The meat is delicious when it is expensive. Overall, the prices seem high. The seating is in a raised area with sunken kotatsu-style round tables. It may be good for a large group. It feels a bit awkward for two people. There are many foreign employees. Be careful as the taste may be different when ordering normally. It cost around 20,000 yen for two people.

I had a course meal. The chorogi salad was delicious. All the meats were tasty, especially the loin. The wagyu sushi was also delicious. I forgot to take a picture before cooking the sukiyaki, so I enjoyed it with the egg yolk sauce afterwards. It was also delicious. I had the beef tendon bowl and soup. The beef tendon simmered in a sweet and savory sauce was delicious. My friend had the cold noodles. Lastly, we had matcha ice cream and a fruit platter.

After visiting an art museum or a museum, I stopped by this restaurant. It was my first visit in a while. I had a great seat near the counter on the Ueno station side, where I could see the trains passing by. The meat was delicious, priced at 1700 yen. I had some errands to run in Ueno, so I visited with a friend for lunch on a Sunday. We arrived around 12 o'clock and there were about 6 groups waiting in line. We were asked if we wanted a seat where we could grill the meat ourselves or a non-grilling seat, which affected the waiting time. The grilling seats were popular, so we had to wait about 15-20 minutes. My friend arrived late, so we opted for the grilling seat. We were seated at a table like a sunken kotatsu. After much deliberation, we ordered the lunch set with harami and kalbi. We could change the white rice to brown rice for an additional fee, so we did. We also decided to upgrade to a mini beef tendon bowl for an extra charge. The food arrived fairly quickly and included kimchi, salad, soup, etc., for about 2000 yen. With the addition of the mini beef tendon bowl, it came to just under 2500 yen. The meat was delicious, especially the beef tendon bowl with plenty of meat. For this price, it's definitely worth trying! We were really full but it was a great choice. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant around 6:00 pm on the weekend. The interior is spacious, with seats where you can eat while watching the trains go by, as well as tatami rooms suitable for small parties. It seems versatile for company gatherings or dates. We were seated right in front of the train tracks, so we could enjoy watching various trains pass by. Visited Ueno Park to see the Terracotta Warriors exhibition. Before entering, we decided to grab a bite to eat. We parked at Ueno Bamboo Garden and looked for a restaurant there, but it was quite crowded. We ended up choosing this place, which had an open feel but the rooms were separated. The staff even helped with taking off and putting on our shoes, and the service was quick and efficient. We ordered the Harami BBQ set, Beef Tongue BBQ set, and Stone Bibimbap to share among the three of us. Since it was a set menu, the taste and portion were decent. We had previously eaten at the Minatomirai branch and found it delicious, so our rating for this place is a bit lower. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Located about 1 minute from Ueno Station exit, this place was chosen for two reasons: 1. All-you-can-drink Super Dry at a yakiniku restaurant. 2. Accepts GOTOEAT digital coupons. However, the visit during snack time may have been a mistake as there was a shortage of staff. Despite 5-7 groups of customers, the service was slow, with a 40-minute wait between dishes. When asked, the dishes were all brought out at once, almost raw, and the staff quickly disappeared. We opted for the drink all-you-can (¥2000) which included Super Dry beer, sparkling wine, highball, and white wine. The food course (Peony ¥8000) included various appetizers, sushi, smoked duck, jamon serrano, salad, grilled vegetables, and fruits. The grilled dishes consisted of beef tongue and shrimp, premium beef ribs and vegetables, truffle harami steak, and grilled sukiyaki. The meal also included beef tongue and vegetable stone-grilled rice, tororo (grated yam), and seaweed soup. The dessert was sesame almond tofu, which was not enjoyable. The Super Dry beer was the highlight of the meal. Overall, the food was mediocre, and the service was lacking.

Ueno Bamboo Garden's second-floor yakiniku restaurant. I was craving for meat, so I was drawn to the Wagyu yakiniku. On this day, I enjoyed the local food comparison fair (Yamagata vs. Sendai). The atmosphere inside the restaurant is like a semi-private room, making you feel like you're on a trip to Korea (although it's not a complete wall). There were also moms with strollers at the opening time, so you can feel at ease even with a stroller. You couldn't hear the voices of babies in strollers inside the restaurant. The meat from the local food comparison was enjoyable as you could taste the differences in flavor from each region! Uguisudani's Bamboo Garden restaurant in Ueno offers a variety of raw meat dishes to enjoy. I have been to this restaurant before and the interior is spacious and very clean. It seems to be a Korean-style yakiniku restaurant, but they use Yamagata beef which is tender, juicy, and very delicious.

11/7/21 First visit, had lunch with my wife's friend's son. We had made a reservation for the opening time, so we were able to enter smoothly. There were a few other groups who entered at the same time. We were seated in a section with semi-private partitions about 1 meter high, which provided some privacy and seemed to be effective for COVID measures. My wife and I ordered the "Wagyu Kalbi and Half Cold Noodle Set" (1,980 yen) and "Green Tea (Iced)" (418 yen). The Wagyu Kalbi came with 4 slices and was delicious, although as someone not knowledgeable about meat, I didn't particularly notice any standout features. The cold noodles were more similar to Morioka-style cold noodles than Korean-style. They were tasty, but nothing particularly noteworthy to mention. The Kalbi portion was small, and there was too much rice, but we managed to finish it with the side kimchi. Considering the location, atmosphere, taste, and price, it was okay overall. Personally, I don't feel the need to visit again or recommend it to others. However, based on other reviews, there are high ratings from those who have a discerning taste for meat and can appreciate the differences, so depending on the menu ordered, high ratings can be expected.
