I sometimes hesitate about how to address people who I can't tell if they are grandfathers or grandmothers because they have short hair. ・A friend who bought a color chick at a downtown fair sprayed with blue or red color every day expecting it to lay eggs, but it turned out to be all male. ・In a foreign hotel, I saw strange Japanese with mistakes like confusing "so" and "n" and "ri", or "nu" and "su". ・Even Japanese people sometimes can't distinguish between "tsu" and "shi", so my real name is also written as "Ashitsu". So, these characters can also be mistaken for "u". ・Therefore, today's morning is at Yomoda Soba, where you can change from soba to ramen noodles using a #lasoba exchange ticket. ・The other day, I had warm #lasoba, so today I ordered morning curry set to have cold one. Although I was told "please wait a moment," it was served in about 3 minutes. ・The thin noodles are impressive, like the ramen version of somen noodles. The cold broth also has a slight sweetness, and this mysterious combination is nice. ・The croquette I ordered after a long time has the sweetness and crispy texture of potatoes, with fine pieces of meat and a simple deliciousness. ・The curry has the usual spicy taste, with a slightly chunky texture that comes from various ingredients. ・It seems to be a service only at the Ginza store, but I hope they will do it at other branches as well.

I enjoy eating at standing soba noodle shops on weekends, but they don't open early on Sundays! I saved this place for such an occasion! I cycled 24 kilometers to strengthen my butt early in the morning on Sunday, and there were not many cars on the road, so it was smooth sailing! I arrived a little after 8 o'clock, ordered the morning curry set for 450 yen, handed the money to the staff, and soon received my food! Oh no! The portion size is like a child's meal! What a mistake! The soba noodles had some fried tempura crumbs on top, but there were hardly any noodles, and the curry rice had no flavor. Is something wrong with the curry's taste? It may be cheap at 450 yen, but it felt expensive to me! Thank you for the meal! I won't be coming back here!

A stylish restaurant with a signboard featuring soba and Indian curry side by side. The narrow interior, resembling an eel's bed, has only counter seats facing the wall. Purchase your meal ticket at the ticket machine near the entrance, submit it to the kitchen, and your food will be served in no time. This time, I ordered the summer limited edition grated fried eggplant soba for 590 yen, along with the restaurant's recommended curry for 350 yen. The soba has a strong dashi flavor, but the grated daikon radish mellows out the taste nicely. The soba itself is not dry, and considering the price, it is quite satisfying. The portion size is also sufficient to be satisfying even as a standalone meal. The fried eggplant is large and substantial. As for the curry, the rice was a bit hard. The curry roux has a good balance of tomato acidity and spices, making it delicious. I'm not sure if this is what Indian curry is supposed to be like, but it was definitely appealing. In any case, being able to be satisfied for less than 1,000 yen in the heart of Ginza is truly appreciated. Thank you for the meal.

A little while ago, I had the Yomoda curry at Yomoda in Nihonbashi. Oh, Yomoda curry is really tasty!! In the summer, I crave sour snacks like Karumuchu, spicy dishes like curry, chilled tan tan men, chilled Chinese noodles, chilled noodles, etc. However, I can't eat a lot of rice with spicy curry, but I still want to eat it. So, the half Yomoda curry at Yomoda is perfect for me!! After work, I stopped by Yomoda in Ginza alone. Next to Yomoda, there was a fancy Italian gelato shop where sparkling girls were lining up. Well, I went straight to Yomoda. It was hot near the ticket machine at the entrance of Yomoda. I thought I wanted to eat Yomoda curry but I didn't want to eat it in the heat, I wanted to eat it in a cool place, so I hesitated for a moment, but I decided to have Yomoda curry after all. As a result, I proceeded into the long store and it was pleasantly cool. I ordered the half Yomoda curry with a raw egg on top and added korosuke. The rice portion was not too much this time, which was good for me who prefers more curry than rice. The curry was rich and the rice was just enough. I couldn't get freshly fried korosuke, but it still had a warm touch. Mixing the raw egg into the Yomoda curry was delicious! Yum yum yum yum yum, marvelous!! I wanted to eat spicy curry! But I don't need that much! Yomoda curry perfectly met my needs! Yomoda curry is really delicious. I am satisfied.

