I was introduced by Mio-san and visited the newly renovated Sunshine 60's 59th floor restaurant, Ginger's Beach Sunshine. The spacious interior with a sense of openness, where you can even have a restaurant wedding, allows you to enjoy Hawaiian cuisine while overlooking the sparkling night view from the 59th floor of Sunshine 60. Highly recommended is the 6800 yen course. High-level dishes that pleasantly surprise you with a twist on Hawaiian cuisine are served one after another. Now, let me introduce you to the wonderful dishes: The cold appetizer is a stylish dish that surprises you with smoked yellowtail and bonito poke with wasabi-flavored olive oil, a seasonal vegetable soup with smoked macadamia nuts, and fried baguette crostini with two types of dip. The warm appetizer is a must-try dish at this restaurant! Foie gras poêlé, bacon and English muffin, caramelized banana Benedict with cane sugar. The pasta is a dish that impressed me with its delicious ideas! Shrimp and avocado macadamia genovese. The main dish is the US-produced BBQ grilled ribeye with tarragon butter that spreads in your mouth. Finally, the chef's special dessert of the day includes panna cotta, strawberry shortcake, and cheesecake. The course is worth more than 6800 yen in terms of quantity and taste. And above all, the atmosphere of the restaurant is excellent! I went at night, but this sense of freedom and luxury can be enjoyed even during the day, making it perfect for a girls' night out or a date. If you're looking for high-quality dining in Ikebukuro in a high-quality setting, this is the place!

It was an afternoon tea experience. The atmosphere and cost performance were good, and since I was pregnant, they provided a cushion and suggested changes to the menu, which made me happy! The menu seems to change with the seasons, so I would love to visit again. Of course, all the menu items were delicious!

I visited around 12 pm on the weekend. I didn't have a reservation, but I was seated in about 10 minutes. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with sofa-style tables in the center and regular tables around the perimeter, all of which were full. I sat at a table with a view of the Skytree and ordered the lunch course. The dishes, from appetizers to risotto, shrimp, and meat, were served at a leisurely pace, suitable for a relaxed dining experience. The portion sizes were normal to slightly small, but the flavors were delicious. In addition to the course, I also tried the Loco Moco and Pork Frifri, both of which were tasty. The Loco Moco had flavorful meat and sauce, and the portion of rice was generous. The pork was tender and cooked perfectly. You can enjoy a leisurely meal with the course, but even ordering individual dishes allows you to enjoy the view and have a good time. The fact that this floor is relatively quiet is a plus.

It was my first delivery visit since before the pandemic. The cost performance was still good, but I felt like the portion size had decreased a bit. The cob salad may have been tastier before, but the rice flour chicken was delicious. The staff were very polite and provided high-quality service for this price. It was a bit crowded, so the drinks were a bit slow to arrive, but the night view was great and considering the observation fee, it is a great value restaurant.

I often visit Ikebukuro Sunshine City, but I decided to end my date in the Ikebukuro area and enjoy the view by staying at Sunshine City and having dinner there. The weather was great, and the daytime view was wonderful, but the night view was the highlight. I had reserved a private room, so although it wasn't a panoramic night view, it was still a beautifully framed view. The course meal included well-balanced and elaborate dishes with vegetables, meat, and fish. The tuna and snow crab crostini paired perfectly with the bread! I ended up eating it quickly because the bread was unlimited (>_<). The snow crab and sea urchin cream risotto was so rich and flavorful that I actually wanted to eat it in a bowl haha. The main dish of wagyu beef was a roast of ribeye. The balance of meatiness and fat was perfect, and I couldn't stop eating it with the balsamic sauce. The atmosphere, view, and food were all amazing! If you're in Ikebukuro, I highly recommend visiting this place. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I made a reservation for 12:00 on a weekday. Reservations are essential as even on weekdays, the place was fully booked. I had a window seat with a great view of the city on a sunny day, which was very pleasant. The food and drinks were all delicious and beautifully presented, and I was satisfied. The staff were also very kind. However, it took about 10-15 minutes for the drinks to arrive after ordering, so I recommend placing your order early. The 2 hours flew by and I had a great time!

Sunshine's 59th floor has a fantastic dining area. The night view is amazing, and the interior is stylish and chic. It's supposed to be a Hawaiian restaurant, but honestly, it doesn't feel Hawaiian at all. The interior gives off a calm Bali vibe. The prices are on the higher side, but considering the atmosphere, it's reasonable. The drinks are surprisingly affordable. It's romantic and relaxing, so I recommend it for a date.

Lunch today was also at Goto Eat. A restaurant on the 59th floor of Sunshine 60. If you go for lunch on a weekday, you can enjoy the view from the 59th floor at a normal lunch price (more than 1200 yen), so I recommend it. I visited on Thursday at 11:30, and the seating rate was about 50%. I confirmed the sticker at the counter and entered. I ordered the weekday limited lunch set for 2000 yen, which included a steak bowl and Hawaiian meat taco rice, with a ginger ale for a drink. The salad arrived in about 10 minutes, followed by the soup. The salad had fresh vegetables with a tasty dressing that had a Hawaiian flavor. The soup was good, but small in portion. Just as I was thinking that, the customer next to me said exactly what I was thinking, almost making me burst out laughing. The drink arrived about 5 minutes later, they bring it at a different timing. The main dishes arrived about 10 minutes later, so it took about 25 minutes from ordering. It's a bit slow for a business lunch. The meat was a bit tough because it had little fat, but it was tasty. The price was exactly 2000 yen including tax, so I paid with two 1000 yen Goto Eat vouchers.

