I used the course at night. The assorted horse sashimi was high quality and delicious, but the other menu items and drinks were average or slightly below, which brought down the overall experience. It may be because it's not oyster season. The staff were friendly.

It was delicious in a normal way! The staff at the restaurant were also very good. However, compared to horse sashimi restaurants in Fukuoka or Kumamoto, the depth of flavor of the horse meat is completely different, and the ginger and garlic in tubes were not good at all! The soy sauce for horse sashimi was too sweet. At least, using fresh ginger and garlic would make it taste much better. It's a common pattern in Tokyo.

I used this place for drinking in Asakusabashi. I wanted to eat plenty of horse sashimi, so I entered the restaurant. I ordered a draft beer and a highball, and some snacks. I wanted to enjoy horse meat, so I ordered a sashimi platter with only lean meat called "Sakurairo Zanmai" and "Sakura Yukke". Just like with beef, pork, and chicken, you can enjoy different variations of horse meat. The appearance may lack vibrancy, but it might be a good place to slowly savor horse meat. It had been a while since I last went. Hmm... it's not bad, but it's not great either. I remember it being more delicious before! Maybe my taste buds have become more refined? Haha. I think there used to be all-you-can-drink options a few years ago, but not anymore, so it doesn't seem as cost-effective. I don't know, I just have this vague feeling of dissatisfaction. In the end, it's not bad, but it's not really good either.

Oh! I stumbled upon a horse meat specialty store and immediately went in. The first dish that arrived was the seared horse meat nigiri, which was seared with a burner and had a nice melt-in-your-mouth texture. Next, the complimentary dish of cold amberjack sashimi was only ¥100 and delicious! The ponzu sauce was smooth like shirako and also tasty. The red and white two types of horse meat sashimi platter had lean meat and mane meat, paired with sweet soy sauce and grated garlic and ginger, which made it delicious. All the dishes were light and healthy with little fat. I would like to try the hot pot or teppanyaki next time.

A izakaya in Asakusabashi. I felt like eating horse meat after a long time, so I decided to go in! Started with "horse meat sushi" as an appetizer, then had a "5 kinds platter" which included mane and chest meat. After that, I had "rare cutlet" and indulged in horse meat. Everything was tender and delicious, especially the mane in the platter, which was great for someone who likes fatty meat like me. In the meantime, I also ordered "bonito sashimi" and "asparagus ohitashi", both were delicious and the bonito sashimi was quite a deal at ¥100! By the way, the bonito sashimi is limited to one per group. Perhaps the ¥100 dishes are daily specials. When you ask for the bill, they also serve miso soup as a nice service! It was a great decision to come in.

I made a reservation for a course menu at a horse meat restaurant based on the menu listed on the food review website, but when the dishes arrived, they were completely different from what was advertised. Instead of the horse meat dishes I was looking forward to, I received crab sticks with cucumber, horse meat sashimi, shrimp grilled with salt (forgot to take a photo), fried small shrimp and cheese spring rolls, meat sushi with salad wrap, and fried horse meat. The hot pot and horse meat steak were nowhere to be found. I was disappointed that the restaurant changed the menu without informing me, especially since I came specifically for the horse meat dishes. The hot pot was unnecessary, and it was left to cool on the table while we were eating the sashimi, making it unappetizing. The quality of the horse meat sashimi was also not up to par, with the meat being thin and not as fresh as before. It seems like there may have been a change in staff, as the service was different from my previous visits. This used to be my favorite restaurant to enjoy horse meat with friends and family, but now I am sad and disappointed. I hope the restaurant can return to its previous quality, but for now, I don't plan on returning anytime soon.

I have relied on this place so many times... My first experience with horse meat was here, and I have since become a fan of horse sashimi, visiting quite a few horse meat specialty shops. However, I have not found a place that surpasses this one where I first tried it... I have given up on searching for new shops (bitter smile) and decided that if I want to eat horse sashimi, I will come to this place. The meat quality is so good that if you order a cooked dish, it might be better to just stick to the horse sashimi platter (bitter smile). The yukhoe (Korean-style beef tartare) and liver sashimi are also excellent. For those who love horse meat, I think it's worth taking the train to visit this place at least once. Once you visit this place, you won't be able to eat horse meat at other places, so be prepared for that...

Near Asakusabashi, there is a restaurant called "Yotsuya" where you can enjoy horse meat dishes. They offer a variety of drinks including draft beer and Dassai sake from Yamaguchi. I tried horse meat sushi and a platter of horse sashimi, learning about different cuts of meat along the way. I couldn't remember which part was which, but it was all delicious. The horse meat yukhoe (Korean-style beef tartare) and fried rice were especially tasty. This is a great restaurant in Tokyo where you can enjoy delicious horse meat dishes.

It's difficult to drink on weekdays, so I came here on weekends after 3 o'clock. This is a restaurant where you can eat horse sashimi. Horse sashimi is usually more common in the eastern part of Tokyo, I think. Last time, I went to Asakusa. I ordered a plate of horse sashimi, horse bacon salad, sausages, and teppanyaki. The appetizer was sushi, which was seared and delicious. We chatted a lot over beers and chu-hi. We ended up staying until closing time, with only one other group of customers in the restaurant. I hope things will settle down soon. The horse sashimi was delicious, and the teppanyaki, cooked to perfection, was incredibly tender. Thank you for the meal.

I want to eat yukhoe! So I went to a horse meat specialty izakaya near Asakusabashi Station. They offer dishes like cherry blossom yukhoe, assorted horse sashimi, and cherry blossom sausages. Everything was delicious. The lemon sour drinks were refillable for half price, which was a great deal. The food was excellent, but the only downside was that the cigarette smoke was overwhelming, making it tough for non-smokers. I hope they improve the ventilation. Thank you!

The shop is located just outside the JR Asakusabashi station ticket gate. Inside the shop, there are counter seats and table seats. I ordered a draft beer, a plate of two kinds of horse sashimi (lean meat and fatty meat), and sweet potato tempura. The horse sashimi plate comes with wasabi, ginger, and red miso as condiments. The horse sashimi was tender, fresh, with a good texture, and delicious. There are different types of soy sauce available at the counter, such as dashi soy sauce and Kyushu soy sauce, each offering a unique flavor. The sweet potato tempura was thick, hot, and paired well with alcohol. I also ordered a glass of Sato barley shochu on the rocks and bonito sashimi as an additional order. The bonito sashimi was thick, fresh, and had a firm texture, absolutely delicious. The Sato sweet potato shochu had a refreshing taste that paired well with the horse sashimi. I also added a glass of Mogura sweet potato shochu on the rocks. It had a strong sweet potato flavor and a solid taste. I didn't notice at first, but there was sliced garlic on the bonito sashimi, which tasted amazing when dipped in Kyushu soy sauce. It was a long time since I had such delicious horse sashimi and bonito sashimi. Finally, I drank a soup with horse meat broth before leaving.
