I go to various izakayas and Western-style bars, but Poian is the best as a bar. The bread is delicious, the drinks (champagne, wine, beer, cocktails) are delicious, and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is like a hidden gem behind a bakery, with high ceilings and a sense of openness. Plus, it's affordable. Maybe because of the Corona or because it's a weekday, they have a campaign where you can get three drinks for 1000 yen. But the quality is high. It's a great deal. I recommend the all-you-can-eat bread for 500 yen. You can eat as much bread of the highest quality as you like. They brought out about three different types at once. Even the dessert was bread. They were all very delicious. It's become a place for nearby Marunouchi OLs and company employees to relax. It's located in the basement of the Shin-Marunouchi Building, not far from Tokyo Station. It's great that you can drink in the Marunouchi mood. Highly recommended. * Review rating at the time: 3.79 * It's Western-style, but it's one of the top 100 izakayas * I recommend making a reservation before you go.

I visited "Pain AVELiNU" where I can enjoy delicious bread. The shop has a wide variety of delicious looking bread displayed. This time, I had the following: - Feta Cashew 350 yen: Bread made with feta cheese, cashew nuts, and black pepper. Goes well with wine. Delicious! - Corn Mayo 250 yen: Fluffy bread with corn and mayonnaise that go perfectly together. Delicious! - Okiami 340 yen: A stick ciabatta bread with Okiami from Sanriku mixed in. Goes well with wine and sake. - Honey Oats Organic 300 yen: Plant-based bread with organic oats and honey. The organic oats flavor is outstanding! The fluffy texture is also delicious. I enjoyed these delicious breads. Thank you for the meal.

All of the dishes were delicious, the flavors and portion sizes were just right!! It's a place I would want to come back to again and again♪ Although we made a reservation, we were seated next to the cash register which was a bit disappointing. It might be better to confirm if a table towards the back is available for a more relaxed atmosphere. However, everything was delicious and the ambiance was great, so I was very satisfied♡

Around a 5-minute walk from Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Exit. It's a shop located on the basement floor 1 of Shin Marunouchi Building where you can also eat in. Today, I purchased the following 2 items, totaling 920 yen: - Garlic Tokachi: 600 yen. The escargot butter and garlic are strong in flavor and the dish is very tasty with a soft texture. - Rouler: 320 yen. The wheat and cheese flavors are rich, and the bacon in the chewy baguette is also delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed them until the end. Thank you for the meal.

This is a bakery that satisfies your delicious endless bread cravings. They offer takeout, but during lunchtime, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat bread in the eat-in area in the back. It's a self-service format, so you can feel at ease helping yourself to as much bread as you like. The main types of bread are sliced loaf bread and hard bread. The loaf bread comes in cute mini sizes, ranging from moist bread to raisin bread, red bean bread, and slightly sweet honey or maple bread. They also occasionally have chocolate bread. The hard bread is also small in size, making it easy to say "just one more." And before you know it, your stomach is full. The menu offers main dishes with the option to add all-you-can-eat bread for an additional charge. I often opt for just soup with the bread buffet since I want to eat a lot of bread. There are several hearty main dishes available like beef and chicken, which are all very delicious with a bistro flavor. Although I mainly go for the bread, I believe this is also a great restaurant for the food itself. My favorite way to eat is dipping the bread in the soup. Previously, they had burdock soup from autumn to spring, while on my recent visit, they served cold potato soup. They provide about 6 small portions of dips like olive oil, jam, maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, cheese with herbs, which are all included and fun to try with different breads. They pay attention to the flour and baking methods, and the bread itself is really delicious. So if you are the type who enjoys eating bread plain, you will surely love it here.

