Visited "La Boutique De Joel Robuchon Roppongi Hills Store" in Roppongi. It is a bakery operated by a world-renowned French restaurant in Roppongi Hills. I love their bread, even though it is dangerously high in calories. The pastries have explosive power, but I can't resist. The red and black themed interior clearly screams "Joel Robuchon's store!" I couldn't decide what to get, but I ultimately chose these three items and paid with QUICPay:
- Strawberry and Cream Cheese Croissant (520 yen tax included): A must-try at Joel Robuchon's. It is a sweet croissant with a cookie dough topping and strawberry cream cheese filling. It is a calorie monster, but impossible to resist.
- Apple Quinoa Man (420 yen tax included): A winter limited edition bread, the second most popular item. The caramel-coated crispy bread is filled with apple like an apple pie. The mix of sweet and sour flavors is delightful.
- English Muffin (120 yen tax included): A simple and delicious muffin that is perfect for breakfast, especially with added butter.
All the items were delicious, with a level of quality that is expected from Joel Robuchon. I will definitely be back for more. Highly recommended! Thank you for the great meal.

About a 5-minute walk from Roppongi Station on the Hibiya Line. Today I bought two types of bread for a total of 940 yen.- Cranberry and cream cheese rye bread for 380 yen: This is my second time buying it. It is filled with plenty of cheese, dried fruits, and nuts. The rye flavor is great and highly recommended.- Mushroom feuilleté for 560 yen: A crispy croissant pastry filled with four types of mushrooms (shiitake, button mushroom, eryngii, shimeji). It's a bread that makes you feel the autumn. I enjoyed it until the last bite. Thank you for the delicious meal.

◼️World's most Michelin-starred genius chef Joel Robuchon's first-ever bread specialty brand. The Roppongi branch is attached to a restaurant. ◆ Robuchon's curry bread [Most popular item in the store] filled with pumpkin, eggplant, and cheese. Not spicy but flavorful. Topped with coarse breadcrumbs for added texture. ◼️Shop◼️Credit cards accepted. World's first Robuchon bread specialty store. Shibuya is the flagship store. Later expanded to boutique stores offering cakes and more. Brand of Joel Robuchon, the genius chef with the most Michelin stars in the world. 33 stars in 13 cities in 11 countries. A legendary figure in the culinary world known to all. Too much information to write here, so some details are omitted. Managed by Forseeds Inc. Also operates "Pizza La," "Kushi Katsu Dengan," and many other stores. ◼️The prices are on the higher side, but the satisfaction you get is worth it. Unique bread that cannot be found anywhere else.

After having a meal at Roppongi Hills, I wanted to have a delicious dessert so I decided to get some takeout from this Robuchon. Since it was past 7 pm when I visited, there weren't many options available, but I chose the Cassis Champagne Mousse which had a mix of blackcurrant and Concord grape mousse with champagne jelly that created an indescribable deliciousness. And the Rouge, which had pistachio cream filling, was also very tasty. Both were truly remarkable as you would expect from Robuchon. The bread was also great, with chestnut rustique and cappuccino cafe chocolat. Needless to say, there was no way they could be bad. Next time, I'll come at a different time to have more options to choose from.

Every time I go to Hills, I always make sure to visit this bakery. The shop is located near United Arrows on a street lined with boutiques. It is a small space, but they have a wide variety of products. My favorite is the cream pan! However, this time they didn't have it, so I tried the seasonal limited chestnut cream pan instead. I also got a curry pan for 500 yen. Their curry pan is baked and not greasy, with a crispy texture that I love. They also sell baguette sandwiches, cakes, cookies, and tea, but this time I only bought bread. Everything they make is delicious, but my top recommendation is still the cream pan. It looks unique, but it's a popular item at other stores too. They offer many limited edition products depending on the season, so you'll never get bored even after multiple visits. They even had a limited edition matcha and chestnut scone for fall. The tea they sell is Salon de Nina's for some reason!

