The restaurant is said to be difficult to make reservations at, but a colleague from work managed to secure a reservation for us, so we went to enjoy a meat festival. The restaurant is located just a short walk from Akebonobashi Station, with a small counter seating area on the first floor. Among the various locations, this is the only one where you can grill your meat on a shichirin (charcoal grill). If you have four or more people, you can reserve the entire floor. This time, we opted for the 8000 yen course with all-you-can-drink. The lineup of meat included seared yukke liver, cut-off pieces, thick sliced beef tongue, upper loin, salted harami, sirloin, salted kalbi, wagyu miso yaki, wagyu steak, duck shabu-shabu, and vegetables such as mizuna. The liver had a beautiful color, no odor, and a moist and fresh texture. The beef tongue was very thick but tender. All the meats were delicious and we were very satisfied with the quality for the price. The alcohol was all-you-can-drink, and there were many options available for self-service, making it a bit busy but enjoyable. The most dangerous part was the all-you-can-eat curry. It was a delicious curry with plenty of ground meat and spices. Being able to scoop out as much curry as you want from the rice cooker and enjoy it with rice was pure bliss. I ended up eating more meat and curry than I usually do. On the way back, we walked to Higashi-Shinjuku to digest and bask in the afterglow. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Course tax included 8000 yen. Rice and drinks are self-service, all-you-can-eat and drink for the best cost performance! Everything was delicious, but my favorite was the Wagyu beef and duck broth shabu-shabu! I tried pouring the broth over the leftover rice and eggs to make it like a porridge, and it was incredibly delicious! The curry is a bit spicy, but with unlimited rice refills, it's very filling! Satisfied!

It was the best yakiniku I have ever had. My friend posted a delicious-looking yakiniku photo on Instagram, and I mustered up the courage to comment that I wanted to try it. They made a reservation for me. I couldn't focus on work all day because I was so excited. The meat was part of an $80 course with various cuts served in easy-to-eat portions, and rice and drinks were self-service with unlimited refills. It felt like a dreamland, similar to Disneyland. The meat fat was so delicious! I usually get indigestion from fat easily these days, but I couldn't believe how tasty it was. The meal ended with a kelp broth shabu-shabu and curry for the finale. My stomach was about to burst, but it was such a happy time. Thank you for the feast!

Yakiniku Hiromiya, with a reservation starting at 3pm, offers all-you-can-drink! Rice is also free for seconds, making it the perfect holiday. I started with kimchi and namul while waiting for the meat. The yukhoe was incredibly delicious and impressive. Next, I tried the liver with sesame oil and salt, which was amazing! I lightly seared it and it was fresh and delicious. The upper tongue and green onion salted loin melted in my mouth. The special selection platter was also reliably delicious, featuring Japanese beef and duck shabu shabu! The broth was excellent. Even though I was already full, the final mixed noodles mysteriously found their way into my stomach. I had a very happy and satisfying day.

When it comes to sourcing wagyu beef, I have a good relationship with the producers who raise the cattle and I trust their judgment to a certain extent. Recently, I met an acquaintance who I highly respect in terms of meat wholesaling. We decided to have yakiniku together, and he chose Yakiniku Hiromiya 3rd branch. As you may know, this restaurant is notoriously difficult to make a reservation at, but he managed to secure one easily through his connections. We arrived at the small counter seating area at the restaurant in Asagaya, passing through the noren curtain. The menu consisted of the Hiromiya yakiniku course (7500 yen) starting with wagyu beef miso tofu, kimchi, and bean sprout namul. The brand of beef was average, but the self-service drinks including beer, shochu, and whiskey were a nice touch. The staff didn't cook the meat for us, so we grilled it ourselves, which may not be everyone's preference. All the meat was of high quality, with the wagyu seared yukhoe, tongue with salt, sauce-grilled meat, and special two-meat platter being particularly delicious. The liver was a bit sweet, so we ordered more. It's a no-frills yakiniku restaurant with minimal service, but this is understandable as they may be understaffed. The total bill came to around 8000 yen including additional orders. I heard there may be a slight price increase in the future, but I believe it's worth it. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely visit again.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I was lucky to have the second floor all to ourselves. The menu offers yukhoe, but instead of raw yukhoe, it is seared yukhoe, with everything else being the same. The private room allows exclusive use of the beer and highball servers, which is a nice touch. The quality of the meat is consistently high and very delicious. Especially the tongue salt, seared yukhoe, special two kinds platter, and lean steak were delicious. It's a shame that the prices will be going up from 7,500 to 8,000 yen in the future, but it will be even more enjoyable for young people or large groups.

Private reservation on the second floor. It seems like they will raise the prices starting next month, but I think I made this reservation about a year ago... So, I had no idea about that (laughs). I think when I first went to Hiromiya main store, it was 5,000 yen. It's delicious, but if I'm going to pay 7,500 yen, there are better restaurants out there... But, it's definitely a fun experience!

A very popular all-you-can-drink course at a yakiniku restaurant. Located about a 4-minute walk from Akebonobashi Station A1 exit. It seems to have 3 branches: 3rd branch, 4th branch, and main branch. The 3rd branch only has a counter and a second-floor group seating area that can be reserved for private parties. The counter has a capacity for four people. Reservations for one person are only available at this 3rd branch, while reservations for two or more people are possible at the other branches. The course includes all-you-can-drink for 7500 yen, and the quality of the meat is quite high for the price. In particular, the tongue and the harami (skirt steak) with an optional order were of a very high standard. Even with the upcoming price increase next month, 8000 yen would still be worth it for the quality. The all-you-can-drink beverages and rice are self-served. The variety of drinks included in the all-you-can-drink menu is quite extensive. The well-used smoke exhaust system above the charcoal grill is effective, as there was only a faint smell left on my hair and clothes after leaving the restaurant. The atmosphere is not particularly stylish, and other than the meat, everything is self-service, so personal preferences may vary. However, the quality of the meat is definitely worth the price. The restaurant plays J-pop music from the early 2000s, which may make you feel like going to karaoke. I found myself unintentionally getting excited and singing along to the intro of each song with the group next to me (laughs). Overall, it's a highly recommended place. Received an invitation from a colleague to visit this restaurant for the first time. It seems to be a popular place with difficult reservations, but luckily there was a cancellation and I was able to book a month in advance. The restaurant has a fancy exterior but the interior is clean. The 2-hour course with all-you-can-drink started and everything was delicious! The moment it touches your mouth, it's so good!! The meat with plenty of marbling was easy to eat in just the right amount. The freshly cooked rice is also all-you-can-eat. The drinks were also all-you-can-drink (including draft beer, shochu, wine, highball, sake, and more). The cost performance is amazing. Mixing white rice with egg, kimchi, and the barbecue sauce is the best. Even the soba at the end was delicious. Very, very satisfied. I can see why this place is so popular.
