It has expanded to 11 countries including Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, the UK, and the US. In Japan, there are 11 branches located in Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Ueno, Akihabara, Yokohama Chinatown, Kawasaki, Yokohama Station, Makuhari Seaside, Shinsaibashi, Sannomiya, and Fukuoka (as of June 2023).
The first store was opened in Sichuan, China in 1994, and it gained popularity for its unique customer service such as handing out hand towels to customers using the restroom and staff performing dances. On this day, we ordered a la carte. The vegetables were cut into large pieces, providing a satisfying volume. The lineup of wagyu beef matched well with any soup base and was delicious. We ordered lobster, and by putting the head and tail into the broth, we were able to extract a delicious flavor by the time we finished our meal. Takeout is also available, so we took home the leftovers. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was exhilarating, like being in a theme park, and we had a fun time with surprise services and Kung Fu noodle dance performances.
