Evaluation Score: Kuaina is famous in Japan, but this small shop is the first store in Japan. Surprisingly, there is only one store in Hawaii, while Japan has a significantly larger number of stores for this mysterious burger joint. As the main store, even if you have been to other Kuaina locations, it is worth visiting this one at least once. The floor is narrow, and there is no elevator, so it is not recommended for those with baby strollers or weak legs. Also, the prices are quite high. Maybe higher than other shops...? Or is it just my imagination? Perhaps it's the Aoyama price. The burgers themselves are very juicy and delicious, so I rate it 3.2 stars.
Trigger/Purpose: When I was in the Omotesando area looking for lunch, I wandered around but couldn't find a good restaurant. In the end, I decided to go to the Kuaina main store since I had never been there before.
Location/Waiting Time/Seating/Ambiance/Customers/Wifi/Toilet/Smoking/Baby Strollers, etc: About a 5-minute walk from Omotesando Station. The shop is tall and has a total of 3 or 4 floors. There is no elevator. While there are many Kuaina locations in Japan, this small shop seems to be the first store. The atmosphere is somewhat Hawaiian and stylish. The other customers were a mix of young people and those in their 40s. Sitting next to me were a family who seemed to be visiting Omotesando to scout for a wedding venue. It's a bit challenging to bring a baby stroller to this shop. You need to fold it and leave it on the first floor, then carry the child separately to the upper floors.
Food (Order Reason, Taste, Quantity, Waiting Time, etc):
- LUNCH SET BBQ Thick Cut Cheddar Cheese Burger (¥1,500 tax included)
The lunch set includes a drink for ¥1,500... it's expensive, but well, it's Omotesando so it's understandable. The food itself was delicious. When I was younger, I could finish it easily, but now it's a struggle to finish it. The meat was juicy and tasty, and it was quite filling. Eating on the upper floor allows for a more relaxed dining experience as the staff's attention is not as focused.
Desired Points: It seems impossible, but having an elevator for barrier-free access would be nice. Also, the high prices may be unavoidable...
