I made a reservation for lunch buffet at Shinjuku Rambutan, a Thai restaurant located on the 7th floor of Shinjuku Nakamuraya Building. I was impressed by how such a cost-effective restaurant with a beautiful interior is located so close to the station. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is popular among female customers. I enjoyed creating my own Tom Yum Kung by adding my favorite ingredients (lots of coriander) to Pho and Sen Mee noodles. I also tried dishes such as Yum Woon Sen, Gai Yang, Gai Tod, Squid and Cucumber Herb Marinated Salad, Gapao Rice, Green Curry, Massaman Curry, and Coriander Tempura. Some dishes were authentically spicy, which gave me a pleasant challenge. The detox water and various flavored teas helped to soothe the spiciness. However, I would have loved it even more if they had coffee available at the end of the meal. I have found my favorite lunch spot in Shinjuku!

Located in Shinjuku Nakamuraya Building, this Thai buffet offers a 90-minute all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink (including tea and detox water) experience. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. They have jasmine rice, so you can make your own Gapao rice. The highlight here is definitely the "fresh noodle Pad Thai"! A bell rings every hour to signal when the fresh Pad Thai is ready. It's best when it's hot and fresh, so as soon as the bell rings, everyone rushes to get some. The noodles are chewy and filled with lots of ingredients, delicious!! However, on the day I visited, the bell was ringing every 30 minutes probably due to the crowd. For my final dish, I tried a little bit of each curry (green, red, yellow) as a soup. I think I like the green curry the most.

Located right near Shinjuku Station, this restaurant is perfect for families with strollers as there is plenty of space to relax. The food is delicious and great value for money. The staff quickly clear away dishes and the service is prompt. We visited for lunch on a weekend in Shinjuku and were able to make a same-day reservation. The Pad Thai with fresh noodles served every hour is amazing. Highly recommended for fans of Thai cuisine.

The 3,300 yen course had a variety of appetizers which were satisfying. The shumai was delicious. The chili sauce was good. The tom yum goong was just one bite, I wish there was more. The harami was tender and tasty. The Thai dish, pad thai, had delicious chewy noodles. The dessert was also satisfying. The coriander sour was average. I tried eating this coriander with the pad thai.

It was my first time, but the restaurant was spacious and open! The menu was extensive and delicious. The green curry in particular was exquisite!! The mango-based dressing on the salad was sweet and tasty. The person I went with loves cilantro and was delighted with the all-you-can-eat option. The waiter in the blue shirt was very friendly and efficient, quickly clearing plates and replenishing food. It was a bit disappointing that there was no coffee. We enjoyed a delicious meal to our hearts' content thanks to the all-you-can-eat option. Thank you for the meal.

Cafe Rambutan on the 7th floor of Shinjuku Nakamuraya Building is a stylish Thai restaurant with a great location. It is conveniently connected to the basement. The dishes use ingredients like pak choi, lemongrass, red pepper, and coconut milk, but they are adjusted to suit Japanese tastes, making them easy to enjoy. Highly recommended are the vermicelli salad and coconut milk Tom Yum Kung with head prawns. Despite being in Shinjuku, the prices are reasonable. The portions are generous, allowing for sharing and variety. The restaurant is spacious, making it suitable for girls' nights out or large groups.

I made a last-minute reservation on a weekday and was able to secure a spacious sofa seat in a relaxed atmosphere. The Thai flavors with a mild taste suited for Japanese people were perfectly balanced. Both the ambiance and the dishes were just right for a meal with two girls.

I visited for lunch on a weekday. Since I made a reservation for just after 1 pm on a weekday, the restaurant was not crowded and I was able to enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace. The Tom Yum Kung soup had a mellow sourness with plenty of coconut milk.

◼️◼️◼️【Order】Lunch Buffet 2,200 yen ◼️◼️◼️【Wait】No wait at 13:00 on weekdays, the restaurant is 80% full. You can choose from a la carte or buffet options. I felt like trying a variety of dishes, so I visited for the buffet. ◼️◼️◼️【Taste】I started by going around the buffet table, which was filled with a wide variety of dishes from appetizers to stir-fries and bread. There were two types of curry - red and green, and there was also Gapao, which I used as a base for my meal. The rice, both Jasmine and plain, were perfect. The curries were delicious, not too spicy but with authentic flavors. I tried "Coriander Root Fritters" for the first time, which was refreshing with tartar sauce. Each dish had its own sauce, which added to the enjoyment. There was also a DIY pho corner where you could make your own noodle soup with shrimp, bean sprouts, and other ingredients. It was also very tasty. They had condiments for adjusting the spiciness, which was great. For dessert, there was a coconut cream soup with glutinous rice balls similar to Bua Loy, mango pudding, and mango roll cake. The dessert selection was also great. ◼️◼️◼️【Impression】The cost performance was good. In fact, it was quite cheap considering the variety and quality of the dishes. I might come back once a month.

