Since it's bone-in medium fatty tuna, you have to extract the meat using the clamshell provided. It's a bit of work, but it's part of the charm of this set meal. The homemade medium fatty tuna bowl is finally ready, as shown in the photo. You can extract the meat from this chunk of medium fatty tuna 2-3 times. The sushi rice is red vinegar rice, but personally, I think regular white rice would be a better match. It's surprising that this impressive set meal is only ¥1,280. The set also comes with a side dish (choose from grated yam, whitebait, or natto), chawanmushi, roasted seaweed, and miso soup. The tuna tartare was also delicious. The prices are quite high, so I might save it for a special occasion next time.
