I wanted to eat Gâteau à la Crème, so I visited the shop. Before my visit, my mentor gave me some sable cookies, and I was instantly hooked by their crunchy texture. When I arrived on a weekday evening, there were only two cakes left. I decided to take home the sable cookies, Gâteau au Beurre, and Gâteau à la Crème. The Gâteau à la Crème had a rich buttercream that seemed heavy, but surprisingly light and easy to eat. I couldn't stop eating it, and it left me wanting more. I'm curious to try other Gâteau à la Crème flavors, so I'll definitely be back.

I had never noticed this place before. I discovered it by chance when I passed by. It's a sweets shop that focuses on a specific type of sweets. They have classic macarons and basic-looking desserts. On this day, I took out a Gâteau à la crème au beurre and a Gâteau noisettes. The taste matched the classic and basic appearance. It was a straightforward flavor.

The event was bustling with people, so I decided to purchase something. I bought the most popular item, Gâteau au Crème for 583 yen. It was a bit small so it seemed a bit pricey, but it was my first time trying a butter cake. I could taste the butter flavor well, and it was easier to eat than I expected. It wasn't too rich, in fact, it was quite light and had a simple taste. I ended up finishing it in one go. It was a decently delicious butter cake. Thank you for the meal~

Denenchofu's Western confectionery shop. The stylish store offers only 5-6 types of products. I was worried if this business could survive with such a limited selection, but it seems unnecessary. They had buttercream cakes in plain, vanilla, and chocolate flavors. They also had butter cake and shortbread. I wanted to try the buttercream cake, so I decided to start with the chocolate flavor. It was just the right richness and not too heavy, very delicious. I also want to try the butter cake. Amount spent: 572 yen Rating: 3 points 5 points: Definitely want to revisit! 4 points: Would like to revisit if I have the chance! 3 points: Would consider revisiting. 2 points: Once is enough. 1 point: No need to go.

I visited this place early after it opened but forgot to post about it. Walking in the opposite direction of the famous rotary exit at Denenchofu Station, you will come across a simple grey boutique-like shop. The cakes displayed neatly are beautiful. The Gâteau à la Crème au Beurre looks simple but the buttercream is rich yet refreshing, melting in your mouth smoothly. The génoise sponge has a nice texture, not too fluffy. The Gâteau au Beurre is a pound cake with butter soaked in well, offering a rich yet moist and not overwhelming taste. I prefer the light finish over the heavy feel of old-fashioned cakes.

There is a butter cake specialty shop near Denenchofu Station. The stylish appearance of the store attracted me to visit. I don't think I have eaten butter cake much before. I purchased vanilla, mocha, and seasonal limited edition chestnut flavors this time. The cakes look simple. When I tried them, they had a simple taste. Of course, the butter flavor is strong. Personally, I liked the chestnut flavor the best. The mocha flavor... I couldn't really taste the coffee, so I wasn't sure what I was eating. Thank you for the meal.

I felt like having buttercream cake after a long time, so I went to a place near the station, just a 2-minute walk away. It was on the first floor of a white building on the corner, with the word "open" subtly displayed. There were customers inside, so I confirmed that it was open. The shop had a stylish appearance, and if there were no customers, I might have hesitated to enter. The interior was also stylish, with a simple white theme. The showcase was cool, with silver boxes containing products on top of ice packs, covered with a glass lid. This time, I bought mocha and vanilla for myself. The mocha had a coffee bitterness coming through the sponge, followed by a rich coffee-flavored buttercream. The vanilla had visible vanilla beans and a smooth sponge and cream that melted in the mouth, with a rich buttercream and vanilla taste. The shop had a stylish atmosphere, but the staff were friendly and provided good customer service.

