I visited this new restaurant near my friend's house in Denenchofu for some errands. It's a beautiful place with orchids decorating the interior. The selection of Japanese sake is impressive, and the food is delicious. The fried chicken cooked in their high-performance oven was especially tasty. Denenchofu is a great place for enjoying good Japanese sake.

Blog "Eating and Drinking Along the Tokyu Line" https://asante.blog/ - I noticed this place online and decided to check it out. It opened in December 2022. Located on Rokken Street on the east side of Denenchofu Station, this area surprisingly has many affordable restaurants. However, there are few nighttime options, making this izakaya a valuable addition. I visited on a weekday around 6:30 pm. The shiny interior had a counter and tables, but due to being short-staffed, they were mainly focusing on counter seating. I ordered a Sapporo Black Label beer for 770 yen, along with a "Little by Little" set for 1,100 yen and non-fried chicken karaage for 990 yen. I also tried a sake tasting set, opting for 3 out of the 5 varieties. I enjoyed the light and varied dishes with my drinks. The highlight was the non-fried karaage, which was refreshing. The recommended sakes were Kawaznakajima Genbu Junmai Ginjo, Tedorigawa Junmai Karakuchi, and Okunoto no Shirakiku Junmai Ginjo. Among them, I particularly liked the Okunoto no Shirakiku for its easy-to-drink yet flavorful taste. Overall, it felt more like a sake bar than an izakaya. While I found the beer price and dishes a bit on the expensive side, it may be reasonable for a sake bar. Thank you for the meal.
