I was checking out a restaurant on Instagram. Once the material runs out, it will end. The store opens at 11:00. Around 8:30, a list is posted in front of the store for customers to sign in. I wasn't sure what time to sign in, so I researched reviews from people who visited in the past year on YouTube and other platforms. There are some enthusiasts who start lining up at 6:00, but if you aim for the first round at 11:00, it seems okay to arrive around 7:00. I visited on a Saturday at 7:00. There was a heavy rain forecast for that day, and the temperature was about 6 degrees lower than the previous day. When I arrived, there were 6 people (4 groups) waiting in line. The lineup started to grow around 7:20. Initially, there were many middle-aged customers, but after 7:20, there were more young people in their 20s (especially female customers). While waiting, I read a book. It was difficult to read because I held it with one hand while holding an umbrella. My hands got cold, so I warmed them in my pocket from time to time. The staff raised the shutters and entered the store around 8:00. Sign-in started around 8:10. I was the 8th person to sign in. According to my research, there are 20 counter seats, but due to spacing, only 12-13 seats are used at a time. This time, there were 4 people in my family, so we were just in time for the first round. Even after signing in, there was still a long line. It seems even more challenging on sunny days. I went home for a while. I returned to the store front around 10:50 and met up with my family. The staff came out to check if everyone was present. If someone's name was called but they couldn't be confirmed, they were quickly skipped and the next customer was attended to. It's a shame to miss out on the first round... The store operates on a sign-in system, but some people in line seemed unaware of it. The lineup was that enticing. We entered the store immediately. Sushi was already prepared on the counter seats. They said, "If you have a favorite, please let us know." My family was excited. - All-you-can-eat sushi for one person at 4,000 yen. I ate the prepared sushi. Every piece was delicious! The rice was warm and just right. I ate as much of the sushi that I liked. - Bluefin tuna toro: Rich in fat! - Yellowfin tuna chutoro: Just the right amount of fat and delicious! - Lean tuna: Lighter compared to toro. - Marinated tuna: Rich flavor of lean tuna. - Fresh raw baby sardine: Fresh and tasty. - Sea urchin: Sweet and delicious. - Salmon roe: Slightly salty but delicious. - Tamago (egg): Light and just right. - Mackerel pressed sushi: Perfectly seasoned. - Horse mackerel: Refreshing and delicious. - Pacific saury: Fatty and delicious. - Halibut: Refreshing and delicious. - Gizzard shad: Strong acidity. - Sea bream: Rich in fat! - Conger eel: Fatty and delicious. - Salmon (fatty salmon): Deliciously fatty. - Negitoro roll: Plenty of negitoro! - Conger eel: Slightly dry but delicious. There were pre-made sushi available, and they would ask, "Anyone want ~?" Other sushi would come out in seconds. The service was incredibly fast! The battleship-style sushi had a variety of molds, and the rice was shaped using them. Certainly, it would be impossible to make them all by hand at that speed. Overall, there were more battleship-style sushi. But they were delicious! The sushi-style rice was slightly generous. The customer next to us ordered an extra-large negitoro roll. Everyone was surprised when it arrived! The customer managed to finish it, but if you want to try many different things, you might want to be careful. If you're curious, definitely try it out! I hadn't eaten sea urchin since the prices went up, but my family was so impressed that we ordered it multiple times. I also ate a lot of it. Personally, I thought the sea bream was delicious. It had a good amount of fat. I had never found sea bream tasty before, so I was very impressed. The conger eel was not on the menu, but when I ordered it, they brought it out. Also, miso soup and crab were not on the menu, but they were served. There may be various opinions, but being able to eat plenty of bluefin tuna toro, sea urchin, and salmon roe for 4,000 yen is very reasonable. My family left satisfied without any regrets. I will definitely come back when I want to eat a lot of sushi again. Thank you for the meal.