I listened to Mr. Hirano's "Flavorful Secondary Audio" and decided to visit Denenchofu for the first time at the age of 36, despite living near the Toyoko Line for a long time. It was too hot, so I left soon after arriving. The shop is known for its butter cake, which has a perfectly refined taste. It's the kind of product that could become a memory of someone's favorite dessert. The concept of the shop is well understood through the quality of their products. It's about a 3-minute walk from the station, so it's easily accessible for Toyoko Line and Meguro Line users. They also sell their butter cake online, so it's a good option for those who can eat a lot.

Located just a 3-minute walk from Denenchofu Station, this shop has no sign and features a simple, color-themed interior visible through the glass. It used to be an apparel store. I was advised by the staff to refrigerate the Gâteau à la Crème thoroughly before eating. I followed their advice and chilled it in my home refrigerator. The rich buttercream melts quickly, so it's best enjoyed cold. The intense buttercream is delicious, especially when paired with coffee. Personally, I found the Mocha flavor to be particularly tasty.

A pack of 5 sablés costs ¥330. They are thin but have a rich flavor, satisfying even with just one piece. They go well with strong black tea. The Juane cake with buttercream costs ¥550 and is topped with seasonal fruit, such as passion fruit. The rich buttercream with the tartness of passion fruit makes for a great combination. Prices exclude tax.

While having my coffee beans roasted at a coffee shop in Okusawa, I plan to indulge in some sweets here (*^^*)ゞ Taking another look around the shop, I see glass windows, wooden tables, white walls, and a concrete floor. It's a unique design indeed (●︎´▽︎`●︎) There aren't many options, but the carefully selected items are made with great care. I choose the "Gateau au Beurre, ¥345," which is basically a butter cake with salted melted butter brushed on top. Yum~(^ω^)♪ It has a soft texture and smooth melting in the mouth. There's no heaviness. The saltiness of the butter on top enhances the simple sweetness of the cake. Overall, it has a rustic charm with a touch of elegance.

Opened on October 10, 2020! A white, sign-less shop. What kind of shop is it? [SAVEUR Savour] @ Denenchofu - A western confectionery shop created by the apparel brand "YAECA". That's why the exterior and interior are so stylish! They sell simple sweets like butter cakes and cookies. (They also have Christine Ferber's jams. So classy!) - Gâteau au Beurre 320 yen - Gâteau au Crème Rum 480 yen - Gâteau au Crème Vanilla 530 yen - Gâteau au Crème Mocha 480 yen - Macaron 230 yen - Sablé 300 yen I tried all the products, and they are delicious as expected. Having three types of butter cakes is awesome, and it really boosts my mood! It seems perfect for gifts! It's a shop that you can brag about if you know about it!

Blog "Tokyu Line, Food Walking" https://asante.blog/ - The shop that was introduced in the Tokyu series town magazine SALUS was sold out around 2 PM last time, probably because it was introduced right after. This time, I visited around 1 PM on the weekend, and although customers kept coming in, there were still cakes available. I entered the shop and waited in line. The white-based interior gave a unique atmosphere. When it was my turn, I ordered Gâteau à la crème Rhum for 480 yen, Boulé Salé for 320 yen, and 5 pieces of Sablé for 300 yen, excluding tax. I brought them home and enjoyed them with tea. Boulé was a simple chiffon cake with a unique touch of salt. The salt added a watermelon-like effect, making the sweetness stand out. The Rum cake had a good amount of butter without being overwhelming. It was a cake where you could feel the quality of the ingredients. The Sablé had a simple taste as well. Overall, the cakes were made with good ingredients and care. They had a simple and comforting flavor. Thank you for the meal.

Savuer, featured in fashion magazines' gourmet sections and affiliated magazines, is known for its stylish interior and exterior design, as expected from an apparel company. I tried their cakes and macarons, and they were delicious. Just like the restaurants managed by Journal Standard, the food here meets a certain standard of taste. However, whether it's worth going all the way to Denenchofu for it is debatable. Nevertheless, this place offers a chic atmosphere and the experience of purchasing from here adds to the taste. The prices are not too high, and even though I'm not a fan of buttercream, those who like Echire butter may enjoy it here.

