Akasaka Station Exit 6 is about a 5-minute walk away. It's a bit of a steep staircase down to reach the shop. Today, my mother and I visited together. We arrived at 1:00 PM, and there was a lunch menu sign outside. Prices range from 900 yen to 1,000 yen, which is very reasonable for a place in Akasaka. Upon entering the restaurant, trendy music was playing softly, and there were about two groups of customers inside. The friendly staff greeted us right away. Now, what should we order...!? All the dishes sound delicious just by their names. We decided to order two pasta dishes since they both looked appetizing, and they were served in slightly smaller portions (half size?). Here is a rundown of the meal as it was served to us. - Herb Salad: The balsamic vinegar dressing had a perfect balance of acidity and a hint of sweetness. The homemade dressing was delicate and flavorful. The salad included leaf lettuce and two types of tomatoes, and the portion was generous. - Olive Oil and Homemade Bread: The warm homemade bread served with olive oil was unbelievably delicious. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a noticeable sweetness. - Omelette Chicken Curry: The omelette on top of the rice was fluffy and melted in your mouth. The curry was rich and flavorful, with a variety of vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, carrots, baby corn, okra, and bell peppers. The three pieces of chicken breast were incredibly tender and juicy. - Meaty Bolognese: The Bolognese sauce was indeed meaty, with a generous amount of meat that became more apparent as you mixed it. The pasta was al dente, and the black pepper added a nice kick to the dish. - Daily Pasta: The tuna, komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach), and green bean pasta in tomato sauce was flavorful and refreshing, with a good balance of tuna, tomatoes, and a slight bitterness from the vegetables. - Dessert: We also ordered a decadent Gâteau au Chocolat with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. The rich chocolate cake paired perfectly with the vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce, creating a heavenly combination. We finished the meal with drinks and were completely full. It was a satisfying dining experience.

I had the night course! It's the best value for money! Many dishes were served, and I was very satisfied! Despite being in Akasaka, the prices were reasonable and the food was delicious! I thought it would be home-style cooking since it's a bistro, but it wasn't like that at all. The dishes the food was served on had a nice sense of style, making the ingredients stand out! The salad with meat was just the right amount, not too little or too much. There was a wide variety of drinks available! I tried Orecchiette for the first time. I thought it was gnocchi, but it was different, huh? I asked the staff, and they explained that it was "Orecchiette" and told me more about it. Orecchiette with tomato sauce and small pieces of lamb was very delicious! The dessert that came at the end was also cute ❤️ There were a lot of dishes for a 2-hour course, and I was busy eating quickly, but I was very satisfied! I want to go again!

The food is good, but the hospitality in this restaurant is lacking. The female staff in the dining area seems more focused on themselves than the customers, and it feels like they are struggling between the customers and the owner couple. If asked if I want to go back, my answer would be no without hesitation.

I used it for lunch. I was planning to eat pasta, but I was attracted to the omurice curry, so I ordered the green curry omurice. It was really good. It wasn't too spicy, it was mild, and the sweetness of the green curry was really delicious. The bread in the set was also delicious as it was freshly baked, but there was a decent amount of curry, so I felt satisfied. It's a popular restaurant that quickly fills up. I would like to go again.

This is a bistro in Akasaka! The sign of the restaurant is Bistro K, but for some reason it is registered as Bistro K on the website, so even if you search for "Bistro K" on the website, it doesn't show up. I wish it could be easier to find like Google search. Anyway, I have been here for lunch a few times and I knew that the Bolognese and bread were delicious, but I hadn't had the chance to come for dinner until now! We ordered a variety of dishes, and they were all delicious as expected, and the wine went well with them! Also, there is something called 10 yen mashed potatoes, which is amazing!

The amount of curry provided was overflowing, and when it was served, the plate felt heavy and I was unsure if I could finish it. However, I stubbornly ate it all. It was difficult to reach the bottom, so for girls, the portion is definitely too much. For an additional 300 yen, you can get a set with salad, drink, and bread, but it's a portion that can only be finished by someone with a big appetite. Despite being called Chicken Curry, there were only two small pieces of chicken. Strictly speaking, it was a vegetable curry. The curry was loaded with various vegetables like okra and baby corn. Shouldn't it be called Vegetable Curry instead? It was a lunch that made me feel deceived as it was far from what I had imagined for curry.