I suddenly felt like eating Thai food, so I visited this restaurant! The variety of drinks was great, and the taste was authentic. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also lovely. I highly recommend the Tom Yum Goong. The cost performance is excellent. I definitely want to go back soon.

- A Thai restaurant located in the famous curry restaurant Nakamuraya in Shinjuku. - The flavors are more tailored towards Japanese tastes, lacking a strong punch but still easy to enjoy. - The spacious interior and moderate distance between tables allow for a relaxing atmosphere and lively conversations. - Nakamuraya Building is conveniently located near the station, with underground access available even on rainy days.

I felt like eating Thai food and came here. It's great that the appetizer is soup! And it's delicious! I had tuna and avocado tartare, shrimp toast, Pad Thai, Khao Man Gai, chicken, mango pudding, and almond jelly. The Pad Thai was a bit spicy, but delicious!

On weekends, the restaurant is very crowded at night. It may not be suitable for those who want a quiet meal or a date, but the food is delicious and cost-effective! Many Thai restaurants in Shinjuku lack cleanliness, but this one is okay.

The Holiday Lunch Buffet (2,950 yen) includes dishes like Som Tam, Yam Wun Sen, Gai Tod, and Khao Man Gai, along with 3 types of curry and 3 types of soup. The soups seem to be specifically designed to complement the Pho, so Tom Kha Gai might not stand out on its own. All the curries are delicious, but the Yellow Curry with shrimp and clams is the best.

This is a Thai buffet restaurant near Shinjuku Station. We were seated at a table, but the sofa was torn and there were piles of dirty dishes nearby. The food selection was limited and only a few dishes were tasty, making it feel overpriced. There were groups of elderly men and young women dining, but it's questionable if they enjoyed it. The only saving grace was being able to relax in the cool restaurant for 90 minutes.

I was in the mood to eat a lot of cilantro, so I revisited this restaurant. I didn't come at night because it's not a buffet, but you can still enjoy plenty of Thai dishes on the evening a la carte menu! The food was delicious, but the service was disappointing. It's a shame that it's so tasty but the service is lacking.

The all-you-can-eat Thai cuisine deal was great, with three different types of curry available, especially the green curry which was delicious. The spiciness was milder compared to what I've had in Thailand, making it easy to eat a lot. Although the variety was a bit limited, considering the prices at other restaurants, I think it's quite a good deal.

I went to a Thai cuisine buffet with my cute junior, and more than half of the dishes had coriander in them! I love it!! The overall menu had a lot of fried dishes with ethnic-flavored sauces, which were delicious! The curries (Yellow, Green, Red) were all authentic and tasty, and the Khao Man Gai and Pad Krapow were delicious too! And being able to eat them with my favorite Jasmine rice made it a blissful experience. The mango pudding dessert was rich and delightful. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be either the Red Curry or the ethnic-style braised pork. I love Thai food so much that I ended up trying almost all the dishes from one end to the other!

I attended a farewell party for a colleague at this restaurant. The course meal included a variety of Thai dishes, with appetizers full of Asian flavors and Tom Yum Kung soup. You can also choose from rice and noodles dishes like Pad Thai and Khao Man Gai. The drink menu offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, but I wish there were more Asian-inspired options. The restaurant is clean and has a lot of female staff, making it a great recommendation for women.

Located on the 7th floor of Nakamuraya in Shinjuku, this Thai restaurant is accessible from the underground, so you can avoid getting wet in the rain. One advantage is that it has 120 seats, so you can usually get in without waiting, depending on the time. It tends to get crowded around 12:30. It's easy to dine alone. The menu includes a buffet option and regular lunch items. I ordered the Pad Thai + Mini Khao Man Gai set (1650 yen). The Pad Thai and Khao Man Gai are half and half, so it's a bit pricey, but if you don't get the half and half, it's around 1200 yen. The set includes soup, salad, and dessert. The Pad Thai is like a seafood-rich version of Japanese yakisoba, with a mix of sourness and spiciness. The Khao Man Gai has tender meat and a great sauce with a nice ginger kick.

I visited this place for dinner before and it was so delicious, so this time I came for lunch! The Thai cuisine buffet is amazing! There are plenty of dishes from appetizers to main courses, soups, and desserts, and all of them are delicious! I made a salad with lettuce and appetizers. The pork was delicious, and the three types of curry from the curry fair were also delicious. There are no disappointments in the buffet. Everything was delicious and I ate until I was full. I will definitely go back again!! The best!!
