"Opened on April 18th in Asakusa, 'Asakusa Jukusei Miso Ramen Noriaki・Mimi' is a new ramen shop run by a veteran who worked for the 'Keisuke' group for 17 years. Located about a 5-minute walk from Asakusa Station A5 exit, in a quiet alley near Komagatabashi, it occupies the space where 'Shio Shoga Ramen Specialty Shop Mannish Asakusa Store' used to be. The main menu includes the following items: - Jukusei Miso Ramen: 950 yen - Jukusei Spicy Miso Ramen: 1,080 yen - Rice: 150 yen Next to the ticket vending machine, there is a raw egg from Okukujira, which is offered for free to each customer. The cozy interior has a counter with 6 seats and one table. The chef works alone and cooks in an iron pot, stirring minced meat and vegetables, creating flames. The Jukusei Miso Ramen (950 yen) comes in a tall bowl with a rich brown soup. Toppings include chashu, thick menma, sautéed vegetables, back fat, grated ginger, yuzu, and green onions. The soup has a strong umami flavor with a balanced miso taste. The sautéed vegetables add a nice smoky aroma, and the spicy miso has a balance reminiscent of Sapporo miso. However, it's not as heavy as Sapporo miso, with a smooth texture and rich flavor. The noodles are curly medium-thick noodles from Mikawaya, firm and easy to eat with the rich soup. The chashu is a large piece of simmered pork, flavorful and satisfying. The crunchy thick menma and high-quality back fat add interest and prevent monotony. Halfway through, a service of Okukujira raw egg is offered to add creaminess to the soup, which is a delightful addition. Additionally, the chef provides a small dish of 'tsukemiso' for a different taste experience, which when mixed into the soup, adds a matured umami like sea urchin. According to the chef, despite being a classic miso ramen, it doesn't leave you feeling heavy or greasy even after eating three bowls in a row, and you feel refreshed the next day. This was his criteria for menu development, and it's evident in the thoughtful service of raw egg and tsukemiso. A true testament to his years of experience."

On the second day of my business trip, I found a good-looking ramen shop near the hotel with Google. I thought miso ramen specialty shops were unique to Tokyo, but it turns out there are quite a few. The prices are quite high, with a regular miso ramen costing 1100 yen. The ramen also came with a complimentary Oku-Kuji egg (raw egg). The miso flavor was sweet with a hint of seafood taste. I ended up buying a rice ticket as well since the egg was complimentary. The ramen had medium-thick, delicious aged noodles. The flavor was quite rich, but I prefer miso ramen to be on the stronger side, so it was good for me. The soup had a rich, meaty broth that coated the noodles well. Ginger and garlic added accents to the dish, and the flavor changed as I ate. Adding miso made it slightly milder and sweeter. I finished by eating the rice with the miso flavoring. Although it wasn't Sapporo miso, it resembled Niigata-style miso ramen. It was delicious.

I visited this area around 10 pm after a drinking party because I wanted to have ramen as a finishing touch. I was happy to receive a raw egg service from Okukujitamago! It's great that you can enjoy the rich ramen even more by changing the taste with additional miso. The soup has a strong flavor and is recommended after a light drinking party. Also, the paper apron service is a nice touch!

Komagata Dozeu, the backside shop. I ordered the Aged Miso Ramen Special for ¥1450. It came with an impactful seaweed sheet, seasoned egg plus a free raw egg, thick-sliced roast chashu, and yuzu-infused lard for an extra touch, along with additional miso for flavor variation. I noticed there was a lack of vegetables. Perhaps this place is popular among young people with hearty appetites? It might be difficult for older individuals to finish the whole bowl.

On August 30, 2023 (Wednesday), after finishing work, I made a detour to visit this restaurant for the first time. This is a miso ramen specialty shop opened by a chef from the "Keisuke" group in April. I arrived at 6:46 pm, and the seating inside was about half full. I purchased a ticket for the "Aged Miso Ramen" and grabbed a raw egg by the entrance before taking a seat. In about 6 minutes, the ramen and extra miso arrived. The miso soup, with a murky brown color, had a hint of spiciness and a layer of black oil on top. The medium-thin noodles were topped with chashu, menma, sautéed bean sprouts and onions, lard, chopped green onions, grated ginger, and yuzu peel. When I tried the soup, it had a smooth and slightly sweet miso flavor along with a rich and flavorful broth. The aged miso flavor I expected based on the menu name was surprisingly light. There was also a lack of the typical spiciness associated with miso, allowing the pure miso flavor and umami to shine through. The broth, likely pork-based, played a supporting role without overpowering the other flavors. Mixing the soup revealed a hint of spiciness from chili pepper and the richness of lard from the sautéed vegetables. The noodles, cooked to a perfect firmness, lacked a strong wheat flavor but had a good chewiness. The chashu, made from fatty pork shoulder, was tender and flavorful, with a balance of meaty umami and fatty richness. The extra miso added a unique richness and flavor reminiscent of sake lees, enhancing the overall taste. When mixed into the soup, it added more depth and roundness without excessive saltiness. Overall, while the ramen had a unique and well-executed flavor, it lacked a strong impact or surprise factor. Miso ramen tends to focus on the miso flavor, making it challenging to stand out with creativity. If I have the chance to visit again, I would like to try their other signature dish, the "Aged Spicy Miso Ramen." Thank you for the meal.