My wife asked me to buy dress shoes to wear to a friend's wedding, and since I wanted to watch a movie, we decided to head to Roppongi Hills. Roppongi is a place I often visit for music production work, but I don't usually go to the Hills side, so it felt refreshing. Inside the building, there were large spider-like sculptures and fancy shops that gave off a luxurious vibe. We started browsing for shoes on the first floor, which was packed with high-end brands that were overwhelming. As we went up to the second floor, I spotted my favorite Maison L'Obusson, which I love visiting in Shinjuku and Shibuya. I got excited and decided to finish shopping first and head there. I ordered the following:
- L'Obusson's curry bread for 380 yen
- Croissant for 280 yen x2
- Pain au Chocolat for 300 yen
- Pain de Mie for 410 yen
I really love the bread here, especially the plain toast that I eat without any spreads. It's such a great deal for the price. The croissants and pain au chocolat have the same delicious taste consistently. While there are many other intricate bread options, these classic ones are my favorite. I tried the curry bread for the first time, and even when cold, it was delicious with its crispy outer layer and slightly spicy flavor. There's also an eat-in area where you can have dinner, so I'd like to try that next time. You can also order from Uber, so I highly recommend trying the bread from L'Obusson. I definitely want to go back!

I visited the other day. I bought the curry bread, which was ranked as the most popular, and my kids found it a little spicy, but I personally liked the subtle spiciness of the curry matched with corn and cheese. The crispy outer layer was also great. I want to try a different one next time.

A bakery and cake shop located in a prime location within Roppongi Hills. While not cheap, considering the quality of the pastries and cakes, the prices are quite reasonable. If you're looking for an affordable dessert or cake in Roppongi Hills, options are limited, so purchasing Danish pastries or tarts from this shop can be a good alternative. A hidden gem is the fruit tart, particularly the pineapple tart which tasted delicious with a high-quality pineapple cake feel. The red pepper adds a nice touch. Cream-based Danish pastries are also good. The shop has a chic and pleasant atmosphere, making shopping there a nice experience. They also have seating available.

I went to buy some bread. The front entrance seemed a little intimidating, but it was easier to enter from the left side. As soon as I entered, I found the bread corner. There were so many delicious options, making it hard to choose. The prices were a bit high, but each bread had its own uniqueness and tasted really good, so I thought it was worth it. I bought four for just over 2,000 yen.

Last time, I took Beatrice with me to see the Bulgari 75th anniversary exhibition in front of the boutique, and while shopping, she waited with Papa in front of the door. But this time, we went to watch a movie and stopped by the counter to get something cold before lunch, only to find out that they were closed until dinner. So we decided to buy some summer limited items, including a Focaccia (¥580) with sausages, corn, paprika, zucchini, and other summer vegetables, a Crème d'Amande with sweet orange and passion fruit (¥580), a Fougasse with potatoes and curry (¥460), and a round curry bun (¥360). The highlight was the Poulet de Curry by Robuchon, which perfectly showcased the essence of Viennoiserie. It had a delicate and crumbly texture with a rich curry flavor, tender chicken, and finely chopped onions, all enhanced by the boldness of black pepper. The round curry bun had an appealing appearance and a crispy outer layer, but the bread was slightly thicker, and the curry filling was less intense compared to the 1931-established Mitaka's Crown Bakery, which won the Gold Prize at the 2022 Curry Bun Grand Prix. However, when we chilled the Crème d'Amande with sweet orange and passion fruit in the fridge and enjoyed it cold, the perfect amount of cream and juicy fruits made it a hit. It was a delightful feast of summer limited bread, with the Poulet de Curry and the sweet orange and passion fruit Crème d'Amande being the highlights.

Visited on August 13, 2023, at 12:47. There were about four people in the store purchasing bread. On this day, it was for takeout (I wonder if you can eat in the cafe at the back…). I purchased the following: Curry Pan (most popular, 360 yen), Feuille Citron (summer limited edition, 420 yen), and Summer Vegetable & Cheese Feuille (summer limited edition, 490 yen). - Curry Pan: The surface was crispy, and the inside had a relatively sweet curry with corn. It was delicious. - Feuille Citron: As the name suggests, it had a strong citrus acidity. - Summer Vegetable & Cheese Feuille: Despite the cheese on the Danish pastry dough, it was lighter than expected.