Facing Denenchofu Station, going down the hill and reaching the corner, there is a Western confectionery shop. It used to be a building of unknown origin, with a glass exterior and minimal decoration. I had a Buttercream dessert for 514 yen. The receipt said "Rum Cut." The Buttercream had a firm texture and a rich yet not overwhelming taste, likely made with high-quality butter. I could also faintly taste the rum flavor. Personally, I would have liked a stronger rum taste. I also had a pack of Sablé (5 pieces) for 324 yen. There is also an 8-piece option. The Sablé had a crispy and crumbly texture, with a rich sweetness from almond powder. Simple yet delicious. Overall rating: 3.9 stars.

I like this simple shop with a focused selection of items. I got the Gâteau à la Crème to go last time, but it was sold out. This time, I got the one with rum, and it was delicious. The buttercream melted elegantly in my mouth without being too heavy. The cookies were also tasty.

Popular shop "Gâteau à la Crème" ★ Vanilla only, visibly vanilla with vanilla beans in the cream ★ Maple delicious taste ★ Rum as others have mentioned, tastes like rum raisin ★ Simple with only 2 types of cakes, buttercream is not my favorite but this one I can eat. Light! Be careful not to eat too much.

Opened in October 2020 in Denenchofu, this Western confectionery shop is run by the apparel brand "YAECA", aiming for simplicity and high quality in their sweets. Located just down the hill from the east exit of the station, it's in a good spot with two delicious patisseries a little further down the road. The exterior and interior are sleek and minimalistic, with a strong focus on quality. The wooden counter displays only the snacks in glass cases. Despite it being 2:00 PM on a Sunday, almost everything was sold out except for the Salt Gâteau au Beurre, which I managed to get. It may not look very fancy, but the simple and rustic appearance is charming. The Gâteau au Beurre with Salt (¥320) and the Macaron (¥230) were purchased. The simple butter cake made with plenty of eggs had a slightly salty coating on the surface, giving it a moist and fluffy texture. The buttery aroma was irresistible, and I quickly finished my slice. The Macaron, a vanilla bean-rich cookie, had a firm sweetness and a sticky texture. The rich vanilla flavor indicated the use of high-quality ingredients. However, at ¥230 per piece, I found it a bit expensive, and the texture wasn't to my liking. I prefer the Macarons from Tatsuya Sasaki in Asagaya, which have a more delicate texture like the skin of a dacquoise. Although I'm not a fan of buttercream, I might give their buttercream cake a try as it seems to offer a refined twist on the traditional treat.

I visited Savour, a newly opened shop just a short walk from Denenchofu Station. The interior is simple and minimalistic. They had only Gâteau à la Crème (butter cake) in rum and vanilla flavors available, along with jams from the Alsace region. I purchased the Gâteau à la Crème in rum for 480 yen + tax and in vanilla for 530 yen + tax. Upon opening the box, a wonderful buttery aroma filled the air. The buttercream seemed to be generously used. While it appeared slightly firm at first, it melted in the mouth, spreading a rich buttery flavor. Despite the abundance of cream, it was not overly heavy. The sponge was soft, and the overall mouthfeel was delightful. Currently rated at 3.02, it seems likely to receive a higher score this year as well.

A new sweets shop has opened within a 5-minute walk from Denenchofu Station. The area seems to be a competitive one, with not many stores open on holidays.
- Gâteau à la Crème (Vanilla, 530 yen): This cake had a buttercream coating with a smooth texture and a pleasant buttery aroma. The vanilla flavor was gentle yet had a subtle hint of spiciness.
- Gâteau à la Crème (Rum, 480 yen): This cake had a taste similar to a butter sandwich. When I visited around 4:30 PM on a holiday, the store seemed to have limited stock. The interior of the store had a luxurious feel with plenty of space. There was also a mocha flavor available, but I'm not sure if they had other menu items that day. It might be worth visiting a few more times to investigate further.