I visited this restaurant after the usual Tokyo Mineral Show. There aren't many standout restaurants in Ikebukuro, but I decided to conquer the ones on the upper floors of Sunshine. This restaurant is located on the 59th floor of Sunshine, a Hawaiian restaurant. The interior is spacious, with tables arranged around the windows with a fantastic night view. There are also seats in the center, but they are not used much. I think the seats by the window are nice as you can see in all directions. This time, I had the Window-side seat guaranteed with a toast drink included Holomua course for 9800 yen. The amuse-bouche was pickled oysters, plump and delicious. The seasonal fruit caprese with Iberico ham and strawberries was sweet and sour, very tasty. The charcoal-grilled red chicken and green onions were a bit tough, but the chicken was tender and delicious. The spaghetti with golden threadfin bream and trefoil was delicious, with thin pasta similar to fedelini. The A5 rank black wagyu shabu-shabu with homemade consomme was like a ryokan dinner, served on a portable stove with sweet potatoes. A bit of a unique dish. The dessert was two kinds of Hawaiian desserts, although it wasn't clear what made them Hawaiian. Maybe Hawaiian cuisine includes dishes from various countries. Bread was not included in the course, which was a bit puzzling, but refills were free. The wine, with three red and white options each, ordered by the glass, was quite delicious. The view is exceptional, being on the 59th floor, and it's worth having dinner here just for that.

It's been a while since I had lunch at Ginger's Beach on the 59th floor of the Sunshine City restaurant area. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and the location is great. Depending on the seat, you can even see the Skytree. This time, I ordered Hawaiian lunch with Poki Don and Kaomangai. The rice was a bit firm, which might be a matter of preference. The boiled chicken thigh meat with sauce was tasty, although I'm not a fan of cilantro. The sauce, which was soy sauce-based with a hint of ginger, was delicious. I enjoyed the meal. Thank you for the feast.

Ikebukuro used to have a chaotic and unsafe image for me as I grew older, but this restaurant changed my perspective. It has a sophisticated atmosphere with a clean and serene space where water flows, and you can enjoy a view of the night sky including Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower. Located on top of Sunshine City, I was seated at a window table with a great view. The restaurant serves a Hawaiian-Italian fusion course, with dishes like prosciutto and tomato cheese risotto that are casual and just the right portion size. The highlight was the bone-in spare ribs, which were incredibly flavorful and aromatic. The dessert even had a tropical touch with a decorative flower. The staff were friendly and attentive, making it a perfect choice for celebrating special occasions in Ikebukuro. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited this restaurant by making a reservation for a private room. It was a completely private space, so I could relax and unwind to my heart's content. The view of Ikebukuro from the spacious window glass was beautiful. I enjoyed Hawaiian cuisine, which was new to me in terms of cooking methods and ingredients. There was also entertainment value in having ham and cheese served in front of you. Everything was delicious, but the meat dishes left a strong impression. The steak that day was ribeye, unbelievably tender and with a sweet aftertaste of fat that you wouldn't expect from lean meat. The burger patty was made of duck breast, as thick as a steak. It was almost a shame to eat it in a burger. The service was so polite that I felt apologetic. The welcome drink is usually alcohol, but I can't drink so I asked for a soft drink instead. They brought me a regular lemonade when I mentioned that I also couldn't drink carbonation. I am grateful for their exceptional hospitality. I had a pleasant meal with a heartwarming service. I am very satisfied, thank you for the meal.

The place was quiet with few people, and it was surprisingly peaceful. Taking the elevator to the 59th floor, the view and atmosphere were amazing. I could see both the Skytree and Tokyo Tower. The food was served in courses, each dish beautifully presented and delicious. It was a truly elegant and enjoyable dining experience.

I walked about 15 minutes from JR Ikebukuro Station, or about 3 minutes from Higashi-Ikebukuro Station on the Yurakucho Line, to enjoy the popular afternoon tea with a seasonal theme of strawberry and chocolate. I ordered the Strawberry & Chocolate Afternoon Tea (4500 yen) listed on the menu on Tabelog. The strawberries used were a variety called "Jofu" from Kagawa Prefecture. The cakes designed with a Valentine's Day theme in February were super cute. The bottom tier included snacks like shrimp fry, pork terrine, and potatoes. In the middle tier, there was a warm cake with a pie-like soft dough topped with whipped cream and strawberries, served with strawberry and chocolate sauce. The top tier had heart-shaped cream puffs, Marron glace, tiramisu, and chocolate scones with whipped cream. It was a delightful selection of sweet Western-style desserts. The tea and soft drinks were all-you-can-drink, including options like organic Darjeeling, lemon meringue, rose, and beauty blue citrus coffee. It was a happy time being able to enjoy various flavors. The staff were cheerful and attentive, which was nice. The place got busier as more customers arrived, but they managed well. It was great to have such a satisfying meal with all-you-can-drink options. I think it's a fair and conscientious restaurant. Thank you for the meal. I hope to visit again when the season changes.

