I made a reservation for May 12, 2023, but when I arrived, the restaurant was full! I'm glad I made a reservation~ The restaurant is located a little away from the bustling area of Ueno, and there were not many people around at that time, so I was surprised to find it in such a location. There are about three different all-you-can-drink courses. I ended up choosing the most expensive one, which I think was 4800 yen for 3 hours, after being persuaded by the staff. But if you plan on drinking a lot of delicious sake, this course is worth it. In the end, I easily covered the cost even if I had ordered individual items. At first, I hesitated to choose the most expensive course, but when I saw the Senkin Yukidaruma that was only available in that course, I knew I had to try it. So, I started with the Senkin Yukidaruma! It's so delicious and quite rare to find. The second sake was the Hanazukuri from Ryokan Sake Brewery! It was delicious, with a luxurious feel like the Juyondai. It had a juicy taste. In between, we had quail seasoned egg and Bai shellfish. Quail is always delicious! Bai shellfish is not commonly found here, so I was excited to try it. I love Bai shellfish, so I was happy. My companion had never tried Bai shellfish before, but she was impressed by how delicious it was! The third sake was the Nabeshima, which was also delicious! All the sake in the most expensive course was delicious. Then, we received the salmon and parent-child salted salmon and beef sinew stew. Both dishes went well with sake. The salmon salted salmon is a popular souvenir from Niigata. Every time I visit Niigata, I buy it because it's so delicious. The beef sinew stew was flavorful and delicious. Oh, now I feel like having white rice too. The fourth sake was the Koeikiku! It was delicious~ Koeikiku has been quite popular recently. The fifth sake was Kan Tsuchida. It was a surprise that it was served cold instead of warm. But it was incredibly delicious! This was my first time trying Tsuchida, and it was very delicious. It had a sour taste and the umami of sake came through very well. The sixth sake was Saku's apple. It uses a high-acid, high-temperature yeast? I ordered it because it contains apple acid. It was delicious, sour, and tasty. It might be my favorite among the sakes I drank that day. The seventh sake was Iwanoi from Chiba. The design of the 240-bottle package is overwhelming. Is this sake? It's cool! Even young people might want to try it. It also had a sour taste and was delicious. The last sake was Fukuoka GOLD, not Fukuoka Eishin. The packaging was gorgeous! The staff said it's even served in first class on JAL or ANA flights. It was a perfect finish with a luxurious feel. It was great to enjoy various kinds of sake. I would love to come back again.
