I bought an iced coffee to pass the time. It was a take-out Americano for 700 yen. It was the cheapest coffee available, but I couldn't see any value in it at all. It's tastier than coffee from chain cafes like Doutor, but not worth the price.

LEAVES COFFEE, located right by Kuramae Kyubashi, also has an attached burger shop called APARTMENT. This time, I visited for takeout only, so I didn't see the interior, but from what I could see through the stand window, it seemed to have a slightly American atmosphere with wood accents.
Today, I tried the Ethiopian coffee for 750 yen (iced for an additional 50 yen). They use only single-origin beans roasted in-house. The cup had a pleasant fruity aroma, with a balance of sweetness and acidity. Taking it for a picnic in the nearby Sumida Park by the Sumida River could be a nice experience.

I stopped by with my family on our way back from a walk. I ordered a café latte. The taste was mild, with the coffee's bitterness and acidity being subtle and the milk flavor being strong. We arrived shortly after the café opened at 10 a.m., but it seemed like they were still getting ready as the person who served us seemed bothered by the stroller and my wife. I'm not sure if they were the manager or not, but if I see someone with a center-parted black hair again, I might feel uncomfortable and not go back. If you don't mind the service, it might be okay, but I don't think I'll go back, especially with kids.

Before heading to a neighborhood lunch, I stopped by the coffee shop next to Maclean Burger in Kuramae and got a takeout coffee. I ordered a Brazil Geisha Graf, which had a floral and berry flavor profile that was very delicious and highlighted the sweetness.

When it comes to Kuramae, LEAVES is the place to be. I got off at Kuramae station with the intention of visiting this cafe. I was recommended either Brazil or Panama, and when it comes to Panama, it's all about Geisha Esmeralda. So, I ordered that. I've had Geisha Esmeralda many times before, but I think the roasting and extraction of this one was the best I've ever had. I'm thinking of visiting the roastery next time.

There are many stylish cafes near Kura-mae. When I asked for latte art, they kindly did it for me. The latte was delicious. You can enjoy your coffee while looking at the Skytree by the Sumida River in front of the shop. ♡

I am a big coffee lover, and LEAVES is the top champion in roasting near Tokyo. Their dedication to the quality of beans is amazing. I enjoy trying different types of specialty coffee, so I can appreciate the differences in processing, variety, origin, and producers. I tried an espresso and a milk beverage, and I could really taste how the flavor changed with temperature. I like both dark roasted drip coffee and light roasted specialty coffee, so if you love coffee, I recommend visiting LEAVES, Filocoffia, MAMEYA, and GLITCH. The baristas gave great explanations, and I found the discussions about flavors very interesting. The service was also excellent. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

This coffee shop had a great reputation based on reviews. I stopped by for a coffee break during my morning run (not true). The shop is located in the trendy cafe area near Kuramae Station, known as the "New Cafe Grand Prix". It's right next to the hamburger shop McLean, or maybe it's the same shop. There are no seats, only takeout. The shop looks cute, like something you'd find at Disneyland or Ito-Yokado.
I ordered an iced cafe latte for 600 yen. It was made with a single origin coffee and plenty of milk. I can't remember the type of beans, but it was a light roast, and even with the milk, you could still taste the beans' freshness and slight bitterness. However, I find that iced coffee doesn't have as much flavor as hot coffee, and adding milk dilutes it further, so I won't comment on that. But on a pleasant summer holiday afternoon with a nice breeze, sitting on a bench at the Sumida River Terrace, watching cruise ships pass by on the water while nibbling on a choux cream puff and sipping a cafe latte, it was a delicious experience. It made me truly appreciate coming to Tokyo. Life is short, and holidays are rare, so it's okay to act a bit like a city person from time to time.

The name of the shop is "Leaves Coffee Apartment" and it opened on May 17, 2016. It is run by Yasuo Ishii, the owner of the specialty coffee shop "Mightysteps Coffee Stop" in Nihonbashi, which has been widely supported by people of all ages. The menu includes two types of single origin drip coffee (Kenya and Honduras) and espresso made with Brazilian beans. The reviewer ordered an Iced Cafe Latte for 660 yen, which was smooth, milky, and had a soft yet strong coffee flavor. The coffee beans used were from FUGLEN, known for their high-quality and gentle taste that is likely to be well-received even in the quiet neighborhood of Kuramae.

A small coffee stand near the Sumida River. It seems to be takeout only. They drip the coffee right in front of you, and you can enjoy the nice aroma while waiting for it to be ready. It's very pleasant to take a walk along the Sumida River with a cup of coffee in hand. There are many delicious coffee shops in Kuramae, so I would like to visit again! Thank you for the meal!

The café latte is ¥600. The acidity of the coffee flavor comes through even with the milk, allowing you to fully enjoy the coffee flavor. The milk is plentiful and smooth, with no bitterness from the coffee due to its acidity. Recommended for those who don't like the bitterness of coffee. The lattes from coffee specialty shops are truly delicious. I want to go on a tour of coffee specialty shops.