A long-awaited dinner with colleagues at this bistro with a relaxed table arrangement, allowing us to enjoy without feeling crowded. Despite being a Friday night, Akasaka still feels lonely, with only three other groups of customers. We started with a Cobb salad, followed by a recommended platter of homemade ham, confit of gizzards, and grilled giant mushrooms. The sazae (turban shell) escargot in olive oil with basil had an Italian touch and paired well with white wine. The last dish was sautéed sweet potato pork. Each dish was carefully crafted to bring out the best of the ingredients. We enjoyed a few glasses of wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks, spending around 7000 yen per person. The waitress was great at recommending dishes. This bistro offers a casual atmosphere perfect for a fun meal with close friends. Thank you for the delicious meal.

The interior of the store has a calm atmosphere with a wood-like feel. The tables are spacious and comfortable. I visited for lunch, which was a bit on the pricey side. I chose pasta for today's meal. The taste was unique and different from chain restaurant pasta, with the flavor of a skilled chef. It was delicious.

~Aim for Akasaka's New Lunch King (Part 33)~ Located a short distance from Akasaka TBS towards Nogizaka. It is a hidden gem bistro on the first floor of an apartment building, easy to miss as you pass by. Upon entering, I noticed that there were mostly women dining, with me being the only solo male customer. Sorry for disrupting the atmosphere (^^). Most people were ordering the green curry, but I was in the mood for pasta today. I decided to try the Bolognese (1150 yen). After a short wait, the Bolognese arrived. The noodles were cooked al dente. Although the dish appeared mostly white due to the minimal tomato sauce (^^), it was packed with ground meat and had a subtle garlic flavor, allowing the taste of the meat and vegetables to shine through. It had an authentic flavor. Simple yet delicious. The portion size was satisfying as well. While I opted for just the pasta today, for an additional 300 yen, you could add a set with salad, bread, and a drink, which most people seemed to order. I would recommend this place for when you want to enjoy a leisurely meal.

In the past, I thought the restaurant had evening hours on Saturdays, so I arrived around 13:30 only to find out that the lunch menu for meat and fish was already over. I wanted to try pasta or curry, but missed the opportunity. So, I decided to try the Omelette Chicken Curry, which came with a free upgrade to a large portion during lunchtime. My husband ordered the Bolognese with an additional 300 yen for bread and salad. The salad was amazingly delicious with the chef's original dressing and carrot frappe. I even wanted to ask the chef what magic he used! The herb cream cheese on the bread in the special version was also incredibly tasty. We also ordered beer, which was surprisingly good. The curry had a delicious blend of spices that made it easy to finish the large portion. Despite being full, I would definitely want to come back again for this delicious meal. It's a place where any friend you bring along would be delighted.

It's been a while since I visited Bistro K. When we arrived around 12 o'clock, the restaurant was packed right after us. It was quite busy and surprising. This time, I chose the daily pasta lunch special. I added a salad and a drink to my order. The salad was quite generous in portion and delicious. The pasta had a substantial amount and included vegetables like cabbage and beans along with meat - very tasty! The bread roll was crispy and delicious as well. I ended the meal with a cup of coffee.

Trattoria, located along Akasaka Street, is a popular restaurant. I ordered the set menu which includes Bolognese pasta, bread, salad, and a drink for 1,000 yen plus 300 yen. The pasta comes in a generous portion, and you can ask for more bread if you need. The bread is freshly baked and served with olive oil for dipping. The salad dressing was delicious. The main pasta dish had a great flavor of minced meat, not too heavy, allowing you to enjoy the taste of the ingredients.

I felt like eating pasta, so I went to Bistro K after a long time. However, I wasn't really drawn to today's pasta, so I decided to try the chicken omelette curry instead. The curry was light and had chunks of vegetables and chicken, with fluffy egg on rice. A perfect combination! Since I thought having bread with the curry would be too much, I ordered it as a single item. The curry had a good amount of curry so there was no issue of running out of it. As someone who likes a lot of curry, I was happy about that. The chunks of okra and baby corn in the curry were delicious! I also want to try the green curry.