I visited the restaurant around 7:30 pm on a weekday and it was almost full, but I was able to get a seat at the back without waiting. The most popular dish here is the "Mountain-sized Moyashi Noodles Soba" which I ordered, along with adding a side of half-sized curry for 350 yen. It had been a while since I last ate here, and I felt like the spiciness had increased compared to before (or maybe it's just my imagination). The soba broth is made from bonito, mackerel, and kelp, and the curry rice is also made with the soba broth, which is why this place is so popular. My favorite dish is the "Mountain-sized Moyashi Noodles Soba" for 540 yen. If you like bean sprouts, I recommend trying it as they are lightly blanched and crunchy, with a delicious sesame flavor and crispy tempura as a nice accent. The condiments on each table only include shichimi pepper, so be sure to get other seasonings like sesame oil and chili oil from the serving area. Another recommended dish besides the Moyashi Soba is the "Iwakami Ginger Tempura Soba". The Yomoda curry is also a good option, made with a hint of soba broth and a spicy kick, but be warned that it is quite spicy for those with low tolerance.

Despite being located in Ginza 4-chome, the prices for the standing soba are reasonable and very much appreciated. The price is good, and the taste is good too. The soba is delicious, but the curry here is also outstanding with authentic spice flavors. The mini tanuki soba mini curry set for 560 yen was devoured in no time. The half set was not satisfying enough. I regret not getting the regular portion of curry, as it was so good (laughs).

The morning curry set for 480 yen was surprisingly filling. The curry was spicier than expected, leaving me full and sweaty even in the morning. The soba was average, but considering the price, it was satisfying.

I arrived at this curry place around 1:15 pm, and the lunchtime line was starting to calm down so I was able to get in. The curry here is authentic and not overly complicated, so even when you're feeling under the weather like with a hangover, you can still enjoy it. The soba noodles have a slightly sweet broth and firm noodles. When you add a little curry roux to the soba, it becomes curry soba and tastes delicious.

I came to Yomoda to have the morning set meal. Today's order: Morning Curry Set (half tanuki soba, half Yomoda curry). There are three morning set meals available: [A] Tororo Set Meal, [B] Natto Set Meal, [C] Morning Curry Set Meal. Even though there is a ticket where you can choose A, B, or C, when I handed the ticket to the staff, they asked if curry was okay, showing the overwhelming popularity of curry. Both the soba and curry were served in half portions, making it a satisfying meal without being too heavy in the morning. It was delicious as always. Thank you for the meal.

I went from Tsukiji to Ginza and ended up at Yomoda. It had been a while since I last visited. I impulsively ordered the Extra Large Kakiage Seiro for 530 yen (tax included). The soba was dark and the kakiage was huge. The kakiage had a lot of ingredients, mostly onions. I wonder how many pieces were in there. The soba and dipping sauce were of Yomoda quality, very delicious. The Extra Large Kakiage is best enjoyed with warm soba. I struggled a bit when dipping the kakiage in the sauce, as it's difficult not to break it apart. I regret not choosing the burdock tempura or ginger tempura as an alternative. I'll think about it for next time.

Mori Soba for 350 yen and Han-yomoda Curry for 350 yen. The soba has a good texture, aroma, and delicious dipping sauce. For a typical Japanese soba restaurant, the quality would warrant a price of 1000 yen. The curry has a well-balanced blend of spices with just the right amount of spiciness. The curry after the soba is exquisite. A perfect way to end the night in Ginza.

Delicious!! I visited around 3 pm on a weekday and it was crowded, but the turnover was fast so it started to empty out by the time I left. The restaurant was known for its delicious curry (which was indeed spicy and tasty), but the soba noodles were also excellent! Thank you for the meal. I will definitely visit again.

Tempura soba and inari set for ¥680. With the recent increase in prices, it's becoming difficult to have a normal lunch in Ginza. So this time, I searched for something under ¥1,000 and found this place. The huge tempura was freshly fried, crispy and piping hot. The soba portion was surprisingly generous, and the inari was about twice the size of normal ones. For this price, the quality, quantity, and satisfaction were all great. Thank you for the meal.

