On New Year's Day, at the request of my mother who is a big fan of this hotel, we enjoyed our first dinner of the year here. We were seated at a spacious table with a sofa and provided with paper bags containing wet towels and cutlery. The wet towels here are made of non-woven fabric and are one-way, but they are thick and easy to use. An order was taken by a foreign staff member who spoke fluent and polite Japanese while kneeling down. When my mother expressed her desire for a warm drink, she asked if she could have hot lemonade, to which the staff replied with a smile, "Of course!" It's nice to respond to the obvious as if it were obvious. My mother had the hot lemonade and I had a cocktail called Big Apple, made with apple juice, as I had drunk too much on New Year's Eve. The lemonade was delicious, and my mother's frozen face turned into a smile. For food, we ordered two types of sushi pinchos, each with 4 pieces. The pinchos were visually appealing, with sliced baguettes resembling sushi rice. One had prosciutto and oysters with apples, and the other had salted cod and potatoes. Both were delicious, with the flavors and aromas of the ingredients blending perfectly. We then had a garden salad, a platter of prosciutto and salami, and a platter of hummus and bread. The garden salad included various greens, fried beets, and lotus root, with an onion dressing that allowed the flavors of each ingredient to shine. The prosciutto and salami platter was freshly sliced and fragrant. The hummus was rich yet refreshing, and paired perfectly with the bread selection, which included rustic bread with nori and walnut campagne. We also had ham croquettes, which were cute and round, and filled with chunks of ham. They were hot, creamy, and delicious. Lastly, we had mushroom risotto cooked al dente in a seafood broth, with the flavors of seafood, mushrooms, and ham coming together perfectly. The table was lit with an alcohol lamp, creating a resort-like atmosphere in the spacious and contemporary setting, with contemporary music playing in the background. The balance of sound, space, art, people, and food created a stylish yet warm and relaxed atmosphere. I look forward to how many times I will be able to enjoy the delicious food and service here this year. When Japanese staff members smile, the space becomes even better. I visited "MORETHAN TAPAS LOUNGE -Spanish-" for lunch on Saturday for the first time. The restaurant is located on the first floor of HOTEL THE KNOT TOKYO Shinjuku, and the hotel lobby is lively with upbeat music playing from the DJ booth. After a 10-minute wait, we were seated at a regular table, which was lucky since we didn't have a reservation. The lunch buffet costs 4,000 yen, and while the variety of dishes isn't extensive, each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. I also enjoyed the bread from MORETHAN BAKERY, which will be helpful for my next bread purchase. I realized after finishing my meal that there were no fried foods, so I was able to enjoy the all-you-can-eat without any guilt.

This restaurant is popular on SNS, especially for its lunch buffet, which is difficult to reserve during the day but easy to book at night. It is located inside a hotel, just to the right as you enter the hotel entrance. They have a variety of cocktails with names I've never heard before, and all the drinks were delicious. The atmosphere is great. However, they strictly enforce a 1-hour dining time limit with a 2-hour maximum stay, which felt quite rushed. We ended up not ordering much food as we were planning to try more dishes. Also, since there is no nearby train station, it was difficult to get there and find a place for a second round of drinks. Overall, it was a bit of a challenge.笑

I used the lunch buffet. Since the reservation slots were full, I lined up for the no-reservation slot starting from 10:00, and we were the second group in line! If you enter without a reservation, you generally choose between terrace seats or counter seats. If there are seats available, you might be able to use table seats as well! (I was guided to a table seat!) The bread and prosciutto were delicious. Especially, the prosciutto is recommended to be eaten with hard bread! As for the bread, the quiniaman was by far the most delicious! When I went, it was gone in about an hour, so I recommend getting it early.

The interior of the restaurant was quite moody and dark. Reservations are not accepted, but the terrace had a nice atmosphere and seemed child-friendly, so I would definitely like to sit on the terrace next time if the weather is good. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. The dishes were all heavily seasoned, so if you don't like non-alcoholic drinks or strong flavors, it might be better to choose your dishes carefully. Especially the potato salad was very salty, which surprised me and my friend. The paella had a lot of moisture and was closer to risotto in texture. I prefer paella with more distinct rice grains, so it was not what I expected, but overall it was a lovely place to enjoy drinks.

