During the second half of my visit to Tokyo, I was able to secure some private time. Since I came all the way to Tokyo, I decided to stay in Ginza and explore delicious food. I used this hotel as a base for my food adventures. It was my first time staying at Monterey in Ginza, and I was impressed by the exterior, interior, and atmosphere. The location is great, right in the center of Ginza. I booked a small room this time for cost-effectiveness, but it was compact, easy to use, and comfortable. The staff were very polite and the coffee in the room was delicious. Thank you for taking care of me. Thank you very much.

I used it for my friend's birthday. I had always been curious about this restaurant, so I was glad to go. We toasted with sparkling wine and started with a bite-sized appetizer. The portion was just right, and it was a course that even women could enjoy. The most delicious dish was the fish and Ise shrimp, with the shrimp being firm and the fish being refreshing. I wanted to eat another plate of it~ The main meat dish was also very juicy, with a good volume, tender, and delicious. The bread was freshly baked with the restaurant's special garlic olive oil, which made me crave it and I couldn't help but eat it (^-^). The dessert was also refreshing and I finished it in no time! It was a wonderful celebration.

The other day, I visited Hotel Monterey in Ginza, which I had been curious about for a long time! Both dinner and breakfast were really good and delicious! The breakfast buffet had a wide variety and was delicious! The room was also very clean, spacious, and had a calming atmosphere! I will definitely visit again!

I stayed at Hotel Monterey Ginza and woke up before 7 am to have breakfast at the restaurant on the 2nd floor. I was able to secure a seat with a view of the sparkling chandelier in the mostly empty dining area. There were various types of bread, including croissants, neatly arranged at the bread corner, with toasters on both sides. I started with a croissant and orange juice. The croissant was crispy but slightly burnt on the surface. Despite the hotel's Western image, there was also a variety of Japanese dishes available. I enjoyed grilled salmon, mackerel, eggplant, namul, okra, and rice as my main dish. I had a second croissant with corn potage. The salad options included pre-made cheese salad and a DIY salad bar with fresh vegetables. The cherry tomatoes were particularly sweet and delicious. I wanted to try Western dishes, yogurt, cereal, and desserts, but I had to use the restroom and had to give up on them. I took coffee back to my room for teleworking. Don't ask if I made it to the restroom in time... just leave me alone.

I stayed at Hotel Monterey Ginza in Ginza for a business trip. Breakfast is served from 7am to 9am with thorough infection prevention measures in place. Since it's Tokyo, there were no local ingredients, but the buffet mainly consisted of Japanese food. The buffet itself was just a normal breakfast buffet. I was in a hurry and only had 15 minutes to eat, but when I realized I had forgotten something, they didn't contact me until I called them. They said they had kept it safe for me. I wish they had contacted me sooner. Overall, thank you for the meal!

I stayed at the Montre in Ginza, where for some reason there are no photos of the appetizers. I had a busy schedule starting in the morning, and Montre had a late check-in due to facility maintenance, but it was very reasonable. The appetizer photo failed, so I had waffles with nuts and maple syrup instead. The highlight was the Montre's specialty truffle omelette with cheese added. The aroma was wonderful and the omelette was rich and creamy, truly impressive. The yogurt mousse dessert with granola was also excellent. Even though you can have seconds, I didn't need any! I'm full. You can find many affordable plans for staying without using the GoTo campaign.

In January 2020, I chose Hotel Monterey Ginza as the base for my Tokyo food adventure. It is located in a great location in Ginza 2-chome and the cost-performance ratio was quite good. After arriving in Tokyo in the morning, I left my luggage at the hotel and went out for lunch and bought some cakes before returning to check-in. This time, I chose the standard twin room without meals plan. It cost a total of 28,000 yen for 2 nights and 3 days for 2 people, so it came out to be 7,000 yen per person per night. The hotel has a calm and classic interior, and the facilities were quite comfortable. One day during the 2-night stay, we had breakfast at the hotel for 2,400 yen (breakfast is served on the 2nd floor). We had already eaten breakfast at Tsukiji early in the morning, so this was our second meal. The breakfast was a mix of Japanese and Western buffet style, with not too many items but with unique offerings like koji sweet sake and almond milk soup, croissant waffles, omelets made with Iwate Farm eggs, and a satisfying drink lineup including rooibos tea and acai juice. It was a delicious breakfast. This was my first time staying in Ginza, and I found it convenient to go anywhere (Tokyo Station and Tsukiji are within walking distance). I would like to stay here again someday. Although it was a short 2-night, 3-day stay, thank you for everything.

I attended a party with all-you-can-drink at a banquet hall on Yanagibashi Street in Ginza. It was a venue suitable for wedding receptions as well. We toasted with bottled beer and were served dishes like bonito sashimi, smoked salmon salad, steamed chicken with jellyfish, and cucumber salad on large platters. Each person helped themselves in a Chinese rotating table style as the party progressed. We enjoyed dishes like caprese with mozzarella cheese, deep-fried white fish, and roasted pork, along with white wine and red wine. I thought the meal would end with pilaf and Neapolitan pasta, but it turned out to be chicken rice and spaghetti all'amatriciana. Despite the unexpected menu, I left feeling full and satisfied with the all-you-can-drink experience.

