Revisited a doughnut and scone specialty shop located 2-3 minutes' walk from Yoyogi Uehara Station. The doughnuts here have a surprisingly light texture and you could easily eat multiple, it's dangerous (lol)! After trying the doughnuts at I'm Doughnuts, I got the urge to try Haritts' doughnuts as well. I had lunch at a certain Japanese restaurant in Tomigaya before walking there. When I arrived at the shop, it was snack time. I was relieved to see a short line, but I was disappointed to find that they only had a few products left ( •ั ᴗ •ั). Well...there were only three types left. But it was good that the one I wanted to try the most, the plain one, was still available. And it was freshly fried ┌ ( • 。 • )┘ ♪ I'm not strong enough to resist the temptation of freshly fried doughnuts. So, I ate it on the station platform (lol), no picture of the plain one. The items I purchased: Plain (220 yen) and Sweets 65 (330 yen) All the doughnuts here have delicious dough, but the freshly fried plain one is the epitome of that. It's fluffy yet chewy, and the dough is not greasy at all, just really delicious. When freshly fried, the fluffiness is even more pronounced. So yummy ( • ᴗ • )✧*. Sweets 65 has chocolate inside the dough. There isn't a lot of chocolate, but it's just enough to complement the deliciousness of the dough. This one is tasty too. Haritts' doughnuts may look plain compared to I'm Doughnuts, but in terms of lightness, Haritts comes out on top. However, I'm Doughnuts has a more typical doughnut heaviness and sweetness. It's all a matter of personal preference, but I prefer Haritts. I always just buy doughnuts, but maybe I should try a scone for once.

On a hot midsummer holiday afternoon, I found myself waiting outside the shop with 3 groups totaling 8 people, longer than expected, for about 10 minutes. I purchased 2 pieces of donuts, 5 varieties, for 520 yen. The plain one was 240 yen and the orange one was 280 yen. They were both fluffy and delicious. The orange one had orange peel inside, which made it refreshing. Overall, even though the hot weather took away some of the taste, it was a nice treat. Thank you. The takeout bag may be charged extra. There were some oil stains on it.

The appearance doesn't look like a donut shop, there's always a line of about 15 people. Only one group can enter the shop at a time and when one group leaves, another can enter. Surprisingly, the shop is located in a Showa-era single-family house. In front of the shop, there's a quite unique camping gear store. It's a fun place to stop by while exploring various shops around the area.

I checked out a restaurant that was listed in Tabelog's top 100, and decided to go. I arrived around 1 pm and there were about 10 people ahead of me in line. I waited for about 20 minutes before getting in, but the seating for eating in was full so I got takeout instead. I tried the plain, cinnamon, cocoa, and cream cheese flavors, and all of them were delicious and not greasy.

On Saturday around 3 PM, I bought Plain, Sweet 65, Cinnamon, and Salted Red Bean Doughnuts to go with about 8 people in line. I'm not a big fan of doughnuts, but I found these easy to munch on. They're not greasy and didn't leave me feeling bloated. The high ratings are well deserved. Inside the Sweet 65, there was chocolate, and in the Cinnamon, there was possibly raspberry.

Mango Cream: 4.0
The whipped cream and mango filling are chewy and delicious in this donut.
Cinnamon: 4.0
The cinnamon flavor has just the right amount of sweetness and the addition of small raisins is a nice touch. The fried donut with cinnamon is a classic and tasty choice.

【Shop】Haritsu Uehara Branch【Location】Tokyo/Yoyogi Uehara Station【Order】◇ Cinnamon Currant Donut◇ Plain Donut◇ Snowflake Cake Donut【Notes】
These donuts are fluffy and chewy. They are the type of donuts that everyone loves. They remind me of the donuts in storybooks.
◇ Cinnamon Currant Donut
This donut contains rum-soaked currants and has a strong cinnamon flavor. It's like a grown-up cinnamon donut.
◇ Plain Donut
It's always a good sign if a plain donut tastes delicious. Donuts are best enjoyed when eaten with your hands.
◇ Snowflake Cake Donut
This is a limited-time Taiwanese flavored donut. It is filled with coconut and pineapple, and it was surprisingly delicious. I was impressed by the fact that all the donuts have a low oil content.

Just a few minutes' walk from Yoyogi-uehara station on the Odakyu and Chiyoda lines, this shop seemed to always have a line of about 10 people even on days off, so I had been wanting to try it for a while. When I finally had the time, I visited the shop and found no line as it was a weekday morning. Some of the donuts were already sold out, showing how popular they are. It was for takeaway only that day, so I bought some for my family as well. We enjoyed the donuts leisurely at home. I would definitely like to visit again.

Visited on Thursday around 13:45. Currently, they only offer takeout service. One person is allowed to enter at a time. Since there was only one person inside, I had to wait a bit before entering. The menu was fully available: - Plain 240 yen - Cocoa Plain 240 yen - Cinnamon Calories 270 yen Total: 750 yen After refrigerating, I ate them. The texture was like fried bread, not too oily. I enjoyed eating all of them easily. Personally, I liked the Cinnamon Calories the most. Thank you for the meal.

After going to the hair salon once a month, I bought some donuts on my way back. The shop is located on a street to the right while climbing up the slope on the right side after exiting from the east exit of Yoyogi-Uehara Station. When I arrived around 1:00 pm on the weekend, there were 5 groups ahead of me, so I waited for about 10 minutes before entering the shop to make a purchase. Currently, they only offer takeout service. I bought the "Plain" (240 yen), "Cinnamon Carrenz" (270 yen), and "Cream Cheese" (340 yen) flavors. I ate the "Cream Cheese" flavor the next day before surfing, so I only had one. The donut had a chewy texture, providing a satisfying bite. The sugar on the surface was kept minimal to reduce the sweetness. The rich flavor of cream cheese was emphasized. The shop is conveniently close to the station, so I would like to buy some more soon.

