Arrived on Sunday after 10:00 with no wait. The first thing I noticed was the affordability. The bread looked delicious and was priced around 200-300 yen. For example, the pain au chocolat was 190 yen. Very good value for money. Despite the low prices, the quality of the food was evident from the appearance of the bread. I bought a baguette for 200 yen, a milk stick for 180 yen, and a sandwich for 400 yen which had shredded chicken breast mixed with mustard mayo, sliced cucumbers, and boiled eggs. A total of 780 yen including tax. As for the taste, the sandwich was made with slightly soft French bread that paired perfectly with the carefully chosen ingredients. It was easy to eat and delicious. The milk stick also had a rich milk cream spread on soft French bread, made with high-quality butter. The taste, price, atmosphere, and service were all wonderful. I envy the people who live nearby.

- A popular bakery offering about 150 varieties of bread made with 100% domestic wheat, always with lines. The café downstairs also has lines. - Cinnamon roll: Lemon-infused cheese cream on brioche dough with loads of cinnamon. Amazing. Definitely going back! - Establishment opened in 2002 by owners Daisuke Katane and Tomoko Katane. - Despite being quite far from the station, both the bakery and café are incredibly popular. You can taste the deliciousness.

A small bakery in Yoyogi Uehara, run by a former employee of "Donq", opened in 2002 with a focus on serving the local community. They also provide the bread used in the "Poached Egg & Toast" dish at the Blue Bottle Aoyama Cafe. The bakery opens at 7 am, but closes early at 4 pm on weekdays (changing to 3 pm from October). Located a 7-minute walk from Yoyogi Uehara Station East Exit, in a quiet residential area, this compact shop fills up with just 3 customers. With reasonable prices like 120 yen for a jam bread, it's a place you'll want to visit daily. Their "Pain au Chocolat" (210 yen) had a mild buttery flavor and could be enjoyed warm. The "Ciabatta" (150 yen) from Italy is moist and chewy, perfect for making sandwiches or pairing with olive oil or cream cheese.

The diet is over! Today is Saturday morning, and I went to a bakery nearby with my wife despite the rain. We waited in line for a bit, but it was worth it. I bought about 6 different sandwiches to go, including a Jambon Beurre. This sandwich was delicious! The bread was amazing, and it had just the right amount of butter, ham, and cucumber. I will definitely be visiting this bakery again!

Shop Name: Katanee Bakery Location: Yoyogi Uehara This was my second visit to this bakery, and I finally managed to make a purchase. The first time I came, the shop was undergoing renovation. Both times, I went by car and had a hard time finding the shop as it is located along a narrow road. After finally finding a coin parking, I walked to the shop. It was quite a struggle to visit, but once inside, I found a wide variety of bread at very affordable prices. I couldn't resist the tarts and sweets, so I ended up buying a cheese tart and a cinnamon roll. The cheese tart cost ¥250 and was made with two types of cream cheese. The baked cheese cake with a lemony cheese cream on top of brioche dough for ¥260 was absolutely delicious. I was surprised by the low prices - a cheese tart for ¥250 and a cinnamon roll for ¥260! Both the cheese tart and the cinnamon roll were incredibly tasty. I regret not buying more. It was worth the effort to visit this place.

Before having breakfast at the underground cafe, I stopped by to place an order. When I went back after eating, some items were already sold out within an hour, so placing an order was the right choice. I enjoyed the breakfast and decided to add a baguette that I really liked, so I purchased a variety of items. - Items purchased - Long-fermented French bread, Cinnamon roll, Tokachi red bean bun, Melon bread, Milk stick, Rustic bread (olive), Rustic bread (walnut), Chocolatine, English muffin (whole wheat). There were still many items that caught my interest, so I plan to visit again soon. Thank you for the delicious meal!

In search of delicious bread, I visited Katane Bakery in Yoyogiuehara for the first time. It is located a short walk from Yoyogiuehara Station, in a quiet residential area. The bakery has a café attached and seems quite popular. I purchased a curry bread and it was delicious! I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance.