I had lunch at PAIN EPI NYU in Otemachi. I arrived at 11:35 in preparation for a long line at the bakery, which is known as one of the top 100 in Japan. There were about 10 groups of 4 people each waiting in line, and after a 25-minute wait, we were able to enter at exactly 12:00. I ordered the daily special (cream stew chicken), Parmentier potatoes, a draft beer, and an iced coffee. Both dishes came with a platter of 5 types of bread and 6 dips (olive oil and fleur de sel, maple syrup, mascarpone & dried fruits, egg tartar, balsamic, and jam). The 6 dips were surprisingly delicious, and I enjoyed trying each of them with the 5 types of bread, which allowed me to enjoy 30 combinations. My favorite was the mascarpone & dried fruits dip, followed by the high-quality maple syrup. However, all of them were very delicious. The cream stew chicken and Parmentier potatoes for the main course were also very satisfying. For an additional 220 yen, you can have all-you-can-eat bread, but we were happy with the 5 types provided. Another restaurant that I definitely want to visit again has been added to my list.

The restaurant had high ratings on Tabelog, so I had high expectations for lunch. I arrived at 10:30, which was the opening time, but there was a one-hour time limit for dining, so I had to wait a bit before entering. I ended up waiting for 15 minutes at around 11:15. I ordered the house-made pate, Lyon-style salad, gratin, and bread buffet. The salad was very delicious! The gratin, which I imagined would be a chunk of meat, turned out to be minced meat more like a gratin dish. The bread, however, was disappointingly dry, like it was leftover from the day before. There was a good deal with the bread buffet as it included bread sold in-store, but overall, it seemed like everything needed to be toasted to be enjoyable. I guess it would be a nice place for bread enthusiasts, but I was disappointed due to high expectations.

Poanne Éric located on the basement floor 1 of Shin Maru Building is a popular bakery known for its all-you-can-eat bread lunch set. I visited the shop for the first time in a while to enjoy their Shine Muscat French toast lunch at Marunouchi Front Room, followed by purchasing some bread for the evening and morning. I entered the shop at 12:40 PM and there were 2 customers ahead of me at the takeout counter and 5 customers behind me. After checking out all the items, I decided to purchase the following: - Cacao Rouge 420 yen - Amela ~ Potager ~ 330 yen - Legeru Te 1/2 380 yen Total: 1,130 yen Thoughts on the bread purchased: - Cacao Rouge: A hard bread with cranberries, walnuts, and cacao nibs; good combination with wine if available. - Amela ~ Potager ~: A savory bread made with ripe fruit tomatoes on honey oats dough, delicious with the acidity of the fruit tomatoes. - Legeru Te 1/2: A fluffy eating bread with mascarpone cream, reminiscent of the Yamazaki Double Soft bread. Enjoyed it as is, lightly toasted, and as an open sandwich with cream cheese and Shine Muscat on top. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience at Poanne Éric.

I searched for a place to eat lunch at 15:30, and found a restaurant that serves lunch until 16:30. It is convenient for those who work with different schedules. The restaurant is located in Shin-Marunouchi Building, accessible from Tokyo Station through the underground passage. The daily lunch special was delicious, and it comes with 5 types of bread and 6 types of dip sauces. You can enjoy all-you-can-eat bread for an additional ¥220. The atmosphere of the restaurant is chic, and mostly women were dining there, but it is welcoming to individuals dining alone or men as well. You toast the bread yourself, but I couldn't find the toaster. Next time, I'll make sure to ask where it is.

On Saturdays at 3:30pm, you can order the following dishes at this restaurant: Oderatore (420 yen), Maple (420 yen), Garlic Tokachi (600 yen), and Rure (320 yen). The Maple dessert is moist and delicious. The restaurant is located a 1-minute walk from Tokyo Station on the Marunouchi Line. They accept payment through transportation IC cards.

I always wanted to visit this bakery. I chose various savory breads aside from the long red bean bun and white bread. Each one of them was so delicious that I was impressed. I heard that they offer all-you-can-eat bread for lunch, so I definitely want to go back for that. The customer service was also excellent.