BISTRO K is a French restaurant located on a side street off Akasaka Street, established in 2012. The owner chef, Mr. Hirokazu Ueki, seems to have a background as a former wedding planner and offers support for using the restaurant for wedding receptions. The lunch menu includes dishes such as shrimp and chicken green curry, chicken curry, omelet chicken curry, butter chicken curry, and meaty bolognese pasta. For an additional 300 yen, you can add a set with homemade bread, herb salad, and a soft drink. There is also a daily fish and meat lunch set available. Today, I chose the daily fish lunch set which featured "Roasted Local Chicken with Mustard Cream Sauce" (served with seasonal salad, homemade bread or rice, and a drink). For the appetizer, there was a generous portion of "Seasonal Salad" with leafy greens topped with prosciutto, broccoli, potatoes, and tomatoes drizzled with Caesar dressing. The main dish was a large piece of roasted chicken with mustard cream sauce, cooked with a crispy skin and tender meat that released juices when bitten into. The mustard cream sauce enhanced the flavor of the chicken, and the colorful vegetables on the side were perfectly cooked. The rice was delicious, and the iced Earl Grey tea served as a refreshing drink. The restaurant offers good value for its location, with meticulous cooking and generous portions. The interior has a warm wooden decor that appeals to both men and women, with a mix of solo diners and groups enjoying their meals.

French restaurant in Akasaka. Located down the stairs from Akasaka-dori, the restaurant is in a quiet environment with spacious table spacing for a relaxing dining experience. Hand sanitizers are available at the entrance and on each table. The staff members are mostly wearing masks. The lunch French menu offers options like "Today's Fish Lunch" or "Today's Meat Lunch" for 1700 yen. However, during lunch hours, other dishes like Shrimp and Chicken Green Curry for 900 yen or Spicy Chicken Curry for 900 yen are also available. Pasta options include Bolognese for 1000 yen, and Today's Pasta for 1000 yen. Prices do not include tax. Adding salad, bread, and a drink to the meal will require an additional 300 yen. I opted for the Bolognese Pasta for 1000 yen (excluding tax) with the lunch set for 300 yen (excluding tax) to save money, as I usually go for the "Today's Meat Lunch" during previous visits. The salad that arrived first was mostly lettuce with only one mini tomato (cut in half). The bread was served warm with olive oil, which was a nice touch. The Bolognese was served next, with perfectly cooked pasta and a generous amount of beef as promised. Personally, I prefer a bit more salt in the dish, and the tomato flavor could be stronger for added richness. Overall, it was a Bolognese with a more mature taste. I enjoyed a cafe latte after the meal before leaving. It was nice that I could choose a cafe latte without any additional charge. It would have been even better if the lunch prices were a bit more affordable during lunch hours...

I visited a nearby pizza place, but it was unexpectedly closed for a short period. A waitress from a bistro I passed by suggested that they have a table available, so I decided to have lunch there. It seemed to be an Italian place, with pasta being their specialty, but they also had a few curry options on the menu. I chose the chicken and shrimp green curry. It was my first time having curry at a bistro, but it was delicious and well-prepared! The green curry looked quite light, almost like a white stew, but it had a strong coconut flavor and a good level of spiciness. The chicken and shrimp were both tender and tasty. The summer vegetables included baby corn, potatoes, snow peas, green beans, broccoli, and cauliflower, all cooked perfectly with a nice firmness. This curry really showcased the quality of the ingredients. I found a great restaurant today. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Blog: Hangover Cure Meal at Bistro K Instagram ● Bistro K Located down a narrow staircase off Akasaka Street, Bistro K is an Italian restaurant that I stumbled upon while seeking shade on a hot day. The exterior looked very stylish, so I had been meaning to visit someday, and I finally did. The warm-toned lighting outside drew me in, and the interior was just as chic. ● Menu Shrimp and Chicken Green Curry - 900 yen Shrimp and Chicken Omelette Green Curry - 1000 yen Spicy Chicken Curry - 900 yen Omelette Chicken Curry - 1000 yen Butter Chicken Curry - 900 yen Meat-Loaded Bolognese - 1000 yen For an additional 300 yen, you can get a set with herb salad, freshly baked homemade bread, and a soft drink. This seems like a great deal! This time, I opted for the Meat-Loaded Bolognese set. ● Meat-Loaded Bolognese First, the salad arrived. Unlike other set salads that are just a small amount of vegetables, Bistro K's set salad was very generous and fresh. It immediately caught my attention with its size. Next came the bread, served with olive oil and salt and pepper. The hot bread was a bit challenging to tear apart, but it was delicious and not too filling, leaving room for the pasta that followed. Finally, the star of the show, the Meat-Loaded Bolognese. The sauce was packed with meat and cheese, creating a delightful aroma. The pasta was perfectly al dente, with a great texture. The meaty Bolognese sauce, combined with the cheese, was fantastic. It had a rich meat flavor, rather than being too tomato-based like some Bolognese sauces tend to be. To finish, I had an iced tea. ● Conclusion Despite entering on a whim, the restaurant was cozy, the food was delicious, and the portion size was satisfying. I thought I'd like to come back for dinner when I have more time to spare. It made me realize there are still many unknown restaurants out there, so I look forward to continuing my exploration.

