Cafe & restaurant located within Sunshine Prince Hotel. The hotel collaborates with various anime, so there are collaboration menus available here. Of course, regular menus are also available, so normal use is also okay. The collaboration menu was viewed by scanning a QR code. Orders are placed by calling a staff member. The dishes were very elaborate, as expected of a hotel restaurant. Perhaps because of this, the prices seemed a bit high for the portion size. ✼••┈Ordered Items┈••✼ - Original Drink: Hainya Ran - Original Drink: Hainya Ryoutan - Half-size Yakisoba - S'mores with Berry Sauce 2023/09 ✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼••┈┈••✼

I was shopping at Sunshine City but got tired of the crowds, so I decided to stop by this cafe in the adjacent hotel. The matcha tiramisu had black beans as a topping, giving it a Japanese twist. The layers were filled with plenty of cream, making it sweeter than expected.

I enjoyed the buffet in a very nice atmosphere. Not only were the melon and mango desserts delicious, but there was also a wide variety of light snacks to choose from, making it difficult to decide (lol). The drinks were also impressive, with no compromise on quality. I wanted to keep eating, but ran out of time, so I'll prepare myself for round two! It was really delicious!

I tried the dinner plan included in the Prince Hotel accommodation package. The sashimi, poêlé, and rice cooked with sea bream were delicious, and I could feel the commitment of the restaurant to quality. The dessert made with strawberries further emphasized this (Strawberry Buffet Fair is currently being held). Although the restaurant was crowded, I couldn't help but notice that the dishes seemed pre-made and sometimes overcooked, and the serving temperature was not ideal. The scallop poêlé was very tasty. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the cafe restaurant because the dessert buffet was fully booked. I ordered the roast beef and vegetable curry, which was a bit pricey (around 2500 yen), but it was a well-prepared curry. The rice was not white rice, but olive rice, which is a taste that some may like and others may not.

My husband and I went to a dessert buffet together. The ratio of salads to sweets and rice was about 5.5:4.5 (excluding the salad bar). The size of the cake sweets was small and just right for me. The rice menu also included potatoes, curry, pasta, and roast pork, so it passed as a buffet. However, the disappointing part was the lack of hospitality. Embarrassingly, my companion accidentally spilled food on the floor when trying to grab some, and his clothes got dirty. There was a kitchen staff member right in front of us, but they didn't offer a towel or call for help from the dining staff. Since there was nothing nearby to wipe with, we had no choice but to pick up the food from the floor with our hands. The kitchen staff then handed us a towel they had just used and said, "Please use this." It was questionable whether it was okay to use the towel on our clothes, so we ended up using it on the floor. Even if there were no clean towels nearby in the kitchen, I wished they had called for help from the dining staff or taken some other appropriate action. I felt anxious about whether the floor where the food was dropped would be slippery and if the situation was being handled properly.

I went with a friend and the variety of cakes and fruits was great. I especially liked that they had lychee, which is not something I eat often. It was a nice experience, thank you for the meal.

Strawberry Afternoon Tea Set (SEIBU PRINCE CLUB member price) ¥4746 (regular price) ¥5650 *both prices include tax. ★Visit Date and Time: Weekday, 6pm ★Reservation: Through the official website ★Crowdedness: Not crowded. <Afternoon Tea> ★Time Limit: 2-hour limit (no rush to leave) ★Drinks: Coffee, tea with around 20 different flavors of Mighty Leaf tea ★Service Speed: Fast ★Sweetness: Moderate to sweet ★Portion: Adequate. I had been drawn to the cuteness of the official website for a long time. Since it is limited to weekdays and requires a minimum of 2 people in Ikebukuro, it was a bit challenging for me to visit. The restaurant is usually a buffet-style place, so the interior is relatively simple. There were very few people on a weekday, and we were seated at a semi-private circular seat by the wall. Despite the lack of people and simplicity, the staff were attentive and made the dining experience enjoyable. However, the sweets and savories are still buffet-style. They were delicious for a buffet, but not quite at the level of a hotel afternoon tea. Nevertheless, the sweets were not overly sweet. The presentation was cute, and the fact that it was a Prince Club member price made it somewhat satisfying. However, it may be difficult to adjust plans to go with others on a weekday, so if solo reservations were possible and the price was lower, I would consider revisiting.

I went to a buffet at a hotel, and while it was decent for a hotel buffet with some high-end offerings, it wasn't outstanding. The strawberry sweets buffet at this time of year wasn't as great as I had hoped, but it wasn't a disappointment either. It can be said that the buffet was enjoyable for those with a big appetite as you could try all the varieties. The main strawberries didn't leave a lasting impression. What I do remember is the spaghetti and yogurt sherbet.

