Today, I visited a place called Silk Road for the first time. It is an arcade street. I started with an Orion beer. The appetizer was mozuku vinegar. I ordered fried island tofu as a side dish. The tofu was slightly firm, fried perfectly, and topped with a delicious sauce with seaweed. It was a comforting dish. I also ordered an additional sake flight with three types of Awamori, recommended by the staff, especially a beautiful one called "Beautiful Hometown." It was delicious. The background music playing Okinawan songs added to the great atmosphere. This post marks my 300th visit to a restaurant in Akabane, feeling like a milestone. There are still many wonderful restaurants in Akabane, and I am grateful for the opportunity to visit so many of them, meet great people, and enjoy good food and drinks. I used it for the first time at the post-event party. I had sea grapes, goya champuru, rafute, somen champuru, soki soba, and mozuku. I also enjoyed Orion beer and awamori. You can enjoy Okinawan cuisine and Okinawan liquor, so let's overlook the rest.

I was called to visit casually and didn't order much, but I wanted to try something Okinawan, so I chose Rafute (forgot to take a picture). It was incredibly tender and fatty, just amazing. I'm usually not a fan of fatty pork like chashu or pig's feet, but this was perfect as a drinking snack!

I wanted to have a casual drink in Akabane. I walked through Ichiban Street and found an Okinawan restaurant on the left side of Silk Road. Since I'm from Ishigaki Island, it felt nostalgic and I couldn't resist going in. The first thing I ordered was an ice-cold beer. The glass was frozen. It's the best in summer, isn't it? I also tried an Uchincha Highball, which brought back fond memories. I saw a Hub liquor from a distance but decided not to try it. The appetizer was Rafute, which made me so happy. Since I was short on time, I ordered Mozuku tempura and Goya salad. The Mozuku tempura was crispy and chewy, with a taste that reminded me of Okinawa. It's recommended to eat it with salt. The Goya salad was thinly sliced, so even if you're not a fan of bitter gourd, you might be okay with it. It's good for your health, so give it a try. I'm looking forward to going back when I have more time, as there are many other enticing menu items. I heard they occasionally have live events with Okinawan sanshin performances. I'm excited to go back. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Fu Chanpuru, sea grapes, and Irabu-chanpuru (Aobudai) are highly recommended here ★★★ Try these three dishes to get a sense of the quality of this restaurant. They also have a variety of awamori, making it one of the best Okinawan restaurants in Akabane! P.S. The Sanpin High is also recommended! (゜∇^d)!!

On a hot day, this is exactly what you crave! "Orion Beer & Goya Champuru at Rikkasai, Akabane." The portion of Goya is even bigger than in the menu photo, which makes me so happy. Now, what else should I order? It was incredibly delicious! ⭐(￣∇￣*)ゞ

The portions are huge. If you order a few dishes, be aware that one person may not be able to finish it all.

I visited a restaurant in Silk Road with a friend who wanted to try Okinawan cuisine. There were only two other groups there at the time. We had Orion beer and Nami no Shiro while ordering dishes like Somen Champuru, sea grape salad, and a fish tempura that my friend had enjoyed in Okinawa before (forgot the name). Everything tasted okay, nothing special. My friend even said they could probably make these dishes at home. We ended the meal with Soki Soba, which was decent but not incredibly delicious.

I went to a girls' gathering again! It's still delicious and cozy ^_^ This time, we ordered taco rice and purple sweet potato tempura. The menu has no disappointments, so there are many dishes I want to try (๑>◡<๑)

The seafood and Goya champuru were delicious! The alcohol was also from Okinawa! Just be aware that you can't get in without a reservation.

I wanted to eat Okinawan cuisine, so I made a reservation because it's always crowded. The phone reservation was not very pleasant, but I still decided to visit. We were not allowed to sit on the first floor even though there were empty seats, so we had to climb the steep stairs to the second floor with elderly parents. The menu had dishes like Jushi, tasty Mozuku tempura, okay Rafute, but the Agu Sausage was dry and the Okinawan Soba was not very delicious. There was no sashimi available and they were out of bottled beer on a Friday, which made me question their preparedness. Overall, there were hardly any positive points about this restaurant. Very disappointing. I will not be going back.

The manager is very kind. The female staff at the counter are also friendly. It's a casual Okinawan cuisine restaurant where you can feel at ease.

Orion beer is ice cold! The taste is delicious! And the cost performance is great!

You can enjoy Okinawan snacks at a good cost performance. The interior of the restaurant also has a Okinawan atmosphere.

Visited this place as the fifth stop during a day drinking session with friends in Akabane. We ended up staying until evening without realizing it. The atmosphere was welcoming and it was conveniently located near the station, so we decided to check it out. We were seated on the second floor this time. There were a few small tatami rooms for 4 people and a larger tatami room for about 8 people. We ordered a platter of Okinawan appetizers and some Okinawan craft beers, including Kölsch and Altbier. The appetizer platter included mozuku vinegar, sea grapes, and island pickled shallots. Among them, the sea grapes were outstanding with a delightful texture and refreshing taste. The mozuku vinegar and pickled shallots were also good. The Okinawan craft beers, SANGO BEER, were not bad either. This place seems to have a lot of potential, and I would like to come back when I'm hungry to try more dishes and enjoy more SANGO BEER!