The shop was offering free barley tea and one free locally sourced raw egg per person. They have a great service spirit. Ramen with aged miso: 1100 yen It's a pork bone miso ramen, with a strong red miso soup that's not too heavy but still satisfying. It has a good balance of flavors with the citrusy yuzu and ginger adding a nice touch to the miso. Adding the raw egg makes it milder in taste. The miso is made from soybeans cooked and steamed using a half-boiled, half-steamed method from a miso brewery established in Niigata in 1905. The toppings include ground meat, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, onions, and tender chashu pork. A sweet miso sauce was also provided on the side. The shop has only 6 counter seats and used to be a ramen shop called Manish and before that, it was called Menkoma. The owner trained at the Keisuke group.

Second visit. The first time I had spicy miso ramen with rice. It came with an egg, so I ended up eating it as egg over rice. Today, I tried the limited menu mixed noodles. They mentioned that a small portion of extra rice comes after the meal. You can choose whether or not to have garlic. It was delicious but quite heavy. I felt like I would forget about it normally.

During the height of summer, I visited a ramen shop. Arriving 10 minutes before opening, I was greeted by a staff member who offered me a cold tea while I waited. The interior of the shop was nice and cool, perfect for enjoying a bowl of miso ramen. Although I usually like spicy food, since it was my first visit, I decided to order the special "aged miso ramen". They even gave me a raw egg as a service, and I couldn't resist adding rice to my order. In less than 10 minutes, my bowl arrived. The soup was rich and flavorful, with a hint of garlic, and paired perfectly with the medium-thick curly noodles. The toppings were also very well thought out, and I enjoyed mixing the raw egg into the soup like a sukiyaki. They even had two types of ladles, one with holes and one without. It was fantastic. For dessert, I tried soup wari (diluting the soup with extra broth) for the first time with ramen. It had a nice kick of ginger and was incredibly delicious. I heard they also have a limited edition cold ramen, so I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Asakusa Jyukusei Miso Ramen Noriaki Bibi Aged miso ramen Jyukusei Miso Ramen ¥950 ★★☆ This restaurant opened in Asakusa in April. I had tried to visit before but found out it was closed due to filming on the day, so I had to sadly give up. This time, after a month, I got my revenge. I went with a friend from university, just like last time. We started with the classic aged miso ramen. I got a free raw egg next to the ticket machine. The soup was rich but light, and the curly medium-thick noodles were delicious. The side dish of "finishing miso" was also great! My friend and I, who used to frequent the original Keisuke during our student days, enjoyed our meal with a hint of nostalgia. It was delicious! Asakusa Aged Miso Ramen Noriaki・Mimi Aged Miso Ramen will open on April 18th. The owner, Keisuke, is a seasoned veteran with 17 years of experience in the MANNISH Asakusa group. Located in the former Akakujicho Akakujicho store, they offer a free Oku-Kuji raw egg. You can enjoy two different types of miso ramen at once, which is quite unique. The addition of ginger soup is also excellent. #Asakusa Aged Miso Ramen Noriaki・Mimi #Asakusa Gourmet

I felt like eating delicious miso ramen, so I visited the restaurant that I had bookmarked. I went alone at 7:55 PM on Saturday, and there were two other customers already there. This restaurant offers a complimentary fresh egg from Okukujio as a service, which was a pleasant surprise. They accept various payment methods including cash, credit card touch payments, and electronic money. I purchased meal tickets for "Aged Miso Ramen Special," "Large Rice," and a can of beer (350ml) for a total of 2050 yen. I paid using Rakuten Pay. The can of beer was simply handed over without a glass or any snacks, which was a bit disappointing. I drank it directly from the can. The table condiments included soy sauce, red pepper, vinegar, pepper, chili oil, and white sesame seeds. There was quite a variety. The ramen was served about 5 minutes after handing over the meal tickets. The large seaweed stuck in it was impressive. The white color is the back oil. Other toppings included chashu, minced chashu, ginger, yuzu, green onions, flavored egg, thick menma, stir-fried bean sprouts, onions, and ground pork. The soup, as mentioned by others, had a light and smooth flavor with a slight burnt taste probably from the stir-fried vegetables. The noodles were medium-thick and curly. The stir-fried bean sprouts, onions, and ground pork reminded me of Sapporo miso ramen. I enjoyed drinking the soup with a spoon and then using the same spoon to scoop up the rice, repeating this cycle a few times. The flavored egg was delicious, and I made tamago kake gohan (egg over rice) with the leftover rice, the complimentary fresh egg, and soy sauce from the table. It was delicious. I finished the ramen completely, it was a great meal.

