluffy♡ It's soaked in plenty of garlic oil, so the garlic scent and oil spread in your mouth. It's seasoned with herbs, so it's delicious even as it is.
◆Manoushe (tax included 280 yen)
☆☆☆
Another rare Lebanese bread. Quite simple. Like focaccia. Plenty of sesame seeds on thin bread. There are also lots of thyme herbs, but the scent and taste are not strong at all, so it feels like it lacks a punch. It's better with a little added flavor like yogurt or cheese.
[Improvements desired]
There are many breads with a lot of oil, so the paper bag was quite soggy by the time I took it out. Even when placed in an eco bag, oil seeped out of the paper bag, making other things greasy. So, I thought it would be better to thicken the paper bag or provide a plastic bag as a service.

- Pulla: 420 yen
Similar to the Swedish Fika, in Finland, there is a coffee break called "kahvitauko" twice a day, and this bread is a classic item alongside cinnamon rolls. It has a moderate sweetness with a delightful aroma of cardamom. Thank you for the meal.

I went to a place where you can encounter bread from around the world! It seems they close once they sell out. I went there on Saturday around 3 pm and, except for one type, they still had all the varieties. I had been eyeing the Georgian bread called Khachapuri that I often see on Instagram, and there were only two left! Luckily, a fresh batch came out right away. It looked big, so my friend and I shared it, but it was surprisingly light and could be eaten by one person. When I tried to take a photo for takeout, it got squished... Be careful when taking out. The middle part is so gooey and delicious! The carrot muffin is not dense but soft, with lots of carrot bits. Both were delicious!

WORLD BREAKFAST ALLDAY, a bakery where you can enjoy essential "soul food" bread from around the world, has a sister store. I took out some of the bread that caught my eye and enjoyed it at home. The Carrot Muffin, Scallion Bread, Tartine Scone, Pretzel, and Hachapuri were all delicious. The most popular items seem to be the Hachapuri and Pretzel. In addition to bread from around the world, they also offer drinks like coffee, weekly changing soups from around the world, perfect jams and teas to accompany the bread, and various goods.

Visited the bakery around 5 pm on a national holiday. As the name suggests, this bakery offers bread from various countries around the world. Despite the late hour, many items were sold out, but I managed to purchase Bulgaria's Banitsa, Georgia's Khachapuri, Ukraine's Pampushka, Germany's Bretzel, and Czech Republic's Babovka. We shared them as a family. Banitsa was like a quiche, with a crispy outer layer contrasting with the moist filling. I made a mistake with Khachapuri, eating it from the edge, thinking it was a fluffy cheese-flavored bread. In reality, there was a hot runny egg, cheese, and butter in the middle, which should be mixed together and then dipped with torn bread pieces before eating. The bakery didn't mention this in the description they gave me... just a tip for how to eat it. Pampushka is said to have a strong garlic flavor, but I didn't try it. Bretzel and Babovka, which I didn't try, received positive feedback from my family. Thank you for the delicious meal!

It's about a 15-minute walk from Ebisu Station West Exit. It may be a bit of a walk, but it's always bustling even on weekdays, which piqued my interest. When I passed by around 1 pm on a weekday, there was only one customer ahead of me, so I took the opportunity to buy a variety of breads. I was able to enjoy bread from various countries, and they were all delicious, but the "Pan Poushka" and "Tatty Scone" were particularly outstanding. The Pan Poushka had a slightly sweet dough with a savory parsley oil and garlic flavor that was really delicious, with a powerful impact from the first bite. The Tatty Scone had a chewy texture and was a new and unique type of bread. I wanted to try it again, but when I revisited, there was only one piece left, so it seems to be a popular item. The concept of the bakery is interesting, and it is a stylish and delicious bakery. I'm curious about the weekly soup specials, so I would like to try them next time. Thank you for the meal.

❥Visited on a Saturday afternoon around 3 PM❥
I purchased Pan Pampushka (Ukraine), Jivornok (Ukraine), Khachapuri (Georgia), Concha (Mexico), and Pulla (Finland). I was amazed to find a place in Ebisu where I could enjoy bread from around the world! I was initially surprised when I entered the store, but that surprise quickly turned into excitement. I had seen the wallpaper store before, but I never knew there was a bakery there—what a wonderful discovery! Although I arrived late and some bread options were sold out, I was able to get the ones I was interested in. Each bread purchase comes with a note introducing the bread from different countries (please refer to the photo), and reading it at home was a nostalgic experience. All the bread I bought was delicious, and I especially loved the two soft and fluffy bread from Ukraine. Even though the Khachapuri didn't have an egg on top, the gooey and rich cheese on toast was incredibly tasty. I love bread and visit many bakeries, but this one offers a unique and exciting experience. I had so much fun! The store had about four seats for dining in, and I'm looking forward to going back early in the morning next time!