The hotel's buffet breakfast is fun. They have a wide variety of juices in addition to coffee. The breakfast is a mix of Japanese and Western styles, catering well to the many foreign guests. It was delicious.

If you come back to the restaurant in the morning, it's better to go early because after 7:30 am, you may have to wait for a table.

I visited again on December 9, 2017 and had the usual reliable breakfast. It tends to get crowded around 7:15 am, so I think it's best to go a bit earlier or later.

I stay in various hotels when I go on gourmet trips. This year, I stay in a hotel at least once a week. So, I thought I would occasionally post about hotels. I stayed at Hotel Monterey Ginza for the first time. It's about a 10-minute walk from JR Yurakucho Station. It's also within walking distance from Tokyo Station (although it's a bit of a walk). The exterior and the cozy atmosphere of the rooms were better than I had imagined. It's a high-quality space with a classical taste. Even for a weekend stay, it's reasonably priced, at less than 20,000 yen for one person. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Breakfast buffet: 2,300 yen Since this is on Tabelog, I'll report on the breakfast. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. When I arrived at 7:00 am, there were already a lot of customers lined up, so I returned at 9:00 am. Even then, there were quite a few customers lined up. Each table was occupied by one or two customers, so only about half of the tables were filled, but the tables were all full. It's a buffet style with both Japanese and Western breakfast options. In terms of taste, the breakfast was better than the lunch I had yesterday. The omelet made by the chef after ordering was especially delicious and fluffy. Considering its prime location in Ginza, this hotel is more than satisfactory. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

I stayed at the Monterey Ginza for two nights during my business trip to Tokyo, as Yurakucho is a common area for me. The quality of the hotel, the room, and the breakfast are all top-notch for me. However, the food is so delicious that I end up overeating and struggle with the timing of lunch. PS: This time, Ginza was bustling due to the visit of President Trump.

The title doesn't really have any meaning (lol). After a night of studying, I stayed in the Ginza area. The hotel had a quaint feel to it, as if it had been a stylish hotel in the past. It had a bit of an old-fashioned vibe inside. Looking at the guests, more than half seemed to be from overseas, including Europe, China, and Korea. The breakfast buffet (Japanese and Western, 2400 yen) had a variety of options for a price in the lower 2000 yen range. It didn't have things like made-to-order omelettes, but I enjoyed the vegetables and proteins. The taste was okay, nothing special. It's conveniently located near Ginza-itchome Station, making it a good choice for those who don't want to walk around too much.

I stayed for 3 nights from July 21st to July 24th and had the breakfast buffet for 3 consecutive days. The menu was almost the same each day, but the quality of the dishes was high. On June 11th, I stayed at Monterey Ginza and had breakfast, which was very satisfying in terms of variety and quality. Eating breakfast here makes me feel motivated for the day. My top recommendation is the pickled plum, followed by the freshly baked omelette.

I stayed at Monterey Ginza in Tokyo. Breakfast is served in a buffet style. The variety of dishes is not extensive, but each dish is well cooked. One of the highlights is the omelette. The chef cooks the omelette right in front of you. You can enjoy the cooking technique. The fluffy omelette was delicious. One thing to note is that the breakfast buffet at Monterey Ginza starts at 7:00 am. The space for the buffet is limited, so it gets very crowded by 7:10 am.

This hotel, "Hotel Monterey Ginza," is located about 560 meters southeast from the Kyobashi exit of JR Yamanote Line Yurakucho Station, along Ginza Yanagi Street. It has been in business for 15 years. Today, I participated in a field trip and training session for a certain organization at Tokyo Super Eco Town, followed by a New Year's party. We gathered at Ginza Kyubei for lunch, then visited two large industrial facilities in Jonan Island by bus. After the tour, we checked in at the hotel and immediately had the New Year's party at the 2nd floor banquet hall Le Soleil. The party, with about 60 people, included a course with a set menu and all-you-can-drink for 10,000 yen per person. There was a brief greeting from the representative of the organization, followed by introductions of guests and a toast with beer. From the second drink onwards, there were free drinks, including two cups of Dassai sake brought by someone (with the hotel's approval). The first dish served was tuna and avocado tartare, which was surprisingly easy to eat and had a straightforward taste. After trying several dishes and eating some bread, I started to feel a bit full. So, I requested red wine to accompany the main dish, roast beef. Among all the dishes, the roast beef was particularly delicious. It was served on a large plate with demiglace sauce, Spanish omelette, and mashed potatoes. The roast beef was very tender, and the demiglace sauce complemented it well. It was a high-quality dish with a deep flavor. For dessert, we had mango jelly on a glass plate, along with coffee. The sweetness was moderate, and it was also delicious. After the party, the second party was held at a nightclub in Ginza called "Shiroi Bara," which has been in business for 85 years. There were 50 participants who enjoyed the showtime, live karaoke, and gradually moved on to the third and fourth parties, enjoying the night in Ginza.