In July 2023, both restaurants raised their prices by 50 yen. It's tough for both places. It seems like the number of customers has decreased, maybe because people's salaries haven't increased. Today, despite the hot weather, I had warm tempura soba. Be careful, as the tempura can soak up the broth if you're not quick enough. I'll eat quickly and head home. I'll visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I had spring chrysanthemum soba for lunch. The noodles were very delicious. However, it seems like the spring chrysanthemum had been fried for a while, so while the taste wasn't bad, it reminded me of the squid snacks from a candy store haha. I wonder if this is normal for this type of place. Maybe I shouldn't expect too much since it's cheap. I'll try something without fried food next time. I think the cost performance is very good.

I moved from a standing bar to this restaurant, which was quite clean and nice. I came for the curry, but it's a soba shop, so I ordered a set of soba and curry. The visual presentation was not what I expected from a soba shop's curry, but in a good way. The curry was light and fragrant with spices. I started with the cold soba, which was nothing special but had a comforting taste. I mixed in the raw egg and finished it all. Now, onto the curry, which had a hint of whole cumin and was a truly authentic curry. I probably should have ordered a regular size. The rice was a bit sticky, typical of a soba shop, but it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

My current favorite quick meal in Ginza when I want something light is half tanuki (tempura flakes) half curry with geso (squid legs) tempura topping. Having either one in full is a bit too heavy for me these days. I can't stop going to Yomoda Soba, even though I think I might be getting old. The Ginza branch plays music by The Beatles, which is nice and calming. The long, narrow store is like an eel's bed, and it can get quite crowded during peak hours, but it's all worth it!

Probably a restaurant that can satisfy about 80% of us common people. Yomoda Soba. Located in Ginza, a popular destination for foreign visitors, this restaurant focuses on being cheap, fast, and delicious. It's no longer just Toyota of the world, it's Yomoda of the world. I stayed at a hotel in Ginza 2-chome and visited this place for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Many eateries in the Ginza and Yurakucho area are unexpectedly closed on Sundays, so it was great that this place was open. I purchased a set of tanuki soba and curry from the ticket machine. The soba was not only served quickly but also of high quality in terms of taste. The broth was well made and surpassed even standing soba shops. The spiced curry was also authentic and didn't lose to curry specialty stores. The rice was cooked slightly firm to match the watery curry, which was nice. With the prices of ingredients rising across the board, it's really amazing that they can provide such cheap, fast, and delicious food in Ginza.

I think the quality of soba at this standing-eating style soba shop is quite good. The curry is also of specialty shop level. Of course, it's not like imagining an Indian curry specialty shop in a soba shop. And importantly, both the soba and curry are reasonably priced. I will definitely go back if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

I had the morning set meal C for 450 yen and the red pickled ginger tempura for 130 yen until 11 a.m. I chose option C from the ABC morning set and when I told the staff, they thought I wanted curry. The Ginza branch is my first visit, and it is spacious like the Nihonbashi branch, with only seating available. Even on a weekday at 10 a.m., it was quite crowded. The red pickled ginger tempura is quite flavorful, and it's good to eat it dipped in the broth. The morning set meal includes half soba noodles and it's a great deal. Thank you for the meal! I tend to choose curry, but I would like to try different menu items as well.

I have been here a few times in the past, but this is my first time writing a review. I was planning to go to a different restaurant, but found out it was closed on weekends. It was past 1 pm and I was really hungry, so I decided to go for a quick standing soba option. I chose this place because it was right by the station. I personally prefer Komoro soba over Yomoda soba, so I wasn't a big fan of the broth here. The restaurant is narrow, making it difficult for people to pass by. The seats towards the back have good air conditioning. The staff seemed a bit detached or maybe just overly direct? When I placed my food ticket, they told me to wait right there. The soba I ordered had potato with mustard on top, but it wasn't very tasty. I should have stuck with my usual choice of grated yam.