The weekend lunch slots fill up quickly, so after several attempts, I finally managed to secure a reservation. Located within THE KNOT TOKYO Shinjuku, a designer hotel, the bakery is on the left upon entering, and the restaurant (lounge) is on the right. The interior is filled with designer furniture and a spacious layout that is not visible from the outside. The sofa seats were also satisfying. The flavored tea is continuously poured by the staff, and if you love tea, you would want to drink at least 4 cups. The flavored tea helps refresh your stomach after a heavy buffet. There is a good variety of bread, but the number of dishes seemed limited at first. The highlight of this restaurant is the unlimited freshly grated 22-month aged Prosciutto and Parma ham. You can enjoy it in various ways like in an egg sandwich, with other bread, or on top of a salad. The Iberico ham has a rich taste and is easy to eat. Each dish such as roasted pork shoulder and butter chicken curry was delicious. The food quality at this buffet is high. Despite being a weekend, the clientele consisted mostly of adults, stylish and affluent women, and the seating arrangement allowed for a more elegant and relaxed atmosphere for conversation. I was glad I made the effort to reserve and enjoy the buffet. It would be great if it were an easy place to drop by, but considering the need to book desperately 60 days in advance, it might be a bit challenging to use again.

Long-awaited!!!! It was a dream come true!! I finally went to Mozan!! Reservations open online 60 days in advance, so it's essential to book about 2 months ahead. If you try to walk in on the day, you might not get in because it's that popular!! I had a reservation for 12 o'clock, but when I arrived early, they seated me around 11:45. They gave a brief explanation, and then the buffet started. First and foremost, let's talk about the bread!! Mozan is known for its delicious bread, so I kept taking more. There are so many varieties that my plate filled up quickly, but each piece is cut into small portions, so you can enjoy different types without worry. Additionally, they have an Aladdin toaster available, so you can enjoy freshly baked bread, which is fantastic!! And it's not just about the bread! The salad options are also plentiful and colorful! There are many vegetables I've never tried before, which made me excited. You can enjoy beets, olives, and other unique vegetables. They also have fancy sauces like honey mustard, which provided a different dining experience. The appetizers and grilled dishes were also abundant, and I particularly loved the grilled eggplant. I must have gone back for more dozens of times. The desserts were also incredibly fancy. They had fried donuts, baked goods, gateau chocolat, cheesecake, peach mini tarts, mango pudding, and more. The content may vary depending on the season, but everything was fancy, cute, delicious, and top-notch. Also, just before the buffet ended, I noticed chilled pumpkin soup and butter chicken curry hidden behind the desserts... I absolutely love both, so I was overjoyed to find them. Please be careful not to miss them. While enjoying the meal, the staff offered tea service! They brought different flavors each time, so you could enjoy various tastes. I tried the caramel flavor, which was sweet and paired perfectly with the desserts and bread... The bread here is unbelievably delicious... My friend mentioned it, too, but the hard bread is especially tasty! The wheat flavor is rich, and the more you chew, the more deliciousness spreads in your mouth. They also offer French toast, croissants, sweet treats, as well as savory options like egg sandwiches and prosciutto and cheese sandwiches, so you can enjoy a variety of dishes. It truly was the best. Well... the meal was undoubtedly fantastic, but what stood out the most was the staff's exceptional service! They were incredibly attentive! They quickly cleared plates, tidied up, and the drink service was excellent. This time, I visited with a friend, and as we were leaving, the staff member said, "Next time, come with three people~♪" and waved goodbye with a smile. It was a fun and happy space full of humor! The staff seemed to be mostly foreign, which left a lovely impression. I will definitely go back. I've already decided while eating. It's a bit of a hassle to make a reservation, but if Mozan is on the agenda, I'll work towards it. If I can encounter such a happy space, I believe I can do anything. The popular buffet restaurant was fully booked for reservations far in advance, so I decided to try my luck for a same-day seat by lining up before the opening at 11 am. We managed to get a table right by the entrance, although it wasn't as cozy as the booths in the back, but we were just happy to have a seat since we couldn't make a reservation. The table had 12 seats in total, and we were the third group in line, with the previous guests being in pairs. We quickly headed to the buffet area which had a variety of options like bread, salads, grilled dishes, and desserts, all looking delicious and beautifully presented. We tried a little bit of everything and it was all so tasty! What stood out was the creativity and uniqueness of each dish, making it hard to imagine just from the name or description. The salads were fresh, and the bread was firm and to my liking. All this for ¥3500 (weekday price) was actually a good deal considering the prices in the area for a decent lunch. I would definitely love to visit again if given the chance!

