But on a pleasant summer holiday afternoon with a nice breeze, sitting on a bench at the Sumida River Terrace, watching cruise ships pass by on the water while nibbling on a choux cream puff and sipping a cafe latte, it was a delicious experience. It made me truly appreciate coming to Tokyo. Life is short, and holidays are rare, so it's okay to act a bit like a city person from time to time.
