◆Ramen 650 yen The soup is based on emulsified chicken and pork broth, with a strong impression of chicken. The seafood broth flavor is weak, probably due to the addition of fish powder to the chicken and pork broth. It is rich in flavor but not as heavy as it looks. It lacks a soy sauce edge, with a mild saltiness. I tried the soup split with noodles and even mixed with rice after finishing the noodles, which was a first for me. After finishing the noodles, I asked for the soup to be returned. The soup clearly became lighter in color and the flavor less intense. Adding fish powder from the table brought back the seafood flavor. The noodles are medium-thick, slightly curly, with a Sapporo ramen-like impression. They have a nice chewiness and complement the soup well. The thick chicken chashu is impressive – tender, juicy, and gently seasoned. The bamboo shoots have a good crunch. The flavored egg is nicely seasoned and delicious. ◆Today's pilaf rice 120 yen Served in a small bowl with minimal ingredients, but well-seasoned and great value for money! The bowl is preheated, ensuring everything is piping hot, including the flavored egg. The luxurious ingredients and the effort put into the soup make this 650 yen meal a great bargain! The neighboring restaurant is also popular, making this area a ramen battleground! Is this competitive pricing a result of their fighting spirit? The rich chicken, pork, and seafood broth with a mild saltiness is a unique and delicious soup that I haven't encountered often. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

I visited around 1:00 PM on Sunday. There were a few parking spaces available, and the restaurant was full with about 2 people waiting in line, but I was able to buy my meal ticket at the machine and place my order before seating. I ordered the Garlic Vegetable Tsukemen (medium) and the daily rice special (small), which was topped with pork fat. I'm not familiar with how to order at Jiro-style ramen places, so I didn't make any special requests and what I received is shown in the photo. The pork fat rice was lightly seared with a burner before serving, giving off a fragrant aroma. I thought about pouring the dipping sauce over it after finishing, but it was too late. I don't go to ramen shops often, so I'm not sure about the type of broth used, but the tsukemen wasn't as rich as I imagined and was delicious. I added extra garlic halfway through, which changed the flavor quite a bit and made it more enjoyable. I usually leave some soup behind, so I didn't try the soup refill, but if I have the chance when I don't have to worry about work the next day, I would like to go back again. Thank you for the meal.

Visited at 7 pm on a regular night and half of the seats were already taken. When I asked the owner, they said it's a completely different shop from the popular one in Omiya. I ordered the large tsukemen for about 900 yen, and the cost performance was great with no price increase. As for the taste, it was different from the popular shop in Saitama, more like a delicious version of Kotteri from Tenkaippin. They have a variety of menu items besides tsukemen, and it seemed to have many regular customers. If you're nearby, definitely give it a try.

I visited for the first time. After much deliberation, I ordered the medium-sized Char siu tsukemen. When the noodles came out, there was more than I expected, and I was worried if I could finish it, but I managed to just barely fit it in my stomach. The Char siu was delicious. Next time, I'll order the small size noodles...

I visited for lunch. I had been here before, so it was a revisit. I ordered the tsukemen with extra bean sprouts and garlic. I think I got the large size noodles. The taste was good. However, it wasn't incredibly delicious. Well, it's a matter of personal preference. Thank you for the meal!

During the busy lunchtime on the weekend, I revisited this place after 10 months and purchased a medium-sized Chashu Tsukemen at the ticket machine. Luckily, I was able to sit at the back counter seat. After a short wait, I was served with thick noodles topped with four slices of Chashu and dipping sauce. The noodles were smooth and easy to eat, and I finished off with the soup. Thank you for the meal.