After having lunch with a friend at a restaurant on the 59th floor of Sunshine City, we decided to find a place for tea downstairs. We went down to the 1st floor, but it was crowded with people on a Sunday in Sunshine City. Actually, Ikebukuro itself was already overcrowded. We checked the floor map and found a place called Obachan Prince Hotel. We wondered if there was a lounge there! We decided to check it out and found a cafe with a display case full of cakes. We asked if we could eat the cakes inside, and they said yes, so we dropped in. We were seated in a room closest to the entrance, and there were only about two other groups of customers besides us. It was nice. I ordered a strawberry and pear panna cotta and an organic black mango tea. The panna cotta was delicious. The mango tea turned out to be ice (I didn't read the menu carefully), but it was also tasty. However, after about an hour, the place was almost full (laughs). Ikebukuro is amazing. The woman at the register was very polite, but the waiter didn't have the feel of a hotel staff. Don't expect hotel-level service, but it's more relaxed than other hotel cafes, and you can have a peaceful time without being overcrowded.

This time, I made a reservation for the course starting at 2:30. If you have a membership or a card, the cost is only 4400 yen, which is a great deal. First, I enjoyed the dishes. I had salmon spring rolls, carrot salad, and even complimentary roast beef. The roast beef was delicious. Buffets are often judged by their roast beef, and this one did not disappoint. There was also pumpkin soup, chicken curry, and although the menu was limited, everything was tasty. After eating some main dishes, I moved on to desserts. Here is a list of the desserts available: [List of desserts]. I tried a variety of desserts, including the Chocolat Mont Blanc, which was creamy and delicious. Overall, I had a great time enjoying the Christmas sweets at the restaurant.

Today's afternoon tea at Ikebukuro, my first nun activity ( ⌯᷄௰⌯᷅ ) ❤️ #ChristmasAfternoonTeaSet (Weekdays, including service charge ¥5,500-). @sunshinecityprincehotel November and December joint birthday & Christmas party. This year, instead of a home party, we decided to treat ourselves to a luxurious lunch at Chef's Palette's afternoon tea ☕️✽.。.:*・゚. [Operation] It seems that they manage accommodation plans and membership levels with room key cards, making the check-in process very smooth. It's impressive that Prince Hotel even provides seat guidance. It's convenient to reserve a seat with the "in use card" and then go get your food. The separation of Western food, Japanese food, salad, and dessert zones is user-friendly. However, the order-style egg dishes at the Western food section tend to cause congestion, making it difficult to access other dishes in front of them. [Japanese food] There may not be a wide variety of side dishes, but the necessary menu items are available. It's rare to have two types of grilled fish (salmon, mackerel) constantly, and they are not dry like hospital food often found in hotel breakfasts, but rather juicy, which is highly appreciated. The side dishes also provide a good amount of vegetables. It's a bit disappointing that there is only white rice for carbohydrates and no noodles. I tried the "Japanese-style soup curry" on the last day, which is a staple, but it lacked spice flavor and the ingredients were mainly just potatoes and daikon, disappointing. [Western food] Surprisingly, there are few types of bread. There are no warm vegetable dishes, and the salad ingredients are minimal, with only one dressing each for Japanese and Western options. The simplicity is unexpected for a Prince Hotel, losing to Japanese food. [Dessert, drinks] The variety of fruits is limited, possibly due to the winter season. There is only one type of petit roll cake for dessert. Personally, I appreciated that there was vegetable juice available, but it was disappointing that it was a vegetable juice-fruit juice blend like Kagome's Veggie Delight. The variety of coffee is also limited. [Others] There is no particular local color. During busy times, the use of disposable gloves and masks when taking food is not well enforced, causing concern.

First time visiting here. The colorful appearance got me excited! Just the thought of Christmas already boosts my mood, and the sweets were cute and delicious, it was the best!! All the sweets were tasty, but the savory items were especially delicious, which was surprising. Despite the rich content, the cost performance is amazing (^ ^) I now want to try other seasonal offerings at Afnoon.

We came to have lunch at this place on the 1st floor of Ikebukuro Sunshine Prince Hotel with two people. I ordered the "Homemade Demi-Glace Sauce Napolitan" for 1320 yen, and my companion ordered the "Adult Lunch" for 1980 yen. The Adult Lunch includes: Today's appetizer/soup/Napolitan/Steak with Polynesian sauce/French fries/Broccoli/Hotel's special curry rice/Shrimp fry with tartar sauce/Fried chicken. Normally, I would have ordered the Adult Lunch as well, but this time I was in the mood for a lot of Napolitan, so I decided to order that instead. The Napolitan comes with a thick sausage on top and is made with demi-glace sauce, which gives it a unique flavor. I really enjoyed it. I ate all of my Napolitan by myself, but I tried a little bit of each of the various dishes from my companion's Adult Lunch. The steak and the curry rice left a strong impression on me. This lunch menu is really good value for money and highly recommended. Thank you for the meal.

