I have repeated visiting this restaurant several times. I have used the terrace seats, floor table seats, and the semi-private seats facing the BAR counter, and each of them has a good atmosphere where personal space is well maintained, making it very comfortable to spend time. This time, I ordered champagne, Yamagata beef steak, club cake, and asked if it was possible to have a Cobb salad, which is not on the menu. It was possible, and the Cobb salad with plenty of chicken was voluminous and delicious. The steak was cooked medium rare and was delicious without any complaints. The Japanese-style path leading to the entrance also has a quaint and romantic atmosphere. In addition to the atmosphere and deliciousness, it is also nice that all the dishes have a good amount of volume. As expected of a steakhouse in the Grand Hyatt, the prices are on the higher side.

It's been a while since I visited Oak Door, a steakhouse located at the Roppongi Grand Hyatt Tokyo. This time, I was there for their limited-time "Taste of America" event featuring five early 1900s American burger recipes recreated by Oak Door. The burgers included "Connecticut Broil Burger (¥2,200)", "Oklahoma Fried Onion Burger (¥2,860)", "Connecticut Steam Burger (¥2,860)", "Cheese Double Deck Burger (¥2,860)", and "Minnesota Burger (¥2,860)". We ordered all five burgers since there were four of us. The Connecticut Broil Burger was simple yet delicious with a square bun, broiled patty, tomato, onion, and cheese. The Oklahoma Fried Onion Burger had a unique smashed style with a crispy patty and onions. The Connecticut Steam Burger was light and featured Provolone cheese on a Kaiser roll. The Cheese Double Deck Burger was a two-layered burger with lettuce, patty, and cheddar cheese. Lastly, the Minnesota Burger had a juicy patty with cheese inside. All the burgers were tasty, but the Fried Onion Burger and Minnesota Burger stood out. It might be challenging to try all five burgers, so I recommend starting with the Fried Onion Burger or the Minnesota Burger. Additionally, Oak Door offers a great selection of craft beers to enjoy with your meal.

I tried the F1 hybrid beef called "Tomahawk," which retains the good parts of Holstein and domestic beef for the first time. It was a luxurious moment surrounded by a glass wine cellar in a perfect location. If you want to eat authentic American-style steak, this is the only choice. Everything was top-notch. I went to this place for a lunch meeting. I ordered the lunch set, which allows you to choose between Salisbury steak and Garden burger as the main dish. I chose the Salisbury steak, which was like a hamburger patty. It was coarsely ground and had a meaty texture, and the sauce and mashed potatoes were delicious. The Garden burger that someone else ordered was a burger made without meat. The Portobello mushroom patty was so big and hefty that it was hard to tell it apart from a meat patty. I like to relax on a lazy afternoon by going to my favorite restaurant. I have been here several times and Oak Door has great music selection, lots of international guests, and an amazing atmosphere. When I want to relax and chill, I come here, while when I want a cozy atmosphere, I go to Keyaki-zaka (teppanyaki) on the lower floor. Today, it was too hot outside so I enjoyed my meal in the bar area inside! Of course, besides the great atmosphere, I also love their authentic hamburgers. The patty allows you to taste the beef well, the bun is soft and light, the cheese is rich, and the crispy onion fries add a nice texture. It's a perfect balance. You can choose between salad and french fries, but since the burger is quite filling, I recommend the french fries only for those who are confident in finishing it. The burger is tall and may be a bit difficult for women to eat, but trying something different really boosts your mood! It's difficult to eat but that's what makes it good. Plus, it's delicious. When I want to eat a delicious burger or just chill out, I will definitely come back again.

Harbor Beer Garden! As it's getting hot, I wanted to drink beer outside, so I visited this place at the Grand Hyatt and it was a big hit ☺️ I stuck to two beers and enjoyed a variety of cocktails. I ordered the Cobb Chicken Salad from the a la carte menu, but the portion was surprisingly small (lol). The smoky dressing and ingredients were delicious, but I wished there was more. And how did my bill exceed 6000 yen with just a cocktail, salad, and tea (lol)? I don't recommend ordering a la carte, the set course is the way to go.

I had a champagne free flow course at night. It was amazing! The wine, both red and white from California, paired well with the meat. The Grand Hyatt has a great atmosphere, spacious with a terrace. I would love to go back for this course again! The barbecue seafood and meat were perfect with the wine.

The service was very polite and welcoming. They are known for their burgers and customizable hamburger steaks for lunch. The dishes were served on large plates, but I asked the staff to divide them for us.
