I've always wanted to try Jajangmyeon, Champon, and Tangsuyuk, so I finally went to this popular restaurant. It was a weekday night, but we had to wait a bit. The Champon was spicy and had an instant noodle-like taste, while the Jajangmyeon had a sweet flavor. It was nice to alternate between the two dishes. The Tangsuyuk was crispy and light. The portion was generous, and my friend and I couldn't finish all three dishes, so we took the leftover Tangsuyuk home. There are many other Pegyeongon restaurants, so I'd like to try a different one next time. ☺️

Sunny with occasional showers, another hot day today, just before 2 PM. I visited Hong Kong Restaurant 0410 for the first time in about a year to have their Tan Sukiyaki for ¥1,700. Since there were two of us today, we decided to order the spicy-looking Champon for ¥880 instead of the usual huge plate of Jumbo Champon for two at ¥1,950. It was a bit more expensive, but as always, it was delicious and full of ingredients. The unique addictive taste that can only be found here. I was very satisfied with being able to eat it. Many stores in the city center are closed for the Obon holiday, but I'm glad that there are many open shops in the Shin-Okubo area. There are plenty of roadside parking spaces, and there is a large parking lot on the Kabukicho side, making it easy to visit the area. Grateful.

We usually have to wait in line, but today it was raining so we were able to get in quickly! All the dishes are delicious, but the Jajangmyeon at the Hong Kong Restaurant is the best! The Jajang bap is also delicious, I always end up ordering two. The Tangsuyuk that you eat with the Jajangmyeon is also incredibly delicious! There's so much food, it's delicious, and above all, the prices are cheap so it's very helpful. There are a lot of Korean customers here, I think it's because it tastes like authentic Korean food. It's also great that you can take home any leftovers!

Whenever I watch Korean dramas, I always crave Jjajangmyeon and Sweet and Sour Pork! This restaurant serves authentic Korean flavors (^ ^) It's always crowded, so I came right when it opened! It's always delicious no matter how many times I come here~ ( ´∀`)

The price is very reasonable and the portion is amazing! We ordered the Chaja noodles and the Dance Yukgae, both in large servings, and our family of three was completely satisfied. The Chaja noodles and Dance Yukgae are sweet, so even children can enjoy them! Next time, I want to try the Champon noodles.

Located between Shinjuku Kabukicho and Shin-Okubo, this place is frequented by people of various nationalities. It has always been like this, but recently it has a new foreign vibe. At this restaurant, you can enjoy dishes that often appear in Korean movies. • Jjajangmyeon 780 yen Similar to Jajangmyeon but slightly different. Generous portion, sweet and bold flavor, giving you a taste of a foreign country. • Tangsuyuk 1700 yen Deep-fried pork with vegetable stir-fry in sweet sauce. The portion is huge. It is said to be derived from Chinese sweet and sour pork. • Champon 880 yen It may be inspired by Japanese Champon, but it's a different dish. It tastes like Champon with kimchi. I saw people sitting at the counter by the window, enjoying their meal. Foreign tourists coming in and out of the high-rise hotel across the street, foreigners walking or cycling on the street, but they might actually be Japanese born and raised. It felt like a cyberpunk version of Japan seen in Hollywood movies. However, I think I ate too much. Thank you for the meal!

It is the first Japanese branch of the famous Korean chain "Hong Kong Restaurant 0410+" specializing in Korean champon noodles. The shop has its main store in Seoul, causing some confusion with the name of the shop. Nevertheless, you can enjoy authentic Jjajangmyeon here. The chain store has a clean and lively atmosphere. The Jjajangmyeon has a sweet miso and vegetable flavor, which impressed me with its unique taste. It satisfied my desire for something a little different.

I couldn't find a place where I could eat authentic Jajangmyeon, so after several failed attempts, I prioritize safety and usually come to the Hong Kong Restaurant. There is always a long line, but I was able to get in smoothly this time, probably because it was raining and at an odd hour. I was planning to visit another restaurant next, so I just had a light meal of Jajangmyeon and sweet and sour pork. It was reliably delicious.

I had a spicy Korean champong. The noodles were ordinary Chinese noodles, and the ingredients were decent in volume, but there wasn't much seafood, mostly vegetables and wood ear mushrooms. The spiciness of the soup was a straight-forward heat typical of Korean cuisine, with a kick from red chili pepper.

