Ikebukuro, lunch with friends. When we searched for "let's eat yakiniku!", we found a restaurant that offers all-you-can-eat lunch. It's located near Sunshine Street, next to the revolving sushi restaurant Wakagi. Nearby, there are Ramen Hanada and Onikinbo, where there was a long line outside Onikinbo. We arrived at 1:00 pm and were asked, "Do you have a reservation?" Since we didn't have one, they said, "We can seat you at 2:00 pm." It was surprising that it was full even on a weekday, maybe because of the yakiniku boom due to the pandemic. We were so hungry that we decided to have a light meal at Wakagi, but we managed to curb our hunger by window shopping. We were able to enter just before 2:00 pm. The restaurant had a spacious and clean space, which was nicer than we imagined. Since it was spring break, there were many students. ★60-minute all-you-can-eat course for 1,980 yen (excluding tax) is available for groups of two or more from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm. You can add all-you-can-drink for an additional 1,000 yen, but we decided to stick with just the meat today! The last order is 20 minutes before closing. The menu includes: Kalbi, Nakaochi Kalbi, Tan Shio, Harami, Rosu, Spicy Hormone, Kimchi, Salad, Rice, Kalbi Soup, Egg Soup, Chocolate Mint Ice Cream, Almond Tofu You can choose the sauce and salt for each. The Kalbi wasn't too fatty, so even middle-aged people can enjoy it! Harami and Rosu were light and delicious. The Nakaochi Kalbi was thickly sliced but cut into small pieces, making it easy to eat. When you eat lettuce, meat, rice, and sauce together, it's super delicious! The salad dressing was like the one from Jojoen, it was delicious! The atmosphere felt like Jojoen, the name of this restaurant is Joan. I had seconds twice. You can choose the level of spiciness for the Spicy Hormone from three levels. I ordered it later, and it was spicier towards the end. The Kalbi Soup had plenty of meat and was spicy and delicious. The egg soup was light! Dessert is limited to one per person. I gave it to my friend! The last order is 20 minutes before closing, so we grilled and ate like crazy, and we were so busy that we couldn't even have a conversation. We ended up eating like we were stuffing ourselves, but the meat was delicious. It was good that the meat came out quickly after ordering. They served barley tea instead of water. I was able to pay with Suica. It was 2,178 yen. If you add extras like at Yakiniku Like, it ends up being close to 2,000 yen, so the all-you-can-eat here is good for those who want to eat a lot. It's better to make a reservation if you can.