Looking for pretzels, I went to Padaria in Ebisu. It's a very popular bakery where you can eat bread from all over the world. I also tried a bread called Javoronok from Ukraine. The bird-shaped bread had a lemon flavor and it was my first time trying it, but it was really delicious. The seating space inside was limited, so many people were taking their bread to go. Some girls were waiting for a seat to open up and couldn't fully enjoy their food, so I thought maybe they could expand the seating area a bit more.

A shop where you can experience various breads from around the world. I understood the concept and found it fun, and as a bread lover, it was interesting to learn and experience. It felt like the bread you would find in households around the world. Personally, there wasn't anything that made me want to go back again, but if I happen to be nearby, I might peek in to see what they have today.

I was finally able to visit a bakery that I had been curious about for a long time. It's a concept bakery that offers various breads from around the world. I think it's great to have such shops. Here are some of the breads I tried:
- Simit (Turkey): I frequently visit Turkey, so I'm quite picky when it comes to simit. This one had a soft bread dough, similar to Japanese soft bread. The best simit has a crispy surface and a chewy texture. I would love for people to try it locally. It's also great with honey or cream cheese.
- Cinnamon roll (Sweden): Nordic cinnamon rolls are flat and rolled with cardamom. I once did a bakery tour in Finland and compared cinnamon rolls, and they were almost twice the size of this one. The dough is moist and chewy, and the cardamom adds a nice touch. It's very satisfying to eat, especially when paired with coffee.
- Khachapuri (Georgia): This was a first for me. I was supposed to crack an egg into the cheese-filled hole and bake it, but the egg didn't solidify as much as I expected, so I ended up eating it with the egg almost raw. Eating the egg with the bread was an interesting experience. Although it's not exactly like having it in Georgia, it was still enjoyable to try different breads from around the world at this shop. Thank you for the meal.

Just past Nishiguchi, a little beyond Ebisu Park. There's a shop where you can eat bread from around the world, which I've been curious about since it opened. I bought Georgia's Khachapuri and the Easter limited edition (until 4/7) Hot Cross Buns from the UK. It cost 930 yen for both. The Hot Cross Buns are a type of bread traditionally eaten in the UK on Good Friday (the Friday before Easter, this year on 4/7), but since timing doesn't always align perfectly, I bought them when I found them (besides, I don't eat breakfast). It's a cinnamon-scented bun with currants. The Khachapuri is quite large, as you can see. It seems to be very popular, as there were only two left around 1 pm. I managed to grab one before they sold out. I ate it at work, so unfortunately I couldn't crack the yolk into it, but just heating it up made the cheese ooze out and I was very satisfied. Other staff members also said, "It smells really good! What is that?" with great interest (I told them the name of the shop but didn't share the bread). I'm curious about other breads too, and the shop staff were nice, so I want to go back again.

A bakery that offers bread from around the world! This is a sister shop that serves breakfast from around the world. When I visited on a weekday around 1 pm, the eat-in area was full. Take-out customers also arrived later. There were many unfamiliar breads displayed, so I took my time reading the descriptions and choosing.
1. Hachapuri (¥580 including tax): This bread stood out in the showcase. You can add an egg for an extra ¥100. The cheese in the center mixed with egg yolk is meant to be torn and spread on the surrounding bread. The richness and freshness of the cheese, typical of Georgia where livestock is abundant, added to the authentic taste. The bread itself was chewy and fluffy, very delicious. It's quite large compared to other breads, so one is satisfying enough.
2. Karjalanpiirakka (¥200 including tax): A bread from Finland. You can directly taste and smell the rye. The closer you get to the center, the crunchier the texture. This interesting bread wraps milk porridge in bread dough, with a very gentle flavor.

Japanese bakeries are amazing. They have great cost performance, efficient store layouts, franchise operations with multiple locations, and nationwide seasonal limited-time menus. However, I came here wanting to buy khachapuri, but unfortunately, it was sold out. I decided to look at other options in the showcase, and to my surprise, they had baklava! Not the Turkish delight, but a different kind with a round design from another region! I persistently asked about the stock and managed to get two pieces for only ¥280... so cheap! They also had Lebanese manoushe, generously topped with za'atar, just like a real Lebanese mom would make. And they even sell small-sized tahini, which is perfect for making Middle Eastern dishes at home. I was so excited that I started chatting with the staff, and more customers came sliding in right before closing time. It's truly a blessing to have such a variety of international foods available for takeout. I took the bread home, toasted it, and enjoyed it with some tea. Thank you so much!