Plain cream cheese matcha azuki donuts are fluffy but also chewy. They bounce back to their original shape when pressed, with a soft and resilient texture. Despite being donuts, they have a light feel due to good oil separation. The sweetness of the dough is subtle, allowing the flavor of the ingredients to shine through. Not too greasy or overly sweet, I initially planned to have just one but ended up finishing them all because they were delicious. I couldn't resist trying other flavors as well. Surprisingly, I didn't feel heavy afterward. The cream cheese filling tasted similar to a cheesecake and was delightful. The matcha flavor in the dough was strong, with a hint of bitterness, making it delicious. The red bean paste was moist and slightly less sweet, complementing the matcha flavor well. Overall, it's a donut shop with incredibly tasty doughnuts. I will definitely buy the cream cheese flavor again next time!

Yoyogi-Uehara is a hilly area with many slopes right after the station, although it is relatively close to the station. A popular donut shop is located up the hill and down a side street. When I visited, there was construction happening outside the shop, with workers talking to the staff. It seems like they might be renovating the shop. The shop itself seems to be an old traditional Japanese house, with wooden structure and old-fashioned sliding doors, giving a sense of history. Inside, the showcase displays various donuts, and a sign at the entrance indicates only one group is allowed inside at a time. I bought the last cinnamon donut and was pleased with the careful packaging with the name of the product written on it. I visited on a Thursday afternoon and luckily did not have to wait in line. It made me realize that Yoyogi-Uehara is a neighborhood with many delicious shops, including this shop that offers delicious and gentle Japanese-style donuts that allow you to savor the quality of the ingredients. It seems they have another branch in Ko-demma-cho.

I used takeout for the first time in a while. The prices have gone up, but they are still within reach. This time, I purchased plain flavor. It had a soft yet slightly chewy texture that explained why it remains popular. I'm looking forward to what to buy and eat next time.

Arrived 15 minutes before the 11:00 am opening on a public holiday. We were the first in line. After us, a long line formed. This time, I bought four kinds of donuts: plain, matcha white chocolate, cinnamon, and kinako (roasted soybean flour) with sweet red bean. It was takeout only, so we ate them in a nearby park. The donut dough was so fluffy! It felt like eating air. Personally, I liked the kinako with sweet red bean the best. It didn't have actual sweet bean paste inside, but instead, kinako paste in a chewy dough, which was delicious. It was really tasty. Thank you for the meal.

On Wednesday around 11:30, I walked up the hill from Yoyogi Uehara Station and came across this charming cafe tucked away a little off the main street. It seemed like a renovated old house, and the atmosphere was fantastic, so I couldn't resist going in. I tried the plain cocoa donut for 240 yen, and it was delicious. The staff were polite and attentive, and I have no complaints. If this cafe was closer to my home, I would definitely visit every month. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I will definitely be back! ^ ^

A shop that always has people lining up. I don't usually eat donuts, but the cream cheese donut here is different! I want to buy it and bring it home even if I have to wait in line. The dough is chewy and goes perfectly with the cheese inside. It doesn't give off a too sweet impression, so I want to have another one. I will definitely go back!

Arrived around 3:30 pm on a holiday without waiting and purchased a cream cheese donut. Other donuts were sold out. It was soft and fluffy, with cream cheese inside a normal donut. I was able to enjoy the normal flavor while savoring the cream cheese. Although I didn't try the others, I feel like I chose the best one. I happened to encounter Japan's best donut.

I came to Haritts, located a 3-minute walk from Yoyogi-Uehara Station. It is a small house on the first floor on a side street to the right of Sio, which is currently the most famous in Japan. Around 11:30 on a holiday, there was a line of about 15 people. It took about 30 minutes to enter the store. I purchased a donut made from tofu and kinako. The texture was fluffy, chewy, and perfectly sweet. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

After having lunch, I decided to buy some souvenirs for my family and stopped by haritts. It was midday on a weekday, so there were only about 4 groups waiting. The place is like a hidden gem in a renovated traditional house in an alley, stylish and clean. Since only one group can enter the store at a time, it seemed to be relatively empty given there were around 20 groups waiting outside. On this day, I bought 4 donuts: 1) Plain (¥240) 2) Cocoa Plain (¥240) 3) Okara Kinako (soybean powder) (¥270) 4) Salted Red Bean (¥320). Haritts' donuts have a wonderful balance of "fluffy, chewy, and moist" textures, all coming together to be incredibly delicious. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

I had always been curious about Haritts in the back alley of Yoyogi-Uehara, a shop I could never buy from because it was always crowded whenever I went. Finally, I was able to purchase some on Monday around 2 PM when there was no line! When I entered the shop for the first time, I saw a variety of donuts available. I bought plain and chocolate flavors. These donuts were unlike any I had tried before - fluffy and not too sweet, with lots of powdered sugar on the outside. They were delicious. I also bought some rusk, which was crispy and not overly sweet, just perfect. I would definitely like to purchase from this shop again.

This is my second visit! The atmosphere of the shop is retro and cozy! On this day, I bought one plain donut for a snack! The fluffy dough is delicately coated with sugar like powder. Simple donuts like this are very delicious! I will definitely go back for snacks again! Thank you for the meal!
