I revisited after a long time on a Saturday around 12:00. There was a wait for 4 people. Nevertheless, I really wanted to eat at Shinami Sato, so I naturally lined up. I also really wanted to eat the super spicy sesame ramen, but at this rate, it seems like I may never get the chance, so today I made the strong decision to eat the super spicy sesame ramen. After about 20 minutes, I was seated. I ordered the super spicy sesame ramen for 2,530 yen and the seasonal mixed rice (this time it was dry curry) for 220 yen, bringing the total to 2,750 yen including tax. The food was served in about 5 minutes. There was a large amount of kaiware (radish sprouts) on top, and they even provided a small plate for emergency kaiware evacuation. It's these little details that are great. I took a sip of the soup. Incredibly delicious. Just like the soy sauce ramen, it perfectly combines sweetness, bitterness, acidity, saltiness, umami, and aroma, while also providing that satisfying feeling of eating ramen on an empty stomach. The famous chashu pork was also present, hidden underneath the kaiware, and bits of it were scattered throughout to be enjoyed with the noodles and bean sprouts. I ate the dry curry mixed rice, savored the soup, ate the noodles and bean sprouts, enjoyed the chashu, savored the soup again, ate the chashu, savored the soup again... and repeated until there was no soup left. Suddenly, I saw a document posted apologizing for the price increase. It mentioned that it's becoming difficult to continue operation due to rising costs, hence the necessity of the price increase, and it even mentioned contemplating closing down, which startled me. Please, I hope they don't actually think about closing down. Even with the price increase, I'll continue to come here as much as possible, so I hope they don't shut down. Admittedly, 2,530 yen is quite high for a bowl of ramen. However, I believe that trying to find a meal with the same level of satisfaction as Shinami Sato's super spicy sesame ramen would likely cost even more in most cases. Considering that, I don't think the super spicy sesame ramen is expensive at all, and the soy sauce ramen, which you can eat for under 2,000 yen, is actually quite a bargain.