Jajangmyeon, a Korean-style noodle dish, is best enjoyed at this restaurant which offers the most authentic taste and great value for money. Located in Higashi Shinjuku, it has been popular for a long time and always has long lines. Created by the top food entrepreneur in Korea, Mr. Paek, there are several of his restaurants in the Higashi Shinjuku area. If you're near Akasaka, it's recommended to visit the one there as it tends to be less crowded.

Today's "Solitary Gourmet" dinner edition takes place at the Korean-style Chinese restaurant "Hong Kong Restaurant 0410 Shinjuku East Store" in Kabukicho, which has its main branch in Seoul. I indulge in my favorite dishes, Jajangbap (fried sauce rice) and Korean champon. Jajangbap is like omurice with jjajangmyeon sauce, a dish I fell in love with six years ago when I visited Ilsan, South Korea and ate it every day at a local student hangout. While the portion at Hong Kong Restaurant is not as big, back then in Gangnam, a cup of coffee at a fancy café cost around 1000 yen, while the set with Korean champon was only about 200 yen. Ordering both dishes at Hong Kong Restaurant costs 1800 yen, which is quite a difference. Hong Kong Restaurant in Kabukicho, popular among Koreans, always has long lines due to Korean shoppers from places like Korea Plaza, but the Harajuku 109 store is usually less crowded. The champon has a rich flavor, while the Jajangbap is reminiscent of the light taste I miss from Ilsan. Isn't it time to stop the yen depreciation policy?

I once gave up on lining up at a restaurant on a holiday, but was able to get in right away on a weekday right after opening. The spicy soup and ingredients had a great combination, and the pickles and onions served as a palate cleanser surprisingly matched well. If I had to mention one thing, I wish the noodles were a bit thicker and chewier. It's a place I'd like to visit regularly. Next time, I might try the Jajangmyeon.

At first, it was just a Champon specialty store, so the spicy Champon here is seriously delicious. It can get crowded during meal times, so I recommend going before they open! This time, I went 5 minutes before opening and there were already about 4 groups in line, but we were able to get in smoothly. The Tangsuyuk (Korean-style sweet and sour pork) is crispy at first, but as you chew, the coating becomes chewy, which is amazing! The sauce is already on it when it comes out, but as time passes, the crispiness of the coating disappears, so if you want it crispy, you can ask for the sauce on the side. The Champon here is so deliciously spicy, it's truly impressive! They also have a dish called Champon Pub, which has less noodles but includes rice, which is also intriguing. The grilled Champon was so delicious that I finished it quickly. The oyster-based original sauce is irresistible! I visited the location in East Shinjuku this time, but there is also one right near Shin-Okubo Station! Thank you for the meal!

I was finally able to get into a restaurant that is always crowded. Luckily, there were no waiting customers this time, so I could enter. I tried the Cha-Jang noodles (priced at 780 yen), which had a difficult-to-describe, rich flavor sauce that coated the noodles well. I was worried about getting the sauce on my clothes while eating, but they provided paper aprons in the drawer, so you can use them without asking.

It was delicious. The atmosphere felt like Korea and the flavors were authentic Korean. We arrived at the restaurant around 19:50 and there were 2 people waiting in front of the shop. We ordered Janchi Guksu and Tangsuyuk (Korean-style sweet and sour pork). It was my first time trying Janchi Guksu, so I was really looking forward to it. The noodles were soft with a good seafood aroma, a moderate spiciness, and a strong sweetness. Personally, I can handle spiciness well, so my reaction may not be very helpful, but my companion found it extremely spicy. The customer next to us also said it was too spicy, so if you're not good with spicy food, it may not be for you. The Tangsuyuk had a honey-like sweetness. There were many female customers in the restaurant.

I lined up for the Jajangmyeon priced at 980 yen, but was able to enter smoothly. The customer service by the staff was polite, which was good for the Shin-Okubo area. As for the taste of the Jajangmyeon, I personally couldn't appreciate its deliciousness. Thank you for the meal.

Every time I go to Shokason Street in Shin-Okubo, there is always a line, but this time I happened to go during lunchtime on a weekday and was able to get in with almost no wait. I was aiming for the famous grilled champon, but since I didn't know how spicy it was, I opted for the jajangmyeon this time. It was filling and delicious. Next time, I plan to come with someone else and try the champon.

Lunch on 03/16... Chejang noodles at Hong Kong Restaurant 0410 for 780 yen... Paid in cash... Good service, fast delivery, delicious taste, complimentary cold water, good portion size, good value for money... Chejang noodles are different from the "Jajangmyeon" known to Japanese people. I understand that the miso mixed noodles are the same, but the taste itself is completely different. I will continue to enjoy this taste that I have become accustomed to!
