A big grilled salmon is served generously. Finally, I couldn't wait and dug in right away. The udon noodles made with brown rice flour make it guilt-free. The udon noodles are gluten-free. In June, I want to embrace a healthy diet in my daily life. With that in mind, I visited a new spot in Harajuku that opened as a fun, delicious, and healthy option - "Esoragoto Standing Brown Rice Udon." I purchased a meal ticket at the ticket machine. They had a limited quantity of the new "Grilled Salmon Soy Sauce Udon" that I had been curious about since it was introduced. There was also a menu item called "Spicy Pork Rice Bowl." They also serve alcohol. I handed in my meal ticket and received a number to wait for my order. The brown rice udon came with grilled salmon, sudachi (a type of citrus fruit), grated daikon radish, and seaweed. I added the soy sauce provided on the table and poured in the broth. The grilled salmon was cooked perfectly and paired well with the smooth texture of the udon noodles. I love spicy food, so I added some shichimi (seven-spice blend) from the table. The refreshing and smooth udon noodles are perfect for summer. Plus, they are healthy since they are made with brown rice flour. I also tried the tempura made with brown rice flour, and I am curious about the chicken tempura, so I will definitely visit again. They offer brown rice flour tempura flakes as a free topping, which was a nice touch. I went to a standing udon shop that had opened in the neighborhood and had been curious about for a while. I'm a beginner when it comes to udon, as I usually prefer soba. The udon here was thin but had a strong chewiness that I liked. The broth was not too strong, just right with a dashi base. The tempura was incredibly tender and flavorful. The casual standing style of dining was convenient and enjoyable! Family meal.

Every time I passed by, I was intrigued by the flashy appearance of this restaurant! I didn't realize it had turned into an udon shop! I was surprised to see that it was a stand-up udon shop when I went inside. I ordered the tempura and sudachi udon! The tempura was huge and delicious! It was quite refreshing and light, which was perfect for the hot weather. I had no idea it was gluten-free noodles until I saw other people's reviews! If that's the case, it changes the story! Anyway, I'm glad I came to this restaurant once! The fact that it was healthy and delicious was amazing! 😆💕

Brown rice udon! Summer limited Sudachi udon - with deep-fried eggplant and additional onsen tamago (soft-boiled egg) was super delicious(((o(*゚▽゚*)o))) I'm happy because I want to eat gluten-free. It's a standing-eating place, but the interior is stylish. Brown rice tea is all-you-can-drink self-service ← Soon the ticket machine will be cashless. I had a gluten-free healthy lunch with udon. The menu is rich, so I will definitely come back! This was an impromptu rap review ✌︎('ω')✌︎

Opened in June 23, the udon restaurant "Esukoto" offers gluten-free udon made with brown rice flour instead of wheat flour. Located in Harajuku, just beyond the Meiji Street from Harajuku Station, the restaurant is housed in the former location of "Nansukapansuka," maintaining the psychedelic art on its exterior. The development of the brown rice udon was a collaboration between the restaurant and "Dot Peace," a company founded by former rugby player Katsuyuki Kiyomiya in 2021, specializing in original brown rice flour. The "Half Tempura Chicken Udon" (cold) priced at 680 yen looks like traditional udon, but the texture is firmer with a solid and smooth feel. The use of 100% delicious brown rice "Akita Komachi" flour, ground to a fine powder of only 20 microns at -20 to -40 degrees Celsius, results in a unique flavor and texture that sets "Esukoto" apart from others.

It used to be "Nansukapansuka," but now it is called "Esoragoto Udon," specializing in standing-eating brown rice udon. The menu offers udon starting from 550 yen, and you can also take it out in a cute box. I tried the tempura udon for 850 yen, and it was delicious. The udon noodles were made from brown rice flour, giving them a unique texture. The atmosphere is open and welcoming, with a spacious seating area and a pink wall decorated with rice motifs. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the self-service system for drinks and condiments is convenient. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy healthy and delicious udon in a stylish setting.