Today, I visited Katané Bakery after the longer summer break. Around 11 o'clock, there were already 5 people lined up in front of the shop, and more people quickly joined the queue after I did. I purchased 6 items including butter French bread for ¥200, walnut ciabatta for ¥180, and focaccia for ¥200. The bread has a rich wheat flavor and both the hard bread and buttery ones are delicious. I love them both!

Katane Bakery has introduced a summer vacation system similar to that of students, and will be taking a long break of over a month starting from July 16th. The day before the break, on the 15th, there was a long line but I waited and made a bulk purchase. Country Bread (1/4) - ¥300 (tax included) The country bread with a tangy flavor was freshly baked. It had a fluffy texture and was delicious. Ham and Cheese Sandwich - ¥450 The salty ham paired with cheese and cucumber pickles worked really well together as the filling of the sandwich. A classic combination and my personal favorite of the day. Pumpkin Focaccia - ¥300 The pumpkin was naturally sweet without added sugar. The focaccia really brought out the deliciousness of the wheat bread itself. Croissant with Cheese - ¥170 A croissant with cheese. I love Katane's croissants, and adding cheese made it even more delicious. Meat Pie - ¥250 A crispy meat pie with plenty of meat filling. Brioche Mishka - ¥300 Seems to be limited to Saturdays. A sweet bread, but not too sweet. It felt like a cross between cake and bread, with the raisins doing a great job. Grape Bread (forgot to take a photo) The bread dough had a sweetness reminiscent of fruit liquor. Sugar was sprinkled on top with grapes inside. Simple but delicious. Second best of the day after the ham and cheese sandwich. They will be back after summer vacation on August 23rd. Thank you for the meal.

- Day/Time: Thursday/11:00 - Wait time: 15 minutes - Order: Croissant (190 yen), Hiyouko (170 yen), Pain au Chocolat (210 yen), Beignet (210 yen) - Access: 8-minute walk from Yoyogi Uehara Station - Payment: Cash only - Note: Popular bakery located between Yoyogi Uehara and Yoyogi Hachiman. Listed on Tabelog's Top 100. About 4 customers present before, but over 10 customers arrived later. Overall, prices are affordable. Hiyouko is a cream bun. The bread was surprisingly light and fluffy, with a rich and creamy filling making it delicious. The Pain au Chocolat and Croissant were also simple yet delicious.

I visited before 5 pm on a weekday. Even though the store closes at 5 pm, there were still a lot of bread varieties left and I couldn't decide, so I asked for recommendations. I was suggested to try the curry pan, croissant, and heyoko. They were delicious.

Visited Katane Bakery around 1 pm on a weekday in July 2023. Luckily, there was no line outside the small bakery known for its delicious and affordable bread. They offer a variety of bread, all neatly displayed. I purchased a croissant for $1.90, Noah fruit bread for $3.50, milk stick for $1.80, and focaccia for $2.00. The breads were small but had a simple and friendly taste.

The first floor is a bakery, and the basement is a cafe. Today's dish is chicken fritters. The large chicken breast is fried juicy with a nice flavor, and it goes well with the homemade mustard with a gentle acidity. The baguette is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, sweet enough to bite into. It's great that you can have free refills of butter and chicken toppings! Of course, after the meal, you can buy some bread to take home for dinner. Enjoy the fluffy focaccia, the refreshing lemon cream on the cinnamon roll, and the crispy and sweet but delicious puff pastry of the croissant. All of them are delicious and reasonably priced!

A popular bakery located between Yoyogi Uehara and Hatagaya. The shop has a glass front filled with delicious breads. After purchasing, you can enjoy them at Katane below the stairs. The "Yamagata-shaped bread" has a soft texture that becomes crispy when toasted. It's recommended to enjoy it with butter. The "Meringue sweets" have a light and crispy texture even when eaten the next day. It's a bakery that makes you want to visit every day.