Musashi-Yamato Station / Signal Fire House [Even though I thought I had charged it, the battery died.] Today is the first day of work, right? I'm having a hard time getting into the right mood, but I have to get back on track! First things first, food!!! I planned to drive to Ichigaya, quickly eat, and then head back home. But as soon as I turned the key, the battery was dead! OMG, the battery is dead! I usually double-check things like turning off the interior lights when I get off the car, but I must have forgotten this time. I called my insurance company, and they provided free assistance, but now my car needed to be recharged. So, after starting the engine and driving a bit, I decided to find a ramen shop to pass the time. Unfortunately, both Egawatei and Nozaru were closed, so I ended up going a bit further to a place called Signal Fire House. When I arrived at the shop around 3 pm, there were only 3 customers inside, no waiting line. The menu had a wide variety of options, and I was a bit lost, but I managed to find a ramen that seemed like it belonged to the G-style category. The person in front of me seemed to have ordered the same one, and I noticed them checking out how the vegetables and oil were served, and they even gave me a glance. I didn't mind, though. As I was taking a picture of the exterior of the shop, I felt like I was being watched. When the shop owner served the vegetables, the customer asked if it was enough, and I realized that was the right time to make requests. So when it was my turn, I asked for extra oil, and the response was a bit annoyed. However, they eventually provided the extra oil separately. Now, onto the review. The taste was similar to the large ramen at Ramen Dai. I felt it lacked a bit of richness, but the soy sauce flavor was spot on. The vegetables were crunchy and just right. The pork was small but tender and delicious. The best part was the noodles, with a smooth and chewy texture that I really enjoyed. I thought that if the soup had a bit more depth, the shop would attract even more customers. The dish I ordered was called Garlic Vegetables, and you could choose between soy sauce and miso flavors without any additional charge. The price was reasonable, with the small size costing 700 yen. There were also fish powder, garlic, and vinegar on the table, which was a nice touch. I tried different combinations while eating, and the free fish powder was also good! I finished the meal with a burst of vinegar. However, when I received the extra oil separately, it felt a bit unsettling as it was basically lard in a container. I might have to avoid asking for extra oil in the future. Overall, the experience was a bit of a disaster since the Golden Week. I have a 6-day work week ahead of me. On Saturday, I was told that there was no pork at Senkawa Black Revenge. I'm thinking of trying takeout for the first time. What a start to the week...2023rd bowl of ramen#Musashi-Yamato#Signal Fire House#Garlic Vegetables (small)#Couldn't make a request#Noodles were delicious#Already beyond the point of no return#Battery died#Ramen Jiro#Jiro#Jiro-inspired#Jiro-style#Jirolian#Would you like garlic#Jiro Stamp Rally#Ramen#Ramen#ramen#Noodles#ramen Instagrammer#Noodle Instagrammer#Noodlegram#Ramen Patrol#Want to connect with ramen lovers#Bane Log#bane_log

On this day, I drove around the Tama area in the rain. Oh, the convenience of a car is especially appreciated on rainy days. For lunch, I searched online for a restaurant where I could park my car and found a ramen shop called "Noroshiya." Yeah, it's cold outside, so ramen sounds good. The nearest station to the shop is Musashi-Yamato Station on the Seibu Tama Lake Line, but it's 1.4km away from the station, which takes about 19 minutes to walk. Well, it's not a distance you can't walk, but a car is more convenient. I arrived at 1:20 pm on that day. The parking lot is located across the street from the shop. It can accommodate about 10 cars, but it's a bit tricky to park, so you need to be careful. But just having a parking lot is appreciated. The shop was established in December 2001, so it's been around for about 21 years. The name of the shop is "Noroshiya." There was no wait, and I was able to enter smoothly. There are only counter seats for 10 people in the shop, which is run by two middle-aged men. Orders are placed using a ticket machine to purchase meal tickets. The menu is roughly divided into ramen and tsukemen, but there are a lot of varieties. I didn't do any research, so I decided to go with the basic "ramen" of this shop. Of course, I ordered the large portion... The toppings include chashu, seasoned egg, menma, seaweed, and chopped green onions. When I took a sip of the soup, I could taste the flavor of seafood, followed by a strong umami from animal ingredients. At first, it was thick, so I thought it was a combination of tonkotsu soup and seafood broth, but this is a combination of chicken white broth and seafood broth. Seafood tonkotsu ramen is common, but I think a ramen that combines chicken white broth and seafood broth is rare. The noodles are medium-thick and slightly curly. They have a high water content and a smooth texture. The large portion is about 280g. The chashu is made of chicken, not pork. I didn't know at first, so I was surprised. It's nice to have a seasoned egg included by default. The large portion for 770 yen is quite cheap, considering that ramen these days often costs over 1,000 yen. Alright, next time I'll try the tsukemen.

