A must-visit restaurant in the competitive area of Nakano, where you'll want to come back again. Firstly, the friendly manager is excellent. Next, they offer a variety of cost-effective dishes! The dotekushi and kushikatsu with miso sauce are outstanding. They also have a good selection of sake, and the manager will recommend one while chatting with you. This time, I tried the Fukuoka's Tonbo. It's a perfect summer sake! It was delicious. This is a great place for both a pre-drinks gathering or a final stop of the night.

The standing bar that opened after Yakisoba Mikasa is completely terrible. No plans to revisit. Even though it's a standing bar, they charge 200 yen + consumption tax for otoshi (appetizer), what are they thinking? The kushikatsu (skewers) and dotemaki are completely inferior compared to Nonkiya. The 200 yen otoshi really affects the total bill and there is no sense of value at all. It's a failure as a standing bar. Thank you for the meal.

In Nakano, there are several standing bars, but this one is relatively new? I visited for the first time. The interior is small but clean and cozy. I was happy to see a Maruei poster near the entrance! The snacks were boiled eggs with doteni and kushikatsu, not as rich in flavor as they look, which was good. I had black nama and added Hoppy, and I was in a great mood! Thank you for the meal!

Today we visited Dotemon in Nakano. We started with their specialty Dotemeshi balls, which were delicious. We also had various side dishes like Kobukuro sashimi, tofu, Dotekushi skewers, horse mackerel namero, and meatballs. Everything was very tasty, especially with lots of green chili peppers. The Kobukuro sashimi was fresh and the meatballs were delicious, made with a recipe from a Michelin-star chef. Thank you for the delicious meal. We will definitely be back!

I used it for a daytime drink in Nakano. It seems to be the same parent company as the neighboring Kamakura Store. Basically, it's run by one staff member. The namerou and simmered skewers were delicious. It's a standing bar, but the interior is clean and comfortable. The toilet system is borrowed from the neighboring store. Perfect for drinking alone.

I have a favorite shop in Nakano♪ I was planning to go to the second shop, so I visited this standing bar for the first time! There were three customers already. I received a warm towel. I ordered a highball for now. For food, I asked for dote skewers, abura skewers, and kushikatsu. They were all thin. I also had a green tea highball and a simmered egg. The bill was around 1500 yen including the stem wakame appetizer. As I was leaving, the manager or owner gave me a polite send-off. I struggled with the stem wakame stuck in my teeth on my way to the second shop (^ . ^)

On a Sunday afternoon, I strolled north on the Nakano Station North Exit Fureai Road. I saw a new restaurant that I had never seen before. "Oh, a standing bar! A beer with some grilled meat skewers sounds good!" Without hesitation, I entered. First, I ordered a refreshing draft beer to start. Cheers! I ordered two grilled meat skewers and one skewer of deep-fried pork cutlet. I also ordered a side dish of seaweed salad with mayonnaise. The grilled meat skewers arrived first, with a thick chocolate-colored sauce on top. I washed down the rich flavors with a long sip of beer, and then ordered a "deep-fried pork ball" as a refill, which had a hint of citrus flavor. The skewer of deep-fried pork cutlet also came with sauce. The meat was a bit firm but had a good balance of oiliness, making it easy to eat. The side dish of seaweed salad was 200 yen, which was a bit pricey, but the grilled meat skewers and deep-fried pork cutlet skewers for 99 yen each were a good deal. Thank you for the meal. Doteemon is a slightly refreshing standing bar!

It's been a while since I last visited Nakano. I'm feeling hungry. There have been several changes in the shops during the few months I haven't been here. One of them is that Yakisoba Mikasa has become Dotemon! It seems to be affiliated with this izakaya next door. Let's stop by.
- Maruef 450: Maruef is still delicious. I've been drinking Maruef at home recently.
- Appetizer: Stem seaweed
- Dotemon Ball 390: A dish that goes well with the main dotemon of this shop. It's refreshing and easy to drink.
- Dotemon skewer 99
- Kushi katsu 99
- Horse mackerel namero 430
- Spicy macaroni salad 350
- Today's fresh fish 480: It was supposed to be amberjack today, but it was sold out.
- Green juice matcha highball 350
- East Sports fried chicken 390
The food is quite ordinary. To use the restroom, you have to borrow the restroom at the izakaya next door, so you wear a name tag around your neck when you go. It's a standing bar, so it seems like a place you could use when you want to have a quick drink. Thank you for the meal! (*´▽`*)

I came to Nakano after a long time, maybe over 10 years. After finishing some work, I decided to have lunch and drink in the afternoon, and after exploring for about 5 minutes, I found this place, "Doteemon." I love Haccho Miso, so I decided to try it as soon as I found it. I ordered dote skewers for 99 yen (excluding tax) and skewered cutlets for 99 yen (excluding tax) as the main dishes, and also ordered dote rice. Personally, I prefer a richer flavor, but this place serves a lighter, more casual style. *There is a 200 yen cover charge.

Opened in 2023, this new restaurant in Nagoya specializes in doteyaki skewers and offers a variety of skewers and drinks that pair well together. It is a standing bar with limited seating, not suitable for large groups, but they offer unique drinks like pepper highballs and ginger highballs. Each dish is well seasoned, affordable, and delicious, making it a great place for a solo drink and snack. Their dumplings are fluffy and delightful, making it hard to stop eating. The prices are reasonable, so you won't break the bank even if you eat heartily. Overall, it's a place with a good heart.