On this day, I visited a bookmarked shop in Asakusa. The shop's name is Asakusa Aged Miso Ramen Noriaki-Mimi. It is located in Komagata 1, Taito-ku. I parked at a nearby coin parking and headed to the shop. First, I purchased a meal ticket from the vending machine. They offer miso ramen and spicy miso ramen, with options for toppings. This time, I chose the aged miso ramen with butter topping and rice. They also gave me a free raw egg from Okukujicho. The shop has about 10 seats at the counter and tables. I sat at the counter and waited for my order. When it arrived, I saw that the ramen had a rich broth with floating back fat. The butter topping was generous and looked delicious. The soup was not as rich as I expected, but it was easy to drink and had a good miso flavor. The owner also provided additional miso to enhance the richness, which I enjoyed. The butter added a nice mellow flavor. The curly medium-thick noodles had a nice chewy texture that paired well with the soup. The bean sprouts and other toppings were crunchy and tasty. The chashu pork, when soaked in the soup, was a great side dish with rice. I mixed the rice with the raw egg and soup to make a delicious porridge. I should have ordered a larger portion. I finished the meal quickly. It would have been nice to have garlic and other condiments on the table. Overall, it was a delicious and easy-to-eat miso ramen.

I wanted to eat delicious miso ramen for the first time in a while at a relatively new open timing, so I visited on a hot afternoon. There were about 6 people waiting when I arrived, but I was able to get in after about 15 minutes. The visual of the bowl looked delicious from the sign at the entrance. The price was a bit high, but the addition of rice, raw egg, extra miso for flavor variation, and the volume and satisfaction were excellent. It was cashless payment-friendly, which was nice. The ramen was so delicious that I highly recommend this restaurant!

I visited during lunchtime on a regular day. There was only one other customer. I ordered the Aged Miso Ramen for 950 yen. It arrived in less than 10 minutes. The miso soup with a hint of ginger was delicious and I couldn't stop eating... I should have ordered extra rice. There was yuzu at the bottom of the soup, which added a nice touch. I added a raw egg halfway through and it enhanced the miso flavor. There didn't seem to be an option for soup refills.

◆Store Information The store opened on April 18th. The owner has been a long-time member of the "Keisuke Group". The location is a 2-3 minute walk from Asakusa subway station. It used to be where the "Shio Ginger Ramen Specialty Shop Mannish" was located. ◆Customer Service and Atmosphere The store has 6 counter seats, and it seems like they are not using the table seats. The seats are a bit cramped, and you may occasionally bump elbows with the person next to you, which is a big downside. The bags placed on the floor are honestly in the way. There is one male staff member, who is the owner, and one assistant. There were no complaints about the customer service. ◆Ordering I purchased the "Aged Miso Ramen with Flavored Egg (1250 yen)" from the ticket vending machine. Other noodle options included Spicy Miso Ramen, and there was also a limited edition button. The service was very fast, and I didn't have to wait at all before my bowl arrived. As expected, the default option includes lard. The soup is less viscous than it looks. However, the rich flavor of the animal-based broth and the sweetness and flavor of the miso paste are pronounced. Moreover, the balance between the broth and miso paste is perfect, and the saltiness is just right. A unique aspect here is the "additional miso" that is served in a small dish. It seems to be a mixture of fish liver and miso, and when dissolved in the soup in the latter part of the meal, the seafood flavor intensifies, which is quite interesting. This is the first time I have encountered such an attempt at a miso specialty shop. The noodles are from "Mikawaya Seimen", with lightly curled, chewy, medium-thick noodles that have a hint of wheat flavor, and they match perfectly with the soup. As for the toppings... - The bamboo shoots are quite thick, making them a bit difficult to chew. - The flavored egg has a slightly firm yolk with just the right amount of saltiness. - The chashu is thick, large, and satisfying to eat, with no unpleasant smell and juicy and delicious. - The grated ginger also pairs well. On the table, there are condiments such as pepper, shichimi (seven spice), chili oil, and sesame seeds. ◆Overall Review A satisfying bowl of ramen. The noodles are good, the soup is good, and it's addictive. I think the attempt with the "additional miso" is interesting. It will likely become more popular in the future, and it might even be selected for the TRY Newcomer Award in the "Miso Division".