A shop with rich soup and thick slices of chashu that is delicious. There is always a line during lunch time. I visited during lunch time. The shop is located about a 15-minute walk from Musashi-Yamato Station on the Seibu Tama Lake Line. It is recommended to visit by car because it is far. I have visited this shop a few times in the past. I remember that both the tsukemen and ramen were delicious. The soup is rich, but something seems to be missing compared to the past... or maybe my memory is wrong... The noodles and chashu were very delicious and satisfying. The staff greeted me energetically, which was nice, but the sound of clattering dishes was a bit distracting... Overall, I enjoyed a delicious meal!

Visited again in the same month for the evening session after 8:30 PM. There were 3 customers before us, and there were seats available. I ordered the miso chashu ramen using PayPay as part of the ongoing campaign in Higashiyamato City. The miso soup was quite rich in flavor. The chashu was thick and small, with a seasoned egg included. The portion of noodles was just right, and I finished it all.

Garlic Vegetable Ramen (small) with extra garlic, less vegetables - It may be a bit rude to say this, but this place gives off a Jiro-style vibe even though it's not a Jiro-style ramen shop. However, I really love this place. The flavors are gentle and make me want to eat more. The menu is diverse, and I get excited thinking about what to order next. It had been a few years since my last visit, but I will definitely be back soon.

I went to "Noroshiya" in Musashi Yamato. The Char Siu Ramen costs 900 yen. It has a rich and creamy fish broth pork bone soy sauce with a thick and salty flavor. The soup is strong and combines the best of pork bone soy sauce and house style ramen. The medium curly noodles are chewy and satisfying. The thick pork shoulder char siu is soaked in the soup. It's worth trying the Char Siu Ramen. It also comes with a half-boiled egg. Even the regular size of Char Siu Ramen is quite filling. There are fish powder, red pepper, and fresh garlic on the table for flavor variation. It's a hearty meal that won't leave you feeling heavy. It's not within walking distance from the station, but there is a parking lot and bicycle parking across the street.

I've been really into ramen lately. I've been eating less than usual, so finishing a regular-sized bowl is tough, so I tried ordering a small size. It was delicious! Personally, I also really like the vegetable garlic tsukemen. Next time, I want to try the spicy and miso flavors.

=Visited during an early lunch time. Tried tsukemen for the first time, which I had never eaten before, using the ticket machine. The thick noodles took a little while to cook. The finished noodles were quite good. The mini bowl I ordered was fried rice. It was very crowded because it was the first day of the PayPay campaign in Higashiyamato City.

For some reason, just before a long holiday, Atas tends to work seriously. It's the day before the Bon holiday, so my body is moving on its own. It's 4:30 pm, and I'm really hungry. Since it's a continuous operation, I decide to go for a hearty ramen meal. There are two ramen shops side by side in this area, both quite popular. I've been meaning to visit one of them, so this seems like a good opportunity. It's convenient that they have a parking lot. There's only one other customer, so I decide to go for the tsukemen. I order the Chashu Tsukemen (medium) and a limited edition rice bowl from the ticket machine. Surprisingly, the staff member starts getting ready to leave even though it's a one-person operation. Another person comes out to serve me. The tsukemen is served in a unique bowl with a thick rim. The thick, creamy double soup reminds me of something I've had before. I add fish powder and chili pepper from the table to adjust the flavor. The 280g medium noodles are gone in no time. The chashu looks like pork belly but turns out to be chicken. I almost got tricked there. I prefer pork, though. The limited edition rice bowl is corn rice, but it's a bit dry and lacks corn. Not worth the 200 yen. I make my own original bowl with chicken chashu and seasoned egg, adding some dipping sauce for extra flavor. My hunger is satisfied, but I feel like something is missing. I might go to LAWSON's Uchi Cafe to buy a GODIVA roll cake.