On this day, after lunch in the direction of Asakusabashi, I decided to stop by here on my way back home. The weather was nice, perfect for a leisurely walk along the Sumida River Terrace (walkway).
What I had:
- Iced Café au lait for 500 yen. It was served in a takeout cup without a straw, which was convenient for the current situation. The coldness was much appreciated during the strong afternoon sun. It was delicious. I recommend it for a stroll.

I walked along the Sumida River Terrace on the weekend and then headed to LEAVES COFFEE APARTMENT at the foot of Kyuhashi for a solo visit. I was planning to get an iced coffee to go, but the price was higher than I had imagined. However, I couldn't bring myself to say no to the atmosphere with the staff, so I ended up ordering the cheapest iced Americano. They poured ice water into a paper cup, added freshly made espresso, stirred it, and it was ready to drink.

The area around Kuramae is always trying to change the cafe I stop by, but there are still many nice cafes. Coffee stands are really good after all. I bought an iced cafe latte for takeout. The atmosphere of the shop is very nice, the coffee is delicious. I found a wonderful shop.

I ordered a recommended type of coffee while strolling from Kuramae to Asakusa. The coffee had a refreshing taste with a strong flavor and no strange acidity. It was perfect to drink as iced coffee!! There is a road along the Sumida River nearby, so I enjoyed looking at the Skytree while sipping my coffee and felt really good. ◎

Today, my usual holiday activity of walking was replaced by a short bike ride with my trusty companion of 8 years. We went to Sumida Park for a little cherry blossom viewing, and the sakura trees were in full bloom, absolutely beautiful! After that, we took a quick break at a coffee stand. The staff there were very friendly and recommended a fruity iced coffee that helped me relax and regain my energy. I even won the third prize on PayPay twice today! I couldn't resist trying the coffee that the staff recommended (laughs). Thank you to Leaves Coffee Apartment for a great cherry blossom bike trip.

On the second day of my Tokyo trip, I decided to spend the whole day visiting cafes. By around 4 pm, I had already been to 6 cafes... I was starting to feel a bit sick from drinking too much coffee, but since I don't come to Tokyo often, I decided to keep going. It might seem a bit much, but I was having fun so I went with it. I arrived at a coffee stand near Kuramae Station on the Toei Subway. The location was great, with the Sumida River flowing nearby. They had a long bench outside. I chose my coffee from about 5 different flavors and they carefully hand-dripped each cup in front of me. When I asked if I could take a photo of them brewing, they gladly agreed. It was a popular spot with a constant flow of customers, especially on a Sunday. It was a trendy and delicious coffee shop.

On this day, I had to go to Kuranomae for work. I had walked from Asakusabashi to Asakusa before, so it felt like just passing through, but when I got off at Kuranomae Station, I was surprised to see that there were two stations for Toei Asakusa Line and Oedo Line, allowing for unexpected transfers. There were many trendy coffee shops lined up, which was surprising. I wanted to try Coffee Noire, but it turned out they were closed on Thursdays! Oh no. Is this for real... So I looked for another cafe nearby, and on my way to the customer's place, I stumbled upon a trendy coffee shop called "LEAVES COFFEE APARTMENT," which seemed to be paired with a stylish hamburger joint. A lovely lady welcomed me with a smile. It seemed like they only offered takeout, so I chose a drip coffee for 620 yen from outside. I received various explanations about the beans and chose ETHIOPIA WORKA SAKARO. It's a coffee that is easy to drink even when you're full, with a fruity aroma. I waited eagerly as it was dripped right in front of me. Just as explained, it had a sweet scent like strawberries or blueberries at first, and it was a delicious coffee that was refreshing and easy to drink. Kuranomae is quite nice. Thank you for the meal. I will come back again!

Located in front of Kuramae Station along the Sumida River, there is a coffee shop inside the famous hamburger joint "McLean." While primarily for takeout, you can also enjoy your coffee inside the shop if there are no burger customers. A cup of hand-drip coffee costs 620 yen, with a quick brewing process and a slightly mild flavor. It has a Starbucks-like vibe and is not too hot, making it suitable even for those with sensitive tongues. Gentlemen, why not enjoy a delicious burger with your favorite girl, grab a takeout coffee, and take a leisurely stroll along the Sumida River? It's sure to be a great date plan.

I went there on Sunday at noon! The hamburger shop in front of me had a line, so the shop was easy to find. The hand drip coffee is basically a light roast single origin! I ordered Kenya and Ethiopia. When it came out, I was surprised by the rich aroma of the coffee! The taste had just the right amount of acidity and both were so delicious that I could drink them up quickly! The waitress kindly explained everything, so even beginners can enjoy the coffee.