I used a voucher for the Sunshine Prince Hotel accommodation and had the Beef Loin Cutlet Box for 2000 yen, but with the voucher it was 1500 yen. The meat was very thick and delicious. The portion was generous, with a lot of rice. I don't often have the opportunity to eat like this, but next time I will stay with a plan that includes breakfast.

I wanted to try the Australian sweets buffet. The menu includes Australian sweets and food, as well as original sweets featuring autumn flavors. Some of the dishes are fish & chips, Australian lobster & calamari fritters, Aussie beef roast salad, meat pie, chicken schnitzel, chicken curry, vegetable soup, mini ramen with roasted pork, and vegetable salad. The dessert menu includes Australian sweets such as pecan nut tart, lamington, mud cake, Australian wine jelly with raspberry mousse, macadamia nut and orange caramel muffin. There are also autumn sweets like walnut and almond matcha terrine, pistachio macaron, pomegranate jelly with white chocolate mousse, pear clafoutis, chestnut souffle cheesecake, persimmon panna cotta, pumpkin pudding, sweet potato roll cake, apple tart, and grape shortcake. The performance sweets include vanilla ice cream pavlova with fig and raspberry sauce, and chestnut Mont Blanc. The recommended dishes are the vegetable soup, mini ramen, and chicken curry. As for sweets, the lamington and pistachio macaron are delicious. The pomegranate jelly with white chocolate mousse is also great. The pumpkin pudding is rich and irresistible. The macadamia nut and orange caramel muffin has a fluffy texture and delicious filling. The pavlova with custard-flavored ice cream is exceptional. The mud cake, which I didn't expect much from, is rich with lots of chocolate and nuts. The grape shortcake, however, has mediocre dough but comes with grapes similar to Kyoho grapes. The price for members is only 3000 yen, which is incredibly low! The sweets are not like commercial ones, which is amazing. Overall, the content is very good.

On Wednesday at 4 pm, I called and was told there was availability, so I went to the restaurant after finishing my errands. The tables were spaced out, and the small dishes were all wrapped in plastic wrap. We placed our order without any contact, and it was clear that the hotel staff had put in a lot of effort to ensure safety. The price was very reasonable at 3000 yen for members. We sat at a table for two with a film divider between us, which made us feel safe. The Hawaiian dishes were mostly light and delicious, with dishes like salmon and avocado. The main dishes we ordered were also tasty. We looked at the samples before ordering and had to wait for them to be served. The sample menu had five items, including tasty spare ribs and a mini Loco Moco rice bowl with a delicious mini hamburger. Other dishes we tried were garlic shrimp, a small portion of shrimp broth ramen, and Saimin. The Kalua pork was easy to eat, with shredded meat in a sweet and savory sauce, served with small tortillas. I especially enjoyed the Portuguese sausage sandwich, which was simple and delicious with cheese. The beef curry was my personal favorite. The pumpkin soup that came with the pancakes was too salty for my taste, but the Lilikoi Brulee Pancakes were delicious. The pineapple sorbet was sweet and paired well with the pancakes. There were also various melon desserts, including melon shortcake, melon tart, white chocolate mousse with melon, melon roll cake, melon chiffon cake, whole melon trifle, strawberry milk crepe with melon, melon soup with mascarpone cream, melon panna cotta, and chocolate banana marshmallow cupcake. The Acai bowl was a bit lacking in flavor due to the small portion size. The chia seed and lychee jelly was very sweet and fragrant. The Haupia tart was a tart with chocolate and coconut cream. There were also fruit punch and coffee jelly. It was a great experience to enjoy Hawaiian cuisine and melon sweets without having to go to Hawaii. It was nice that it was relatively empty on a weekday evening.

On Friday night, I stayed at the Prince Hotel in Ikebukuro and had dinner at this restaurant on the lower floor. [Ordered] Trois Vianndes ¥5000 [Impressions] First of all, the service varies depending on the person. There is a difference between friendly and not so friendly staff. Also, there are acrylic dividers between the tables, but only one side had spoons and forks, so we had to ask for them. Looking at other tables, both sides had them, so it seemed like they forgot to put them on our table. However, they just brought them without saying anything. Not very pleasant. The food, the meat was cold, and the salad and bread were far from the price range. The dessert that came out at the end was visually appealing and delicious. I recommend using this place more as a cafe with a focus on sweets. Considering the quality and service, the ¥5000 dinner seemed a bit expensive. I thought I could have eaten something better for this price.

I used the dinner included in the human dock course, so I'm not sure about the price, but it felt appropriate. It was not especially delicious, but not bad either. If it's the same Prince Hotel, Tokyo Prince Hotel was more fulfilling.