[Order] Garlic vegetable tsukemen (regular) 750 yen, double the vegetables, no garlic [Review] When I visited before, I decided to try a Jiro-style ramen next time. It was a hot day when I visited, so I ordered my first Jiro-style tsukemen. When ordering, they asked about the amount of vegetables, so I called for normal or double. I also requested no garlic. I'm not sure if this was the right way to order, but the staff seemed very friendly, so I didn't think they would get mad. When the bowl arrived, I noticed that the amount of vegetables was more modest compared to the original or inspired versions. Even women could easily finish the double portion. Personally, I found the dipping sauce to be very delicious, and I remember drinking it all up eagerly after finishing the noodles and vegetables. Now that I know the Jiro-style ramen at Okamiya is delicious, I would like to try their Jiro-style ramen next time, which seems to have a generous portion. Thanks to the traffic jam on the Ome Street, I ended up revisiting this place for lunch the following month. There were still empty spaces in the free parking lot for 10 cars in front of the store. I tried the salt ramen with chashu noodles, which I had never eaten before. The soup was rich with a punchy saltiness that complemented the pork bone broth well. I now want to try the tsukemen next time.

On the last day of Golden Week, I decided to have lunch before going shopping in Tachikawa, so I visited a restaurant that I had seen with a line outside. When I arrived at the opening time, there was no wait and the parking lot was empty. I noticed a sign that said "Please request extra toppings when you hand in your meal ticket," so I realized this place might offer extra toppings like "masimasu." I decided to play it safe and ordered a small portion of tsukemen from the ticket machine. I sat at the counter with about 12 seats, with only two other customers inside. As I listened to the orders of the other customers who arrived later, it seemed like a Jiro-inspired restaurant. The tsukemen arrived shortly, with a rich dipping sauce, slightly curly medium-thick noodles, char siu, and seaweed. When I tried the noodles alone, I didn't taste much flavor and they felt oddly short. When I dipped them in the sauce, it was not too salty but had a strong, rich animal-based broth. It wasn't too heavy and was easy to eat. After eating about half, I tried the flavored egg hidden in the sauce, then took a bite of the thick-cut char siu. Oh no, I couldn't eat it. The pork had a strong smell that I couldn't handle. This must be a problem with how it was prepared. It's just not for me. It seems like Jiro-style restaurants are too challenging for me. Thank you for the meal.

I returned to Higashiyamato and had lunch at "Kouenya". I ordered "Garlic Vegetable Miso (small)" for 700 yen and "Garlic Vegetable (small)" for 700 yen by oral order as PayPay was not available at the ticket machine. I received a 420 yen refund through the "Let's do our best, Higashiyamato! Campaign" at eligible stores. Both dishes were served in a bowl with plenty of bean sprouts. The "Garlic Vegetable Miso (small)" had thinner noodles compared to the "Garlic Vegetable (small)", and I preferred the latter as the noodles tended to stretch while eating the bean sprouts. The dishes were quite voluminous, mainly consisting of vegetables, and the soup had a gentle taste, so I didn't feel heavy afterwards and immediately felt like eating it again. I would like to try the regular "Ramen" next time.

=R4.4=It's been 4 months since my last visit. It's early but crowded. I ordered the slightly pricey Miso Chashu Ramen for 1100 yen using PayPay. After a 10-minute wait, the chashu looked better than last time. The soup is a strong and punchy miso flavor. The noodles are thick and hold up well to the soup. I look forward to enjoying another carefully crafted bowl during a quieter time on my next visit.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday just after noon. The interior of the restaurant is small, with only a counter and about 7-8 seats. I was able to be seated right away, but other customers who came later had to wait. I ordered the tsukemen (medium) using the ticket machine and requested it to be served hot. It was served in about 10 minutes. The soup and the bowl with noodles seemed to be dipped in hot water as they were placed on the table by the staff. It was nice to be served piping hot. The noodles were medium thickness with a slight chewy texture. On top of the noodles were thickly sliced chashu and seaweed. The soup contained a seasoned egg and bamboo shoots. It's nice to have a seasoned egg included in a regular tsukemen. The soup seemed to be pork bone-based with a hint of seafood flavor. It was rich but not too heavy, with a good taste. The medium-thick noodles paired well with the soup, providing a satisfying texture. The thick chashu was tender and cooked in a sweet and savory sauce. I would definitely want to have more of this chashu. Overall, it was a well-balanced tsukemen. Thank you for the meal.