In Ebisu, there is a famous Michelin 3-star restaurant called "Joel Robuchon." Next to its sister restaurant, "l'Atelier de Joel Robuchon" (Michelin 1-star) in Roppongi Hills, there is a bakery. Today, many customers visited the bakery in search of delicious bread. It's a popular place!
[Todays take-out bread]
- Feuillete Citron - Crispy lemon cream croissant - ¥420 (tax included)
- Poulle Curry - Crispy curry flavored chicken croissant - ¥460 (tax included)
- Tuna and summer vegetable quiche - ¥670 (tax included)
- Cannele - ¥370 (tax included)
I visited around 4:00 pm on a holiday, aiming to try the "Cigare Chocolat" that I had before and couldn't forget. However, I couldn't find it on display. After searching for a while, I spotted a price card with the words "Feuillete Citron"! Plus, it's a summer limited edition and seems to be the most popular item. Only one piece was left, so I immediately grabbed it. It seems like during this season, they have suspended the Cigare Chocolat and are promoting the Citron instead.
The outer croissant pastry is crispy but very soft and chewy inside. The cream is of such high quality, it's surprising! The sweet and sour taste is easy to imagine, but the cream has an airy texture. It pairs perfectly with the chewy croissant, creating a delightful combination. It was truly delicious! The cream itself is so good that I wish they sold it separately. If you like sweet pastries, this is a must-try!
The bread here is at a high level of quality, with no disappointing choices. Overall, it's a high-quality restaurant that serves excellent bread. Thank you for the meal! Ahh!

Named after the late Joel Robuchon, a renowned chef with the most Michelin stars in the world, this patisserie and boulangerie also features a restaurant where you can enjoy French cuisine. I tried the croissant and cream puff this time. The croissant, which normally has 27 layers, is reduced to 16 layers to emphasize the butter. The moment you take a bite, the crispy pastry releases a burst of buttery flavor, filling your mouth with a rich buttery aroma. A must-try for butter enthusiasts. The cream puff, a treat for sweet lovers, is generously filled with custard cream made from Tahitian vanilla beans, complemented by a hint of liquor. Its appearance belies the impactful flavor it delivers.

Today, I had some free time in the morning so I visited Ishigami Park and the shops in Shin-ekoda before heading to Roppongi. I went to "LA BOUTIQUE de Joel Robuchon Roppongi Hills" to buy some bread. The shop is located on the 2nd floor of Hillside at Roppongi Hills. I visited around 3pm and the selection of items was good. I decided to buy the following: Feuilleté Citron (420 yen), Sandwich Poulet - Roast Chicken with Curry Flavor (Petit Size) (600 yen), and Poulet Curry (460 yen). I first tried the Feuilleté Citron, a crispy lemon cream croissant, and it was delicious! The lemon cream had a nice tanginess from using Setouchi lemon, and the texture and flavor were both appealing and tasty. The Sandwich Poulet - Roast Chicken with Curry Flavor, when reheated, had a crispy crust and moist crumb with a pleasant wheat aroma. The finely chopped roast chicken seasoned with curry mayonnaise and butter was delicious! The Poulet Curry, a crispy curry-flavored chicken croissant, had a crunchy Danish pastry exterior with plenty of chicken and curry sauce inside, which was flavorful and tasty. I mainly tried the summer limited edition breads, and I was satisfied with the crispy croissant texture and flavorful curry sauce. I would like to try the limited edition breads again when the season changes, and the fact that they maintain a good selection of items even in the late hours at a commercial facility is impressive. I will definitely visit again when the opportunity arises!

I love the focaccia from Robuchon and often buy it. When I toast it in the oven until it's crispy, it's the best. Seasonal vegetable breads are also delicious. I feel that the store at Hikarie has the most variety of options apart from Ebisu.