I suddenly discovered a restaurant on SNS that I had been interested in, and visited it on a Saturday afternoon with a drinking buddy! The place is a new standing bar near JR Nakano Station North Exit, about a 2-minute walk away, with a lineup centered around Nagoya's specialty doteni. And the skewers are only 99 yen, incredibly cheap! The interior has about 10 standing counter seats, and even though it was a Saturday afternoon, it was almost full halfway through! We started with a Half & Half toast with Asahi beer, a way of drinking Half & Half that is still rare in Tokyo, so it was a delight to be able to drink it in Tokyo. The appetizer was seasoned stem seaweed, which was really good! We chose the famous doteni series! Doteni skewer for 99 yen, skewer cutlet for 99 yen, abura skewer for 130 yen, simmered egg for 100 yen, and meat tofu for 430 yen. The taste that brings back nostalgic memories of Nagoya! Goes perfectly with beer! Or rather, the cost performance is amazing! Today, we focused on beer, sticking to Super DRY bottles... Next up... Earl's meatballs for 480 yen, Tokyo Sports fried chicken for 390 yen. The meatballs are finished with black vinegar, so tender that you can't even hold them with chopsticks. Fluffy and delicious! Tokyo Sports fried chicken? The origin of the name is something you have to ask at the restaurant, but it's not just fried chicken, it's also delicious. Finally, we had dotemeshi. When you think of Nagoya specialties, this is the perfect way to finish! Topped with a big egg yolk, dotemeshi brings back memories of childhood. The food is all under 600 yen, making it a super cost-effective standing bar. I want to come back here again! Thank you for the delicious meal!

I visited Doteemon in Nakano Kitaguchi! I heard about the opening of this standing bar izakaya and decided to come check it out! Nakano! Their specialty is the Nagoya-style Dote-ni with miso base, and it's really delicious with great value! You can also enjoy day drinking on weekends and holidays! So, I went for a day drink ❤️ Cheers with a half & half. The appetizer was stem seaweed! They offer reasonably priced sake starting from 499 yen (excluding tax)~ I'm definitely going to drink whenever I find it. Now, let's enjoy the Dote dishes! They go really well with beer ☺️ Not too rich, just the right balance. The simmered egg is so flavorful! It's irresistible. The fatty skewers are so juicy and go well with drinks... Guilty pleasure, but it's so delicious. I tried Mitsui-san's sake (sorry, I forgot the name) for the first time ☺️ It's limited edition, so get it while you can! The meatballs supervised by a Michelin chef are tender and delicate, you have to be careful when picking them up with chopsticks or they might fall apart. The black vinegar sauce is elegant and refined! Enjoy it with sake. Finally, the Dote Meshi... A must-order. The egg yolk looks amazing, but the real star is the rice soaked in Dote sauce, it's so delicious that I could eat it forever. Here's what I had: Dote skewer (99 yen), skewered cutlet (99 yen), fatty skewer (130 yen), simmered egg (100 yen), meat tofu (430 yen), Michelin chef's Count's meatballs (480 yen), To-spo fried chicken (480 yen), Dote Meshi (380 yen). I'm happy to have found such a wonderful restaurant and I can't wait to come back. Thank you for the delicious meal~

On weekends, there is a standing bar open from 12pm. I decided to have a light lunch drink and found that the bottled beer was a bit expensive at 630 yen + tax. So, I opted for the cheapest option, a lemon sour for 290 yen + tax. I also ordered the specialty dish of this place, which was a skewer of various items simmered in a unique broth called "dote", along with a boiled egg and skewered pork cutlet. The skewered pork cutlet was soaked in the same broth as the dote skewer, so the flavors were quite similar. The meal also came with a complimentary dish of vinegared seaweed to refresh the palate. I ended the meal with a highball. When I paid the bill, I was surprised to find that there was an additional charge for the complimentary dish, which was not mentioned on the menu. If this becomes a common practice, we might soon see standing bars charging a service fee of 10%.

I visited a standing bar in Nakano that just opened last month, serving Nagoya-style doteyaki. I used to enjoy drinking early on Sundays at a doteyaki place near Ozone Station in Nagoya, where the doteyaki was quite light. I prefer a stronger sweet and salty taste of red miso and the sweetness of coarse sugar, but the authentic taste may not always be well-received. However, they offer various other dishes besides doteyaki, so it could be a nice quick stop for a pub crawl if it's not too crowded.

A new standing bar has opened on Nakano Fureai Road, specializing in doteyaki. Instead of the typical Osaka-style doteyaki, they use an original Nagoya-style miso base. They offer doteyaki skewers and kushikatsu for only 99 yen each, making it a great option for enjoying with beer, highball, or sake. Their Ponzu Sour is a refreshing twist on lemon sour, while their Yagen Soft Bone Black Pepper Stir-Fry is flavorful and goes well with drinks. The Mitsui no Kotobuki sake is popular thanks to its refreshing yet savory taste. The Assorted Delicacies Plate, featuring umesuisho, salted mackerel with koji, and salted cod roe cream cheese, is a perfect accompaniment to sake at only 590 yen. This place is perfect for a quick stop and a great addition to the area.

This is a newly opened standing-style bar. It has been arranged with a less sweet taste similar to Kanto region style, and it was delicious!