Bakery & Bistro located in Marunouchi. The bakery sells carefully baked bread made from scratch, while the bistro offers dishes and wine that pair well with the bread. The location is a 2-minute walk from Tokyo Station, in the basement of the Shin Marunouchi Building. The front side of the shop is the bakery, and the back side is the bistro. Today, I visited the bakery. Upon entering the shop, they immediately hand you a paper cup with a small amount of iced tea, saying "We are currently offering this." They also give out samples of bread. I appreciate the samples as they help with making a purchase decision. However, I found the pushiness of the staff afterwards a bit off-putting. The staff kept recommending more bread to buy after ordering two. It was the first time I experienced such aggressive sales tactics at a bakery, which made me uncomfortable. 【An Vizier】(330 yen) - The most popular item. A long stick-shaped bread with a smooth black sugar-flavored red bean paste. The bread is slightly chewy with a generous amount of red bean paste filling. 【Piyotol】(420 yen) - The third most popular item. Contains plenty of white grape raisins and walnuts. The bread has double the amount of raisins and walnuts compared to the dough, resulting in a luxurious taste. The sweet raisins and nutty walnuts make for a delicious bread.

I wanted to try the bakery & French bistro at POINT ET LIGNE in Shin Marunouchi Building for brunch. They offer a Holiday Lunch set menu with 5 types of bread and a main dish. The set includes shrimp and avocado dip, smoked salmon cream cheese salad, and shepherd's pie. The bakery is located in B1 of the building, and the bistro is at the back. They open at 10:30, and I arrived 10 minutes early to be the first in line. The dip I saw on Instagram was impressive, especially the confiture from Romu Yuni in Kamakura. For an additional 220 yen, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat bread by picking them up from the counter. They also had different types of bread and a toaster available. The avocado dip I had was delicious! After enjoying my brunch, I was surprised to see a long line forming outside the restaurant. During busy hours, they operate on a 60-minute time limit.

Located on the basement floor of Shin Marunouchi Building is Poan Rianne, a bistro and bakery where you can eat in or take out. During lunchtime, it's common to see a line of Marunouchi office ladies at this place. The showcase displays visually appealing and simple yet delicious-looking bread. I purchased Le Gourte, Chocolat Rumi, Magreb, and a Midy. Le Gourte is a famous type of bread in the shop, and after trying a sample, I was amazed by its softness and immediately bought it. I decided to enjoy its softness without toasting it at home. Whether it's meal bread, savory bread, or pastry, all of them have their own strong flavors that make me want to visit this place every time I'm nearby.

I wanted to have bread for lunch, so I came to a place where they offer all-you-can-eat bread option. They provide a palette with condiments like jam, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil to customize the taste of the bread. Since I was already here, I decided to have the Ache Parmantier as well. It was decent, nothing exceptional. The bread was served in a basket as a starter, and you could get refills at the counter on a self-service basis. They also had a toaster so you could toast the bread if you wanted. The Regerte, which uses mascarpone cheese, was excellent with a gentle richness and sweetness. I ended up having too many refills... haha.

This day, when a person who took care of me during my work in Osaka came to Tokyo for a day trip, we made a reservation at this restaurant. It is well-reputed, so I visited with high expectations. 1. Appearance, Atmosphere, Interior: Located on the basement floor of Shin-Marunouchi Building directly connected to Tokyo Station. There are cafes and more in the surrounding area. The entrance area is crowded with customers buying bread for tomorrow. The restaurant area is in the back. The interior is stylish with gray and wooden tones, and dim lighting. It is a small space with around 30 tables, always full and quite noisy. 2. Food: We ordered several items that would go well with wine or beer. The highly-rated bread is ordered as "all-you-can-eat." The Country-Style Pate en Campaigne is well-seasoned with a balance of pork fat richness and sweetness. The accompanying pickles add a nice acidity. Soft-shell shrimp a la ajillo has a nice firm texture. The Porcini Mushroom and Mushroom Souffle Omelette has a fluffy texture that melts in your mouth, with a distinct porcini aroma. The Octopus and Daily Vegetable Lime Flavor dish pairs well with the octopus umami and lime acidity, including a variety of colorful vegetables. The bread was so good that we had seconds, enjoying the wheat aroma and various textures. 3. Staff: There was only one male server in the hall, which led to declining service quality as time passed. With only 3 staff members in the kitchen, orders piled up, causing delays in serving the dishes. The service deteriorated, and some customers expressed dissatisfaction. There is room for improvement in customer service. 4. Value: The location is excellent, with a chic atmosphere perfect for enjoying bread and wine casually. The food exceeded expectations. However, the service quality lowers overall satisfaction, affecting the value for money. 5. Other: Lunch seems promising, but it's best to avoid peak hours to prevent crowding issues.