While I was at Roppongi Hills, I stopped by and found some delicious cup desserts! The mango pudding and melon blancmange looked amazing. They are perfect desserts for the summer. Although they are a bit pricey, I recommend them for getting through the hot summer days.

I visited the "La Boutique de Joel Robuchon" in Roppongi Hills as the second stop of my Roppongi bread crawl. The exterior of the shop exudes luxury, and the display of beautiful bread inside is impressive. I ordered the following items: curry pan, cream pan, brioche a la creme, tandoori chicken and vegetable focaccia, and mascarpone and chestnut honey pandemie. The mascarpone and chestnut honey pandemie was lightly sweet and fragrant, with a nice balance of flavors. The tandoori chicken and vegetable focaccia was packed with hearty ingredients and delicious spices. The curry pan, the most popular item, had a crispy exterior and a well-balanced filling of slightly spicy curry, sweet corn, and cheese. However, the standout was the cream pan, with a rich and flavorful custard filling that was simply amazing. It was the best cream pan I have ever tasted. Each bread item impressed me with its high quality, and I regret not visiting sooner. I will definitely visit other locations in the future. It was a truly exceptional experience.

Joel Robuchon is a well-known French restaurant that has been awarded three Michelin stars in the Tokyo Michelin Guide since 2008. It is a renowned establishment in the French cuisine world, and the one in Marunouchi Brick Square is a bakery, patisserie, and cafe combined, just like the one in Nihonbashi Takashimaya. This is the fifth review for me, and every time I see it, I can't help but stop by. This time, since there was some time before the movie screening, I found it while wandering around Hills (Hills Name) (lol). Robuchon isn't in Yokohama, so T-chan had their first taste, picking the top three popular items. I decided to go with the English muffin that I enjoyed during a morning meal at the Shinjuku store. The most popular item, the "Robuchon Curry Bread," has corn and cheese inside, and is a slightly spicy curry bread. The second most popular item, the "Robuchon Melon Bread," has raisins soaked in noble rot wine with an Earl Grey aroma. The third most popular item, the "Cranberry and Cream Cheese Rye Bread," features cranberry cheese with walnuts. The English muffin is simply salty and simple, which I enjoy. The "Galette Bressanne" is a brioche filled with rich milk cream that has a slight hint of acidity. The "Viennoiserie" is a plain milk bread made with butter and milk, with a gentle flavor. Prices have gone up slightly compared to when I purchased items from the Shinjuku store around a year ago, ranging from 10 to 30 yen more. I only glanced at the cakes in the pastry case, so I didn't actually purchase any. The cafe here has a more casual French dining experience with the chef finishing dishes in the open kitchen right in front of you. They offer set courses and a la carte options. Now, on this unexpectedly scorching day, let's take a break from strolling around Roppongi and cool off in the movie theater.

I was drawn to the sign advertising the curry bread for 440 yen, which is the most popular item. The outer dough was crispier than any curry bread I have ever tried, and it paired perfectly with the curry inside. I bought it for breakfast, but it was too delicious! The Roppongi store is not as crowded as other shops, which is great. I'm looking forward to trying out different flavors next time!

The cakes from Rocheron are indeed delicious. Despite the fact that the name is seen everywhere and can give off a chain store image, they maintain a quality that surpasses local cake shops. Perhaps it's because they are cakes. The coconut cake I chose this time, for summer, was especially delicious.

The English muffin created by the French master is truly a work of art. The thickness and appearance are impressive, with a perfectly round shape and finely crafted edges. Even after being frozen and baked, it retains its beauty. The cornmeal is delicate and finely textured, with a slightly crispy edge. The dough is soft, moist, and smooth. When warmed, it exudes a rich, comforting aroma. The flavor is so gentle and delicious that I couldn't bear to add any toppings and ended up eating it as is. Taking inspiration from the French master, I plan to make a croque monsieur with it next time.