We visited on a weekend and paid around 4,000 yen including tax. The exterior of the place looks like an old hotel, but the interior has been renovated in a very stylish way, so you don't feel the age at all. The seating is spacious, and there's a sense of openness as you're not crammed in tightly. Those with reservations line up outside and are let in one by one at their reserved time, so it's good to arrive early and line up first. The variety of dishes and drinks is not as extensive as a hotel buffet, but the quality is high, like Dean & Deluca's deli items. I really liked it! Once you try everything, you'll feel quite satisfied, so maybe this level of variety is just right. But the highlight here is definitely the bread. From hard bread to bagels, the selection is impressive, and bread lovers will have a great time. And the fact that it's all-you-can-eat...no wonder it's so popular. The prices are reasonable, and the staff are all very friendly. The place is spacious enough to accommodate strollers, and the atmosphere is kid-friendly, so moms don't need to worry. This is actually my second time here. It's my favorite buffet place nearby, but it's quite crowded so I've only been on weekdays. They have delicious salads and bread here. The variety of bread is abundant and each one is carefully made and tasty. The salad options are also plentiful, so you can enjoy a variety of flavors. However, there aren't as many options for other dishes, so you might get tired of it easily. The desserts are also carefully made and delicious. I always enjoy the soup and curry as well. The staff serves tea at your table. The drink options are limited. There's coffee, oolong tea, water, and orange juice (I think there was grape juice too). If it gets any more crowded, you might not be able to just drop in on a weekday, so I recommend making a reservation for the weekend.

The bread and tapas were all delicious. I wanted to eat more, but as a person in their forties, my stomach was full. The lunch for 3500 yen was very satisfying! You can also buy bread at the bakery next door, so it's nice to buy your favorite bread and take it home!

There is a two-hour time limit, but with the limited number of dishes and the not-so-large buffet area, I felt that I could still enjoy a leisurely meal. The only downside is the difficulty in making a reservation.

I've always wanted to try the lunch buffet. Since I couldn't make a reservation, I lined up! It starts at 11 o'clock, but I went around 10 o'clock and lined up. I was worried about the terrace, but there was also indoor seating, so I felt relieved. The food was delicious as expected. But I couldn't eat that much, haha.

This is my third visit. There are many types of bread and they are delicious! I always want to try all the types of bread, but there are also other dishes that catch my eye, so I have to make adjustments and choose what I want to eat. There are also appetizers next to the salad that make it hard to decide. I didn't eat much of the hard bread this time, so I'll try it next time.

I'm on a diet and don't want to eat too much, so I ordered a non-alcoholic drink with a small amount of side dishes! I ordered a drink that was like a Strawberry Kitty. The potato salad in the second picture was exquisite, rich, and I crushed the soft-boiled egg to eat it! This potato salad is my favorite ♥ The garlic shrimp was also delicious with large shrimp and bread. The cheesecake was Basque-style, smooth, and had a gentle mouthfeel. All the dishes were delicious, the atmosphere was good, and I thought I would like to come back again.

The desserts change depending on the season, and when I went, there was an American cherry parfait available. I couldn't resist ordering it. I also ordered other desserts, and the cheesecake and chocolate cake were all delicious! It's a bit far from Shinjuku Station, so it seems better to come from Nishi-Shinjuku!