During lunchtime, while walking from Akasaka towards Nogizaka, I found a sign for a French-looking restaurant. Going down the stairs, I discovered a place called "Bistro K". They had a daily lunch menu, and the atmosphere seemed nice. I decided to eat here today! Inside the restaurant, the ceiling was exposed and had a stylish feel. There were mostly female customers, and it had a casual French vibe. The lunch options were curry and pasta, with a variety of curry choices. I was torn between the Green Curry, Butter Chicken Curry, and Bolognese. After some contemplation, I decided to order the Omelette Butter Chicken Curry! The omelette was fluffy and delicious. Mixing it with the Butter Chicken Curry was a delightful experience. The curry had summer vegetables like okra, which added a nice touch. It wasn't too spicy, so I could enjoy it without any issues. I also tried the daily pasta, which had mussels, clams, and sakura shrimp. The pasta was cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of saltiness. It was also very tasty! Overall, we had a great lunch in a stylish setting. I heard that if you order a set, you can enjoy unlimited homemade bread, which I definitely want to try next time! The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere that seemed perfect for a leisurely lunch. I look forward to coming back and experiencing their hidden gem vibe in the evening!

This is a bistro in Akasaka where we had a drinking party. Please make sure not to confuse it with another restaurant called Bistro Q in Akasaka. It is a hidden casual place located off Akasaka-dori. The restaurant is spacious and relaxed. The service is provided by two friendly female staff members. The evening party menu offers options at ¥3,000 and ¥5,500, with a free drink option for ¥2,500. The A Course at ¥3,000 (excluding tax) includes a free drink option (2.5 hours) for ¥2,500. The menu includes: Salad, Parma ham and coppa platter, Fresh tuna tartare with toast, Fried potatoes, Domestic beef steak, Plenty of vegetable tart flambe, and Homemade bread. The drink options include beer, white/red wine, whiskey, highball, shochu, cocktails, soft drinks, and sparkling wine. It's nice that you can choose sparkling wine. The beer served is Sapporo Black Label. Starting with the salad, the Parma ham and coppa platter is a delightful combination that pairs well with alcohol. The fresh tuna tartare is refreshing. The fried potatoes are seasoned with black pepper. However, they seem to be more of a filler on the menu. The beef steak is tender and flavorful, served with grilled vegetables. The tart flambe with plenty of vegetables is a thin pastry topped with vegetables and cheese, providing a crispy snack-like experience. The pasta is a macaroni dish with minced meat and cheese, similar to the popular American dish "Bifaroni." The cheese and macaroni are well combined, with the macaroni cooked slightly softer intentionally. The service was good, and we had a great time. However, our expectations were not fully met, so the rating is not too high. I would like to visit for lunch next time. Thank you for the meal.

The bistro with a stylish wood grain interior serves pasta for lunch. It is located on the ground floor of a slightly old building. The interior is dimly lit, with large wooden tables lined up and a counter kitchen. Although the green curry is popular, I felt like having pasta today, so I ordered the daily pasta. I added a salad and bread set. The salad was quite substantial and delicious. The bread that came later was crispy on the outside and very tasty! It fills you up, but it was so delicious that I might end up adding it every time! The pasta had a delicious flavor of seafood. However, surprisingly, I was more impressed by the bread. (laughs) The bread was really good. I wonder if they're good at reheating it? Next time, I want to go try the green curry.

Had lunch at the popular restaurant Bistro K in Akasaka. I went alone on a whim, but I'm glad I did. It quickly filled up and seemed to have many reservations, as people who came later were all being turned away. The atmosphere was stylish and calm. I liked that they served water in wine glasses. The menu had a kind of Western feel with dishes like curry and spaghetti, which made me wonder if it was really a bistro. But for lunch, it seemed to be a bistro-style Western cuisine. The prices were quite high, with many dishes over 1000 yen, so I opted for the cheapest option at 900 yen, the chicken and shrimp green curry. The salad looked delicious, but I didn't need the salad, drink, and bread set for an extra 300 yen, so I went with just the curry. The curry was surprisingly large, especially with a lot of sauce, almost like a soup curry. There were plenty of different vegetables too. For 900 yen, this was a good deal! The taste was Thai-inspired but subtle and refined, making it a different experience from actual Thai curry. I'm curious about trying the spicy chicken curry next time.