When you enter, the lovely aroma of bread from the bakery fills the air. As you go further inside, you'll find a stylish space. The all-you-can-eat bread buffet offers a variety of breads each time, so you can eat to your heart's content. The assorted small dishes and unlimited bread seem like they could go on forever. After 7 p.m., it gets bustling with people finishing work. Reservations are a must.

Went to the Gaudi exhibition on Sunday with a friend. We both had a great time enjoying the exhibition. We had made a reservation in advance for the 4 pm session. We both like to drink, so we opted for the all-you-can-drink option. The venue was at Shin Marunouchi Building. When we arrived, we were shown to our seats. I didn't plan on taking any photos, but my friend took some, so I took a few too. The food served was perfect for accompanying the drinks. The bread was especially delicious. Both of us love walnuts, so the walnut bread was a hit. We were busy chatting with each other, so we didn't take any more photos. As the night went on, the pace of the drinks picked up - two beers, sparkling wine, highball, red and white wine. All of this for 6000 yen, which is quite reasonable. The atmosphere was casual, and we could relax and enjoy ourselves. Just so you know, it was quite busy on a Sunday, so it might be a good idea to make a reservation in advance. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at a popular French bistro in the late afternoon on the weekend. There seemed to be a wait inside, so I gave up and just got some bread to go. I chose a cardamom roll, a bread with grapes and figs, and the apple Danish pastry in the photo. I love cardamom rolls, so I found it very delicious with its soft texture and flavorful taste. I seemed to have chosen mostly soft pastries this time, so I may try some harder ones next time to see how they compare.

I visited "Poisson Ailé New" located on B1F of Shin Marunouchi Building on this day. This bakery is popular, with a line forming in front of the shop. Upon closer inspection, there is a sign indicating that those buying bread should go left, while those dining in should go right. I entered the shop from the right and was immediately greeted by the staff who led me to a stylish seating area towards the back, which had about 8 tables. I had made a reservation for the "Menu POINT (6,000 yen)" course, which includes food and a free-flow drink option. The variety of drinks available for the free-flow option was impressive, including orange wine and fresh fruit cocktails. I chose sparkling wine for my wife and Heartland beer for myself, both of which were refreshing in the scorching heat. The first dish was a platter of 5 appetizers, featuring octopus carpaccio, gorgonzola potato salad, salmon ratatouille, various hams, pate, olives, and peach compote. It was a generous spread of delicious dishes. Three types of bread were also provided, each with a lovely wheat aroma that paired well with the appetizers. It was a delight to have such high-quality bread available for all-you-can-eat. We enjoyed white wine and a fresh fruit cocktail with our meal. The peach cocktail was particularly luxurious and delicious. As we finished the first serving of bread, the staff promptly brought more, this time with a different variety of bread, all of which were exceptional. Next, we ordered orange wine and limoncello soda for drinks. The second course was "Ahi-Ajo" with a choice of shrimp or octopus with potatoes. We opted for shrimp, which was delightful with the generous garlic oil sauce. The additional bread selection included cardamom and fig with walnuts, chocolate, and more, all of which were sumptuous. By this point, we were quite full, especially after enjoying the main course of rare beef steak, served with flavorful caper sauce. The meal was accompanied by a Napa Valley red wine and sangria, which complemented the meat well. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the side vegetables were cooked to perfection. Finally, we ended the meal with herbal tea before settling the bill and leaving the restaurant. The value for money at 6,000 yen was unbelievable, making it a great option for gatherings with friends. The staff kindly gifted us some bread to take home, adding to the overall wonderful experience. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I visited my favorite bakery this time for takeout! They had Regerte mascarpone cream-filled shokupan, Azuki red bean-filled bread, roast beef sandwich with plenty of lettuce, and Chocola ultimate chocolate bread. I was happy to be able to purchase the Regerte and Azuki bread that I love, as they were all-you-can-eat. Whether baked or as is, all the bread was delicious. I want to visit the store again soon.