I used it for dinner this time. It is a new restaurant that has just opened. I was unsure what to order, but this time I ordered the Aged Miso Ramen Special. The restaurant was full and I had to wait. It is a shop where you buy meal tickets. Ordered item: Aged Miso Ramen Special - 1,350 yen *Aged Miso Ramen Special, set with miso for flavor change The Aged Miso Ramen Special is a ramen with a rich miso soup with pork fat. The noodles were medium thickness and had a good texture. The toppings included chashu, seasoned egg, vegetables, ground meat, seaweed, ginger, yuzu, and green onions. A separate dish of miso for flavor change was provided. The miso soup, which tends to be salty, had a delicious taste with just the right amount of saltiness. It may be good to use the miso for flavor change with the soup split provided on the counter to adjust the saltiness. The staff's customer service was also polite. The restaurant's business days and hours seem to be unstable, so I would appreciate it if any changes could be announced on the official Twitter, etc. It is a miso ramen shop near Asakusa Station.

This week, please be aware that the business days have changed! While taking a photo in front of the shop, the owner came out and I thanked them as always, which was nice! The business hours are from 11:30 am to 8 pm, but they mentioned that they will be preparing while open, so there is a possibility they may close early. I will visit again. Thank you very much for the explanations!

Today, work kept me busy as usual, making it a bit of a hectic day. I decided to head to Tahara-cho for dinner, only to find out that the popular restaurant I wanted to try had moved and was not open on Saturdays. So, I ended up going to a new restaurant in Komagata called "Asakusa Aged Miso Ramen Noriaki・Bibi." This new restaurant was opened in April 2023 by a former longtime employee of the famous "Keisuke" group. I used to enjoy visiting "Keisuke" group restaurants in the past, but had drifted away from them over time. However, I was intrigued by the idea of trying a restaurant opened by someone who had worked there for a long time, so I went to check it out. The restaurant is located in the former location of a now-closed restaurant called "Shio Shoga Ramen Specialty Shop Mannish Asakusa Store," on the first floor of a building with a sleek black exterior. When I arrived around 6:20 PM, there was a wait of about 10 people ahead of me. After waiting for about 40 minutes, I was finally seated inside. The interior was cozy, with counter seats and tables, although the tables were not being used at the time. I ordered the Aged Miso Ramen with flavored egg (1100 yen) at the ticket machine by the entrance. I also picked up a free-range Oku-Kuji egg that was provided as a service next to the ticket machine. The staff also brought me a bowl and an egg separator. After a few minutes of waiting, the Aged Miso Ramen with flavored egg arrived. The tall bowl with a narrow base and a rich miso soup topped with back fat looked very appealing. The hot and creamy soup had a strong umami flavor with a hint of sweetness, and the wavy noodles from Sanjo-ya were smooth and had a nice chew to them. The chashu was tender and flavorful, although it fell apart easily. The stir-fried vegetables added a nice crunch and aroma to the dish. The flavored egg was perfectly cooked, with a creamy yolk that enhanced the overall flavor. I also tried the grated ginger and yuzu peel that were provided on the side, which added a refreshing touch to the dish. Overall, the ramen was delicious, and I enjoyed every bite. The additional miso blend provided on the side enhanced the richness of the soup even further. I also ended up mixing the raw egg into the noodles, which added a creamy texture to the dish. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience at "Asakusa Aged Miso Ramen Noriaki・Bibi."

During the Golden Week period, I visited at 11:10 and there was a seat available for the aged miso ramen for ¥950. There were some reviews mentioning "sweet" and "viscous" qualities, which I usually don't like, but the photo looked so delicious that I decided to try it. The first bite was filled with the savory aroma of stir-fried vegetables. I didn't feel worried about the sweetness or viscosity. It was delicious. The chashu was braised pork, which is my favorite type. However, since it was miso ramen, I wished they had included garlic. They also served a free-range egg from Okukuj, but I wasn't hungry enough to add rice, and I don't like putting raw eggs in noodle dishes, so I plan to come back when I'm hungrier and enjoy it as "egg over rice" with the special soy sauce on the table. Also, I realized something ridiculous after the fact - even though this isn't a Jiro-style ramen, I always end up mixing it vigorously like a "tenchigaeshi" right after taking a photo of the ramen. It was completely unconscious. I love green onions, but I realized that by sprinkling finely chopped green onions like this, they clump together and lose their crispness, ruining the dish. I vowed to be more careful from now on.

Miso ramen specialty store. Probably opened around March or April 2023. They have two types of ramen, aged miso and aged spicy miso. This time, I ordered the spicy miso. The noodles are straight, but personally I prefer curly noodles for miso ramen. However, the taste is excellent. I ordered the spicy miso, but it wasn't very spicy. The flavor makes you want to keep eating bite after bite. The egg was perfectly runny and delicious.