Yoyogi-Uehara Station is a 7-minute walk away, and the streets are complex and hard to navigate. This restaurant is located near the trendy Shio Restaurant. There are also famous restaurants like ete that are well-known on Tabelog, making the location ideal. If you walk to the bakery, the entrance appears small, making you wonder if this is the right place as you enter nervously. The bread in the glass case all looks delicious, making it hard to choose. When you eat it, the dough of the bread is chewy and tasty overall. I ordered Milk France, Kinako Donut, and my favorite Croque Monsieur. If you buy bread here and order a drink, you can enjoy a morning set at the sister cafe downstairs. It opens at 7:30 am and has a lovely, fairytale-like atmosphere. It seems perfect for morning bread activities - I would want to go here every day if there was a cafe like this nearby! Although it's a bit far from the station, I definitely want to go again!

I came to Yoyogi Park Station to eat curry, and decided to search for bread as well. This place seemed to be the best option. While walking to the shop, I felt like the turnover of shops in the area is quite high. It was a hot day, but I finally made it to the shop without melting. There were about 10 people waiting outside, but I was able to enter quickly. Inside, a woman in front of me was taking her time to choose, so I waited behind her. Suddenly, the person behind me was asked to order before me, even though I hadn't made my choice yet, so I hurried to decide. I ordered a panini, a baguette, a rustic bread, and a cinnamon roll. The panini seemed to be grilled after ordering, so I had to wait outside with my order. When I got home, I tried the baguette and rustic bread, which were slightly moist and delicious. The high-hydration quality of the bread was evident, and I loved it. The panini, with ham and cheese, had a soft texture and satisfied my craving for the ones I missed having during my trip to Italy. The cinnamon roll with cream cheese on top was visually appealing, but not exactly to my liking. Overall, the quality of the food was high and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

⭐️Food Log Bread 100 Famous Stores June 23, 1:30 PM - We were the third group to visit, but we only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated. Most of the items were still available. - Croissant (190 yen) ⭐️: We encountered a croissant that gave us a good value for the price. The crispy texture is worth trying at least once. - Ciabatta (150 yen) ⭐️: A unique menu item with a soft and moist texture. It was described as a hard type, but it didn't feel too strong. The staff recommended it, and it was the right choice. - Chocolate France (150 yen) ⭑: A baguette with a slightly bitter chocolate cream filling. It didn't stand out for its freshness, but maybe that's a good thing? - Noisettes (280 yen) ⭑: A lychee tech? with walnuts and raisins. It has a firm texture and ample ingredients, making it satisfying to eat. It may seem a bit expensive, but it might be due to the lack of other options in this price range at competing stores. It exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely go back for the croissant and ciabatta. If given the chance, we would like to try other menu items as well.

Cuscute was excellent. The combination of ham and bread made the flavors even more deep and enjoyable. I wanted to keep eating it non-stop! On the way back in the car, we hit traffic, so my spouse and I split it half and half. It wasn't enough! I regretted not buying more immediately. Of course, I also made sure to buy croissants! They are truly delicious.

There is always a fashionable, delicious, and affordable bakery with long queues. Some people even come from far away to visit. Despite being far from the station, it is always popular. During summer vacation, all the staff take a long break for training, which is a bit disappointing. However, it seems to make the bread taste even better. The cheesecake and other pastries are also very delicious.

✔️The terrace seating allows for food and drinks. They offer a variety of breads, such as food bread, melon bread, croissants, and pain au chocolat. You can order sandwiches and paninis freshly made. When I visited on a weekend at 2 PM, the selection was limited to 7-8 types of bread and paninis. The prices range from 200-300 yen, which is quite reasonable. They also have blue cheese available. The wait was around 15 minutes with a line of about 10 people. I tried the panini with prosciutto, which had a chewy texture similar to mochi or shiratama. It was quite big, around 30 cm long, and you can choose from ham, prosciutto, or meat fillings. The prosciutto was thin and slightly sweet, while the meat sauce version had a tomato sauce that was almost like meatballs without meat.