Visited the restaurant with three female colleagues for lunch. The Hawaiian-themed atmosphere was perfect for lifting spirits. We had made a reservation, so we were seated right away, while a few people without reservations waited near the entrance. The interior was decorated with furniture and plants, creating a resort-like vibe. After ordering, we chatted for about 10 minutes. I ordered the Ahi Poke bowl, which was delicious with its rich, sesame oil-infused soy sauce-marinated salmon. The other girls ordered dishes like mochiko chicken and pasta. Overall, it was a great meal. Will definitely come back again.

I enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea in a space with a great view on the 59th floor of Sunshine Ikebukuro! Among afternoon teas in the same price range in Tokyo, this place ranked high on my list of places to revisit. The food was delicious and the portion size was just right, there was a wide variety of drinks available and the service was fast, the staff were very polite, and there was a good amount of space between tables. The restaurant has a Hawaiian concept, and you can tell they put a lot of effort into their dishes. The menu included: Homemade noir churros, Strawberry tiramisu, Strawberry maritozzo, Mochi chocolate sandwiched in a heart-shaped manju, Strawberry and rose Dutch baby pancake with homemade strawberry syrup and special chocolate sauce, Garlic shrimp fry, and Crispers potato. They were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions when I made a reservation, which made me feel at ease. I was able to relax and enjoy my time without worrying about the time. There were plenty of strawberries used in the dishes, making them very photogenic. The view was also amazing, and I would love to go back at night as well. I felt that they had put a lot of thought into their COVID-19 prevention measures. I definitely want to go back!

I attended a girls' gathering with a baby. When I informed them in advance that I would be bringing a child, they prepared a spacious sofa seat in a corner, which was very nice. We had the afternoon tea set, which included a good balance of savory and sweet items, all very cute, and of course, drinks were all-you-can-drink. The quality was pretty good. Located on the upper floors of Sunshine City, the view was amazing, and since the restaurant was in a corner with windows on two sides, the scenery was breathtaking. We ended up staying for quite a while, but the staff provided attentive service until the end without saying anything. ------------- ■ Shop Information ・ Location: 59th floor of Sunshine City ・ Price: Just under 5000 yen ・ Scene: Date, girls' gathering, with children

I was brought here by a friend to celebrate my birthday. I knew in advance what the Afternoon Tea would include, but when the moment arrived, I was overwhelmed with surprise and excitement. The setting on the 59th floor of the Sunshine building was lovely, and the dishes and sweets inside the cake stand were a feast for the eyes from every angle. It felt almost too precious to eat, but I also wanted to experience the joy of tasting them, so I battled with conflicting feelings haha. My favorites were the "Garlic Shrimp Fry," "Noir Churros," and "Strawberry Maritozzo." Of course, shrimp is delicious, but the special feeling of it being included in the Afternoon Tea elevated my excitement even more. The crispy and juicy textures combined, and the garlic was just sneaky. Having something with a punch like this amidst the sweetness was refreshing and enhanced the overall deliciousness. The "Noir Churros" had a sophisticated taste with dark chocolate, not too sweet, and I really liked it. Eating it with whipped cream heightened the dessert feel and the combination was perfect. I thought the "Strawberry Maritozzo" might be heavy, but it was so delicious that I finished it in no time. The cream was light and not too sweet, and the sweet and sourness of the strawberries was refreshing and pleasant. The brioche part was made with dark chocolate, and the hidden chocolate chips added a crunchy texture that was enjoyable. The complimentary drink "Strawberry Creme" was also a favorite. It was vibrant with a strawberry fragrance. The taste was sweet with a moist sweetness that paired well with the sweets. I was recommended to add milk, which made it even milder. The cute turtle on the table was given to me as a gift on my way out. Thank you for the wonderful time and delicious dishes. It was a feast. Thank you for the meal.¨̮⑅*◎

Reserved a private room course for lunch at a restaurant on the upper floors of Sunshine. It is located about a 12-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. The interior is bright and casual, with a Hawaiian atmosphere. It has a trendy feel but can be crowded and lively. Visited around 1 pm on a Saturday, so it was relatively lively. The food was delicious and light. The private room was quiet with a view outside. However, since the room was not entirely glass-walled, the view was not as enjoyable. Considering the quality of the private room, the cost performance was not that great. ★Food review rating at the time: 3.4☆Perhaps the expectations were too high.

I went to the Sunshine Plaza aquarium and then decided to have dinner there. The view from the large windows around sunset was lovely. The service was excellent, and I could feel the thoughtfulness in their recommendations. The oysters were fresh, and the T-bone steak was juicy and a good deal. Each table was surrounded, so we could enjoy our time together in a relaxed atmosphere. ❤️
